This isn't eye-harp podcast.

Guaranteed human.

Ready for a different take on Formula One, look no further than no grip, a new podcast tackling

the culture of motor racing's most coveted series. Join me, Lily Herman, as we dive into the under-export pockets of F1, including the astrology of the current grid, the story of the sports most consequential driver strike, and plenty of other mishab scandals and sagas that have made Formula One a delightful, decadent, dumpster fire for more than 75 years.

Listen to no grip on the eye-harp radio app, apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. It's financial literacy month, and the podcast eating while broke is bringing real conversations about money, growth, and building your future. This month, here from top streamer Zo Spencer and Venture Capitalist Lakitya, Landroom

Pierre, as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up.

There's an economic component to community striping.

If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail. Listen to eating while broke from the black-of-fact podcast network on the eye-harp radio app, apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Daniel Alarcon, and this is my friend, is much more famous than I am. I wouldn't go that far, but I'm John Green, co-host of the podcast, The Away End, with

my old friend Daniel, on our podcast The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football. Coming up to the 2026 World Cup, together, we'll find out why of all the unimportant things,

football, soccer, is the most important.

Listen to The Away End with Daniel Alarcon and John Green, on the eye-harp radio app, apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Daniel Jeremiah, and I am Greg Rosenball. I know that, Greg. We're teaming up on 40s and free agents, the podcast that owns the NFL off season.

This is where teams are built, free agency, combine, produce, trade, every move matters. From my draft boards and mock drafts, to my vented top 101 free agents and how rosters come together. Quarterback movement, surprise signings, we'll tell you what it means, and who really wins.

Open your free-eye-harp radio app, search 40s and free agents, and listen now. You are listening to The Dan Patrick, show on Fox Sports Radio. Now we're two on this Monday, gangs all here, best in worse to the weekend, what you saw that you liked. You didn't like UConn, grad, Ray Allen, we'll join us coming up in a little bit.

I think you got roughed up on social media because his t-shirt was too tight that he was

wearing, raising great shape.

I don't know if anybody could be real critical of Ray Allen with the tight t-shirt.

The Minister of Humor Fritzi is here, sheeten, marv, poly, sheeten, and marv, UConn fans, pulling for UConn tonight, Todd, you're pulling for, I'm pulling for Michigan all just to mix things up a little bit, not that Michigan hasn't had a share of winning in their storied franchise. Holy would about you.

UConn, okay. That was the poll question from hour one, who are you rooting for, sheeten would you update the results from hour one? Yeah, Dan right now, uh, Dan Nation, as it were, uh, about 56% rooting for Michigan. It's pretty close.

Okay. Yeah. I'm fine with that. Yeah. I did wonder, when did we go from 920 Eastern to 850, uh, I was told 850 was a started last year.

So then I check with my college basketball source, I said, my, he says, teams involved in the game, or typically, a typically Eastern in central time zones, thus it's made sense to move the championship game earlier, also the games were running long. You want to kind of time it out, getting into local programming as well, and the viewership of staying up that late on a school night, but the National title game, UConn is a six and

a half point underdog. I was curious about the over under, because as I mentioned, if it's a 63 possession game, if that's the total, or it's under that, Michigan is vulnerable. That's proven this year, 63 62 possessions total, Michigan is vulnerable. The over under for tonight's game from draft Kings is 144 and a half.

If you can keep it in the 60s, Connecticut will win, I think.

If it gets into mid to upper 70s or low 80s, it feels like this is Michigan's game. 8773DP show email address dpadampatric.com, Twitter handle at dpshow, congratulations. That was an old by the way, National Championship for UCLA, only because the spotlight was on Connecticut and South Carolina, in particular, the two coaches, but hey, UCLA, that was no fluke. They dominated, dominated South Carolina, and it certainly felt like South Carolina

Was playing its national title game against Connecticut.

Robert won the NIT, I'm about a round of applause for Auburn, also Adam, would you rather win

the NIT or a play in or first round the game in March Madness, so you make the tournament

and you play on like a Tuesday or Wednesday night, you win that game, but then you lose your next game. See? Well, I was actually wondering where the crown is and all of that, there's another tournament called the Crown tournament. Oh, yes, now there's a third tier tournament or

is that the second tier and NIT is moved down now. Well, didn't there used to be a CBI?

Yeah, they took the year off. Oh, they did. Yeah, okay. We'll be okay, though. All right, so you can win the NIT or you could win your first round playing game. Yes, time. I think I want to be in the regular tournament, no one's really thinking about the NIT. You want to see your name on the brackets, even if it's an early exit, I'm in the dance, you know, as opposed to any other day, one. Well, the money aspect of that, I don't know what

you get to for winning the NIT. The NIT was the original tournament. Yes, it was. That used to be the

big one, but you're winning a, you're getting a couple million dollars for that first win in March

Madness. I don't know what you get for the NIT, so for a round of applause of the Dan Patrick show.

Yes, Marvin. I do like the fact that they play the NIT final at the Hoosiersfield House. I can't

think of the name of it. Hankl. Hankl. Love that part, but far as the NIT, now you could have it. Good morning. If you're watching on peacock, that's our streaming partner of the NBC Sports Network or listening on our radio affiliates around the country. By the way, I got college basketball title odds for next year. The team that is favored to win it all next year, college basketball. Marvin. Duke. Yes. Why'd you take all the suspense out? Just the way they run things,

they're going to reload. Florida is second, followed by Arizona, Michigan State, Michigan, Kansas,

Illinois, Houston, Arkansas, and Connecticut. I'm sure Dan Hurley loves that. It's like, okay, sing. You know, play for national championship tonight. And I talked to Ian Eagle, be on the call tonight for TBS. Seattle. For some reason, I'm thinking CBS. Yeah. But it's TBS. But it's been that way for a little while. Just in my mind, I keep thinking it's CBS. When you get a bigger number on CBS than CBS, it's like, if you have a game on ESPN or you have a

game on ABC, college football. But I don't know. I'm sure my college basketball source will text me on that. We did invite genorem on Don Staley. Just to see if they wanted to talk about this. Geno did issue a statement and apologizing. I wish that he would have mentioned Don Staley's name because he didn't. And that's a glaring omission. Whoever is helping him write this, curate this, you got to put in Don Staley in there. You do. Just PR-wise,

but he didn't, you know, apologize basically to South Carolina, the staff, the players. But that was, I was a bad moment, bad moment. And that's where you're winning 54 consecutive games and all of a sudden you realize you're not better than South Carolina that night.

And I think that's where what he said and how he said it was out of frustration, maybe desperation,

you were not going to beat South Carolina. Does that was a great, great team effort. And then all of a sudden people forgot about UCLA. Well, if you beat Connecticut, you're going to beat UCLA. And Lauren Bets, that team, that's a veteran team and they played really well, they dominated. All right, pull question for our two is going to be one so you know, Connor. We got two up there right now for our two. Hold, please. Tonight's game,

Michigan rolls. Michigan wins a tight one. You can rolls. You can win a tight one. That's from Todd. Here's another one from Todd too. Expanding the NCAA tournament further beyond 68 teams is greedy and unnecessary. Fantastic. More teams or it doesn't matter. I'm watching. Yeah, they got us. I mean, who cares if they add eight more teams? It doesn't matter. It's Tuesday and Wednesday. This is what we've talked about all year long. They're going to do it.

They're just going to extend that opening round. And you're going to have, you know, full more games. Nobody's going to complain about that. And then you're going to get your bracket and you're

Going to be fine.

and you're ready to go. Is it, is it greed? You can say all the college, you know, football and basketball

is greed. Certainly football. And yes, it's all about money. Yeah, Paul. It was 2011 when the

NCAA tournament expanded with the first four. And there's a lot of blowback. But they almost

stumbled into something. They're able to expand the tournament without changing the tournament. Yeah. They still have 64. Your bracket still looks the same. They're still one versus 16. And they found like a loophole to add teams without changing it. Let's get a couple of phone calls in here. Uh, boot in San Francisco, good morning. Boota. Best in worse to the weekend. Still in France, DP. Speaking of chain smokers, happy Monday boys. I got a couple of bars for

UDP. I heard you an hour one on going, going back to back to Cali, Cali, last day here. And I'm not going to lie. I'm going to miss these three p.m. Call in Dan. I'm not going to lie. It's been

nice. But I digress. Uh, but so the weekend. And I hesitate to bring this up. But, uh,

Michigan, putting the smack down on Arizona and a fantastic fashion. I mean, I feel like Arizona and Zagar like the serial bracket plus series, like the charges of the college basketball world. And I hope, I hope you can't took it out. It's Marvin. That's all I got to say. And worst of the weekend, Dan, my band up later is as a whole. And I mean, to bring this up. I mean, did you watch Brownie this weekend run the point? If he was, it was wild. He looked at by this comfortable

as, you know, Fritz, he getting out of the sausage costume in Milwaukee. Like, I mean, he was getting mud up the court. I mean, he's been really questioning why Mac McClone doesn't have it. He doesn't have one spot on an NBA bench anywhere. Thank you, Buda. Save travels back. Yeah, I'm watching, uh, don't, I mean, the leakers are cooked. You know, he got Reeves who's out for the rest of the regular season with an oblique. He got Luca going to Europe for some kind of

treatment, probably also to see his children with his estranged girlfriend or fiance, um, who knows when he's coming back. And let's see. I've been informed that the TBS gets the final four every other year, Turner paid the majority of the money in the media agreement, the original agreement with Turner and CBS was done. Now that Paramount is likely to own Warner Brothers Turner, it'll be interesting to see if they move it to CBS for the balance of the agreement.

Forgot all about that. That big merger that they had. Chris and Syracuse. Good morning, Chris. What's on your mind? Hey, thanks, Dan. I got a fast comment, a possible Vegas name. Uh, my best Michigan plane for a national title tonight. And I know if Michigan wins tonight,

it'll be the first time in 26 years since a big 10-square won a men's national title in basketball.

And I wonder if ever the big 10-one national titles in both men's and women's in the same year. And her to believe, if you're playing the career salary game in the NFL, the answer to who is number two is Kirk Cousins Unreal. If that's true, he may not be the best quarterback of all time, but he's arguably the best businessman of all time. And Dan, I have a Las Vegas name to throw in the hopper and hard to believe Dan, but I'll shock it. It's from one

of my favorite movies to Las Vegas rounders. Okay. All right. Well, Matt Damon have him show up.

I mean, nice. Ed Norton, get them. Ryan in Detroit. Hi, Ryan. What's on your mind?

Hey, thanks for calling me back, Dan. Yeah. I got a fast and a worse and then a pull question to Justin. Last is Gina or Emma. That was bad. My best. I'm actually squeezing a spin to the weekend is Ryan Eagles rap about the Robo delivery. That was housing trouble. And then my pull question is which, which bill raffery slogan is the best? Is it onions

with a kiss or laundry on the deck? I like onions. I mean, yes, I always like that. I saw one of

those robots when we were in San Francisco in our hotel. And at night, they were plugged in late at night. Well, actually early morning, because we were getting up really early to do the show, but the Super Bowl, I'm sorry, the big game. And they were plugged in into like together in a wall outlet. And I saw one of them come up the, I'm on the elevator. And I'm on with one of those little robots. And I realized that there are two floors. And I know that he, he doesn't get out or she

Doesn't get out when he, she's supposed to or it's supposed to.

robot there? Look underneath like it. I could, I didn't know the robot that much. That

well, it. And I realized that it didn't get off the floor. And it got off late and it banged

into the door. And I, like, I felt bad for the robot, but I'm like, dude, you better get out of here. I don't know if he can hear, you know, they can hear me. And it banged into the door. And I thought, oh, so I was going up to my floor. And then the robot was still on. I don't know what happened on the way back down. Yeah, Todd. I saw one in LA crossing the street and it got stuck in a puddle. And it was just kind of going in circles. So I don't know if I should like get involved somehow

and just kind of move it on its way and help it cross the street. As these people wait for their

food to maybe never get delivered. Easy, three piece. Get your hands off me, Todd. Creep.

Matt and Riverside. Then we'll take a break. Ray Allen said to Jonas. Hi, Matt. Hey, I'll be going happy Monday to you. And the boys got a best and worst. Best is seeing

Manchester City kind of cake Liverpool out of the FA Cup for Nill and then also see Arsenal crash

out worse the weekend. A-R-I-Z-O and A-M-I Wildcats looked like zombies on Saturday. But I'm going to go ahead and blame the basketball court and also playing in the stadium. Can we just get away from that and also the winner classic being in baseball stadium? Kind of take the lore of fans being close up to the court. Yeah, but that's not going away with these big stadiums. They they want that revenue. But thank you, Matt. Thank you. Yeah, they want 72,000 in there.

Yes, Marvin. I was looking at the prices for bad seats in the stadium.

$400,500. First section 600? Yeah, Paul. It's like as a fan of one of those two teams,

you just want to say you are there and you'll eat the bad game experience. We'll take a break. More fun calls coming up. Best in worst of the weekend, Ray Allen,

Connecticut fan, alum. He was there yesterday over the weekend. So we'll talk to Ray.

And we'll give you our best in worst of the weekend coming up right after this. Louis Hamilton, Krapikhorne Sun, Cancer Moon, wouldn't you know it? Michael Schumacher is also a Capricorn Sun Cancer Moon. The story of the sportsman's consequential driver strike. We have one man who upon hearing that he was going to be fired, freaked out and apparently climbed out the window of the bathroom. And was Dan or Ricardo's illustrious F1 career a success story, a cautionary tale, or some combination of both. He started getting all of this

attention and he may be started to think, "I'm bigger than this. I'm better." And plenty of other mishab scandals and sagas that have made Formula One a delightful, decadent, dumpster fire for more than 75 years. Listen to no grip on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I'm John Green. You may know me as the author of the Faulkner stars, and now, I guess also as the co-host of The Away and a brand new world soccer podcast.

I'm Daniel Alargonne, a writer and journalist, and John and I have known each other since we were kids. My first World Cup was Mexico 86. I was nine years old. I watched every game and I fell in love. On our new podcast The Away and we'll share with you the magic of International Football all leading up to the 2026 World Cup. For us soccer football is a story we've shared for over 30 years since Daniel was the star player on our high school soccer team very debatable. And I was

there most loyal and sometimes only fan. I love this game. I love its history, its hope, its heartbreak, and above all its beauty. Together we'll find out why of all the unimportant things football,

soccer is the most important. Listen to The Away and with Daniel Alargonne and John Green

On the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

I'm Daniel Jeremiah, and I'm Greg Rosenthal. And this is 40s and free agents. The games

may be over, but the NFL never stops. This is my favorite part of the calendar.

Yeah, my two-grade free agency, the combine. The NFL draft protease trades. This is where teams reshape their future. This is where Daniel Jeremiah makes his money on 40s and free agents. We break down every move that actually matters. For my draft evaluations, mock drafts and team fits to my top 101 free agents and how real rosters are built, cap space, contracts, and all the tough decisions included. You got quarterbacks on the move. We got teams rebuilding. It's

hope season. Yeah, absolutely. It's hope season. We'll tell you what's real, what's noise, and what it means for your favorite team. Smart analysis, real conversations every week. Ah, not about the smart, but definitely analysis. Listen to 40s and free agents on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hello, gorgeous. It's Lala Kent. Post of unjuditionally Lala. My days of filling up

cups at Sir may be over, but I'm still loving life in the valley. Life on the other side of the hill is giving grown-up vibes, but over here on my podcast, I'm traditional Lala. I'm still that Lala. You either love or love to hate. I've been full on oversharing with fans, family, and former friend of me's right-time shorts. I had a little bone to pick with shorts. When he came on the pod, you don't feel bad that you told me I was a bootleg housewife. I was flipped a pizza in your

lap. Oh, god, I literally forgot about that until just now. Sorry. I don't want to, I don't want to blame all of that. I got to blame that one on the alcohol. This is about laughing and learning when life just keeps on my thing. Because I'm in mistakes so that you guys don't have to. We're growing, we're thriving, and yes, sometimes we're barely surviving, but we do it all with love. It's unruly, it's unafraid, it's untraditionally Lala. Listen to untraditionally Lala on the iHeart

Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Ladies proposed tournament structure, which appears likely to be the final plan. Is 76 teams from what I'm told, and will be announced later this month, and in effect, for the men's and women's tournaments coming up next year. By the way, Yukon is now covered 17 of its last 18 tournament games, and goes into tonight's game as a 6.5

point underdog. Former Yukon grade Hall of Famer, Ray Allen, joining us from Indianapolis, how nervous are you? I, my nervousness existed when we played Michigan State,

because your plan is those squad that always come prepared. So back then, I was nervous.

I guess, because Duke was, it's not the best team in the country, I started that game thinking, you know, we play our best than we have a chance, and so I wasn't third nervous then, and it's those those games that get through slipped into cracks like we lost the crate in the market during the year and I was like, okay, we dropped the bomb there and those two games. So it's really always been about how Yukon played for me, and if they come playing a full cylinder,

it's hard for anybody to beat them. But also, I mentioned Michigan once this game in the 80s.

Connecticut probably needs this game to be in the 60s. How does Connecticut do that?

Well, it's interesting because there's a, if you watch Michigan, they get ball out of net and

they run. That has typically been historically how Yukon has always played. We've been an up

tempo, fast break type of team. If you watch the game against Illinois, whenever we have those scoring routes, the three balls not falling and say terrorist read isn't really scoring, but what you also notice is when we do get stopped, because defensively we've been solid. We never pushed the ball up the floor. We're playing against the five men set defense every single time, and it makes it more difficult, especially when at this time of the year, in the tournament,

when you got really good defensive teams, they're going to take what terrorists read is doing away from us. They're going to trail care band and make sure they get a hand in space. So in the sense, we have to be able to engage in that fast break up tempo game with Michigan in the same token

beat them at their own game. Wow, because I remember Indiana did that against the UNLV when Steve

Alfred was playing and everybody said, oh, Indiana can't run with UNLV, but Indiana ran with UNLV ended up winning the title. Does Yukon have the talent to run this and play a game in the 80s, go toe to toe that way with Michigan? Yeah, and remember, we don't have to be a better team

In Michigan.

them toe for toe. So when they get to ball the net and they run, don't then slow to gain down and

then come up and set up a set, because I do think we have such an interesting office of movement, what a ball is. You figure the way it's transformed from one side to the next side and the next side. And you know, you can make the case that, you know, so much movement that, you know, you're how many guys can shoot in that quick of a motion that from 3.9 to be so consistent. So to be able to get that scoring opportunity and transition off a rebound, that's some of the best

times to get three pointers. You know, I'm transition where some of my drives, it's a hold and then kick it out to a standstill shooter. If I said there was an alumni game prior to the national title. No, I know it is going. Yeah. So I got Michigan versus Yukon, all the alum who are at the game tonight. So I got Fab Fives there who wins an alumni game. Are we talking about just the guys that are somewhat in attendance? Are we talking about his story? No, the best we predicted.

Just those who were there. Oh. No, we're talking about he's playing their pride. No, no, right now. All right, now, right now we'll get him. Because. Well, I mean,

you have to say, you know, all the five, five are over to me. So, so now I would be a

sacrificial lamb because, you know, we'll negate ourselves because we're older, we're in our 50s. But then you, you got it, mecca, okay, four there. You got Sebastian, if you're there, you got Rob, Rob, Rob, right there. You got Kim Bo Walker there. So you're talking about guys that could still play, potentially really in the NBA right now. Okay. All right. What do you see? Now, let me take you back to you stayed three years at Connecticut. Yeah. Okay.

But given today's NBA, you probably would leave after a year, like Braille and Mullins to me,

I don't know if he stays because he'll be projected to be a first round pick in today's NBA,

you know, you got these guys who want to get into that second contract. And like, you know, read shepherd with Houston. He wasn't ready, but then they give you a couple of years to develop. So do you see that kind of as the scenario with Mullins that you're one and done, even though you may not be ready for the NBA? Yeah, because college, there's so much instability on that team. The next year, that's why when the caravan came back,

I was excited for him. And, you know, one would say, I don't know where his draft stock is, but the fact that he's playing in the national championship, you know, good on him, the congratulations, because he's one of now the winningists players all time in college. I don't know where he ranks, but he's up there with with some of the best. So it's hard to make that discernment from who was actually going to be on your team next year, because the transfer portal

opens up, I think, tomorrow. Yeah. So what's going to be available? Who's going to lead teams?

And so now Brellin has to make that decision based on what his squad may look like next year.

And obviously, we always say now with these head coaches, you got to recruit your own team back,

you know, figure out what you're going to be building for next year. So Brellin definitely has to take that into consideration. I do personally, I think that, you know, after my sophomore year was, you know, I'd score 36 in turn because UCLA, the Mitchell National Championship in 96 or 95. And everybody there with Blurves will be leaving and it was a different time then. And I was like, no, I need to come back to really kind of poke my chest a little bit and kind of

prove that, you know, I'm one of the better. It's not the best player in college, which I was able to do. So I have my junior years, no way I was making my senior here. So I think Brellin depending on the circle that's around him and his ability to kind of think to this process and in bed on himself, it does depend on that tremendously. It does depend on the family life, it depends on his relationship with, with Coach Hurley, how strong that is. And, you know,

his ability to come back to say, hey, I think I could be even better player and get drafted

the top five, it's not number one next year. So I'm talking to Ray Allen, Hall of Famer, Yukon alum played three seasons for the Huskies. How would you have done with Danny Hurley's style of coaching? I love his style of coaching. He's similar to Kaho, you know, he, he rides hard for his players. He stays on him. He coaches you hard. We're in a, we're in an era of basketball that I've seen, you know, I coached in high school. If you say anything negative

to the players and the kids assume that you don't like them. Yeah. And then the parents are sending

You emails and they're having conversations with the athletic director and tr...

to, you know, put their thumb on you and, you know, with, with, with Hurley, coaches come to him and the parents say, and I, I heard this would Brellin's dad, I needed somebody to coach Brellin Hart because he's going to get the best out of him. And guys that want that,

they come to Yukon. I wanted it, you know, Kaho, I, I saw Kaho in the first couple of practices.

Then it's coaching staff and I saw how hard he went and how, um, for Rochessey was his coach of practice. And I said, remind me not to do that thing that that player did. You know, and it's, it's very easy to pay attention. If you hold yourself accountable and you just work as hard, you can't, you have nothing to worry about. Help me understand the t-shirt that you got roughed up on social media for. The t-shirt? Yeah. What t-shirt? They said that you were wearing a

tight t-shirt. Me? Yeah. Oh, that's just my muscles, my muscles. You know, you know, I'm, I'm, I'm putting no packing on the, the muscles, I didn't have things. So if somebody had something to say about my t-shirt, they were just, wow. Wow. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, what are you 50? I'm 50. Yeah. I'm 50. And, um, I think it's time to get rid of the tight t-shirts. I mean, I'm just, I don't wear tight t-shirts. I just wear shirts. I know that, that, that I like

going comfortable in. So somebody else deems some tight. That's those people's securities. Wow. Okay. So that's my insecurity event. Yeah. See, because you're right now that, who do you got on? Looks like it's a double to a triple extra large. We can get you a some of those smaller. Are you wearing that new con sweatshirt tonight? Not this when I have something else.

Something tighter. See, when you're going to find the four. Yeah. Yeah. Here's the thing about

finding four. Uh, you, you need a hoodie that says GDP on it. Uh, the great impact. Oh. But when you

come to find a four, first of all, a week before nobody knows who's going to be here. You know,

it just kind of happened. So you pack, you know, with the optimism of, I'm going to be here for four days. And they get your hotels because you have to get a hotel for four days. You can't just buy from one or two. So either if we lose on one Saturday, um, I overpacks. And then being here still today, you had to figure out, okay, did I pack enough? So you kind of have to kind of run it back a little bit here and there. Uh, what was tough for facing Irish and in college or in the NBA?

Uh, both. You know, there wasn't really a difference. Um, in the John Thompson, you know, let Irish and go. He let him play his game and, you know, all those guys, you know, book our aisle with Bella, uh, the different supporting Cassie had going to the sixers with Airbnb and Eric Snow. Like all those guys knew who Alan Ivison was and they catered there offense to him. So it was hard on both levels to stop him. Because he knew exactly what he

was. And he played his game similar at both levels. And obviously, when he got to the NBA,

you know, they built teams around him again. And we were trying to figure out, I think I got

really adapted understanding who he was, you know, his moves because I played a lot against him and play out basketball. So statistically, I knew where scoring zones were, you know, the moves he wanted to make. But it still was hard to stay in front of him because he was so small that he didn't get in gaps. And, you know, he moved up and down the floor. And there wasn't a shot that he didn't like. Or for that matter that he couldn't, or that he couldn't take. You're right. Yeah.

I keep seeing these stories now about how dirty John Stockton was. Like guys are reminiscing about facing Stockton and, you know, whether it's Gary Peyton or Baron Davis and was Stockton

dirty to you? Well, he Stockton was, is always my example to the young people. When I said,

you look at John Stockton, you asked what physical attributes did he possess that you would look at and say, this guy is a beast. The thing that I learned for Stockton is he did the simple thing over and over again.

That attend passes one might be behind the back pass. He set the hardest screens. And, and I think

to what people would be alluding to with him is he would, when he set the cross screen on, for call alone. And that was he would pass the ball to the cut across land. He set the screen. And he did two things really well. One, obviously he set the screen really well. But occasionally he would grab your, your jersey that holds you. Or if you try to run them over, then he'd fall. And then you'd get the, the, the, the foul. So he was really a depth at planning game. And because he was small,

nobody expected him or thought that he could out overpower you or, or athletically beat you, but he played the game smartly. And so he's a great example to lesson for young people that you don't have to have

This highly skilled physical ability to be an all star, be one of the all tim...

example of that. How does it play out tonight, Ray? Well, I mean, there's a couple different

scenarios for you kind of think that we have to make sure that we have a good start. And we can't have those little scoring droughts throughout the game because Michigan is not going to give us any reprieve. So if, if you see a caraband score early, get to the free-to-line, get to the whole same thing with soloball, then it's going to be a close game and it's going to be a tough night for Michigan. But if we, we start early and it's like a 70, 90 game where we're not scoring and they're attacking,

then we're going to be on our hill. Hills on night, which we still are capable of staying with the

game as we seem to get to do. Well, you run out on the floor a few conwinds. I walk. I think in those moments,

I try to my best to stay out of the way because this is obviously it's not about me. But in those times, in when history tells the story to be able to say that I was there to other players that passed, played at Yukon at one championship. To be on that floor, it speaks to the legacy of the program. And so from that aspect, it's important for me to be out there just to show the future generation, kids that come to Yukon, like this is a brotherhood that you want to be a part of. So if you work hard,

this is a place that you want to be. Have fun tonight. Thanks for joining us. GDP. Yeah, GDP, the great damp patch. Thank you, Ray Ray. All right. That's Ray Allen. Yeah, and Yukon. Yukon score Hall of Famer. Yes, Mark. So you're the notorious GDP. I think that gets what I'm going to go with here. I'm just dropping bars here. Yes, Paul. I love race for response. Like people were goofing on his snug shirt all weekend. If you're 50 and look like that, you wear tight shirts. By the way,

Including the astrology of the current grid. Louis Hamilton, Crap The Corn Son, Cancer Moon, wouldn't you know it? Michael Schumacher is also a Capricorn son, Cancer Moon. The story of the sports most consequential driver strike. We have one man who, upon hearing that he was going to be

fired, freaked out and apparently climbed out the window of the bathroom. And was Daniel Ricardo's illustrious F-1 career a success story, a cautionary tale, or some combination of both. He started getting all of this attention and he may be started to think, "I'm bigger than this. I'm better." And plenty of other mishaps, scandals, and sagas that have made Formula One a delightful, decadent, dumpster fire for more than 75 years.

First World Cup was Mexico 86.

And I was their most loyal and sometimes only fan. I love this game. I love its history. Its hope, its heartbreak, and above all its beauty. Together we'll find out why of all the

unimportant things football soccer is the most important. Listen to The Away and with Daniel

Iler Cone and John Green on the I-Hard Radio App, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Daniel Jeremiah, and I'm Greg Rosenthal. And this is 40s and free agents.

The games may be over, but the NFL never stopped. This is my favorite part of the calendar.

Yeah, my two Greg, free agency, the combine. The NFL draft protease trades. This is where teams reshape their future. This is where Daniel Jeremiah makes his money on 40s and free agents. We break down every move that actually matters. For my draft evaluations, mock drafts and team fits

tough decisions included. You got quarterbacks on the move. We got teams rebuilding. It's

help season. Yeah, absolutely. It's help season. We'll tell you what's real, what's noise,

and what it means for your favorite team. Smart analysis, real conversations every week. Ah, not about the smart, but definitely analysis. Listen to 40s and free agents on the I-Hard Radio App, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hello, gorgeous. It's Lala Kent. Post of untraditionally Lala. My days of filling up cups, it's there. Maybe over. But I'm still loving life in the valley. Life on the other side of the hill

is giving grown-up vibes. But over here, on my podcast, untraditionally Lala, I'm still that Lala. You either love or love to hate. I've been full on oversharing with fans, family, and former frenemies like Tom shorts. I had a little bone-to-pick with shorts when he came on the pod. You don't feel bad that you told me I was a bootleg housewife? I was flipped a pizza in your

lap. Oh, god, I literally forgot about that until just now. Sorry, I don't want to

want to blame all of that. I got to blame that one on the alcohol. This is about laughing and learning when life just keeps on my thing. Because I'm a mistake so that you guys don't have to. We're growing, we're thriving, and yes, sometimes we're barely surviving. But we do it all with love. It's unruly, it's un Afraid, it's untraditionally Lala. For those of you who think Dan Hurley is intense, you didn't see Jim Calhoun. Because you'll get people who were there, played for, or fan. Jim Calhoun was more intense than Dan Hurley, believe it or not. But you didn't have social media back then. But Jim Calhoun, he could surprise you a little bit, but he'd get talking so fast and he had that accent, and you couldn't understand what he was saying. He probably avoided 50 technicals in his career,

because the official had no idea what he was saying. He'd get talking so fast and he would have, you know, that New England Irish Brog or whatever it was, and be like, I don't know what he said, sounded mad. Let's say, "Oh, you know, I love the sound of sports."

That's why I got into radio. I love the sounds. Here is the sound that, well, it's different than

any other sound. Show it. This one has drilled that center field for get about it. Show hey,

old Tony with a missile in DC gives them the first lead. I love it.

And just because I grew up listening to sports on radio, certainly baseball and radio, and there's certain sounds that you could have. Well, that's a bass hit, or that pop-up, oh, that's a home run. And if you're just sitting there as a little kid, ten years of age, listen on transistor radio, and all of a sudden you hear this. Show it. Yeah. It's like dad, Johnny Bench, this homework.

Sounds awesome. All right. Let's go around the room, see what we learned. Are you your best and worst of the weekend? What did you learn this weekend, Todd? It was your best and worst. My best in what, nine-time gold glove winner and angel special assistant to the GM, Tory Hunter called probably the greatest defensive game I've ever seen. Halo's right field of Joe Adele made three home run robbing catches against the marinas and

sadly night. That was fantastic. And worse of the weekend, also selling the much anticipated final four game between Michigan and Arizona, not much of a contest disappointed that Arizona couldn't keep pace with the Wolverines. Uh, Satan. Best in worst of the weekend. Yeah, my best of the weekend was as much as I hate to say at Michigan. They looked like an absolute force. My worst of the weekend, TV analysts who said that was supposed to be the real national title game because that was not even close.

Guy Fieri will win the celebrity bracket challenge if Michigan wins tonight. Marvin will win if Connecticut wins the national championship. Hmm. Uh, Frank Caliando is in first place, but he had Duke winning, Ross Tucker in second place. He had Arizona, Guy Fieri and me. Uh, Guy has Michigan. I had Arizona, Fritzzy in fifth place. He had Duke and Marvin six place with Connecticut. Good luck to all of you. Marvin, best in worst of the weekend. My best of the weekend,

the Michigan Fab five, the Altcast during the Michigan Arizona game. They were great,

Chris Weber unbelievable stories. He's always great. Uh, worst of the weekend, Billy Donovan

leave the bulls now because they lost the next by 40 points over the weekend and they've lost seven straight games. No time like the president to go to North Carolina. I know, but he's been terrible in the NBA, right? Correct. All right. Average had best. And done anything. Now, I maybe this was

Never his element.

more. So this means Christian later should really be in the basketball hall of fame because he had

a great college career, average NBA career, Billy Donovan's already in the hall of fame.

Is he? He is. Good point. They put the coaches in. I don't understand that coaches cope can go in without any, you know, should chefs need to have anything with the NBA, they pay high in nothing with the NBA is oh, nothing with the NBA. But I mean, they can be one dimensional and go into the basketball hall of fame. Paul Beston worse to the weekend. You sell a basketball as they say a senior laden team. I love that phrase. It's hyphenated.

Great job. I you sell a basketball dominate this season. And then the other best having

Steph Curry back, you really missed that guy and to see his highlights, they never changed. The shots

you can't believe. Speaking of shots, Bill Simmons was taking a shot at some podcaster who was trying to, was he trying to compare LeBron and Steph and saying Steph was better than LeBron with his career. And then Bill Simmons called him a blank head. And basically said, this is the greatest moment of your life that I'm responding to you, that how can you make that? What, Marvin, was it LeBron versus Steph? I'm not sure. I've heard about this. Yeah,

I saw something on social media. I'm like, oh, Facebook. No, no, this, well, yeah, you know, I love Facebook. Spent most of the week in on Facebook. Looking for quarter Royals. They were arguing about quarter right patterns. If that stripes versus, yeah, I didn't stripes. No, no. Yeah. It's the greatest moment of your life me talking to quarter is value. It's why I like ruffles, you know, potato chips, you know,

they got the ridges. It's kind of like quarter Royals that you can eat. That's what ruffles

potato chips. That Bill Simmons is like, Genoa, I'm a moment where he should have been more gracious and stuff. So he shouldn't, but now people are like, yeah, boy. There was a segment Bill Simmons

was doing about great players, but that were never considered the best player in the league at

any point in their career. He named a bunch and Steph Curry was one of them. And some people were mad that he said Steph Curry was never considered the best player in the league. But I thought he was responding to somebody's podcast, maybe in the Bay Area and called him a bleep head. How dare you say that Steph is better than LeBron, maybe? I don't think I'm making it up. No, I'm reading it. There's a, there's language here. I can't give you.

Yeah, but is he, is he singling out some podcast? Yeah, a guy named Tommy Gun NBA Bill Simmons responded to them and he said, check out your own career, etc, etc. But is Tommy Gun saying Steph is better than LeBron or was better than LeBron? He's calling out Bill Simmons for saying that at no point in his career was Steph Curry the best player in basketball. Even his MVP here. A unanimous MVP. Okay, people got a lot of time on their hands, you know? It's like, I'm sorry,

I got other things to do. I can't, you know, seek out these battles or make up a battle here or a feud and argument and then call out somebody like that. Timmy and South Carolina, you know, hi, Timmy. How you doing? Good Tim. Yes, there's a film for South Carolina, 168th of steady, 178th, then. All right. All right, I just had a quick name for the Vegas all the time. I don't know how everybody

missed it, but some of us make us like the Vegas lights. The Vegas lights, that's not bad at all, Timmy. Yeah, seeing. So that's a great idea for Timmy. Unfortunately, there's a USL championship team named the Las Vegas lights. So what I would encourage, there's a soccer team already called the Las Vegas lights. I would encourage the new NBA franchise to buy the naming rights from that team, help fund them into the, for the next 10 years with those naming rights

and have them come up with a new team. That would be a win win. That would be a win win. That would be my suggestion. I like that. Yeah. All right. We can all win here. Everybody can win. There's enough for everybody. Yeah. The Vegas lights. I got a big light show to start. Maybe some sound of it. Maybe some smoke. All I know is the Golden Knights. That is a, that is a welcome to Golden Knights hockey in Vegas. Yes, Todd. I don't know if we've mentioned this, can't they be the

spheres and play their games inside the big globe there and make that the arena. It's big enough

to have a basketball court. I think spheres are tough to say. Las Vegas spheres. Is it fear?

Must be for me. I got the ass on top of another S. V. Sveer. Sveer. Sveer. Is our pH involved?

It's a pH.

to be able to pronounce it. Thank you, Todd. Two hours in the books on this Monday. We're going to

try to rally and do something meaningful in the final hour of the program right after this.
