Hello and welcome to the DSR daily. I'm David Roth, a cough. I'm joined by Riley Festler and Minna Stein. They tell me it's Wednesday. I don't believe it.

But they're reliable otherwise, and we're going to go and take a dive into the news. Which I've had a little bit of a peek at and frankly, the whole thing makes me sick. So let's start with Minna. Yep.

We're going to start with something we talked about yesterday.

Okay, now we have the update on. In the primary runoff, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, defeated or term incumbent Senator

John Cornen, capitalizing on a powerful wave of mega insurgency to secure their public

enomination, boosted as we talked about yesterday and before by a late-stage endorsement from President Trump, Paxton's double-digit victory marks the second time in less than two weeks that a sitting Republican Senator has been ousted by a trumped-back challenger. Paxton will now advance to the November midday. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

To face James Hilary Go. To lose to James Hilary Go. But we'll get to that in a minute. First we have to say we told you so.

Secondly, I hate it when people do that, but I can't resist the reality is we knew that

this was coming. Probably, you know, the headlines this morning from some of the analysts, I just saw the ballworks. Headlight was, you know, Texas Republicans get what they deserve. I don't know.

I'm starting to think that being mega ought to be classified in the DSM-5 or 6 whatever we're up to as a disease, like as a real mental illness. Here you are in a country where mega is less popular every day, where the president is less popular every day, where every single policy. But some of them, every single policy of the president is underwater, where the country

doesn't like this, the independence don't like it. That people are leaving the Republican party and people are like, yeah, let's double down on crazy. I mean, what's going on? What's going on?

Paxton was impeached. Paxton's wife, you know, Paxton, it was like Mr. Christian lifestyle, whatever. His wife left him because he violated the terms of their marriage on biblical grounds. I don't even know what biblical grounds are. But that was, you know, she sought a biblical founded divorce, whatever that is.

But you know, it can't be a good thing. It can't be. I'm Mr. Pro Christian and I'm going to attack James Taloreco, but yet it is. And once again, he attacked Taloreco, last thing, he said, he has come in for your lifestyle everybody because he's a vegan, which I mean, okay, he's a vegan, oh my God, he's a vegan.

Don't tell me he's a vegan, that's bad as being impeached, driving your wife's kitchen. But he is, he thinks that God is non-binary, which, I mean, I guess this means Paxton believes

God has a dick or God has of a job, I mean, right, right, that's what it's got to mean.

Is that he believes that God has specific genitalia, but there is a theory floating around out there, and that, that, what the, the patson is picking up on a trumpsler that said that he thinks God has six genitals, or that there are six genitals, and I think, and, you know, Mano Riley, if you think I'm wrong, correct? The theory that's going out there is that they just don't know it's cisgender meets.

And that when they hear cisgender, they think it means six genitals.

In addition to being impeached, corrupt, racist, misogynist, running a state ...

is all of those things, there also dumb, there are, Texas Republican Party as a little bit

of egg on its face, because last night, the first thing they had to do was take down the

stuff on their website that was anti-packsin, because the Texas Republican Party was opposed to him, because among other things, underpacksin, the murder rate in Texas has gone up to 30 times what the murder rate was before. So, hmm, the Republican Party knows that would back him. Surely Talorico will know how to attack him, Talorico's an appealing candidate, and you

got a lot of Republicans saying publicly and privately that this state is going to flip, and you're going to have a democratic senator from Texas, may it be so, may it be so, and that this leads to the Senate being controlled by Democrats, holy macro, wouldn't that be a great thing to have happened? And it's not impossible, folks, if you, and I mean you, I'm not talking about the person

sitting next to you, go out, vote, donate, get active, and participate in this election like the fate of your country and your own life, in your kids' life, in your grand kids' life, dependent on it, but if you do that, it's things like this that could make

this a pivotal election and, you know, finally, a guardrail in our system that works.

Well, we're double dipping on Russia's stories today because there are two interesting trout. There's, there's good, good Russia's stories every day for reasons that we would discuss in a moment. First of which is that the Trump administration has paused several Biden-era multi-atency

working groups that coordinated with European allies to counter Russian sabotage disinformation and cyber attacks, and at the same time there are reports the U.S. appliances significantly reduced the conventional military assets it makes available to NATO during a crisis, including a substantial cuts to strategic bombers, a fighter jets, and a warships.

Hmm, hmm, I wonder why, do you, do you, do any of us?

Look, I was just sitting here, I saw that you had that story in the list and so I thought, you know, there's a lot of stuff going on here. And it happens every single freaking day and we don't treat it the way we really should as a country. Donald Trump's relationship with Russia is a profound threat to our national security.

He has made saying that a kind of fighting words because he is so afraid that people will understand its reality. He has made Russia, Russia, Russia, Russia's a hoax into a thing because it's not a hoax. In fact, it's the most pernicious dangerous sellout of U.S. national security since Benedict Arnold but worse, much worse.

And you know, I made myself a little list that just just literally a minute ago saying, well, what do we have? Is this David that kind of lefty in that case sitting there and going, oh, Russia, Russia, Russia.

Yeah, it's not, let's just take the things that are at the top of our head, okay?

There was election interference. He did say Russia, if you are listening, as soon as he got elected, he had his people talk into the Russians talking about deals with the Russians. The first time the Russians came to the Oval Office in 2017, he gave them classified information that we had gotten from the Israelis.

We know that. He has bent the need of Putin time after time after time, he told us all that he believed Putin more than he believed the U.S. intelligence community. He has invited Putin to the United States. He had jets fly over.

He has talked about, you know, every possible leader in the world in critical terms, except

Vladimir Putin with whom he regularly talks with whom he regularly says, he has a great relationship. He switched sides in Ukraine to such an extent that the U.S. ambassador, Ukraine quit because she felt we had switched over to the Russian side. Why?

Because we cut all the aid that Biden was giving to Ukraine, practically. Why?

Because he humiliated Zelensky.

Then he threatened to attack a NATO ally, which he continues to threaten to do via Greenland.

He's pulling troops out of NATO, 5,000 troops out of Germany talking about more. In Riley's story, we're talking about withholding weapons that NATO depends on bombers and ships and so forth that they used to defend themselves. He's cutting back on programs to stop Russian intelligence. He's cutting back on programs to stop Russian sabotage.

He cut back on the programs in the Treasury that stopped Russian oligarchs from, you know, from committing economic crimes here on this country. They shut down the FBI department that was dealing with Russian intelligence actions in the U.S., they reduced sanctions on Russian oligarchs. They reduced sanctions on Russian oil in the middle of this war to Iran.

Then he said, "Hey, let's go talk to the Russians and let them handle Iran's enriched nuclear products."

He's pushed up the price of oil in ways that benefit who?

Oil producers, like Russia, he has aligned with pro-Russian anti-European voices, like Urba, like Buxich, like others, every single time he has had the opportunity to align with Russia he has. Steve Wittkov has gone over there and said, "Yeah, I believe Putin, I don't believe you, Ukraine."

He's sent over customers, has buddied up to him. He's talking about building projects with the Russia. I could go on and on and on, folks. I'm not making this up. You can look this up.

This is an incredible sellout of U.S. national interests, too, Russia. And it is going on from 2016, from 2016 through now, in profound ways. You know, when do we wake up?

When do I wake up now, Riley's story this morning wakes me up, Riley, you have saved

America.

I always knew I would, I knew you were always destined for greatness.

Can you save America, Minna? Well, I definitely have another story about corruption, I don't know what to say. I'm going to call an out corruption, but I'm for that, call out corruption. All right. The Department of Justice has mastulated thousands of official news releases documenting

the criminal prosecutions, guilty pleas, and jury convictions tied to the January 6th Capitol riot. The DOJ characterized the previous records of it. You mean, so once again, defending people who were attacking the United States. I mean, Trump, right, they were attacking Trump at his minions, at his orders, are defending

them. He wants to pay them.

He wants to call the heroes, wake up, folks.

The president of the United States is systematically attacking the United States like a cancer attacks a human body, wherever it's possible, economically, socially, politically in terms of our institutions, in terms of our alliances, by allowing himself with our enemies. This is a pattern. This is not a small thing.

This is, oh, no, no, more Trump. That's boring. It's a real problem that's getting worse every day as Trump gets crazier and crazier. As we see in Texas, as Magga goes, yeah, boss, whatever you want, Magga is a fundamentally deeply unpatriotic anti-American movement.

And each one of these things that we're talking about here illustrates that. Sorry, did I interrupt you? Forgive me, man. Who's the gist of it? Just the DOJ is saying it's political propaganda.

And then it was weaponized by the Biden administration.

Right, just what they said about Russia, right, the first thing they do is this old Russian

tactic of taking the truth and trying to get you to believe it's a lie. We've seen this before, except before when it happened, it was Mussolinian. It was Stalin, okay, and now this is our crazy, nut job of a leader, okay, I need to calm down, right, I don't know if this will help you, help me calm down. What we talked about the other day, but the Democratic Republic of Congo is currently battling

a major Ebola outbreak involving a rare strain for which there is no approved vaccine or treatment and a global health experts know why, because of Israeli dramatic cuts to international aid, the cuts, who did ask, who, who died in the United States, of course. Oh, my God, wait a minute, that's aid, that's something run by the State Department, the State Department is run by that nice Marco Rubio, he's super normal.

That not Marco Rubio's super normal, he's the normal maga, we're going to get...

Are you telling me that he did something that hurt people? And you know, I hate to, I hate to shadow your illusions, David, but yes, he did something quite bad, right, severely crippled the regions, the disease, surveillance and prevention infrastructure, and that combined with local community mistrust and ongoing conflict in the region has completely hindered efforts to contain the rapidly spreading virus.

What you mean there could be a spreading virus, a pandemic, how could we have known?

We've never seen that before, not in our lifetimes, we've never seen a disease from

someplace else come and destroy the economy of the United States, destroy the lives, kill millions of people. We've never seen that before, how could he have known that cutting back on this would hurt us, but you know something Donald Trump, he's five moves ahead of us, because even if somebody like Marco makes a mistake like this, Donald Trump has a plan and you don't

have his backup plan is our FK Junior, he's got a guy in charge of our health apparatus in this country who thinks outside the box, I mean, did you see the pictures of him picking up the snakes yesterday, I mean, he was picking up, here is the guy who's already gotten

a lot of flack from picking up a dead bear and putting him in central park and picking up

some dead whale head and tying it to his car, picking up a dead raccoon and cutting off his penis, bringing the raccoon, he's gotten some bad rap because also he was a hero in addict and also he has a brainworm and also he believes in things that aren't science and he's surrounded by limitates, but yesterday because he doesn't think any of those things are too crazy, he just said, oh, let me pick up some snakes, that's a good message

to send to America, but it's a great metaphor, picking up snakes is exactly what we're doing all around the world and like you gotta ask yourself, why would you shut down the things that defend us against diseases around the world, why would you shut down the people who protect us against diseases, I mean, who would think of such a thing, a patriot, somebody who wants to make America stronger or somebody who is our enemy and who wanted to destroy us,

I think it's pretty evident on the face, if you don't think it's evident, you may be

mega, see count, well our last story is about space, so you might feel a little bit like a good alternative to looking better every day, well I have great news for you because NASA

provided a comprehensive blueprint for its ambitious $20 billion moon base initiative, detailing

a multi-phase corporate road map aimed to establish a permanent human settlement on the moon's surface, I'm ready, I volunteer, I volunteer, I volunteer to do the first podcast from the surface of the moon, wouldn't it be great, DSR's moon daily, hi, today here on the moon, okay, look, look I grew up in this, you know, space programs, glory days, and I love this space program, and you say $20 billion and sure a lot of people are out there, but

that should be spent on people in need here, and I get that argument, but frankly, it's a spacious argument, we're planning to spend $1.5 trillion on defense, we spent trillions of trillions of dollars, we can invest a little money in science and technology and the future and making the world smarter and giving us new options, it's okay, we can set aside a tiny fraction of our budgets for that, just like we could set aside a tiny fraction for, I don't

know, foreign aid or presenting, preventing diseases and the other things that are all being cut, why, to give tax cuts to billionaires who need them, or to help prepare tax cuts for trillions, you know, who's going to help us build this space base, Elon, and let's Elon doing right now, Elon is bringing hit-to-market SpaceX, and that's his big space

company, and if everything goes right, it'll make Elon the first trillionaire in the history

of the world, yes he's a racist, yes he's a misogynist, yes he's a lunatic, yes he played a role in destroying all these government programs, but what's a little of that between friends when we could make Elon rich, so it is kind of an interesting coincidence that as SpaceX is coming to market, the OS government is announcing the various ways it's going to use SpaceX products and service, it's a coincidence, I'm sure it's a coincidence, there would be

No corruption in our government, there would be no monetary motives for peopl...

I still volunteer, I still volunteer to go to the moon or at least to send one of you guys to the

moon, to either of you on here, no, definitely not, yeah that's because you've seen the movie

moon, one of the correct, the perhaps the most underrated, great space movie ever made,

I strongly recommend moon to those of you not seen it, all right, that's it for us today,

it's Wednesday, so we've got the day radio later and we're going to talk about some of this stuff,

I also do, but typically the podcast I do Mondays for Deep State for in conjunction with the

Daily Beast is being done today, so that'll be out later today, so we got lots of stuff coming in your way, including Riley Silicantiousness, right, a really, really important episode of Silicantiousness, yep, that'll be out later today as well, yeah and I again suggest if you're listening to this

trust me, you need to listen to this episode and each episode of Silicantiousness. In any event,

follow us, support us, do what you can to help us and we'll do what we can to help you every day. Until then, thanks, bye! [BLANK_AUDIO]
