“Ready for a different take on Formula One, look no further than no grip, a new podcast tackling”
the culture of motor racing's most coveted series.
Join me, Lily Herman, as we dive into the under-export pockets of F1, including the astrology of the current grid, the story of the sports most consequential driver strike, and plenty of other mishab scandals and sagas that have made Formula One a delightful, decadent, dumpster fire for more than 75 years. Listen to no grip on the eye-harp radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
A shocking public murder. This is one of the most dramatic events that really ever happened in New York City politics. A scream, good-down, good-down, blows a shot. A tragedy that's now forgotten, and a mystery, that may or may not have been political, that may have been about sex. Listen to Worshack, murder and city hall, on the eye-harp radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever
you get your podcasts. I'm Lori Siegel, and on my new podcast Mostly Human, I'll take you to some wild corners of the tech world.
I'm about to go on a date with an AI companion, and a real-world cafe right here near
City. There's no playbook for what to do when an AI model hallucinates a story about you. Mostly Human is your playbook for how tech can work for you. Anyone can now be an entrepreneur, anyone can build an app, and it's very empowering. Listen to Mostly Human on the eye-harp radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you listen
to your favorite shows. Try to keep up with everything happening on and off the court. We've got you covered on the podcast, Blagrant and Funny.
“You want to start with the first version from the big kid coach of the year?”
Oh, what? Do you like it? Yeah, show it. You're a Spartan. Is that what I mean?
Exactly. So whether your bracket is busted, or you just want the real talk on what's happening during the tournament, open your free eye-harp radio app, search Plagrant, and funny with Carrie Champion and Jamel Hill, and listen now. In 2023, Bachelor Star Clayton Eckard was accused of fathering twins, but the pregnancy
appeared to be a hoax. It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Great, the Westby End, I'm Anthony. My mind was blown.
I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trapped. You are listening to the Dan Patrick Shawan Fox Sports Radio. Hope you had a great weekend. Things all here ready to go hour two, Seth Greenberg, from the mothership, will join us
coming up momentarily, 877-3DP show, Best and worst of the weekend, what you saw that you liked. You didn't like operator Tyler sitting by. Good morning, if you're watching on peacock, or NBC Sports Network, download the app
if you haven't done so, and we'll have a new poll question for the second hour of this
program. See, would you recap what we had from hour one?
“You can continue hour one's poll question throughout the show if you want to.”
Yeah, yeah, we probably will. In terms of the Yukon Duke game, Yukon wanted or Duke Blue it. That's at about 81% Duke Blue it. I also put up there, are you superstitious, a little stitious or not stitious at all? Right now, most of the audience, 63% are a little stitious, followed by superstitious.
Not stitious at all, though, coming in with 15% of that vote. OK. Yeah. It feels like you're either super stitious, it's rarely you're just kind of stitious. Yeah, Paul.
I think little stitious is a great line by seat, and because that fits in that window, I'll break a mirror or walk under a ladder at the drop of time. But if I'm sitting in a seat, and my team is doing well, there's no reason to leave that seat. 8773DP show email address, dpadampatric.com, Twitter handle, dp show, the betting lines from
draft Kings for the final four, it's Illinois minus one and a half against Connecticut, Michigan, minus one and a half versus Arizona. Justin Gany has taken the NC State job. He was an assistant coach at Tennessee. I gave you the update on North Carolina, which is there's really no update.
I didn't know if these two coaches, you know, in the Michigan game, may and Lloyd could be on that list for North Carolina. I was told that they are not, that they're going to, I was told last night, Michigan is going to try to wrap up, uh, mate for a long, long, long time as they're head coach and rightfully so Billy Donovan apparently is still on the radar for North Carolina, haven't
Heard anything other than that.
Seth Greenberg of the mothership, former college basketball coach, thanks for joining us.
“I know you've been busy this morning, but walk me through what is said in both huddles”
with 10 seconds to go in the game. Let's start with Duke and what John Scheyer is probably saying to his players. Hey, read the ball to your hands, be strong with the basketball, catch, turn in face. Let's make sure we have good spacing. Let's not bring too many guys into the back court.
If we get trapped, let's have a man behind the ball and then let's have a man come to the middle of the floor, catch, turn face, look up the floor, all right, be strong with the basketball. If you can throw over the top and get a leg, that's fine. It's not just be strong with the ball and work to get up.
I don't stand on post, work to get open where you want to catch the ball. Okay.
“Now what is Danny Hurley saying to his players, we're going to try to get one good trap.”
One good trap, we're going to try to shoot the gap on the reverse pass. If the ball comes to the middle of the floor, all right, we're probably going to give the foul. What happened in it's early interesting, and then, you know, we want to give the foul early enough where we have a chance to get the basketball back.
Ideally, you want to foul-pack your gum, but we want to foul-sar, they're the two worst shooters, the ball came back to Tsar actually, and they were a little late getting to the trap, and you could see a little push at the end of it once through the ball, the official pass on that. I thought it was interesting that Demory, who missed the free throw, also got to the
flexion that created the turnover, but those are things that you're saying, like, you know, dance and look, we're going to press you to pass, let's force you to the corner, booze you did a good job of catching it, what I call them slot, and got that trap a good job to get rid of it early. The pass quit, Caden was right on the money, they had great spacing, they had people
behind it. They did everything right, Duke, and I feel for Caden because the kids had a monster season with all the injuries that they went through, the one thing, when you catch it, you turn, you face before you put them on the ground, and what he did was, as he turned, he put the ball on the ground, so now to make that pass, he had to collect the ball,
by that time, those hand pressure on the passer, they get to the flexion and steady just catching, fighting the pressure, waiting for the foul, I mean, it's hard for both of it, because without one play in John's shed, said it, 16, 0, 0, 10, 10 was in second half. I can't get out the score, Duke, 16, 0, second half, 8 to 2 on the glass. First half, Duke had 14 point second chance points, that's where the game was one, and
“that's what the relentlessness of you kind, just chipping away, chipping away, trying to make”
a play, and eventually they'd make four to last five threes. I thought Hurley was going to call a time out when they got this steel, were you surprised? It almost, no, I mean, I like to date, I like to let my guy, I don't want you to
set up, so now I've got you, we hope with an advantage, and it's always the trailing guy,
and you know, Mollon's given credit, and you know, he gave up the ball, but he was ready when he got it back, but I thought Hurley, you know, coaches loved a micro-manage, and I thought, you know, he might try to call a time out. Now with that much cotton, but it's almost like, you know, you got a broken shield, you know, in football, I mean, like there, it's a scrambled situation, so basically the two
guys on the deflection, they had two defenders behind the play, because the two guys that they were going to throw over to top two were on the side of the car, so in essence, you were four on three or five on four ahead of it. Now Alex Caraband, and I go over to watch those guys practice all the time, so I'm there a lot.
One of the great winners of all time, but how about the poise of Alex Caraband, he just knocked down to three, they get the turnover, Mone's passes it to him, he could have let that fly, but he had the poise to say, no, I'm going to throw back, he's got a better shot to see it in slow motion, make that pass, and if you watch Braille and Mone, I don't know if you guys have snapshots of it, his release on that shot was picture-freaking perfect.
I mean, his release looked like it was Rick Mow back in the day, I mean it was absolutely beautiful, and the poise they had in that moment was really impressive, going to practice
all the time, I always say you are your habits, and all the coaches are like, the John
Sharer, I've been in their film session John Sharer before game, where they literally go over NBA late game situations, and he quizzes his team on what were you thinking there, what was he thinking there, why did he say, so I mean, they're covering that, but then early on the other side, if you've been to his practices, he challenges every single possession
Every single day, and there's an accountability, every single, to face we sli...
the standard that he sets, which is an unrealistic standard, but those guys buy in and absolutely love the guy and they play for him. Yeah, and he's got juniors and seniors on that roster, and Mullins being the freshman there, talking to Seth Greenberg of ESPN, let me start with Michigan, and that's a grown-up team, man, that's a great team.
I don't want to play one freshman as well, they're old, physical, tough, long, athletic, can shoot it, share the ball, excellent passing thing, I mean, like you think about
“the Florida season, I think they were like 15, 6, I don't have any they want to enroll,”
they were playing, I made your games, top 20, top 10 games, and they would treat them like guaranteed games then, I mean, they were winning by 20 points, it was like, I felt bad, they were kicking in people's asses, and I'm surprised that the team that who's asses, they were kicking, should've gotten like $100,000, check it's a guaranteed game, I mean, they were just, they were just dominating people, then people settled and you get into
the league play, you know, obviously, dude got him, but figure it for a point, they are seven, four, a wing span, Yaxa Leinberg, seven, four, a wing span, a three, they can shoot the three, pass, make plays, more Johnson Carves out space, could've also been absolutely terrific, you got Gal, you got Burnett, you got McKinney, that's so many different pieces, but the way the ball moves and the energy the ball has, and then their ability
and their length defensively, man, I'll tell you, watching them yesterday was like watching a clinic, watching a highlight tape, you know, you're prepared for a game of a highlight
“tape of plays that you want your team to see, that's what the whole game was like yesterday,”
he's incredible, and I've watched Illinois throughout the year, now not religiously, but
I've watched them almost like every seven or 10 games, you know, and you know, they're big, they got, they got the kids from the Balkans, I mean, and I don't know if that's the future, everybody loves to go, well, what is the future, you know, you're going to get those players and bring them in and everybody else is going to do this, I don't know, but Illinois, Illinois, yeah, Illinois is not one of those Cinderella stories, into
Illinois, is a really, really impressive team. Yeah, they've got a lot of bitches on your team, with a big, out of beat, I mean, they got a lot of bitches, I mean, and those guys know how to play in their older, I mean, you know, bitches, brothers, they're older, they're older, they're older, they've been coached hard, they're whole lives, they're highly skilled, they're about winning, they're
about embracing roles, then you got like Boswell, walkler, I mean, like, while they're the way he just deploys, he play, he looks like to me, and maybe I'm wrong, Jay, those things he's Terry's Halbert, especially when he set that step back three, where he kind of got himself behind the line, he reminds me a little bit of Curry, like that big face is, he's a much taller, that logo range, the middle game, the floaters, they're really talented, they're
very good passing team, I thought their poise in a second half was incredibly impressive,
I thought they went inside the V-chip back to back, and then started out, but she never
settled, she's just getting, you know, she's kind of the opposite of his dad, yeah, yeah. His dad was like pull up, bam, knock down jumpers, and of course you got to have a blick of Terry every single game they play, you got to have the pages shot, so automatic, you're going to have the one page shot, like set at the end of his chair, like, you know, root of the sun on, which is really cool, but they're really talented, they've got legitimate
size, they've got legitimate bet, they can bring home a house in Davis, you know, at times off the bench, they're a really good basketball team, and are really well conceived,
“and a really cool story, 'cause Brad, I remember, I started as a junior college coach,”
you know, he's coaching with his son, and we have to share that with his son, you know, to me, as a guy, he had three daughters, but your family lives and dies each and every day with you, but they share it with your son like that, good cool, Arizona, you know, they came out of the gate, and I go, this is a deep Arizona team when I saw them early in the season, and, you know, they've, they've been great wired wire with jumps out at
you. David's daughters, you think about it, bring a Dell or so off the bench, they bring a walk
off the bench, you know, Jay Bradley's incredible leader, a great clutch player down the
stretch, he makes plays, buries one another one of the great freshmen again, can get to spots, he's like a one man fast break, Cruz does the things around the basket that you need to be done, you look at our, card chunk of his, like for the Michigan game, like defensively, they, you know, that matchup is going to be really, really interesting, because he can guard
Absolutely anyone, the physicality of the front court, and the matchups in th...
court in this game, is they're going to be absolutely incredible, I mean, it's only
“way to describe it, it's going to be incredible, this is a nice little championship game,”
this is a game, both teams are going to get up and down, this is a game that's going to be fiercely competitive, Tommy Lloyd is just calm, when, when Caesar rough is anyone I've ever seen, I mean, like, we were there when I was state went on 14-0 run, I grabbed them after the game, I said, Tommy, 14-0 run, you didn't call time out, he said, yeah, I'm not a very smart coach, but they need to sometimes figure stuff out on their own.
His poise as a coach is incredible, he, he deflects everything, it's about the kids, he, he's a, you know, he's a byproduct of, of, of Mark few, but he also does it, his own way, so impressive the job he has done, and, and that line up, their roster is, is really, really good, I mean, that, that's the difference, the bench, I know I walk, I don't know if he's going to pass the ball, but that, that dude looks like a tight end to me.
Great stuff as always, thanks for joining us, Seth.
Thanks for having me, appreciate it, start about to mix up for earlier on. No worries, no worries, Seth Greenberg and the mothership, former college, Banskemon Coach, yeah, we were going to have him last hour, and then I saw him on the S.P. and I said, "Fritzy, I don't think Seth is going to join us," and then he goes, yeah, he's just getting back to us that he needs to do it next hour, I thought, okay, unless Mike Greenberg and Seth
wanted to join us last hour, then I would have done that as well, we could have brought Greening in. All right, we'll come up with a poll question for our two, more of your phone calls as we always do, best and worst of the weekend, and that North Carolina job just kind of lingering there, and I keep wondering, is, are we waiting for somebody who's still coaching to go
to North Carolina, now that could still be Billy Donovan who is coaching the Chicago Bulls
“because from what I'm told he is still on their radar, he has not said no, that's what”
was pointed out to me, he has not said no to that job, but yeah, you're just kind of trying to, and then you got the Kansas situation with Bill Self. This is what I told you last week, North Carolina doesn't want to lose somebody if somebody's going to take over for Bill Self, so you want to be ahead of that and get your guy instead
of the second guy on the list, we'll take a break, we're back after this Dan Patrick

Each week, I'll speak to the people building that future, and we're going to break down what all of this innovation actually means for you. What I come to realize is that when people think that they're dating these AI companion,
they're actually dating the companies that create this. We're experiencing one of the greatest tech accelerations in human history. And let's be honest, that can be messy. There's no playbook for what to do when an AI model hallucinates a story about you. But it's my belief that we should all benefit from this moment.
Mostly human will show you how. My goal is to give you the playbook, so you can benefit. The reason I say agency is because, like, if you can give power back to people, then I think

Probably an odd thing to be thinking about yesterday is I'm watching Illinois play. Asia's Stoyoccavitch's son, Andre is on Illinois, and he went to Cowell, and then transferred to Illinois. Fernando Mendoza went to Cowell, transferred to Indiana. That's the feeder school to, you know, the Midwest.
Cowell, hey, we'll take him for a little while development, and then we'll send him on their way, they can win a high-z minute or maybe go to the final four. Yeah, Pauling. You were a big page, a high-light guy, and I don't know the sports center day. I don't know if you called them, like you said, I'm calling them, but you called a lot
of them. I just thought he's an underrated great shooter of all time. And he'd be on the wing, and he was just a wonderful shooter, wonderful. Played with Sacramento. That's probably why he kind of got lost in the shuffle a little bit.
You know, they didn't win the big games, but he's on the short list of greatest shooters of all time. But his son is a physical player, like he's not like his dad, and his, and Paisha looks like he's still playing, like he came out of the stands, you know, hug his son, and like
Paisha could probably play for Illinois.
Some of those guys on Illinois look like their Paisha's age.
Yeah, Paul.
“It might be underrated as being first generation volume 3. shooter.”
Early in his career, he led the league in 3.04, he finished fourth for the MVP in 2004 with Sacramento. Arizona is going to the final four, having made 99 free throws so far in the tournament. It's 39 more than it's four opponents have even shot. Stat of the day brought to you by Penini, America.
You know, Michigan hasn't had necessarily a very good year considering everything that happened with the football team.
But the Michigan athletic director is he's going to wrap up Dusty May, and he told some
people that he is going to make sure his coach spends the rest of his coaching career with Michigan. Done a great job. Can't let him go.
“And wasn't he a trainer assistant manager for Indiana basketball?”
Yeah, Paul. Yeah, he was a student assistant for Indiana basketball. Oh, my goodness. What in the Lawrence Frank, one of those, like assistant manager, grad assistant type thing.
We touched on Tiger Woods just a little bit and he was having a good week because if you
go back to Monday, we were talking about, you know, TGL, the finals and he's going to show up. To take some swings, now people talking that maybe he's going to try to play at Augusta, so there was some momentum there. Now he didn't play well when he took those nine swings, but, you know, he's the focal point
of TGL. So at any time you can see Tiger play in the ratings probably quadruple just because Tiger was playing in that. Otherwise, we're probably not watching, but Tiger's in it in Roy, you know, those are the headliners here.
So he's got this momentum, all right, Tiger's getting some swings in. There was a picture of his private jet in Augusta recently that maybe he was going down there. He was going to walk the course, maybe he's going to play a little bit there, maybe Tiger was going to play in Augusta. And then there was Friday after noon.
All of a sudden you get a report that he's in a car accident, his car rolled over. Well, we know what happened when it rolled over before, where he had multiple fractures in his leg, thought he might lose his leg. We've had moments, we've had incidents, this one felt a little different from the standpoint of it was two in the afternoon, going through an area where I think the speed limit may
have been 25, and car rolled over, got out of the car on his own, and he took a breathalizer. He hadn't been drinking, but wasn't going to take a urine test or a blood test.
“So they take into the jail, so you have to be there for eight hours.”
And then you start to look at the mug shop and you go, that doesn't look like somebody who, "Okay, you haven't been drinking, but you don't have anything else in your body." So this has been a pattern, and this happens, it's weird to say, in fairness to Tiger, but you have all these surgeries, they give you all these meds. I've had many, many, many surgeries, probably 10, and I do my damnedest knowing my personality,
I can't take those things, because I know, boy, be easy, you know, with my personality, addictive behavior, I could grab that, and I understand that. I have had friends who have had back surgeries, and all of a sudden, you know, their crunch and percussive. But that, that, his body can look like it's ready to go and play in the NFL, but that
face, that looks like there's a lot of, a lot of things going on with Tiger. This has been going on for quite some time. You're driving, and, you know, once again, when you drink, or when you do drugs, you don't think that you're impaired, or that somebody's going to notice. Some of the great liars are drinkers, drug addicts, at least they try to lie to you.
But Tiger can't lie to himself anymore. People can only say so much or do so much, maybe his new girlfriend can help him, but, you
Know, she's got children.
Can you imagine if Tiger is driving her children, and it's in the afternoon, in a neighborhood.
“That's what was, it's sad, but, you know, he's lucky he hasn't killed somebody.”
himself included, and you're just, you're watching this, and he's such a powerful brand.
Everybody wants to tell Tiger what Tiger wants to hear. You surround yourself with people who are yes people. But when he was going, leaving the jail, and they have that picture in the SUV, he is just a sad person. But he's got to want to help himself, I mean, that's the, you can, you can save something
to somebody, having, you know, had a father went to AA, it took a long, long, long time, and a proud that he went, but he went at the end of his life, but he did go, you know, you're just trying to get somebody who can connect with him, or go with him, because it's
tough to do it alone, but you're watching this unfold, and this is not the way it's
supposed to be. But man, additional touch, anybody, it does not discriminate.
“I don't care much money, people will say, well, why aren't you driving, got a driver?”
Well, sometimes you're hiding stuff that you don't want your driver to know. And that appears to be what's going on, but yes, should he have a driver? Yes. Yes. Yep, only.
And there's this entire business around Tiger.
He still brings in a lot of money for a lot of people, and it's almost like they want to keep his image as 2007, the greatest call for on Earth, and the illusion that he may golf again someday, like his people want to keep that out there, and they go to this TGL thing, or they talk about the masters, and it doesn't feel like anyone around him is worried about, again, we don't know, but if they want to keep the train running.
Yes. The business train of Tiger is still huge. Yeah. But I don't know what's next for him as a golfer, you know, he still is a brand, but if you're a sponsor, you're going to stay with him.
“As a golfer, does he want to try to play on the senior tour?”
Does he want to try to play on the regular tour? Master starts a week from this Thursday, and he's not going to be playing in it. But man, this is where somebody's got a grab and hold on, don't let go, because we're going to come in one day and we're going to be talking about something far more serious with him, because when I heard that there was a roll over, and I thought, boy, here we go again.
He's lucky, he's lucky, at luck and run out, one moment. If you don't kill yourself, you're going to kill somebody else. Uh, all right, hopefully I didn't sound preachy, you know, I don't have all the answers. I got a lot of questions, but if these people around him, if you love him, man, you've got to give some hard, hard, hard advice.
And you're not going to want to hear it, you're not going to want to believe it. You know, you may run the risk of losing your job or access to tiger, but you know what? I'd run that risk, because I'd hate to be sitting there one day saying, why didn't they say something? But, you know, you might not be charged with anything, you know, a higher, a great lawyer, and uh, but he's guilty of once again, driving impaired.
Bad judgment, it's two in the afternoon, Matt, no, hi, morning, Matt, what's on your mind today? Hey, guys, uh, sorry, I got a little choked up with the tiger saying, um, I've been through the same struggles, um, and, um, I got a great support loop and, um, hopefully he does as well and, um, and get through that, but, um, uh, the reason I called was I had a, uh, best,
a request and a question. The best is, um, uh, the booger kid, even though they lost him,
Just being a man like, uh, his father was great character, just facing music,...
you know, it takes a lot of, you know, takes some stones to do that, but I'm sorry, and then, um, their request is, I had asked you this last year, uh, uh, uh, my late dad loved
baseball, and I always call him and ask for your, um, strike three call before he got
question it. Oh, sorry. Well, sorry. Sorry, I didn't have a word. No, that's okay. Wait a minute, ABS said it's, uh, it's a, it's a, it's a ball. All right, but they tapped the helmet there. So how can I help you, man? That, well, the question was, if you're behind a plate, are you just going to fight the aggressive fist pump? Are you going to straight pull on the lawnmower? Uh, I would pull
the lawnmower. But I, you know, it depends on, you know, what inning and it, you know,
“is it a, I don't know, third out of the inning. Ha, that ABS though, I love it. I think”
it's great. And I think the audience, the crowds are getting into it as well. It will become a thing. I dress it up. I play it up. And, you know, tap the helmet here. We go. Let's see. And, uh, it was great. It's fun. Embrace it. Uh, let's see. Lucas in Texas. Hi, Luke. What do you have for me, bud? It ain't good morning. Morning. Two things from
that game yesterday. First off, uh, again, showing the, the maturity of you con, with
a coach that's not going to rush to a timeout. But also the players that don't rush a shot, the moment they get that turnover, they knew how much clock they had left, making that last pass to the trailing player was a really, uh, really impressive sign of a well coach, a season team like you've been seeing this morning. The second thing relates to Duke.
“And I'm going to stir the pot a little bit and just keep saying, hey, until we see”
a national championship out of Duke, uh, the true blue blood one yesterday. Let's see something, uh, apart from Coach K. And then we could say that, uh, you know, Duke is among the elite. Thanks, guys. Yeah. That's fair to say. Marvin will agree with that.
Always. Yeah. You, you con, replacing Duke. Did it with three coaches? Yeah. We have
more national titles than Duke. Okay. Yeah. Congratulations. No, I was saying, you say, replacing. Yeah. Oh, sorry. Okay. All right. You just had some down years, though. Well, that was, that's my, that's always my issue. Yeah. When they say, you con, the blue blood, I was like, ah, but now with early, they've been consistent the past four or five years, because they went a national
title, it did not make the tournament the next season. Yeah. Yes, Paul. Duke has five men's national titles in the past 26 years. You con has six men's national titles in the past 27 years. Mm. Mm. Whoo. Whoo. Oh, stay on the day. Stay on the day. Stay on the day. Stay on the day. This is the start of the day. Brought to you by a Panani American, but this isn't a Duke team that you don't like. You know, the boozers, I mean, that it's a nice team. Um, it's just
it's the brand. It's Duke. That's all it is. I mean, it would help if you had a white guy was really good that you hated. I mean, you know, hopefully next year, they can be well, and get a white guy you can hate. Cross on our fingers. That usually like Zion, we watched. We were, you know, it's like, we're seeing something we haven't seen before. Flag. I don't think there was, there was he was not the polarizing player, con, can it? People
didn't even notice. It's like, dude over there makes some really nice shots, man. Yes,
“more. The last guy that was really hateable was Grayson Allen. Yeah, and that's maybe what?”
10 years ago. Yeah. They've had a bunch of really good one and done guys, and also they're not there long enough to start for you to start hating them. Yeah. But hey, Caden Booser, man, I give you, I wanted to hug him. He's 18. And the magnitude of that, and I can't imagine the moment for him. And it happened so quickly and all of a sudden, it's turned over, uh, past, past, shot, boom, what just happened. And then you go in, not long after
that, you're sitting there and he answered the questions. His brother is there with him. Man. Yes, you can. And to hear him say two sitting there, he's answering the questions, and he just says, "So matter of fact, I cost my team of the season." Yeah. Ah, play it, Marvin.
I turned the ball over.
What a coach, Shire, saved before, in that time out, before you guys were involved in the ball,
“oh, just that we, we knew that they were going to trap, um, just be sure all the ball.”
You know, coach Greenberg, Seth Greenberg joined us, and he brought up something that I didn't
think of. And that is, when you're going to have the ball, if you get trapped, always have somebody
behind you. So you, but he was doing one motion where he got the ball and then was trying to throw it because you were going to get a dunk at the other end. I got to give Connecticut credit with the trap, and then the pass and then the pass back and then the shot. It was textbook. I know we, I know we'll focus on Duke and the turnover there. What Connecticut did was textbook, you trap their point guard with, you know, tall guys, you get the tip, you get the turnover,
you throw it to the guy who just had a three and is the guy you want to have the ball with the
“game on the line. And he throws it back. Mullins hasn't been hitting shots. He gets a logo three.”
And that happens in the blink of an eye. But Connecticut deserves a whole lot of credit. I can put
blame on Duke, absolutely. But to have that moment happen, Connecticut has to do everything right. They don't foul when I thought they were going to foul. They had Mr. Free throw. Yes, Mark. And the thing about that loss is it's a slow death. So now you're overthinking. You probably can't sleep. Those guys probably didn't sleep last night. They're like, oh my gosh, this turn over here. This miss lay up here. This foul here and it all just kind of came to a
head with that Mullins shot. When we come back, we will give you our best in worse to the weekend, more phone calls as well back after this Fox sports radio has the best sports talk line up in the

Mostly human, we'll show you how. My goal is to give you the playbook, so you can benefit.

Obviously, you kind of see overwhelming favor in this tournament, but I feel honest, I think people are kind of sleeping on Texas. Experts are suggesting that UCLA is the number one challenger to you con, and that right after that would be Texas. SNC is so deep and so they can just about everything. I really is annoying. So it's UCLA, Texas, South Carolina, LSU. Only once I could possibly upset you con. On flagrant and funny, we're giving our

Todd, I'll start with you. Best of the weekend. The braids were down to nothing at home to the Royals on Saturday after a pair of RBI singles in the bottom of the night. Then to a tie to two
DH Dominik Smith steps to the plate. It's a walk off grand slam homeer. Smith recently lost his mom to cancer. He became the first player in baseball history. He had a walk off grand slam in his debut with a new team like that. That was a fantastic story over the weekend outside of basketball stuff. For worst, Purdue had a 7.0 lead at half time to it all unraveled a 7.0 and 18.5 run
in the second half of Arizona burned the boil of makers while cats take it by 15. Sheet and best
who worst. Best of the weekend is the ABS system adding a whole new dynamic to baseball that I don't know that we needed. But it's like a game show or something where all the sudden they you see that tie. Here we go. All right. Let's see what happens. Worst of the weekend, um,
“Empire CB Buckner, who is apparently the face, the poster boy of the ABS system. I think he went”
six out of eight, got overturned. Yeah. Something that is, I feel bad for the fella, uh, nobody deserves to wear that. And especially because some of the calls that he got wrong, it's like 0, 3 of an inch or something. We're like, all right, he didn't get it that wrong. You know, she's. Uh, he got famous for, you know, something that you don't want to be famous for. All of a sudden that mask flips off. You see him rolling his eyes. There we go. All right.
Marvin, best and worst of the weekend. I'm going to show growth. I'm not going to have any you kind of as my best of the weekend because that is just too easy. We've been talking about it all day. It's okay. Best moment of my life. I know. Not of the weekend. Okay. Uh, best, uh, best of the weekend for me, Charlie made the son of Dusty May, the best of your head coach hitting the three pointer at the end of their game against Tennessee. That's one of my
favorite things about college basketball. Seeing the walk on and seeing the reaction of the starters and the star players just going crazy. I love that because those guys, no offense, our real students and they go with the team and they play and so happy for them. Tots of mine, but Purdue was. Oh, that was your worst. It was. I thought they played great in the
first half and then Arizona just turned it on. I mean, it was a swarm. It got bad real fast.
Paul. Best of the weekend. You con guard, Silas Demory Jr. Number two, the three and the tip
At the end.
I heard this during the game the other day. I'm like you, Dan. I really enjoy watching Hannah
Adalgo of Notre Dame. Unbelievable guard. And I heard something on the air. I was like, well, that can't be true. The twenty twenty six women's college naseness awards finalists. There's four players. All four are very deserving. Hannah Adalgo is not a finalist for college women's player that you she didn't make the top four. I'm shocked by that. And hopefully I'm not biased or anything, but it was shocking to see because if you've talked about MVP of a sport or whatever you want to call it,
she's at, she's great. And what an impressive woman. When we met her at Notre Dame,
came on the show. You could tell she's business. She's, she's, she's, she's going to go,
she's going to get after you. Here's Gino Oriama. You con head coach on facing Hannah Adalgo. You mentioned Hannah, I'm assuming I was one of the best point guards in the country in your view.
“I'm not one of the best. I think she's the best. You cannot deal with someone that every time you're”
jubbing the ball, you're, you're more worried about where she is than who you're passing it to. I just love watching her. And I asked her 50 games. She was old enough to go pro. She said, well, one more shot of you guys. She's a one man press. She really is. If, you know, that's if you got the ball, throw through a teammate. Yeah, because she's going to, she'll get it, she'll get it, she'll steal it. And offensively, she's great as well. Who's the woman at Tennessee that I was
texting you about, Marvin? Oh, from Texas. Oh, Madison Booker. Wow, they should call her Madison Booker. Because she, she might be an MVP in the WNBA at some point. She is unbelievable. I mean, she gets her own shot. I mean, it is my a more like we're off the dribble. However, you want it. She's going to give it to you. Jay and Oregon. Good morning, Jay. What's
on your mind today? Good morning, fellas. First time, long time, six foot and a soul tree 280.
Hey, I just want to get a couple things first and foremost. I just want to congratulate Marvin. And you kind of have to be on the final four. Truly was a fantastic sports moment. My best of the weekend, though, is Gary Woodland went into Houston, open after going through
“faint brain surgery just three years ago. I think that the fantastic sports story and the job”
was on the end. Yeah, I was watching that closing holes there. And you could tell, you know, the emotion was going to hit him. Because he was suffering from PTSD, from brain surgery. Didn't know if he would play his wife encouraged him to get back with his former coach. And it was great to see former college basketball player. Now, didn't we have him on a long time ago? I keep played like division three,
division two, but played against Kansas, maybe. But, yeah, ended up winning good for him, wonderful moment. But, you know, we talked about taking it, you know, one day at a time that he's still recovering from this. Yeah, Paulie. Yeah, Gary Woodland was a basketball
“player at Washburn University there. There you go. Good old wash you. Yeah. And I think they're”
in Topeka, my memory serves. Then he transferred the Kansas and got into golf. Okay. Yeah. But, you know, he's saying that it's each day, each day. And even said, if you know somebody who's struggling, you know, listen to them. And that's after winning a golf tournament. But it was more than that. He won more than just winning a golf tournament. All right. Two hours in the books, more of your phone calls coming up. Best in worst of the weekend, what you saw that you liked.
