Join me, Lily Herman, as we dive into the under-export pockets of F1, including the astrology of the current grid, the story of the sports most consequential driver strike, and plenty of other mishab scandals and sagas that have made Formula One a delightful, decadent, dumpster fire for more than 75 years. Listen to no grip on the eye-harp radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
A shocking public murder. This is one of the most dramatic events that really ever happened in New York City politics. A screen, good-down, good-down, those are shots. A tragedy that's now forgotten, and a mystery that may or may not have been political, that may have been about sex.
Listen to Worshack, murder and city hall, on the eye-harp radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Lori Siegel, and on my new podcast, Mostly Human, I'll take you to some wild corners of the tech world.
I'm about to go on a date with an AI companion, add a real world cafe right here near

Oh, what do you like to get? Yeah, you're a Spartan, is that what I'm talking about? Exactly! So whether your bracket is busted, or you just want the real talk on what's happening during the tournament, open your free eye-harp radio app, search Plagrant and funny with Carrie
Champion and Jamel Hill, and listen now. Presented by Capital One, Founding Partner of Eye-Heart Women Sports. In 2023, Bachelor-Star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins, but the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctor this particular test twice in silence, right?
I doctor the test once. It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Regular lesbian, I can imagine it. My mind was blown.
I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trapped. Laura, Scott still police.
As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences.
Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the Eye-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You are listening to the Dan Patrick Show on Fox Sports Radio. Final hour on this Tuesday, Reggie Miller will stop by. He's all fired up.
Got strong opinion on Dan Hurley. Also the meltdown by Duke. And he wants to tell us who his MVP is this year. That'll be in about 20 minutes from now. This weekend NBC in peacock, PGA Tour. It's TPC San Antonio.
The Valero Texas Open coverage begins Saturday, 330 Eastern followed by the final round on Sunday at 2.30 on NBC and peacock, which is where you can see this program. Thank you for downloading the app. We say good morning to our radio affiliates around the country.
Eye-Heart Radio, Fox Sports Radio, as well. Set-in poll question for the final hour of this previously a word-nominated program. We say good morning, everybody. We've got two up there right now.
How present will Tiger Woods be at the masters? 75% of the audience say he won't be there at all. Just 10% say that he'll play. Decent amount of people say he might be there for some events.
“I think that's kind of where he's going.”
I think he's going to show up. But yeah, the things he has to do. Final four betting lines, the Illinois is now two and a half. Over UConn was one and a half yesterday. And Michigan against Arizona,
Michigan is still favored by one and a half. 8773DP show operator Tyler sitting by. He'll take your phone calls. The NFL League meetings are going on as we speak. And it was a year ago at this time.
We were talking about the Tush push. And I thought they were going to eliminate it, because the Eagles winning a Super Bowl. Nobody can stop it. Nobody wants to see it.
And then all of a sudden they were worried about player safety, the aesthetics of the game. They were giving you all kinds of building reasons why they had to get rid of this play. Haven't heard much about the Tush push, have you? Eagles don't win the Super Bowl.
All of a sudden defense is doing a little better job in stopping Jalen Hertz,
coming off the edge, making sure they get a good pop on him. They're not even voting on it this year. What happened about the safety of the game? They were trying to make up something. Last year it was the topic at the NFL owners meetings.
This year, not a peep. It's a topic that is not a topic at the NFL owners meetings. But it's because they know it's here. Maybe it's not going to be used as much.
Maybe defenses have figured it out a little bit more so than when we first start.
You know, we first saw this. But they were trying to get information on player safety. And there wasn't anything there. They were trying to make up something to get rid of the play. All aesthetically, and you're right, aesthetically, it's not pleasing.
But the Eagles figured out something before anybody else did. I can't penalize them because they figured out something and you didn't.
“Now you need to figure out something and see what the Eagles do.”
But the percentage of Tush pushes and success are down. Therefore, nobody's worried about ruining the integrity of the game. I can't even watch that Tush push. But if the Eagles, they won the Super Bowl this past year. Tush push would be on the agenda.
You imagine the Eagles win the Super Bowl on a Tush push? Oh my god. People will be apoplectic over there. Yes, Pauline. I have a couple other things that the committee will vote on this coming week.
The first one is off the on-site kick.
The original rule in 2024 limited on-site kicks to only the fourth quarter when a team is trailing and they have to announce it. It's almost shocking that they made this rule. This new tweak would say you could do the on-site kick at any point during the game. Now, it doesn't say you have to clear.
I think you still have to declare because the other team lines up one way you line up one way. So it could be at any point during the game. Not a surprise, but better. And the other rule would be, they're calling this one no offense. The DK Metcalf rule.
If a player on the sidelines gets into an altercation with a fan, like DK Metcalf did, I think that was Detroit. He did not capitalize because the refs on the field didn't see that. If the sky judge sees something like this, the player could be ejected from the game or penalized.
That's on the on the books. To vote on. Okay. Yes, Todd. I'm with Paul.
“Any rule you have to show your strategy.”
That is just insane. How did that ever, how was that ever a thing? That's like I'm throwing a fastball here. Well, we're going to pass some throwing a screen pass. That's just why you let you know.
Yeah, just get rid of it. I mean, I know you want the onside kick there. But the fact that I have to tell you what's happening. And even, you know, the movement on the onside kick, they don't want collisions.
I understand that. That's tough and football. Yes. It has a violent sport. I know they don't want it to be even more violent,
but the, hey, we're going to do an onside kick. I don't know. One of the greatest plays in Super Bowl history onside kick by the Saints. Yes, Paul, here's the issue. The new dynamic kickoff has one line up, one set up.
And when you declare for an onside kick, it's completely different set up.
“So you have to have the declaration because they know what you're doing.”
But there's no talk about them getting rid of the onside. Even though the percentage, I think, is 4% were converted. Okay, the touche push isn't aesthetically pleasing. Neither is this onside kick formation. It's not aesthetically pleasing.
I mean, I'll take the regular kick off. All right, we've gotten used to it. We get some movement there. We've had some, you know, returns, percentages are up for the returns there. Yes, Paul.
I have a solution.
As I always do, good idea, bad idea.
You want to cut down on collision or people getting collided into on an onside kick. One defender, one return guy, those are the only people in the play. The kicker kicks it and whoever gets it. You cut down on people getting hit. It's just two dudes.
Yeah, but the field's too big for that one guy. You could times that. Yeah, the NFL league meetings though. I think they wrap up today. But I don't think anything is front and center on the agenda.
Feels like it's global domination. The flag football is still a big deal. Because that can give you global entry into certain countries that aren't ready to have tackle football. You know, having the infrastructure for that, having the equipment for that.
You can play flag football. These NFL teams are going to have their countries. Maybe they play their games there. Maybe there's flag football game that's played prior to the NFL game.
There's a lot of different things that the NFL is trying to do.
And, you know, games all, you know, every day of the week. Now we're going to Australia. I mean, we're going to the four corners. Is it the four corners of the earth? Checking.
You just want to make sure that's the saying. Okay. Yeah. Didn't know how many quarters there are. And I check there are no corners.
There are no corners on the earth. Yeah. And let's, unless you're a flat earther, that's you're a globalist. And there's no corners. But didn't one of the astronauts send a picture.
Somebody sent a picture recently. Just to say, if you're a flat earther, this should change all of that. The picture that was sent. I'm like, I don't know.
I never understood that with flat earthers.
Like, what happens when you get to the end of the earth? Remember, we had this discussion. What is the town that's on the edge? Yeah. Yeah.
The internet is loaded with videos of people attempting to prove the earth is flat and only proving that it's round. Yeah. And it's, they're the best videos to watch because they're like, see, I'm telling you, when you fire this like laser, it's going to go straight on forever.
“And they're like, Jimmy, you should be able to see that.”
You're so far away. And they're like, I can't see. And we're like, all right, we'll move it up a little bit. Move it up a little bit. Move it up.
Oh. That's weird. I can see the only way that could happen is if the earth is round. It's the best of the best videos. But who came to the conclusion and then others go, man, you're right?
Yes, Todd. Is there anyone ever fallen off like a cliff, the edge of the earth? Like, you could be in the back of a supermarket and you go a little past the parking lot and you just fall forever out the end? What do you think?
I'm going to say no.
So I don't know what these flat earthers are showing.
Unless you have evidence of at least one person physically falling off the earth when it comes to an end if it's like a square. Whatever you do, when you're at a whole food, don't go out the back door because then you're going to fall. Oh, my broccoli.
Oh, awesome. Yes, I see. We are about to get just-- Oh, I know. Day lose of studying your laying.
I know. Content right now. I know. I stay in my lane when I go around the globe. You stay in that lane all the way.
I can't.
“I can keep going around and around around.”
Yes, yes, fully. I look back at this at 5th century BC, the Greeks speculated that the earth was round. Before that, all flat people thought. Yes, done.
But if there's an actual person in space, if NASA people are proving with photos, they're actually up there, out there, showing that it's round. What person that says that it's flat has any kind of proof--
you would think a space person would have a better idea to what it looks like. It could be fake news. They could all in on it. Yeah, they could be AI.
Yeah. Who is the video of-- I don't remember if it was like Buzz Aldrin or somebody, but somebody went up to-- I don't remember if it was him or not,
but they went up to him just on the street. We're like, yeah, moon landing, it's fake. And he punched them right in the middle. I think that was Buzz Aldrin. I think Buzz Aldrin, who just--
I think he just died recently. It smashed a dude around. No. Like Buzz Aldrin was all business. There were no nonsense.
Yeah, fully. September 02, Buzz Aldrin leaving the Beverly Hills hotel got confronted by a conspiracy person and dropped them. There should be a law. You land on the moon.
You could punch out one person. I think that's only fair. Yes, Todd.
“What is the motivation to prove one way or the other?”
What do you win? You win like a teddy bear? What do you get if you prove one way or the other whether it's a round globe or a square globe? What is it even matter?
What it is. Your questions are really difficult to answer. But that's what's so silly. People are so passionate about something that doesn't even matter.
Who cares if it's a triangle or a rhombus? What does it matter what their globe is shaped like? I don't get it. Well, they think that we didn't land on the moon. Buzz Aldrin stole a lot of things.
Oh, he is. Tell my bad. But that's great news. And it's better than the other way. Yes.
And you're next. Oh, man. What the heck? I know he had a younger girlfriend. Oh, they're all younger girls.
Buzz Aldrin 96 and Roland. Did he lose his wife recently? God, I shouldn't be doing this line. He imagined, like, you got to take out the garbage. I was just on the moon.
Yes. You're about to get knocked in the nose too for all of this. Don't run into Buzz anytime soon. Buzz saw. James and Iot.
Todd, see me and get Buzz Aldrin to join us. I'm on the case. All right. Buzz him. You know what?
Brackage challenge. Next year, Buzz Aldrin. He's all driven on that. Oh. Yes, Paul.
Buzz Aldrin four wives. He's on the same time. At the same time. He's outlived all of them. Yeah.
He's had four wives, though. And he had one on the moon. I mean, he would see her. That's enough. I'm not going to be back for a while.
I'm going to booty call. That's good. Good that James and Iot. Hi, James. What's on your mind?
Hey, good morning fellas. First of all, how this year didn't you guys think it nominated for a sports.
I mean, I will never know.
Secondly, you were asking about the move for Danny Hurley.
I think they called that the peacock.
You know, you got the big guy who like six is chest out.
“Try to go bump in into people like you show an off.”
Like he, I've heard it's called. He's trying to peacock. Yeah, I think I used that expression. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He was, he was peacocking.
I mean, he was like a Mick Janger. I mean, he was peacock in there. But thank you, James. Let's see. Uncle, little peas, peas, Uncle Piz.
The donk will beat the Dan, but thank you.
No, I start playing with this call.
Tyler left off the A. Tyler, you left off the A. If you put Piz, ZZ, I'm Piz off at you. All right, I'm sorry real quick. No, I just wanted to jump in real quick on the Lost Vegas name. I have two on three all to know about one.
We go without the S and we go with the Lost Vegas double down. Or we just go with the original baby Lost Vegas mobsters. Oh, I'm sure the NBA would love that. Bring in the mobsters.
“Fresh and Milwaukee, high-fresh, what's on your mind?”
What's up, guys? How y'all doing today? Great, fresh.
Got a question with a dilemma.
If you take all the NBA players and put them in my positions, all shooting guards, all top five, all shooting guards, my position, what position wins to championship? So if I have all centers, all power forwards, all... Yes.
So point guards, who wins? Yes. Ah, okay. I'll give that some thought, fresh. I'll ask, uh, I'll ask, uh, Reggie.
David South Dakota, then we'll take a break. Make way for Reggie. Hey, Dave. Hey, Dan, good morning, everybody. Uh, 510 and from 332 and now 175.
Say the reason I saved my weight that way is, uh, I had gastric my, my pass through a degree about 20 years ago and discovered, uh, after losing all the weight that I have some back pain, and I've been managing, and that brings you to the Tiger Woods situation seems like, um, now listen, I will say, maybe maybe I'm not privy to all of the information that even maybe you have.
But it seems like there's a little rush to judgment here that because Tiger had medication is pocketed, that there's an addiction problem. I've been taking similar medication for 20 years and I drive. Yeah, but you haven't had these moments where he is, you know, out of it. I mean, I didn't charge him with anything they did.
Uh, he was driving under the influence. All I'm doing is reading the report. Uh, he's flipped his car a couple of times now.
“Remember the one time he was pulled over the side of the road.”
Couldn't even walk. This, yes, you can use these drugs in moderation under a, under doctors care. He's got, hide your code on in his pocket and gets arrested and doesn't, you know, take those out of his pocket. All right, let me take a break.

I'm Lori Siegel, a longtime tech journalist, and consider my new podcast most...
your bridge to the future.
Anyone can now be an entrepreneur, anyone can build an app, and it's very empowering. Each week, I'll speak to the people building that future, and we're going to break down what all of this innovation actually means for you. What I come to realize is that when people think that their dating is AI companion, they're actually dating the companies that create this.
We're experiencing one of the greatest tech accelerations in human history. And let's be honest, that can be messy. There's no playbook for what to do when an AI model hallucinates a story about you. But it's my belief that we should all benefit from this moment. Mostly human, we'll show you how.
My goal is to give you the playbook. So, you can benefit.
The reason I say agency is because, like, if you can give power back to people,
“then I think that's probably the best thing we can do for your mental health.”
Listen to mostly human on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your favorite shows. If you're trying to keep up with everything happening on and off the court, we've got you covered on the podcast, flagrant and funny. You look at the top four number one seeds.
What do you think UCLA is going to do right down that for me, my friend? Obviously, you kind of see overwhelmed favorite in this tournament. But I'm the honest, I think people are kind of sleeping on Texas. Experts are suggesting that UCLA is the number one challenger to you con. And that right after that would be Texas.
S and C is so deep and so they can just about everything. I really is annoying. So, it's UCLA, Texas, South Carolina, LSU. Only once I can possibly upset you con. On flagrant and funny, we're giving our unfiltered takes on the biggest moments the conversations

This is Worshack, Murder at City Hall. Could this have happened in City Hall? Somebody tell me that! July 2003, Councilman James E. Davis arrives at New York City Hall with a guest.
Both men are carrying concealed weapons. And in less than 30 minutes, both of them will be dead. Have everybody in the chambers of dogs, a shocking public murder. A scream, get down, get down, those are shots, those are shots, get down. A charismatic politician, you know, he just bent the rules all the time.
“I still have a weapon, and I could shoot you.”
And an outsider with a secret. He alleged he was effective flat down. That may have been not a bit political, that may have been about six. Listen to Worshack, Murder at City Hall on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you could picture podcasts.
In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckard found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. "You doctor this particular test twice in selling, correct?"
I doctor the test once. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. "I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Some like the greatest disinfectant." They would uncover a disturbing pattern.

More phone calls coming up. Grant Hill on the program tomorrow. And Michigan State had coach Tom Iso. Reggie Miller was on the call next thunder on Sunday night. Coast to Coast Tuesday presents a double header on NBC and peacock tonight.
Kevin Durant, the Rockets play host to Jalen Brunson in the next from Houston at 80 Eastern on NBC. Reggie there with Mike Terrico. I'm getting these text messages from you. Late last night, all this, like you're telling me what you want to talk about.
You're producing your segment.
All right, I'll let you go. "Not at all. We work in conjunction." "Theator." "I thought maybe all of a sudden you fell in love with SGA for the MVP." "Not all of a sudden. Not all of a sudden."
"Or you made your decision that SGA is the MVP on Sunday night. Is that what happened?" "Not only Sunday night, but just watching the game last night in that overtime, it's a real or versus the number one seed in the Eastern Conference. You try it. Again, I know they were without Cade. I know they were without Durham. I know they were without Isaiah Stewart. But the thunder were missing some pieces as well.
“J. Dubbe didn't play. I say a heart and shine. But who shows up?”
To me, SGA should be. Again, I said this on air on Sunday.
There's levels to this. And I am never going to take anything away from Winby.
Because Winby deserves and he will be winning these awards for a long time. But if we are going to give out the highest award in our game, which is the MVP of the regular season, I get it regular season. I'm going with SGA just for the simple fact. Minutes played. I mean, I look at Winby's minutes and they both missed around the same amount of time. I believe SGA missed 12 games. Winby has missed 15 games.
Eight and four without SGA, 10 and five without Winby. But for a while there, Winby was on a minutes researcher. Yeah. And if you look at minutes, and this was a wild step. LeBron has played less games than Winby. But it has more minutes than Winby right now. That's the point of making. Yeah, Winby's coming off a blood clot. And look at the numbers that he put up. And look at the season that they've had.
And if we do this, because this is what, you know, some of you analysts like to do. Yes. Certain guys don't play defense and, you know, did any of those analysts say anything about James Harden when he was winning MVP that he didn't play, right? Nobody said that. Now all of a sudden, Luca can't play defense, Joker done play defense, Jalen Brunson does
“and play defense. If we're going to use that, then Winby defensively is an A plus, correct?”
Yes. Okay. As an offensive player. B plus. Okay. B plus SGA. A plus A minus B plus. He's an A plus score. A minus to B plus defender.
That's really friendly. Oh, no, no. He was second in steals a year ago
on his way to the MVP. There are a lot of guys who are up there in steals who aren't great defenders, right? Okay. So are you saying that SGA does not play defense? No. I'm, I'm saying he's nowhere near what, when B is, oh, no, he's not an A plus for Winby in defense. B plus in offense. Maybe even I'll get a main body. Okay. All right. I'm just saying, nobody talks about SGA's defense. Nobody. Now he might be highly rated. Nobody talks about that.
But I want to know where the analyst were when James Harden was considered the best player in the game. Yes. And Reg, James Harden doesn't play defense. Now he probably was up there in steals. I'll bet you. Larry Bird used to be up there in steals. And Larry was in a good defender. He was a great team. Okay. Okay. But I've been saying SGA is the MVP. I think he's going to win the MVP. I think Lucas the best player in the game. And I think the best score in our game. I will say that.
But he's the best rebounder score in a, he's leading in a sixth. I would, no, I think that is up there.
“Yokeage. I mean, Yokeage. That's what I'm saying. Yokeage is the best player in the game in my opinion.”
I agree too. Okay. But if, if he don't, if Wendy's not getting it this year, he's getting it next year. If he plays enough games? Yes. Yes. But he'll, I think from this point forward SGA will win it. But starting next year, Wendy's on the clock. Yeah, he's on the
clock to win the third point of the year. He's on the clock to win MVP. But also to, can we
place you the spurs in a playoff? Siri. I agree. I agree. Okay. We're going to get a MVP. He hasn't even played one playoff game. Again, regular season. I get it. But I want to see the spurs in a playoff series. But I don't think that MVP regular season should be predicated on how well you've done in the
Postseason.
It's the regular season. It's almost as if, what if, what if the spurs knock out OKC,
“SGA wins MVP in the spurs veto KC? We should come back on here and reevaluate what”
then they've given the MVP to the wrong gun. Correct. Well, well, guess what? They're on a collision corner. So let's find out. All I know is a dude started the season 24 and one. And right now, they're 18 and two since he all started. Again, I know the spurs are 18 and two are 19 and two as well. But I'm leaning towards, I'm not leaning. I am with SGA as the MVP right now. All right. You sent me some notes last night. You went back on VP.
Braille and Mullins shot and Dan Hurley. And then you want to talk about what Duke did wrong.
OK. Let's, let's start with what Duke did wrong 10 seconds to go. Then we can get to the
“shot and then we could get to Dan Hurley. And this is why you in practice, whether you're at”
doing great school level, high school, and obviously in college, you work on situational basketball. OK. And nine time score, foul situation, there was no reason for Booser to attempt to throw the ball over. I know all of the Yukon Husky's players were going for the steel and all that. But all Cain had to do was hold onto the basketball, excate dribble, dribble left, right? They were going to foul now. He did not have to give up that basketball. So no anytime score, because they were up
two at the time, even if he makes one or two with no time out flat, it was going to be virtually impossible for Yukon. But when you give up the basketball, when you attempt, all it took was a deflection, which happened, steel, bucket, no time play, situational basketball. And I'm not saying they don't practice that at Duke. Obviously they co-shire that system they do. But when you get caught up in the moment, people don't understand how big some of these moments are. In the heat of
the moment, stuff happens. And I feel for the Booser boys, I feel for Carlos, it's tough. But I was telling people this too. This too shall pass. He's only 18. I felt bad that I felt bad. But I have to give Yukon credit, because it was a great defensive play. A pass and Karaban had just
made a tough shot. His was going to be contested. You see the trailer always worry about the trailer.
And he finds Mullins, who has, you know, wide open from 37 feet out, and he was able to take a jumper. And if there's one player on that team that you didn't want to leave, it was brilliant. I mean, arguably the best shooter on that team has even as a freshman. And what a moment for him, his dad Josh, a kid from Indiana. It's a who's your type, ending for them. Because that's all we do in Indiana. I'm an adopted who's your son. When I say we, I consider myself a who's your,
that's all those kids doing in Indiana is, is big of moments like that. How did they lose him to Yukon, right? It doesn't matter how they lost him. We still claim him. Okay, it is a chance for a shot like that to come home to Indiana for the final four. His dad Josh is family, a greenfield central where he played high school. He was, uh, Mr. Indiana basketball. All these things were set up for that moment. And by the way, that's a logo shot people. Yeah. I mean, that's the 35 40 foot shot
to advance your team to the five or four kudos to you, Mr. Mullins. Reggie Miller on the program. It'll be the next and rockets at 80's turn on NBC and on peacock.
“Okay, then you have the Dan Hurley moment with Roger Ares, the official. How would you describe it?”
And if you're the official, what would you've done? Wow, what a level of discretion here by the official because you can easily make a case. And I am, I'm going to say you consider and say I am surprised. A technical file was not called because you could have, you could have lost it on that. I understand celebrating even jumping on the floor because there were still times left in the game
Some of the huskies were on the floor.
game for that. None was given. But the mean rug in the flight, is it a headbutt? No, no,
“head to head. Oh, they were, were they touching one another? But that's on a headbutt. You and John,”
he had headbutt, but he, smart, mean rug. I think they rubbed for hedge. Okay, so they had butt. They didn't headbutt, they had rubbed. They met together. Very surprised. I was not called, I give the official an officiating crew a lot of credit for swallowing their whistles because as unbelievable moment that was for Rayland Mullins, for UConn
basketball, it could have been mirrored in controversy. If that official would have blew the whistle
and gave Coach Hurley a technical for them. So that would have been two shots from anyone, I assume. Yeah. And you could have easily lost that game. Well, that was by the official, I think that's
“two people in a moment, a public moment who understood each other. Yeah. And that's why nothing was”
called. I think there was history there between that particular official. Yeah. And Dan Hurley, because again, you could have easily made a case and far be it for me to support anything that Duke does, sorry, Grant. But if you're a Duke fan, you could easily make a case. That should have been a technical found. Do you hate Duke? No. Did you do? Duke is there are a lot like the next. They just think they're better than everyone else. That's all. They think they're brand of
basketball. They're style of basketball. Their players are better than it. I had this conversation with Billy King all the time. One of my best friends in life, my assistant coach with the Pacers and we just go back and forth all the time about Duke basketball, the brotherhood. And I get it. I love them. I love Coach K. I love a lot of the players have played with a few Duke players
“in my lifetime, but they just think they're better than everyone else. And that's what”
that's why kind of robs people the wrong way. How can the next field this way? They don't win anything. They won. They've been successful. But 1973. They had a good run in the 90s. They had a great run in the 90s. They didn't win. They went to the finals twice. They knocked on the door. And not everyone can be a champion like you. All right. We're all on your coach. What changes will the next make? Are they going to make a change? Can we see how this plays out? You got
you got two guys who were bad defenders in Brunson and Carl Anthony towns. And in the playoffs, they're just going to single those guys out and go at them. I will say this about Brunson. He leads the league and he leads this team in charges taken. To me, that's a form of playing defense. I'm sorry. And you can say what you want about him. I want Jalen Brunson on my team in close moments and play off basketball because the Duke just has it. So you can hate on cat all
you want. I'm never going to hate on Jalen Brunson because that's it. I was going to play the game.
I love Jalen Brunson. I don't want Carl Anthony towns. Do you want Carl Anthony towns if you're Jalen Brunson? You just answered my question. You just answered my question. No. The pause. You don't want Carl Anthony towns. Yes. Your second option. He's a good player. Okay. He's a really good shooter. He's a great shooter. And that's it. But at times he does get lost in a lot of times. Good teams and great players will find a way to
put him in picking roles in certain situations. He's gotten a little bit better. I know you got to choose your words carefully because you're running. Yeah. All the next fans out there don't like anyway. So it doesn't matter what you say about Carl Anthony towns. They're seeing the same thing you and I. Yes. They see the same thing. Oh, by the way. You got a name for Vegas that the NBA
Seattle still gets the super sun.
a lot of ways we can go with this. What are some of the what are some of the names that are being loaded? Yeah. They're not Las Vegas. That somebody said the mobsters. Oh, no. No. Okay. Here was a suggestion. The Las Vegas strip. No. Because people are going to think about strippers. No. No. Well, don't you think about that anyway with Vegas? Wow. You don't have to be in Las Vegas. No. The Las Vegas, you know, I can't say high rollers. No. The Las Vegas.
I don't think about this because you could be you could be very creative with this franchise. Yeah, but you got to be careful with the whole gambling thing. I know even though there's so much
“coming up with the Las Vegas mobsters really. Come on. You're not a gambler, are you?”
Not anymore. I mean, you supply what you pay is a waste. I know. It's a waste. I mean, I don't mind going there and playing roulette. You know, that's like 50, 50, though a few numbers out there, see your number heads big dear. Did you ever put your jersey number
out there? Always. I go with jersey numbers. I know it's ages. I go with I go with MJ. I go with Michael.
I go with Larry. Yeah. Wait. You. There's a block. I go with 31 32 33 Charles 34. Like when you're playing roulette, you know, you, you could do a block of numbers. I can't. See, this is a bad item as a gambler. What's it called when you do a block? There's somebody, Holly, you could do a block of numbers. You play one chip and four squares on four squares. So I would do 31 32 33 34 and if one of them hit, then we're going to make it right. But what you put money on 23.
Yes, I do. Okay. I have. Okay. Yes, I do. It never hit for me.
Mike never hit. Mike never hit for me. But it was you and it was magic Larry and
Barry. Yes. We're 30 and so on. And then Charles 34. Yes. Okay. That's my go to. Michael never bet on 31. He would never. No, he would never. Or 11. I say. Look at you. Look at you starting things. Oh, I will go 10 from my Olympic number. So I would do 10 11. I did do Isaiah. 12 was someone famous too. I'm trying to think 13. I did from our Jackson and Dammer. You know, so there was blocks I would do. Go to talk to you. Love you, Taylor. Love you.
“Thanks. Thanks me again whenever you need to. We'll text you in the middle of the night.”
And by the way, you responding to me and sleep again. I know you're a vampire.
No, sleep. Never. No, I can't. My mind's racing, you know.
It's always racing. Oh, we're a team. We're a good team. Say nice things about Carl Anthony Townston. I will. But he's got a rotate rotate on. We saw it. Duran's going to get 30. I'll have the next tonight. Winning. Oh, you do. Okay. All right. In Houston. And Houston. Jalen Brunzel will take two charges tonight. Hey, form of defense. Tune in to watch Jalen Brunzel take a charge tonight. Carl Anthony Towns
to try in the pick and roll. That's in your hate mail to hear it or not. This one that's killing
“your team. Not me guys. Not me. Reggie will be on the call with Mike Cherico and Zora Stevenson.”
That'll be coming up tonight. Thank you, Redge. Let's take a break or death. Love y'all. Last call for phone calls. What we learned what's in store tomorrow after this. ending of the game when he had his forehead confrontation with the official Roger Ares.
“And he was on the triple option hosted by Urban Meyer, Mark Engrum, and Rob Stone.”
And they asked Dan Hurley about the confrontation with the official. Really at that point in the game, we had it one. And he's such an easy guy to work with during the game. But I thought he was coming over to chess, but me and celebrate the shot. You know, because it's not like that for me with him, you know, like my experience with him has been, we have at one every game. I've been greeted every fall, but his, like, so that was in no
way was that, like, me and a ref that I had been at there for the whole game. Like,
at other points of the game where I had my arm around them walking out of the time out,
you know, we were cracking jokes and laughing. With that situation out of one of my cat, you know, when I was on my man's neck, you know, screaming into his neck like, yeah, and that was, that was a guy that's, like, coming right up to the line and losing his mind. But that was more like the emotion of the shot. And this is a cool ass rap guy.
“You know, I just, like, was, were you guys sharing the moment together?”
No, he was just coming up to tell me I was 0.3. Oh, I think there's going to be 0.3 or 0.4 on the clock. Is what he's saying to me. And I was still so hyped from the shot going in that I was like,
you know, like, anyone would have walked up on me right there. I was just alone because he came over so fast.
So that's Danny Hurley. And that's the triple option who stood by her been my remarking room and Rob Stone. experience. The official is saying to him 0.3. And I don't know if Dan Hurley said anything to him. But, uh, the fact that he thought he was going to chest bump him. Now, maybe he's having fun. I, I hope he's having fun with that. That would have been really, really awkward if the official will chest bump you. Yes, more. Yeah. I didn't see Hurley's mouth moving at all. I just think he was just so hype. And in the moment, he had his jacket half off. Like he was a member of Joe to see.
And he was just walking around. I was like, yeah, sorry. Yes, he was going crazy. And he was like, whoever's coming up to me. He said at the end of that clip, whoever was coming up to me, I would have done the exact same thing to him. Uh, this day in sports history, Paul. The Las Vegas line. What's Vegas about? Uh, and then the base and then the baseball team. Okay. The LVBLTs and the mascot is a sandwich. All righty. I'm waiting for the great ones there.
