It's a Monday. It's Memorial Day Week. Some of you are going to just slip out late Thursday or Friday. I know it. I know it.

And then you're going to have a long weekend. And I hope you'll be listening to podcasts while you're on your weekend. I mean, what else is better to do? And the listen to podcasts while on the beach or tennis court, golf course, right?

I mean, Riley, that's what you do when you're out and about.

If you're listening to podcasts all the time, aren't you?

If I were to golf, which I would never do, I would definitely be listening to podcasts.

Okay, that was a slam on podcasts, and, you know, is that really what we should be doing here? All right, let's just get into the news. You know, all those cranky people out there are like, "I don't like it when you banter." I mean, come on, we're human. We're not AI except for men who is, but we're Riley and I are human.

And I love to golf. Exactly. I mean, a bot loves to golf. She'd be able to have legs. She's a, she's a thing.

She's a electrons. Anyway. That's what makes me so good at golf. Yes. Equal.

All right, who's going to start this off?

Our president and his two oldest sons and the Trump organization have voluntarily dismissed

their $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS with prejudice, which permanently prevents

them from refiling the claims. They're lawsuit originally stem from the 2019 and 2020 leaks of Trump's tax information by an IRS employee. And they're sudden that with a draw follows controversy over reports that the DOJ was negotiating a $1.7 billion settlement with Trump to compensate his allies of move democratic

lawmakers rightly criticized as a slush fund. But we don't know whether there is a settlement or not. What we know is this, we know that a judge said that you can't have a lawsuit in which you're on both sides of the lawsuit. And that's essentially what was going on here.

Trump was suing the IRS, which he runs. And so they did not have an adverse interest with each other. And the judge was like, you can't do this lawsuit. She was about to toss the lawsuit. So Trump reaches an agreement with himself, because the DOJ is just an extension of

himself to get out of this lawsuit. Do we know whether there's a settlement? Because the terms of the settlement that we're being discussed, which is a slush fund that could go to compensate some of his allies, like the rioters who attacked the capital on January 6, might also have terms like dropping audits of Donald Trump.

Will we ever know whether that happened? I don't know. But we do know that our president is blazing new trails in corruption. He does not sleep every single day. He is up and thinking, how can I rip off the people of the United States?

How can I cash in on the presidency?

Can I sell them some phones?

Can I do some deals on the side? Can I do some deals with the IRS? Can I get my sons in on some action? Get them involved in companies that get contracts from the Department of Defense. And the other day, it was revealed that Trump is trading thousands of trades.

For millions of dollars every day. And that many of those trades actually involve decisions that he is making.

So he is engaging in something pretty shady that I think by any other definition might be considered

insider trading. And in this particular case, ought to make people wake up and say, no more. The president of the United States should not be allowed to do stock trades. Just like members of Congress should not be allowed to do stock trades. This is pure corruption.

This is a chance to just monetize the jobs that they've got. Got to stop, but rest assured, if somebody stops it, he'll be there the next morning with some new, cool, world-leading way to rip off this country. Because he is a corruption genius. Rip off Riley, because they know he's buying a lot of those products.

It's sad, because there's suckers out there, like Riley, who'd be like, I really like

that Trump watch. Listen, all I'm saying is my Trump phone works perfectly. Somebody say, even better than an iPhone, it's the best. Someone say, no one's ever seen a phone like it. I wouldn't say that, but some people might say that.

Or some people might just say you've never seen it.

That way, that's true, although they are now apparently sending these cheap Chinese phones to people that are sort of last year's model from third-rate Chinese manufacturer so that they avoid getting sued, which is a pity, because they really do deserve to get sued. It might still get sued, because they originally built it as being a made in America

phone, and they eventually changed their website to say, "designed in America," but

I would imagine if people placed orders when it still said made in America, then that could be potential false advertising lawsuit. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. But been designed to America. You're buying a regardless. Yeah, but you know, designed in America, probably mean, you know, there's probably a napkin someplace with a Sharpie drawing of

erect angle on it, and under it, the words, Trump phone, F-O-N-E. And it's like, okay, here's our design. Go make us some of those. And it, well, that would be designed in America. Wouldn't it, our president would mind us? He's caring for us. He's our daddy. Go on,

Minna. In a historic primary defeat, Louisiana, Senator Bill Cassidy became the first

sitting Republican senator to lose renomination in nearly a decade, falling to two Trump aligned challengers. These Trump endorsed candidates are representative Julia Letlow and state treasurer John Fleming, who are now going into the runoff election to fill the seat. In a defined concession speech, Cassidy implicitly skewed Trump's leadership warning that the country is, quote, not about one individual, and that those who govern

via internet insults and false stolen election claims are fundamentally unqualified to lead. Yeah, great. Great. Great, Dr. Cassidy. You voted for our FK Junior. Great. You know, you were a feather in the wind, my friend. You know, you have consciences on odd number days and you don't have conscience on even number days and you're playing the game of this guy. And, you know, it was inevitable that you were going to lose here. What I don't

quite get is, you know, there's, there's been some recent polling data out. I don't know if you guys have seen it, but here's, you know, Trump's polls, right? On the cost of living 69% disapprove, he's underwater 42%. On the water and 65% disapprove, he's underwater 34%. On the Israeli Palestinian conflict, 62% disapprove, he's underwater 31%. On the economy, 64% disapprove,

He's underwater 31%.

His job as president is overall rating. Almost 60% disapprove, he's underwater 22%, and all these Republicans out there in Indiana, Louisiana and all these places are going, yeah, that's the guy to follow. He's a political free fall. They just don't have any ideas. But also, what Trump is doing is stripping everything down to the bare basics, because he's got, he's got no distractions. He's got no rabbits in his act. He can't do what he usually does and say,

well, I'm a little bit like a president. Nobody thinks he's like a president. He's failing at everything. So what's the deal? It's coming down to the core deal, the core Magadil. And the core Magadil is, we give, we Magad Trump, give you the racist misogynist, Christian white nationalist,

policies you want, and make moves towards authoritarianism. So the Democrats can never take back

their seats, and it exchange you, let us steal whatever we want for our billionaire friends. We will screw the economy, but we will let Republicans politicians keep their jobs, if we can manage to rig this system fast enough. That's the deal. That's where we are in America. Trump is in a desperate race with our democracy to try to dismantle it before it gets to him. And all these Republicans are saying, you know, we have to take sides here.

We're going to take the side of the authoritarian and dismantling democracy,

because we think that may be the only way for us to keep our jobs.

That is political analysis folks. That is what's going on. You don't hear that. I mean, strain media, because now most of it is owned by some older. That's why we have independent media. Riley, give us another example of hard hitting independent perspectives. That's what we are going to do.

That's what we're going to do.

We're going to do the same thing with the government.

That's what we're going to do. That's what we're going to do. That's what we're going to do. That's what we're going to do. That's what we're going to do.

That's what we're going to do. That's what we're going to do. That's what we're going to do. That's what we're going to do. That's what we're going to do.

That's what we're going to do. That's what we're going to do. That's what we're going to do. That's what we're going to do. That's what we're going to do.

That's what we're going to do.

That's what we're going to do. That's what we're going to do.

While Senate Republicans plan to redraft and re-submit the proposal following the

recent White House Correspondence Inter-Shooting Democrats have a vowed to continue blocking a future attempts. Well, you know, great.

Great news that we're not going to take a billion dollars and put it into a

completely unnecessary project. But I wouldn't count the chickens just yet. The Republicans will find a way, Trump will find a way. Whether he has to do it, you know, legally, illegally, donations, taking taxpayer money, who knows?

But I do want to say, go back into the way back machine of DSR daily reports. When Trump started talking about this ballroom and he said it was going to cost $200 million. I'm pretty sure you're going to find us saying, oh, no, no. This is going to cost a lot more than that.

Just like we've been saying all these estimates of the war in Iran, costing $29 billion out. They're completely wrong.

These guys lie about numbers all the time.

I don't believe any numbers that come out of this administration, including numbers about the economy. Numbers about the cost of anything. Numbers about the revenue produced by anything. None of it because a fraudster isn't charged.

He lies. He cooks the books. He makes up numbers. That's what happens. That's our lot in life because some of you just couldn't be bothered to turn out and vote.

Election day in 2024.

If only if like all the Democrats had turned out, you know what would happen?

We wouldn't be talking about this.

We'd probably be saying, oh, yeah, the Kamal Harris administration is pretty boring.

And oh, we only got half of what we really wanted from the new health care bill, or half of the expansion of our capacity and brain energy, half the, you know, we'd be complaining furiously about the last speech she gave was not that interesting. Well, we were spared that by lazy voters. Ha, meta.

Thank goodness. Thank goodness, yeah.

Instead, we have this Cuban foreign minister, Bruno Rodriguez accused the U.S.

of fabricating a fraudulent case regarding drone warfare to justify its crippling

economic sanctions and lay the groundwork for potential military intervention.

His remarks follow an axiose report revealing classified intelligence that Cuba had acquired over 300 military drones, allegedly to target Q.S. Florida and the Guantanamo Bay naval base. But the assistance of Iranian military advisors, tensions are peaking as the Trump administration prepares an imminent indictment against 94-year-old former leader, Raoul Castro.

We will soon unleash operation, change the subject, in which the full resources of the U.S. military will be directed at yet another country in order to deliver your attention from the country where the war is not going so well, and it's about to be hitting its third month. This war, however, is unfolding in a even more pathetic, even less compelling way, because this case that they have 300 drones needs to be put in a little bit of perspective.

So let me put in perspective. The United States has 10,000 very advanced drones of the kinds that can go deliver bombs that come back. It's also got tens of thousands of less sophisticated drones.

Iran was making 10,000 drones a month in its factories. Are they making that many now?

Maybe not. Some people say they only have about 70% the capacity they used to.

Ukraine is planning to produce 3 million drones this year.

So now we're talking about 300 drones. You see what I'm getting at here? This is very, very thin grill, but they think the American people will buy it, that this is a threat. It's the Cuban, it's like we had the Cuban missile crisis once, which involved nuclear weapons. Here we have the Cuban drone crisis. It's as exactly as ridiculous as it sounds. They don't care. We once had Fidel Castro, the young revolutionary leader there who was tied up with the Soviets,

and was going to pose a threat to our neighborhood. Now they're planning to go and arrest his 94-year-old brother. There's completely out of it. It's pathetic. It's just pathetic. Own it. Press it. It's got no ideas left except really bad ones. Well, ending on an unfortunate health story. Did you hurt yourself while running in the half-American over the weekend? No. Actually, I didn't. Well, that's good. That's a good health story.

It is good. But I have something a bit more negative to share because the world health organization has declared a new Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Uganda, to be a public health emergency of international concern. Health officials facing, if you get challenges in containing the virus, as this rare strain currently lacks an approved vaccine, our treatment, and had already been spreading undetected for weeks before it's discovery.

While international agencies are deploying response seems to support local containment efforts, the WHO emphasized that the situation does not constitute a pandemic emergency and advised countries against closing at their borders. Don't close your borders. The U.S. has this under control. RFK Junior is going to hop on health and human services one, fly to Uganda, and prove that it is not a bigger emergency. He will eat roadkill off of many highways in

Uganda, just to prove that you don't have anything to worry about their folks. Because that's what we have here for health defenses in the United States. RFK Junior is very, very smart,

Former heroin addict who collects raccoon penises.

which makes you bleed out of your eyeballs. It's fine. It's a good choice. It's a good choice.

It's a good time in America because everything's a little more exciting. If we had effective CDC,

you would be bored. But now, hand to virus. Ebola, measles, mumps, all this stuff is coming back.

Smallpox is just around the corner, everybody, because we have RFK Junior,

and Donald Trump saying, "Help? Science? Who cares?" Let's get some more money out of the U.S.

Treasury and put it in our own bank. Springtime in America. That's where we are. We'll update you

on developments like these throughout the week on all of the many podcasts that we've got here. You know about them. Watch them on YouTube. Download them where you get podcasts.
