“and then what are we going to go with in the final hour of the program?”
- Yeah, well right now we only got the one up about how much NFL Combine do you watch, because this is just getting, gets worse, and we're somehow 75% of our audience watch zero. NFL Combine. Dad like makes me question so much about what I do.
- Oh the fact that we do watch it? - Not only that, we watch it, but like we talk about it. - Yeah. And nobody watches. 75% of the audience right now, at least here, don't watch it at all. - I'm not ashamed that I've watched the Combine.
- No, I'm not ashamed at all. There's 3.1% of the audience watch most of it. - Yes, Paul? - I think people during the day on a Tuesday or Wednesday can't watch a lot of Combine, and they may rely on us for reports and summaries from guys like Daniel Jeremiah and others.
- Okay. - I was watching it last night. Like 9.30 at night, and it was the rear from the live stuff, 12 hours earlier. - Eight, seven, seven, three D.P. show operator Tyler sitting by who take your phone calls. He's Big Shot Bob Robert Ory, and Laker analyst for Spectrum Sportsnet, also joining Son B. Half of Sure Co.
We'll talk about that. He's the Chief Impact Officer for Sure Co. whose mission is to transform healthcare for working Americans, and helping underserved individuals and families battling insurance costs and premiums. Good to see you again, Bob.
You know, every time I have you on, I always think, "Why aren't you in the Hall of Fame?"
Now it's seven titles, and okay. And the reason why I bring it up, and now I really feel like this is an injustice. Michael Cooper's in, because he was part of a collaboration with the Lakers. One team, but you won titles with the Lakers, the Rockets, in the Spurs, and your nickname is Big Shot Bob.
I'm just trying to understand, like you were semi-finalists, I think, last year. Is that right?
- I think so, I don't keep up, but because if I don't get any, I'd be too hea...
so I don't really keep up. - But somebody makes a case for you. Somebody presents your case to the committee. - Correct. Yeah, you know, Rudy T. was when he had his induction speech, he kind of gave me a shout out, and then it kind of rolled from there.
So this is my second year being nominated.
I did get in this year, but you know, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It's disappointment when you don't get in, but on the other side of that, it's a lot of guys that don't even get, you know, a mention or a sniff of the Hall of Fame, so I'm just, I'm happy, but not content. - Yeah, seven titles and being a contributor, that to me, nobody's had more titles,
and not made the Hall of Fame than you, so that's right, like, I don't know. It's just statistical anomaly, it feels like that you've been part of three different franchises, and even part of the, the Laker team. And I don't know if you felt like maybe you were overshadowed by some of these players you played with, and maybe didn't get that acknowledgement.
I do, I do, because sometimes there's a player, there are more players like myself that sacrifice their games, where they're about to be better.
“And I think about when I got to Houston, you know, of course, dream MVP,”
shot, MVP, Tim Dunn, you kind of take a back seat to those guys. And for me, it was all about winning, and if I did it the right way, you were going to win, I feel like everything else was going to take care of itself. And I think about, you know, my first couple years in the league, where 100, 100 got, 100 steals, 100 blocks,
and never made it all defensive team. And that was one of the things that really made me mad,
because I'm like, how, and I'm like, well, I was kind of always shy about the guy who was a divvist player of the year, I mean, in dreams, blocking shots, but I had almost as many shots blocks I just do, you know. And for me, it hurts, but I allow those guys in the hall of fame, don't have what I have in that seven challenges. Okay, I'm going to give you the first pick. You can have a came, a lot of you want.
You can have Tim Dunn, can you can have shot. If you give me the 2000s check, I'm taking a check. And I can pick out which guy I want, you know, he was just so dominant. The year he won MVP, you think about averaging almost 30, 20. And his personality was, it's fantastic.
In a dream, it would be second and Tim would be a close second third. But you can't, you can't really pick when you have great guys like those three guys. You know, I enjoy playing with all three of them.
“How would your rockets have done against Jordan's balls?”
We would have beat him. We would have beat him. You know, everybody was, you know, Jordan, Jordan actually loses some time. I was like, you know, we just go about our record against the balls when we were there. And we were pretty good. I think when it comes to matchups. And I think Vernon, matchups, MJ was pretty good matchup.
Myself against Sky was a good matchup. But so now, who was going to match up with Dream? Nobody. So, you know, and playing for Field and knowing Field's mentality, I think we don't want that serious. And I know a lot of people were like, man, you crazy. I'm like, "Puck out of Jordan. Jordan, you've people forget.
Jordan came back in 95. He had a double nickel against the mix. But he got beat by the Orlando matchup. Why? Because his team wasn't good enough." You ever discussed this with Jordan? I never had a chance to.
You know, I would love to, you know, be a good debate. And I know he's out winning NASCAR race, so he doesn't have time to basketball anymore. Better defender, Jordan or Pippin? Pippin by far. Really?
By far. And this is one thing people don't understand about Sky to Pippin. Sky to Pippin is the ultimate basketball pair. Me, he's one of my top five all the time. Because when you think about a player who can guard every position on the floor,
there's only like three of those that's every existed. You know, you think, but he can guard a pork guard, he can guard the center. He can score. When Jordan left, he took them to the Eastern Congress finals. And he gets so, that's one thing about when you play a great, I mean, like, supersonic greats like Michael Jordan, everybody else is, oh, he only won the calls of Jordan.
Maybe Jordan only won the calls of Pippin.
“And I think Pippin is so underrated and so unappreciated.”
And I think people need to really sit, you know, take a seat back and look at what he did through ice career and really marvel at what he did. He was, he was great. How often do you do play peacemaker between Kobe and Chuck?
I never had to play peacemaker.
It was a weirdest thing, you know, he was always, Kobe was always, you know, intense, shack was always intense. And we always won, I think, you know, winning softs all problems. You know, we didn't, we didn't, we didn't lose much money. See, I wonder though, Shaq's goofy and I didn't know that bothered Kobe, who isn't goofy. But his thing is, you don't know Kobe like we knew Kobe, you get in practice,
don't keep it wrong. There are times in practice with everybody's intense. But then you have those moments where you shooting the bull and having fun. And we had film of us in the locker room in Kobe, B-Shaw, Rick Fox and all of us.
Derek Fisher, you would be like, man, y'all silly, how do y'all win?
Because we have, we used to have so much fun on the planes in the locker, outside of the counter because the thing about great teams, when you step on that court,
“you are focused, you get in the job done. And that's what we were able to do.”
We got the job done. Because we had a lot of vets and a lot of guys who were hungry for championships. Talking to Robert, oring the Lakers analyst for Spectrum SportsNet. It feels like we keep waiting for a different outcome for the Lakers, but it's the same Robert. They, I mean, they're top-heavy with talent and they do not play defense. Well, right? Yeah, but I think when you look at the Lakers, they have guys on the team that
can play defense. But the problem is, we're such a three-ball team that when you put them in the game,
they're not three-ballers. You're talking about, you know, Van Doe, Mark Smart is up and down. You have, you know, Jackson Hayes, those guys are really good defenders, but you don't want to want to court sometimes because you think about three. And I'm all about getting buckets. I tell people all the time, NBA is not about three. This is about getting buckets. Who can get a bucket when you need a bucket? And if you look at all the guys who have won championships,
you look at shape yield, just MVP-lash it. His game is not predicated on three. He's predicated, getting that mid-range jump, getting to the whole, getting N1s. And then, the year before that, it's like, somehow analyze got thrown this with three balls when championships. That's it. But everybody doesn't have what Golden State has.
Golden State has Ferrari's when it comes to shooting threes. Everybody else got, like, maybe
no Mercedes-Benz or BMW's. And so that is the difference that people have to understand just because it works one team doesn't going to mean it's going to work for everybody else.
“Yeah, just trying to figure this out. I mean, can you teach Luca to play defense?”
You know, if you look a place in spurs and it's so weird because sometimes you watch them, like, okay, Luca, you're going to move your feet. And sometimes he just goes and sits on the blocking and grabs rebound and pushes it. I think if the team as a whole got on each other and say, we need to play defense. And that's the great thing about the teams I'll play for. We were yelling each other, we were arguing each other, but in the day,
we know it's for the best of the team because if you don't play defense, you don't win.
I think the Lakers, you know, have to get in beat by the Phoenix Sun last night, without the
two best players, is the sign that you've got to play defense. But in fairness to Luca, he's asked to carry so much on the other end. He's got his energy should be directed to the offensive side of the ball. So I'm actually this question. Michael Jordan played on both ends of the floor, right? Kobe Bryant played on both ends of the floor, right? Elijah, want to play both ends of the floor.
So why can't Luca do it, too? And that's the thing that's about basketball. And the worst turn is ever using basketball as a two-way player. That turns should be thrown out. That's only for football. And if because basketball is a sport, played on both ends of the floor, you can rest at moments like a lot of players, you, but you have to play both ends of the floor.
“I think when you look at the game of basketball, that's how the best players should be judged.”
You know, you look at Kawaii, you know, and my MVP this year is Jalen Brown, Slash K, come because those guys are doing both ends of the floor. You know, and so that's the thing you have to look at. Basketball is just not by offense. It's about defense, too. Yeah, I just don't think that Luca's athletic, the way Kobe and Mike and a Keenmore.
He is athletic. He just isn't thing. Here's a lot of guys that are like Luca and Luca's very, very strong. So you have to use that to your advantage because you see sometimes when guys are trying to get to the old on Luca, where he does move his feet. They bounce off because he's so solid. He's just got to learn how to use that to his advantage. Every NBA player adapts to the game. So he can adapt defensively where you can learn. You know, don't give me wrong.
Luca is a beast, though. He can get his, but I think, well, a lot of teams now, or isolated knows and doing a lot of one of one and try to manipulate the defense to kick, get draws and kicks, but sometimes you just got to say, you know what? Take it on your own and guard it. He does complain a lot, Robert. What player in the NBA? Okay. Okay. Mike did Mike complain a lot. The Jordan complain a lot.
You know what? I can't really say because I didn't play with him. So when you play with someone, you watch someone 82 games, you can tell the complain a lot. And I think, you know, the only guy to complain a lot is just, really, so it's, is LeBron James because he gets beat up going to the whole sometimes and he doesn't get the calls like a shade does, like a Luca, like a AR, and so on. I think he's the only one to be able to, should be allowed to complain in the league. So you think
it's legitimate that, well, just like Shaq, I mean, Shaq got beat up every single time it felt like down the floor. Yeah. I remember playing next to Shaq and all of you here. Oh, it might be my smack smack. Yeah. And the rest like, oh, he's strong enough to handle that. He shouldn't bother him. And that's not fair because Shaq is strong enough, Luca's strong enough, you know,
Staff is strong enough because this is what, this is a man's league is now th...
So everybody should be strong enough to withstand those hit, but they give them a certain players and they don't give it to other players. You grew up in Alabama, was there pressure for you to play football? My mother said, no, from Jump Street. He said, he said, he said, you're a lot of play two sports and football is not enough. I played baseball and basketball and, you know, I and you don't get me wrong. I love love football. I wish I could have played, you know, but it's
“one of those things that you kind of mama knows best. Are you with Alabama, Crimson Typen?”
Yes, I am. Okay. You know, Alabama went to Alabama from mid-80-92, had four great years on the
Wimpsanus and one three SC championships. Alabama is in my blood. My wife always talks about why you always
like Alabama, that doesn't because it's in my blood just the same way you like USC. Oh, okay. That had to be interesting conversations. Let me get the plug in here. Robert Ores, the chief impact officer for Shaqo. It's a S U R E C O. And the mission is to transform healthcare for working Americans. Tell us what what else you're doing with this. Well, Shaqo is a company because I, um, I don't want to boy with my story. I'm a story started when you leave the MBA. It's all about
what kind of interest plan you had. And then my daughter who passed away, but it was hard to get interest for her because the Obamacare was finally able to get insurance for her. And they kind of heard my story on how I was frustrated with the insurance and how it wasn't worked for me. And
how I have all this money, HRA, and I can't touch. And it was just a whole thing. It's like, you know what?
The two guys I met, Matt, Matt, they go, Matt, Chris. And so we were talking because Matt, you should join us because our mission is to try to change healthcare as a whole and to try to do different things for not just businesses, but, you know, people in rural areas. And that would excite me about it because I wanted to go to the rural areas because that's where I'm from. To let them understand the insurance is here for you. I know it's difficult and it's hard to
understand it. I'm still learning, you know, and I had to deal with a lot when it came to my daughter, asking and understand how to get her to proper care. So it's just one of those things. We don't want people to be afraid of it. You know, take 10 minutes, 20 minutes a day and start
“reading up on it. So you can learn about, you know, equity and all these other things. So that's what”
my, you know, sugar trying to do. Basically, in the whole, we're trying to customize insurance for you to make it work better for you. How old was your daughter when she passed away?
She was 17. And you never get over that. Yeah, you never do, you know, you have those days when
you wake up and you see one little thing that reminds of you just started crying and all this kind of stuff. Oh, you start smiling because, you know, when you lose a loved one, you shouldn't always cry. You know, you missed them, of course, but you got to remember all those moments that gave you so much joy. And I remember sitting down, you know, the last pitch I had with her, I was eating the slice of the pizza and she kept trying to not let me eating this one to hug me. So you have
moments like that, especially now to stay with you to rest of your life. Hopefully you got a special moment coming up here, getting into the whole of fame. Uh, uh, I'll keep a sound in the alarm, Robert. I'll keep a sound in the alarm. I want to say this, but that means a lot to me because I have a lot of people in my, my, my corner for the Hall of Fame. And I just want people to understand that they look at numbers a lot. How many points do you score? How many rebounds you got? But I just want to let
everybody know the Hall of Fame is not about what you did in the NBA. The Hall of Fame is about what you did in your basketball career because he was about the NBA, it would be an NBA Hall of Fame. This is a basketball Hall of Fame. So thank you for having me on. I really appreciate it, man. Robert Orey, Laker's analyst for Spectrum SportsNet and the, uh, the company is Shurko S U R E C O and the mission to transfer health care for working Americans. All right,
we'll take a break and get to your phone calls coming up. A moment you look at the whole picture in the case of collapses. I'm Amanda Knox and in the new podcast doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, we follow the evidence in here from the people that lived it, to ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Leppi was. This is a story about a horrendous lie that destroyed two families. Late one night, Bobby Gumpride became the victim of a random crime. He pulls the gun. It tells me to lie down on the ground. He identified Termine Hudson as the perpetrator. Termine was sentenced to 99 years. I'm like, "Lord, this can't be real. I thought it was a mistaken identity." The best lie is partial truth. For 22 years, only two people
knew the truth. Until a confession changed everything. I was a monster. Listen to burden of guilt season 2 on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. NLP was used on me to access my subconscious. NLP, aka neuro-Englisted programming, is a blend of hypnosis, linguistics, and psychology. Fans say it's like finally getting a user manual for your brain. It's crazy cast of disciples and the fake doctor who invented it at a new age commune and sold it to guys in suits. I now have several terabytes of an MSS officer, no doubt, no question of his life. And that's the Unicorn. No one had ever seen anything like that. It was unbelievable.

“5, 6 and a hard 132. Are we sure it's not too late for Kyla Murray to go back to baseball?”
I mean, with him being the ninth pick in the 2018 draft, I feel like if he took some BP, I would gladly go pay money to see him as a, you know, like a Hartford Guard ghost or something. Well, I think he's owned by his, his draft rights are owned by the Oakland Eggs, or the Vegas A, so the Sacramento A's. But I just go back to the draft when, you know, we weren't sure if he was going to play baseball or football, and he was going to be a top 10 pick
in both, and he decided to play football. Kevin in Phoenix, I Kevin, what's on your mind?
Hello.
direct that question to Paul yet, because he's kind of like the statistical historian of the, of the show kind of. Okay. Yeah, go ahead. So Isaiah Thomas, starting quite a lot of the Eastern Conference, 88, 89, 90. He was, he was all on BA, when they only had two and BA teams, leading up until all the way up until 87, and then in 88, 89 and 90, 88, they still only had two teams, but also 89 and 90, they expanded the three all in BA teams,
and he wasn't voted on any of those teams. Okay. I, I just thought, and it was behind guys like John Stockton, Fat Lieber, and even Kevin Johnson. So, wondering what you all lit in Newt, please feel free to answer as well, then if you like to, but I was wondering kind of
“Paul, you had anything to say about that, or if you, if you mean anything about that?”
I'm not directly tied to Isaiah Thomas, but as far as the stat, Isaiah was first team all in BA
three times, second team twice, and then the back half was clear. He never made first or second team all
empty. I thought he actually was underrated. I don't think he was well liked outside of the pistons and Detroit, but he won. He won a national title at Indiana, and he was a gamer. He was going to play hard, he was going to play hurt, and he played big and big games. I think he was always bothered that Stockton got more credit as a better point guard. And Isaiah, and I think the stats might bear this out. He would have these personal vendettas against certain players, and then he would go
out of his way to try to embarrass them, outscore them, score 40 points. But I don't think he was
“winning those games, but he wanted to show that he was a better point guard. And I think there was”
an altercation between Isaiah and John Stockton, and then Carl Malone took a forum to Isaiah's forehead. But he was great player. Yes, Mormon. I think of my father, him, that he's not mentioned
with the big three of that era, Jordan, Magic and Bird. Isaiah's never mentioned, even though
he won championships and beat all three of them in the playoffs and the finals. Yeah, but I wouldn't put him in there with those three. I don't look at him on the same plane. You know, impact. Okay, you know, he was a good player, a great player, but he didn't have the impact Jordan Magic in Larryhead. But I'm just talking about just as a player. I'm not talking about, you know, the international to reach and all that. I think it's like, wait, I beat Jordan more than he beat me.
If you had a team and you're starting and you have your point guard, and I can, I'll give you Isaiah or John Stockton. Isaiah. Okay. It might not be universal just because Stockton was, you know, what a point guard was supposed to be at the time. It was a past first. And Stockton didn't go out of his way to score. Stockton could have scored 20. Now, Isaiah could have scored 30. Yes, Mormon. Yeah, I feel like Isaiah promises the one that Kyrie level of, I can put up 40 if I want to.
Yeah. Yeah. It depends on what you want. Like Tim Hardaway wasn't your, it always felt like he
was the first point guard who was about scoring points. Now, Tim, he also was a great passer, but
“I just remember he wants to shoot. You know what I watched the other day. I watched Kenny Anderson”
against Duke and Bobby Hurley. He didn't call us. Oh, that was something else right there. That's college basketball. That was one of those where you go, oh my God, he is crushing Bobby Hurley. So you have the pre-minute point guard in college basketball and Kenny Anderson was unbelievable, unbelievable. And you could tell, and this Duke team played great defense. It didn't matter. Kenny Anderson put on a show. And I felt bad for Bobby Hurley. I felt worse for him there than
when he had diarrhea playing in the NCAA tournament. I had, I felt bad for him because Kenny Anderson did whatever he wanted to do. And it was mind blowing. Yeah, Paulie. And Georgia Tech was cool at the time. Yeah, uniforms. Yep. They had lethal weapon three Dennis Scott Brian Oliver. Oh, that was a fun squad. And three day, a beautiful, beautiful shot, beautiful stroke. Speaking of which, Colin Canipple, he has the rookie record for most threes in a single season.
And it's still February. He had eight threes last night. That's pretty good. Yes, it is.
Thank you, see.
And Reggie Miller brought this up probably two months ago, where he was saying,
“he could see Colin Canipple challenging Steph Curry's three-point record.”
Now, Curry had a good rookie year. Maybe his first two years and then he heard his ankle.
And then, you know, he slowed down a little bit. No, after that. He went bonkers. Yes, he. But even if somebody does break that record or moves past Steph Curry's, whatever records he might have, his place is secure. Steph Steph's. Yes. 100%. He was the first he did change the game. And anybody that comes after that is still following in sort of like that path that he laid. Yes, Pauling.
Colin Canipple would have to hit three hundred threes a year for 15 seasons to be there.
Well, Steph Curry's first year, he hit 166 threes. Second year 151 got injured. But then after that,
272 261 286 402 threes in a season in 324. But the offense isn't built around Colin Canipple, at least not yet. It was built around Steph. They relied on him to shoot these threes.
“And you get to shoot in volume. But Canipple's far more athletic than you think. I think people”
focused on Cooper flag and rightfully so it Duke. But Canipple was a five star recruit. And he can get to the hoop. He's athletic. He's strong. But beautiful, beautiful shot. And you know, that's where you want to teach somebody form. Look at his form. Look at his follow through. It's pretty good, pretty good stuff. All righty. It's that time. It's arm again. Who has the longest arms? The combine released some information yesterday with some of the top players and they had short arms.
31 inches even shorter. So we decided that we were going to have arm again. We would measure our arm length. So Dylan, aside from cooking meat Friday, he had to take over the honors of
being the host of arm again. What we're going to ask for is I want the second, third, and fourth
selections. And then you will bring us the fifth selection. And then we will crown the king, the arm king, arm in hammer. So do we want to go? We want to go one last, not one is last. Okay. So it'll be obvious when you go two, three, four, and then we pause. Yeah. And then you do the big reveal. And then you give five. And then one was there any controversy? Not that I'm aware of that. And I have the documents in here sealed stapled in here. My associate Ray did a good job
of covering up the information. Okay. All right. So here we go. Arm again. The second longest arms of the Dan Patrick show belong to the second longest arms belong to Dan Patrick. Wow. Wow. Wow. That's a shot. That's major. Second longest. We take a break. You're going to minute. Oh my god. We collect yourself a little. I'm so sorry. What? Second longest. All right.
“All right. Do we want to start taking bets right now? Is there can we do like a mid-game wager?”
Then draft Kings have something where you can like mid-game parlay or something. Why are you like this? Yeah, Paulie. This could be one of the great days of Marvin Prince's life. I'm just saying that. Oh my god. Who would have bothered you Dan to know that they have longer arms than you Paul Marvin. Me Todd. Todd. I think Todd. How long were my arms? 29 and a quarter. Perspective. I would like to have a recount. Is that what's like a what's the average length? Like
what should be? I don't even know what to expect. When I 29 sounds kind of small to say. Yeah, when I get my sleeves, you know, my shirt, it's 1834 35. Those are just made of numbers. No, they're not. I was measured this way. You know, football night in America. That was a while ago. Trinket possible. There is shrinkage. Okay. All right. The third longest arms on the Dan Patrick show belong to Todd Fritz. All right. Right in the middle. Right in the middle of the path.
I got you. All right. 29 even. All right. And what was Dan? 29 and a quarter. Judging. Thank you. Right there. We're basically nothing. Dang dude. There's quarter time. Quarter inch can make a lot of difference, Todd. All righty. The fourth longest arms belong to.
Seaton, no Connor.
proportioned. Right. So I can just down to this Marvin or Paulie. One has the shortest arms
and one has the longest arms. Yes, Paul. I'm competitive. But there's no way I could win this. I don't I don't have long arms. There's no way. I have to be last. Okay, Paulie. Don't want to preemptive. Classic you. Yeah. You're arms are looking long as hell right now. We've got a lot. Just in the last like 30 seconds. They've gotten long, dude. You're actually like six feet long. It could be a long neck to scapula situation. We didn't really factor that in.
“I'm pulling for Marvin. I think he needs a victory in his life. Be nice. Okay. The shortest arms on the”
Dan Patrick show belong to Paul Papps. 27 and a half. So Marvin. I did it. I did it. You're a winner. He's hard for it. This is for you. I can't even reach Marvin high five. Oh, Marvin. Long arms. Little hands, arms. Little hands. Little hands. That's the new T-shirt. That's a long arms little hands. I want to thank my mom for the long arms. I want to blame my dad who wasn't there for the small hands. I mean, thank you, Dan Patrick. Yeah, but your dad left you a money in his will. He did. Yeah. I mean, I would like him to be there. But anyway,
John, man, thank you guys so much. I really, really appreciate that I can hug the trophy. I just can't grab. Congratulations, though. Adominating performance by Marvin. That's kind of like being in VD and LVD in one year. Well, I am a police family. Okay. But if I said, you could have the biggest hands or the longest arms. Long arms NBA combine. They don't do how big your hands are. How long arms. Okay. Marvin's, your arms are 31 inches long. Yeah. That's like way bigger than everybody else. Yeah.
Kind of shadow the competition. Yep. Long and athletic. No, it's never said that. No, no. Long. Yeah.
Well, congratulations. That's a wonderful moment for you. Thank you. Yeah. Little susten me.
“Oh, definitely. I think we need the recount. I don't know if everybody got measured the same one.”
We're talking about quarter of it. There's no way he did this accurately. Yeah. I take a fence to that. I said you guys should do it with your shirts off for accuracy. No one took me up on it. Big to spilled creepy. Todd said. Yeah. Todd got his right. I wanted to take his pants off. That's a big deal. That's a lot of ass arms reaching out. Okay. Whew. I'm going to have to take a breather here. Let that sink in. Last call for phone calls. What we learned once in store for
Monday. We were basically tired. Just a little bit. No, we weren't. That's great first. No, we weren't.
And my hands dominated your hands. Yeah. Yeah. So competitive. We're back after this. Fox sports radio has the best

The nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is now the most prolific child killer in modern British history. Everyone thought they knew how it ended. A verdict, a villain, a nurse named Lucy Leppi. Lucy Leppi has been found guilty. But what if we didn't get the full story? A moment you look at the whole picture of the case collection.
I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, we followed the evidence and hear from the people that lived it to ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Leppi was. No voicing of any skepticism are doubt. It'll call so much harm at every single level of the British establishment of this as well. Listen to doubt the case of Lucy Leppi on the I-Hard Radio App, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
I'm Nancy Glass, host of the burden of guilt season two podcast. This is a story about a horrendous lie that destroyed two families. Late one night Bobbie Gumpwright became the victim of a random crime. He pulls the gun, tells me to lie down on the ground. He identified to remain Hudson as the perpetrator. To remain was sentenced to 99 years. I'm like, "Lord, this can't be real. I thought it was a mistaken identity." The best lie is partial truth. For 22 years only two people knew the
Truth until a confession changed everything.

“If you can control the behavior of anybody around you, what kind of life would you have?”
Can you hypnotically persuade someone to buy a car? When you look at your car, you're going to become overwhelmed with such good feelings. Can you hypnotize someone into sleeping with you? Can you get someone to join your cult? NLP was used on me to access my subconscious. NLP, aka Neuro-Englisted Programming, is a blend of hypnosis, linguistics, and psychology. Fans say it's like finally getting a user manual for your brain. It's a engineering consciousness.
Mind games is the story of NLP. It's crazy cast of disciples and the fake doctor who invented it at a new age comune and sold it to guys in suits. He stood trial for murder and got acquitted.

Here how they got it on the 6th Bureau podcast. I now have several terabytes of an MSS officer no doubt, no question of his life. And that's the Unicorn. No one had ever seen anything like that. It was unbelievable. This is a story of the inner workings of the MSS, and how one man's ambition

second longest arms on this show. We have French onion soup. It was being heated in the oven.
It was taken out. I grabbed it. Burn my big hands. I'm clearly rattled. Clearly rattled. Marvin, congratulations once again. Anything is possible. Very helpful. Very helpful for your emotional rescue, you know? Yeah, because early in the show, I already do go to therapy today. Yes, see. I'm not a, I'm very happy with where I placed. I'm super suss, though, on the you're telling me that Marvin's arms are three inches longer than Paul's. I don't believe that.
That's just seems. That seems like a noticeable difference. Like we would be able to see that when everyone's standing next to each other. Marvin used to be a backroom guy. And maybe there is a home court advantage with somebody in the backroom. I get a friendly measuring time. I didn't see the measurements. I only did mine. I did what I was required to do. I stripped down, took off and all my clothes, and then I let them measure me. Yes, Marvin. I've been mode ray $100, but that was
for fantasy football. That had nothing to do with this. Okay. All right. But congratulations, Marvin has the longest arms of the Dan Patrick show. Allegedly. Yeah. George Pickens, as expected,
got the franchise tag for the Dallas Cowboys. See, make just under $30 million, Pauli? They
estimate it for wider severs to be a little over $28 million this season. Are you not going to be happy about this? This to me feels like it's not over with George Pickens in the Cowboys. By the way, draft Kings just sent me odds for NFL coach of the year, odds for defensive player of the year, odds for NFL offensive player of the year. I didn't ask for it, but I got it. Jamir Gibbs is the favorite for offensive player of the year. The best non-corderback, then Jamir Chase, Bishan Robinson,
Pukin' to Kooa, Christian Caffron. NFL defensive player of the year, odds. Miles Garrett, with a large margin over Mike Parsons, Max Crosby, Aden Hutchinson, will Anderson, Jr. the third. NFL coach of the year, odds. Anybody want to take a guess? The leading candidate, NFL coach of the year, odds according to draft Kings. Todd? I'm going to say Sean Payton. How
About that?
Why can't I say Sean Payton? Well, because it's your Broncos. He's not on the list. Marvin, John Harbour. John Harbourl's correct. That's great one. That's not great. Because they're going to win three more games in the last year, so he's going to be playing with me. They might be this year's Patriots. They're going to win seven games. Yes, Marvin. Yeah, but Sean Payton is to me a bad guess because they want to AFC Championship game. So you're not going to give him
coach of the year for doing something he was supposed to do. Jesse Minter is second on the list. Joe Brady, third on the list, and then it's Robert Salah. Everybody's big on the Titans of Robert Salah for some reason. Why is that such a... They think he's going to all of a sudden work wonders immediately in Nashville. But I call it the S on there. I don't know why I picked Sean Payton when they didn't kick the field, go to go up 10 nothing with a backup quarterback, so that was a silly... Wow.
It was a silly suggestion. Wow. That prediction. Why don't you let it go, Todd?
I'm never going to let that go. Yeah, let it go. Let it go. Let it go. Let's see Sean and Indianapolis.
So Sean, what's on your mind? I feel bad for Marvin in the winter time. Please two short gloves too big. I was going to ask you guys with the biggest shot on the line in NBA. Who do you want? Reggie, Larry, Robert Ori, Ray Allen, or Steph Curry. I'm going to take Larry and take Larry. I probably take Reggie second. And there's no wrong answers, but I have seen them hit big shots. Steph hits a lot of threes, but I've seen Reggie in a big moment, Ray in a big moment, Larry.
“There's no wrong answer in there. By can't include myself, right? I think that's what”
was said here. Beca in Charlotte. Hi, Beca. What's on your mind? Hi, Dan, how are you? Great. Great. Beca. Great. Dan, I'm getting very tomorrow. Okay. And my fiance is the biggest fan of you. I actually was going to write you a letter. I see you do your day and hour wedding, or if I say it, I'm sorry, but I thought my fiance would be more excited about you than me in that day. So unfortunately, Dan, I didn't write you that letter, but I wanted to do two things first, crazy, wild goofy.
If you guys want to come down to Charleston, South Carolina, tomorrow for wedding, guys are all welcome to. And part two, I just wanted to save you at any advice. I know that you're in your
way of having amazing marriage. I've heard all about it through my fiance, so I wanted to see
any advice for a couple of steps to get in the marriage. Well, thank you for the invite. Kind of short notice back up, but we do appreciate that. It feels like a foe invite in my opinion. I mean, day before they know we can't make it. Hey, but I'm thinking about, hey, I was going to write you a letter. I don't know. There seems to be a pattern here, Becca, and I'm worried about that for your fiance, but this is what I'll tell you. And this is what I tell my kids. You fall in love.
“You stay married because you like each other. And you have to enjoy being around each other.”
And a lot of people look at me like, "Well, of course I like her. Of course I like him." When maybe the love is it as strong or the attraction, it's about you like being around each other. And as long as you like being around each other, you have conversation, you go for a walk, you go to dinner, nothing more painful for me when I see a couple at dinner, and they're not talking to one another. I hate that feeling.
I wish I had more of those moments with Todd where he didn't talk when we were at dinner, but we're not a couple anymore. Not anymore. No. But we had some good time. We did. We had some sounds delicious. But Becca, good luck. We're all counting on you. And tell your fiance, thank you for listening to the program. All right. Just stay in sports history, Paul. A quick one, 2003, Michael Jordan, the first 40 year old
to score 40 in the NBA. All right. So it's the first 40 40. Yes. All right. Okay. He was can say, go. Let's go around the room. What we learned in the program. Todd, you learned anything tonight. I did. In an awkward moment, Marvin got caught by his wife in the living room,
“watching the combine. Get out of the gutter. Satan, what did you learn today?”
Marvin's arms are abnormally longer than all of ours. Yeah. Marvin, what did you learn today? I'm too much as longer than everyone.
Paulie, what did you learn today? Redemption day for Mars. Yeah, it is. It's going to be an incredible
Weekend for Marvin.
now. Yes, you. The average male has an arm about 30 inches long. A lot of fun this week.
