We can explain how AI works, data centers, but there are certain things that we don't necessarily understand. Better version of "Plays Stupid Games" when stupid prizes.
Yes, which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift who said that for the first time.
I actually thought it was. I got that wrong. But hey, no one's perfect. We're pretty close, though. Listen to the "Nick" Dick and Poll show on the "I Heart Radio" app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. You are listening to the Dan Patrick Show on Fox Sports Radio. However, two on this Thursday, Dan and the Danets, Dan Patrick Show. I had somebody say to me yesterday, "Why don't you guys just embrace that your show, your a mid-major?"
And I said, "But we don't play like a mid-major. We play like a blue blood here. I will not accept that." And then they said, "Well, they were joking." And I said, "There's a little truth in every bit of joking. Do you feel like we're a mid-major?" And he walked it back a little bit. But he said, "Yeah, you're kind of an underdog. You're a mid-major." I said, "Okay."
I guess we're kind of like Miami, Ohio now. Or high point. I thought we were up there with Arizona, Yukon and Michigan and Duke. Yes, see. We've got of at least be a little Gonzaga's. I mean,
“we've been in the tournament for the last 20 years straight. How much can we still ride this mid-major underdog?”
Yeah, "Card." You would think that we graduated just like Gonzaga. At some point, you really are just losers. Yeah. Or we didn't win. We didn't win again this year. Yeah.
We're more of a loser because we didn't get nominated to not really have a chance at winning. Yes, Marvin. Are we kind of like Davidson? We're mid-major, but we have a super duper star with us? No, no, no, no.
No. I think we might be Gonzaga. You're comparing Todd to his stuff, right? It'd be me too, I said, "Wow." That's a nice compliment.
That's a nice compliment. That's a nice compliment. I thought it looked because Dad's here too. That's the host. Maybe you're thinking about him.
And if you're watching on peacock or NBC Sports Network, you can see Fritzi has put on the Mark Davis hairpiece. And it looks good. Commitment to excellence and foolishness at the same time. That's what we do.
Yes, Paul. I don't think we're Gonzaga or Davidson. We're like a likable duke. We're the opposite of that. We've been doing this consistently for a long, long, long time.
Awards are judgments. Other shows they-- But Duke wins. Yeah, but we can't control that. We win by having the same crew year and a year out doing this.
When lots of other shows get hot, they turn through people.
They fade away for the opposite. Sweet 16.
“We've got a slate of games coming up later on today in tonight.”
It's a Texas and Purdue. Iowa Nebraska, Arkansas, Arizona, Illinois and Houston. And we'll talk to Connecticut head coach Dan Hurley. We'll join us in an hour from now. And we will have Mac McClung.
The leading score all time leading score in the G league history. The long, G league history. But Mac put up 54 and 59. And probably still won't be making an NBA roster. I just don't know why the nets wouldn't go out and say,
Hey, come on in and have some fun. I mean, or maybe the bulls, they're not any good. But we'll talk to Mac McClung in an hour from now. All righty. 877 3D P-Show, email address [email protected],

Past two seasons, the NFL was played an international game on the Friday after the season opener. 2024 Eagles Packers in Brazil, 2025 chargers, chiefs in Brazil on that Friday. It's not an option this year because of something that took place in 1961. It's called the Sports Broadcasting Act.
Doesn't allow broadcast of professional football games on any Friday or Saturday from the second Friday and September until the second Saturday in December.
The last two seasons, the day after the season opener fell on the first Friday of September. (Music) If you like to dial us up 877 3D P-Show operator, Tyler will take your phone calls. The NFL finally figured out a way to give us a game on Wednesday. They're going to do their damnedest, how many days Tuesday might be the only day and then Friday during the season during the high school football season.
But they're doing their best going around the world.
“You're going to have a game in Australia. Why? Why not apparently?”
Seat and poll question. What do we have from our one and what are you going to go with our two? Yeah, our one we put up there. The NFL season opener on a Wednesday night. Love it, hated or really don't care. Right now, really don't care is just barely edging out, hated. Love it only has 8% of that vote. Okay. You know what, for our two, why don't we go with one of Todd's poll questions. Todd had a bunch of great suggestions, Todd.
Why don't you throw in a great? Yeah, really great. We had did last night feel like MLB opening day.
Yes, it was the first game that counted the standings, right?
No, it was just the one game and I was streaming service at that. Todd, I come in today. Todd goes, that was an opening day. And I go, why? Because because it was at night. And I go, okay, not opening night. It's not Broadway. It's major league baseball. It's supposed to be an afternoon game at opening day. And there should be more than one of them.
I'm okay with the stand alone. Do I like the streaming partner? I mean, look, you don't have to watch it. It's almost, it's weird. Sometimes you'll hate watch something. You're like, all right. I don't watch it. I don't want to be going on Netflix and watching my game. And like, be grudgingly watching something here. I don't want to watch a Wednesday night game from Australia, but you will.
I watch scrubs and then that sitcom about the elementary school and all honesty.
“That's what I watched for at least a portion of that baseball game.”
Do you know what the show's name is? I forgot something elementary. Abbott Elementary. I watched that and I watched the new revisiting of scrubs. They're back in town. Okay. Two shows for you. Two new shows. One is Rooster on HBO Max with Steve Carell. Really funny.
And it's, they're, they're only like 25 minutes long each episode. And the other one is DTF St. Louis with Jason Bateman and David Harbor from Stranger Things. What's it called? DTF St. Louis. You'll have to ask me off the show what the DTF stands for.
David Harbor is incredible in this show.
I love Jason Bateman. It doesn't matter what he's in. He's Jason Bateman playing Jason Bateman and he's great in this. But David Harbor from Stranger Things is pretty spectacular in this.
Steve Carell really funny and Rooster both are on HBO Max.
You know that movie I want to see is, what is that Hail Mary Project Hail Mary with Ryan Gosling?
That's on Amazon. Got big box office opening week and got great reviews. But it's in theaters or you can rent it on Amazon. But I haven't seen that yet. All right. You know, I saw something else here. And this is so off track, but then it's so on track for this show.
Ruth Chris Stakehouse is going to have, I guess, a dress code. If you go in there, you cannot go in there with a hat on. You can't go in there with sweatpants. You kind of have to be dressed up. So they have a dress code and the proper attire for the Ruth's Chris.
By the way, one of the worst names for a restaurant, Ruth's Chris dress code. You can't have Jim wear. You can't have pool attire.
“Who goes in to Ruth's Chris Stakehouse in their bathing suit?”
I guess somebody has tank tops clothing with offensive graphics or language. Revealing clothing or exposed under garments. Other than that, you're good to go. Yes, Tom. What have I happened to freedom of speech?
This ways of presenting is the first of all.
They have to change their name before they start ordering people what they can and can't wear. Okay. Who has a problem? That Ruth's Chris Stakehouse has a dress code. See? It's a little more nuanced than that.
But I don't have a problem with places having a dress code. I do have a little bit of a problem with Ruth's Chris demanding a dress code now. You don't consider them a high-end steakhouse? I don't know that they're the kind of place right now that can demand one of those. Okay.
I don't know that that's my own personal feelings, but it's a bold. Okay. It's a high-end steakhouse chain. Okay. Okay. There's still other higher-end steakhouse chains. Yeah.
For sure. Okay. But did Ruth's Chris accomplish what they wanted to? People are talking about Ruth's Chris Stakehouse. That might have been what they were trying to do is, you know what?
How about we get some attention? Free attention. And they did.
“So now you have to be a little dressed up, a little more dressed up.”
I can't imagine somebody going in in their bathing suit. I can imagine somebody going in with a hat on. Yeah. So like I said, I definitely, I'm a big believer in not wearing your hat when you eat. So you sit down at the table, you take your hat off.
And I am a big believer in that. For sure. I think Shelley said you can wear anything you want. Coming in to Chile. I just jumped on it and tried it.
You had to wear it with Chris Crout. Yeah. Shelley's tried to get some published. Yeah. You have to say, like, capital grill wasn't like, yeah.
Whatever. Killies was exactly my point. Yes, point. So Ruth's Chris. They also say that this is for the dining room.
They have a bar area where there is no dress code. And you can wear what you like. So you're not barred from the restaurant if you don't wear this stuff.
“I think they're trying to rebrand themselves as a high-end steak chain by doing this as well.”
It seems to be working. Does anybody have a problem when somebody wears sweatpants, pajamas when they're on a flight? Yeah, Paul. If you're a 14-year-old girl, fine.
If you're a 25-year-old man, put on a pair of jeans or pants or even like nice sweats. Don't bring a blanket and a pillow. But, you know, you look back in the 50s and the 40s. And people would go to the baseball game and they'd have a suit and tie on. Get on an airplane.
It was like a big deal. You'd be dressed up to go on an airplane. Go out to dinner. Whenever we'd go out to dinner, which wasn't very often when we were young,
we always had to get dressed up.
Now it's just like, get on a plane. You're like, whatever. Yes, Mark. We had to get dressed up to go into the living room for Thanksgiving. Yeah.
That's how we grow. And rightfully so? Right. Yes. sweatpants.
Yes. Because I'm a big sweatpants guy, but my sweatpants are nice and expensive. But just like pajama pants and all that. Cookie Monster pajama pants. You forget about it.
Yes, Paul. Tampa International Airport a month ago put on Twitter. And I think it was serious or partial kidding. They wanted to ban crocks at their airport. They had fun with that.
They said this decision to get rid of pajamas and crocks at their airport is their new policies. As long as you don't take your shoes off.
If you have crocks on and then, you know, I'm not.
I have to draw the line there.
Yes, he. I think I think expensive sweatpants is like jumbo shrimp. [laughs] There's still sweatpants. It kind of makes me feel the same thing.
I still sweatpants is still whether with the size of it still shrimp. I'm definitely a shoes off guy on the plane. 100%. But not, you got socks on. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
100%. Mmm. I get a little skieved out. Yeah. I don't care.
Yes. What the hell is that?
“That's why we don't sit next to each other.”
Todd tries to sit next to each other. I like sitting next to each other. No, we're not doing that either. What are doing high-end expensive pajamas? That does exist.
You can get expensive beaches. I think it's the look of it. Not the cost of it. Or it's like slobbingly. Slobbingly.
Yeah, just a couple of things that-- Yes, Paul. Do you think you guys check yourselves when you walk into a steak house and say, like, am I prepared to walk in here? A nice restaurant, a high-end restaurant?
Do you guys check yourselves like before you leave the hotel? Yeah. Yeah, I mean, I'm aware of-- I went to a steak house in New York recently and golden steer. And, you know, they have one in Vegas.
So, you know, it's an event when you go in. You have to be kind of dressed up where you look really silly. And so I got dressed up. I took my buddy Nick Wright. I took him to the restaurant on a mistake dinner.
Then he comes back to stab me in the back. It gets a sports Emmy nomination. Yeah, Paul. It's funny you mentioned golden steer in Vegas. We ran into Frank Kellando to comedian in the lobby.
We were on our way to dinner. We were dressed for dinner. And you'll come with us. He goes, "Uh, okay."
And we were leaving that second.
He had on black shorts and a black T-shirt. And he goes, "I don't think I'm prepared for the steak house." And he-- but he didn't have time to go upstairs.
“Yeah, well, you know what, I think he kind of was asking me”
to ask him to go to dinner. I think he was saying it with his eyes. Right. Because I felt bad. We're in the fountain blue hotel.
We're in the lobby. And we're all said to go in there's Frank. And Frank was going to be on the show the next day. We love Frank. I thought he was saying, "Hey, don't leave me alone."
Can I go without saying it? Yes, ma'am. It made it easier for you to invite him because Fritzy wasn't with us. So I made that much easier for you to have him tag along. Why didn't you go, Todd?
I don't remember why I wasn't there. You don't remember? No, you stay in your room, you see. Anyway. And they all went to dinner without Frank.
I don't know what made you guys invite him. I just started doing his impersonations. He actually did it. His impersonation of you. He's been doing a lot of that lately.
Yeah. All right, we'll get to phone calls coming up. A lot of people want to talk about the baseball game last night. Well, a lot of things. That they on your mind apparently will come up with a new poll question for our two.
Busy final hour. Danny Hurley will join us and we'll talk to Mac McClung. These slam dunk champ. Now, the all-time leading score.
“Who did he surpass on the all-time G league scoring list?”

We're experiencing one of the greatest tech accelerations in human history, and let's be honest, that can be messy. There's no playbook for what to do when an AI model hallucinates a story about you.
But it's my belief that we should all benefit from this moment. Mostly human will show you how. My goal is to give you the playbook, so you can benefit.

Both men are carrying concealed weapons, and in less than 30 minutes. Both of them will be dead. And everybody in the chambers of dogs, a shocking public murder. If you're watching on peacock or NBC Sports Network, during the commercial breaks on radio, we are showing you our Emmy real. And you can include, I think, five different segments. So there's one, the Bog Jackson interview where we talked to him in San Francisco. He admitted that he had a colon cancer surgery.
We also had me reacting to Michael Jordan's take on load management. Matt Friend does impressions in Vegas. He joined us when we were out there for Formula One. When I tell Derek Henry, he's going to get into a Adam Sandler movie.
Followed by Sandler reaching out to Derek Henry via video.
And the Miz showing Pauli how to chop. I think those are the segments that we included on our Sports Emmy real.
That we did not get nominated for.
“Adam and Michigan, I Adam, what's on your mind today?”
Hey Dan, how you doing? Good. Good day. On the Emmy thing, Dan's house. So the people that watch on peacock, you guys play that little sitcom intro at 10am and 11am every day. And my Sunday says that's off in the next two years. Are you guys going to do like a little new version of it?
Maybe get the Sandman or West Andrew Sand to direct a new version of it. And will it be worthy of the greatest intro and TV shows of all time up there with Fresh Prince or the Supranos? I don't know Adam, but it's a good idea. Maybe I could get the back room guys. They would like to follow up and we have a new open for this program.
Of course. Bill and Grand Rapids. Hi, Bill. What's on your mind today?
ADP first time, long time, six, three, two, sixty, five.
I go back with you all the way to the day with dibs. I just want to reach out and thank you for the Bojax and interview over the Super Bowl. That interview quite possibly saved my life this week.
“I had a little bit of a rash that had developed.”
I had my primary care doctor check it. He sent me on my way with some topical solution. By Sunday, the rash had spread pretty aggressively down into my legs. I took it upon myself to get myself the urgent care. And by 930 that night, I was in the ER with 20 docs surrounding me because my platelet count was down to 4,000. If you're at that level, a small cut or a bump on the head could be the end of things.
So, thanks so much to you and to Bojax for making this all happen. Well, thank you, Bill. And I tell, and I'm going to continue to tell you, don't wait until you're 50 to get a colonoscopy or get tested with prostate. Do not wait. There's no reason why you can't do it in your 30s. Or your 40s. Sooner the better.
Any, I know. Nobody wants to do it. But it can save your life. And that's what Bojaxam was saying. We look at Bo as some mythological figure. Like nothing happens to Bo, Bo is, you know, infallible.
And he comes on the show in San Francisco. And he said, "Hey, I had prostate cancer surgery three months ago. I didn't know he was going to tell me that." And then he starts talking about it. And, you know, I wondered when we got done with the interview,
I even said to Bo, I said, "You're going to save some lives by telling that." And he said, "Good. I hope." And even if it's one life or it gets you to go in early for early screening, please do it. Okay? And I love hearing those stories.
Because you did go in and, you know, you saved yourself. But don't wait. Do it. You shouldn't have to have somebody tell you to do it. But in that case, we had Bojaxam do it. And it was wonderful that he shared that.
“Paul in Louisiana. High Paul, what's on your mind today?”
Hey, Dan, good morning.
Second time, long time, 65, and a heart to a weight.
I am driving back in Little Rock with my daughters. I went to their very first concert ever last night. So, journey. So, good night. Okay. How was Steve Perry singing?
No, they had the Japanese guy or Filipino guy that took his meal. Oh, yeah. So he sounded just like it. Yeah, he is pretty. You wouldn't think you could find another voice like Steve Perry from journey.
But they felt like he sounds just like Steve Perry from journey. What else? Yeah, Paul. So, I had been a long time basketball coach and high school played in college. And this recently been thinking, and especially this morning,
there's some information on, you know, like the Hornets starting five. And how well they've been doing. And one of the top score out of that starting five is Adrian like 20.8 points again. So, I've been thinking about this lately. I've got kids being recruited off our team at the high school.
And what, you know, high school plays 32 minutes. Kyle has played 40 NBA plays 48. A high school player that scores 20. You know, that's about five points a quarter. You know, that's a pretty good, you know, average.
And you can get you a lot of looks. So, when we're looking at college and we're looking at NBA, what is that points per game knowing that they play eight.
And, you know, 16 minutes longer than high school.
What is that average per game that kind of puts those, you know, a college player or an NBA player
at a certain level, you go, wow, that's pretty dang good. So, yeah, but I don't say travels Paul. I don't want to know how many you scored. I want to know how you scored.
“Are you a guy who overpowers, you know, kids in high school?”
Can you shoot a mid-range jumper? Can you shoot a three? Do you make your free throws? What does your shot look like? That's what I would care about.
Because I've seen guys when I played in high school, there were guys who were just big back then bigger than everybody else. And they overpowered people. But then, by the time they got to their senior year, we caught up with them.
And even in college, you'll see guys who are really good in college. But they lack, you know, do I do anything great? Do I do something's really good? And sometimes you get a late bloomer. Certainly, with college, definitely with the NBA,
because these kids are coming in 19, 20 years of age. I don't know what Cooper Flag is going to be like when he's 29. I don't know if he'll be a whole lot better and better than con conipple. Con conipple is really good right now, but I get the feeling Cooper Flag is going to be even greater
when he gets to be 26, 27 years of age.
Con conipple is always going to be a sturdy guy who has an unbelievable ability
to make threes. Surprisingly athletic.
“But then you're going to go, okay, what is he add to his game?”
I always want to know because the Greatlands always add. Magic wasn't a great outside shooter, but he became, if it's a set shot, maybe he became a better outside shooter. Jordan was he going to be able to shoot deeper. Well, when he get down on the blocks, a signature move aside from going to the hoop.
He added to his game. And that's the greatness. That's what that comes out. You know, I didn't know if Isaiah was going to be a great shooter. I knew it could get to the hoop, but you got to be able to hit that jumper.
And he proved that he could hit that jumper. All of these guys add. The Greatlands add. It's really, really rare when, you know, they start subtracting. Yeah, pulling.
Yeah, pulling. When I look at a guy like Khan, Knipple, it's not a direct comp. Remember when Glenn Rice came out of Michigan and he could do it all there. And then he got to the league and he's more, he was just shooting outside a lot.
But then he went from his second year in a league.
Glenn Rice was 17 a game.
“Then he got up to 27 a game in his prime.”
It was really like an all-purpose score. It takes time to develop a little bit. He had to run in March madness. Glenn Rice. Then Rice could shoot.
But, you know, the league is littered with guys who got better. It's also littered with guys who hit the wall. I thought Pervus Ellison was his best as a freshman at Louisville. I didn't think that he got better even though he did add a jump shot. Who was the guy at North Carolina Sam Perkins?
Sam Perkins became a really good shooter. It, it happened. Look at Brook, Brook Lopez. Brook Lopez didn't shoot threes. We had him on the show. I said, hey, you're going to be in the all-star game.
Can you shoot a three for us? And he did. Then all of a sudden he became a three-point shooter. It extended his career. Jason kid couldn't shoot.
He learned how to shoot threes. Yes, Marvin. And then you see guys that we thought we're going to be stuzz in the NBA and it's kind of, you know, we're really stagnant. Gillil Oka for Marvin Bagley.
I thought those guys were going to be game changers. And they peeped at 19 for like a year. Yeah. Yeah. Lucas in Texas.
I look what's on your mind. Hey, Dan. Good morning. Morning. It's good to know. Maybe that the Dan Patrick not only helps people recover in hospitals,
but sometimes can put them in hospitals, I guess. Yeah. So you guys are a hot dual players. No. Open in day of baseball season.
It's one of the best days ever. You know that I'm a passionate baseball fan. You know, frizzy ghost rows. That said, y'all were talking baseball stadiums just a little bit earlier. And I want to throw up my top five stadiums to go see.
And a plea for people to go visit an end game experience this year. It's just noticeably better with the speed of the game. It's got a lot better. Sorry. I'll just go up the side now.
But in with no further ado, the top five. I'm going to go with Camden Yards in Baltimore. I'm going to go with Pittsburgh. I'm going to go with St. Louis. I'm going to go with Dodger Stadium.
And then kind of a combined, wriggly and thin way for the history of it. So hope everyone has a great year. Hope my strokes go 162 and oh, and let's have a great one.
All right.
Thank you. Lucas.
He has his Houston astro gear on getting ready for another big season from your
Astros. Peter and New York. I paint what's on your mind today. Hey. Second seconds.
I long time 65 and a hard 190. Do you see? I wanted to talk about the real star of the Netflix broadcast last night. Jazz. Chesms interview was awesome.
On how hard it is to bat while the sun is setting. He was asked how are the shadows for a five o'clock game. He said I couldn't see. That's why I probably got hit. I'm also here to ask about why Atlanta was one of his favorite stadiums.
And he sent me for a fight. I got a lot of hits there. Love the show boys.
Thanks for all the content.
And then one call back to Todd sausage.
“What do you call when Todd and comfortably lears at a beautiful woman?”
That would be a gock off. Peter. I've seen the gock off with you. You're beautiful. Pretty woman.
Whipped in Michigan. Hi. Whipped. What's on your mind? Morning, Dan.
Six four. Two four this morning. Uh. That might help time college starting five for you here. Magic.
Mike. Durant. The big fun of mental. And Lucinda. I got to ask.
I didn't get to see bird but KG's more on guardable, isn't he? And one more question for you. You got one round of golf left. Who's from PGA tour history? You're going to tee it up with.
And where are you guys going to play? Uh. If I'm playing golf. And then I got one more round to play. Well, Jack can't play anymore.
Um. So I'd be either tiger or jack. And I don't know if either one can play. I'd probably do. I mean, Augusta is what you would expect.
I might put pebble in there or Cyprus. Cyprus is really impossible. I mean, it really, really, really tough to get on Cyprus. And, uh, you know, the former vice president, Dan Quail, extended an invitation to me when I played golf with him in Tahoe.
And he said, hey, if you're ever out, you know, my neck of the woods, and you want to play Cyprus, you let me know. Well, lo and behold, I'm out there, uh, from my 60th birthday. And my friend goes, hey, I thought you, I thought you know Dan Quail. Why don't we call him and let's go to Cyprus because we are at Pebble Beach.
Like, um, okay. And, uh, I hear back from Dan Quail. He said, uh, you have to show up.
“You have to be there right at seven o'clock.”
A.M. You can't go in the clubhouse. You can't go in to the, you can't do anything. You just show up. You don't get to hit any balls. You can show up at seven o'clock and, uh, you can go out. So it's a for some.
We show up at 658. We're just standing. We don't even know where, it's dark. You can't see all of a sudden two patties come over. And I'm with my son and then two other guys.
And I didn't even know where I was hitting. They just said, just hit it straight. And these guys, one guy had been there 32 years as a catty. The other one, they called him a newbie. He had been there 23 years.
And the fog burned off. It got lighter. And it was a spectacular day. And, uh, you know, just a scenery. And these guys knew everything about the course.
And people who lived here used to live here. Uh, it was one, and I got to play with my son, my 60th birthday. And it, it just was magical. That and you get to play pebble. It was a pretty spectacular.
Uh, JD and Tulsa. Hi, JD. How are you? I'm good. Then how you got the, uh, great. Uh, I was, uh, I just had a couple of things who were talking about earlier, um, uh, first of all,
I, I almost, I'll always agree with Satan.
“I think we are, you know, grew up at the same time.”
Both kind of skated music were very similar. But to take your shoes off on an airport or on an airplane is be equivalent of, for it's, you know, being a, a pass-hole and not getting over in the fast lane. Uh, it's just kind of rude.
All right. What, Paul? I personally don't take my shoes off, but I sometimes unlace because it's a little tight on a plane. If you have a decent pair of shoes and a nice pair of socks, and you calmly slip your shoes off and keep your feet in your lane,
it's okay. It's not for me, but it's not a violation. If you start putting your shoes up places,
Putting on other people's business, then it's a problem.
Satan hasn't crossed that line. Yeah. Or have you seen? No, no, definitely. They stay, they usually stay on top of my sneakers. And in my designated area, it really has no impact whatsoever
on anyone around me. So I'm not sure exactly what the comparison is. Other than it's like a faux pas, I guess. Uh, John Rossstein reporting LSU will fire Matt McMan today. And they're going to bring back Will Wade.
Wow. Oh, my gosh.
“He was at NC State, I think, for a year.”
He had some issues at LSU. Oh, you think? He was an issue. Yes. Oh, boy. Brian Kelly, and Will Wade?
I like, it's all about winning. That's all. It's all right. All right. He had a couple of missteps here.
Let's bring him back. Yes, Pauli. Will Wade said less than two weeks ago at a podium with NC State, no interest, no chance, of course. It's not open.
LSU is spending 91 on Lane Kiffin 54 on the Brian Kelly buy out.
Uh, their football roster is 40 million.
They're buy out for their fired coach Matt McMan is 8 million.
“And then they had to pay 3 million to buy out Will Wade and obtain him.”
And then pay his salary. Oh, yeah. That's in the past year. But when anybody else you could get? Really?
All right. We'll take a break. We heard from the pirates about why they won't have a game during the NFL draft week. Also NBA expansion. It's going to happen.
Are there enough good basketball players? We'll talk about that as well. Back after this. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk line-up in the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxportsradio.com.

You doctor this particular test twice in selling stretch. I doctor the test once. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Some like the greatest disinfectant.
They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Break a recipe and I can imagine it. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young.

“Why hasn't a woman formally participated in a Formula One race weekend in over a decade?”
Think about how many skills they have to develop at such a young age? What can we learn from all of the new F1 romance novels suddenly popping up every year? He's still smelled of podium champagne and expensive friction. And how did a 2023 event called Waga Get-in change the paddock forever? That day is just seared into my memory.
I'm a culture writer and F1 expert Lily Herman. And these are just a few of the questions I'm tackling on no grip. A Formula One culture podcast that dives into the Underex lord pockets of the sport. I'm Lori Siegel, a longtime tech journalist. And consider my new podcast mostly human, your bridge to the future. Anyone can now be an entrepreneur, anyone can build an app and it's very empowering. Each week, I'll speak to the people building that future. And we're going to break down what all of this innovation actually means for you.
What I come to realize is that when people think that they're dating these AI companion,
They're actually dating the companies that create this.
We're experiencing one of the greatest tech accelerations in human history.
And let's be honest, that can be messy. There's no playbook for what to do when an AI model hallucinates a story about you. But it's my belief that we should all benefit from this moment. Mostly human will show you how. My goal is to give you the playbook, so you can benefit.
The reason I say agency is because like if you can give power back to people,
“then I think that's probably the best thing we can do for your mental health.”

Could this have happened in City Hall? Somebody tell me that! July 2003, Councilman James E. Davis arrives at New York City Hall with a guest. Both men are carrying concealed weapons. And in less than 30 minutes, both of them will be dead.
Everybody in the chambers of dogs, a shocking public murder.
A scream, get down, get down, those are shots, those are shots, get down. A charismatic politician, you know, he just bent the rules all the time. I still have a weapon. And I could shoot you. And an outsider with a secret.
He alleged he was effective flat down. That may have not been political. That may have been about six. Listen to Worshack, murder at City Hall on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. We reached out to the pirates.
Pirates have their game today against the Mets on NBC and peacock. Pauli reached out to the pirates. We thought maybe they would have a home game.
“How many home games do they have in the month of April?”
18. 18. Well, they don't have any. That week. And we wanted to know.
Was this on purpose? And it is. Free plan when they were working with baseball and schedule their schedules in partnership with the Steelers. So the draft is on the North Shore. They share a parking lot.
And their neighbors on the North Shore. And they didn't want to have an event going on at the same time. Is that. Yes. Clip notes version.
A lot of logistics with production trucks with people with fan events. And to add a baseball game to that, you wouldn't be able to enjoy the baseball game and park like you normally would. And vice versa if they have a baseball game and even extra 30,000 people. It's a logistical nightmare they said. This hour brought to you by neutral fold.
Putting a hat on and going to help you.

The university charged with a total of eight. It also included lack of institutional control. They make him sound like he's John Wooden. We got to having back. And then he was there at NC State.
I believe for one year. So LSU is bringing. Bringing Will Wade back. Congratulations. Let's see.
David and Phoenix. Hi, David. What's on your mind today? Hey, Dan. Few quick things.
First of all, Todd looks like he was kicked out of a 1990s boy band.
And he's just given up on life. Okay. New hopes would have been a great spokesperson for Ruth Chris. And Dan. You introduced Twitter right this year.
Rumors are saying that that choice kept your show from being interviewed. Hey, I'm going to die on that quarter-roy hill. I just got a couple more quarter-roy pairs of pants. Yeah. Yes, heck yes.
Facebook Marketplace? Yes. I failed it. Yeah. I know.
I know. Again, Paul. But for summer? For any time. Yep.
There's no wrong time to wear a quarter-roy. You sure? I'm Dan Patrick for quarter-roy. Yes. Like, you know, beef.
It's what for dinner.
You should be the spokesman for quarter-roy.
Just call me Roy. Yeah, see.
There were a few worse things in the world as a kid or teenager then getting up in the middle of class
go out to the bathroom in the hallway of school while wearing quarter-oys and the whole hallway heard. That was the worst I hated. Not with these cords. These are very soft cords and wide brim wide. Very wide. I don't know what those are called. Each cord. I don't know. But I think they're awesome. Yeah. Yeah. I've gone on a cord spree. You've entered your cord era. Yeah. Yeah. You can call me Nellie Cordo. Yes. Yes, Marba. The kind of like bell
“bottoming? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Isn't that what you wore early college late high school?”
Quarter-oys. A different kind of cord. You know, the kind of seat and stock about where as you walk, your legs rubbed together. Yeah. Yes, Tom. Did you ever read the popular
children's book, Quarter-oys? But a cute little teddy bear. Aiden in Utah. You don't even have
to sound the program. Hayden. Hayden. Good morning. Morning. I'm just waiting for my favorite sport. I mean, I'm not going to show the start. So I thought I'd kill Tom and Cole into the lower care program. Thank you. Molly, so you don't have a problem with seat and economic issues on a plane because it doesn't bother anybody else. You know, it doesn't bother anybody else. When I wear sweatpants, if I want to stick to our flight, I'm not
sitting in jeans, folic. This thing's fairly, or does this follow enough? I don't need to be more uncomfortable. Hey, I'm with you. I'm with you. I wouldn't bar you from wearing sweatpants either. I just don't think depending on the look of the sweatpants, it's a
great look. I don't have a problem if you're comfortable in an airplane. I'm
like, there's so many other things to worry about. Now, I don't want you to have your shoes and socks off, especially if I'm waiting in line for four hours just to get through the damn security. I'm not doing it in a suit. Sorry. Yeah. Not wearing my pork pie hat or whatever they're called. But I'm going to be wearing these quarter Royce. We go to Pittsburgh. I just got a pair of white blue and a pair of gold quarter Royce
yesterday. Of course. Yeah. Go wear suit though on the plane. No. Yes, or year. If I, if I was still, you know, a broadcaster, a TV personality, then maybe I'd wear suit and time, just in case. You're not. Not anymore. Nope. No. Just a radio guy. Yes, Paul. What are your guys thoughts on broadcasters wearing suits and white sneakers on TV? Very commonplace these days. Full suit and tie. Yeah. Well,
they do have comfortable dress shoes. So the dress shoes are more sporty casual. But I, I like wearing, you know, good looking shoes. Dress shoes. Now you got guys who wear 10 shoes. I mean, it's not the end of the world. You know, sports center's different. They did, you know, like how many guys wear ties? I don't even know your analysts do they even. I don't know. I don't think so. I haven't watched Sports Center in a
little while. It's like the, you have like 75 ties long over the fence. That's like having like real to real right now. No. For sports center anchors. Yeah, like VHS,
“like what is this? You have to wear this on air. I know. I have 75 ties and nobody”
wears ties anymore. One more hour to go. Dan Hurley, he doesn't have a tie on. He'll join us and Mac McClung. He'll stop by as well. On paper, the three hosts of the Nick Dick and Paul show are geniuses. We can explain how AI works, data centers, but there are certain things that we don't necessarily understand. Better version of Playstupid games when stupid prizes. Which by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift
