Minestine. It's Tuesday. We're trying to get a handle on a lot of things going. There's some big
“things. There was even, I don't know, Riley. I'm confused. There was even some good news. I know.”
It's shocking. I can't believe it. And we're going to start with the good news, which is even crazy. Crazy. The Supreme Court rejected President Trump's emergency bid to restrict mail ballots for the upcoming midterm elections, allowing states to maintain their existing voting processes as balladning is already underway. The court majority indicated that the administration's last minute pushed to force posts the service compliance was likely illegal. Though just this is
Samuel Olito and Clarence Thomas dissented voting rights groups at state election officials praise the
ruling for preventing a widespread voter confusion at administrative disruption while the administration maintained the rejected rules were necessary for election integrity, a likely story.
“I like these. Trump went completely berserk, wrote at 827. This morning a very, very long”
truth social, by the way, folks who are running truth social. I don't know if anybody is still there because you don't make any money. But I would strongly recommend you putting a kind of a word limit on the length of these things, because this went on and on and on. And, you know, it began Republicans just got another bad decision from the United States Supreme Court. One that the court system took forever to give them blamed it in part a no-time left.
blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And then it's, you know, it is a court that will go down as having rendered some of the most destructive, hurtful, and damaging decisions in our country's history. It's not easy for me to write this criticism of the United States Supreme Court.
“It will likely cost me dearly for years. Sure, well, you know, the people who gave him”
immunity, the people who actually, you know, essentially shut down all the investigations into him the court that has had his back from time to time. He just winds about the times they didn't. And then that includes, you know, the fact that they concluded the tariffs as he, you know, laid the map were illegal. And that his, you know, desired and given it a birthright citizenship couldn't be done by executive order. It actually requires constitution. He, he, he lays these things out.
But he's very, very unhappy. And as we know, when Donald Trump is very, very unhappy, that's a good thing because it means something good has happened in the world because he is almost at this point a hundred percent malevolent, a hundred percent incompetent, a hundred percent corrupt, which means that almost no position he takes is the right position. And almost every position he takes is contrary to the interests of the people of the United States. Yesterday,
the Supreme Court blocked his desire to block male in balladning parentheses. The only means of balladning he actually uses because he votes by male in all the time. A means by which there is very, very little fraud that's been investigated and investigated and investigated. And they, you know, made the right decision for now, this was a decision about the state, will it come back to haunt us, you know, with regard to the next election, who knows? But, but he was, he was certainly
a cranky grandpa last night and this morning. And with any luck, I'll stay cranky and then be more bad news for him. Particularly if this means it's a little more likely that the American
people can express their will, which as we know from every poll that's out there, is critical of
him and seeks to limit or end his use of power. Well, guess who's not dead? Senator Mitch McConnell, who returned to the Senate Floreaster Day after a three-month absence following a fall at his home in June. Appearing in a wheelchair, the 84-year-old Lawmaker cast a vote to advance a federal judicial nominee and express his eagerness to participate in upcoming legislative efforts, including the Farm Bill Markup. While McConnell acknowledged that his recovery remains an ongoing
process complicated by childhood polio, he assured colleagues he would attend a critical party-line votes ahead of his plan retirement at the end of the year. Yeah, I think he's missed time to his
Retirement.
And he's as bad a politician as we've had. The reason the Supreme Court made so many bad decisions,
“largely as to do with his role in the Senate. He has played fast and loose with the rules and”
with the interests the American people, purely to advance very narrow partisan interest. So he's a bad guy. Does that mean I hope he suffers? No, I, you know, wish he were out of the Senate and recuperating as he should be someplace else. As it is, you know, we've had the charade of him for over three months not showing up for work. And, you know, he's just going to be there a couple more times, I suspect, before his retirement begins. The sooner that retirement begins, the better,
the sooner we close the chapter, and the Mitch McConnell era of the Senate, the better. The recent recovery of hundreds of bodies from Gaza's rubble has raised fresh concerns from UN Human Rights Chief Volker Turk regarding international humanitarian law violations during Israeli strikes. Palestinian authorities estimate that over 8,000 victims predominantly women and
children remain buried under 61 million tons of debris. While UN officials report that Israeli
restrictions on heavy machinery and an identification equipment are severely hampering recovery efforts. I mean, you know, new allegations of war crimes we know took place. You know, this is one of the horrific defining stories of our time.
“Anything we can do to get the facts out so that people understand what happens is essential.”
And, frankly, the efforts to suppress discussion about this, you know, are also making news at the moment. Have you guys been following the Ed Sheeran Maclimore? I thought about including it, but what is this to the urge? Well, you know, I mean, look, I'm a bigger fan of Ed Sheeran as a musician than I am of Maclimore, but Maclimore was out there saying, you know, the truth about Gaza and the people who are organizing these concerts put pressure on Ed Sheeran having Maclimore
opened for him and he succumbed to the pressure. And that's some good thing, you know, it's weak. It's inconsistent with values. He is embraced in the past. And, you know, I heard Bob Craft, the owner of the New England Patriots who owned some of the venues in which the concerts were taking place. It was part of the pressure effort describing what Maclimore was doing as, you know,
“spreading hate speech. Telling the truth is not hate speech. You know, talking about a genocide”
that really took place is not hate speech. And, you know, what is disturbing to me is that the efforts to discredit those who are trying to tell the truth about all this have not been turned back by the constant revelations of inhumanity and war crimes that have taken place there. They remain just as strong as ever, which means that everybody cares about the truth has a responsibility to stand up, call it what it is, push back demand accountability because this
is, you know, a hideous set of developments. And, you know, there's a, you know, a new book out by Brett McGurk who is part of the Biden team that didn't step up when the time came about. And, it's entirely focused on getting the 10/7 hostages out. And, you know, if we're decent human beings, we care about the atrocities on October 7th. We care about the abuses that those hostages occur. And, if we care about that, we need to care about the 70,000 dead in Gaza.
There needs to be kind of moral clarity here. And, unfortunately, for too many people, we are not there yet. But, we here will push for it, we'll continue to push for. And, all of you who have
a platform should continue to push for it and make it clear that this, this finally,
Cannot happen again.

Attorney General Todd Blanch pledged that the federal government will release
“additional 9/11 related records denying allegation. Substack documents are being kept secret”
to protect Saudi Arabia or any other foreign government. The commitment falls renewed appeals from victims' families during the 25th anniversary commemoration with relatives where relatives urge the Trump administration to declassify unredacted files regarding potential society ties to the hijackers. And response to the growing public pressure, President Trump promised to review the family's request while Blanch confirmed that wrongly classified materials would make public
without offering a specific timeline. So they can declassify documents, just not
abstinent. There you go. You finally get to the main part of this story, which is this is largely
a distraction. One of the survivors at the 9/11 events made clear that there has not been
“accountability for the Saudis that were behind this. She was correct. It is an issue. I”
don't want to minimize it, but it did happen 25 years ago. And so let's be real clear. What is he doing by raising this or turning it into an issue? Distracting from his unwillingness to release the Epstein files, distracting from the cover up and his unwillingness to hold accountable the people from January 6, distracting from his prosecution and torment of the people who called out Donald Trump's abuses and sought to hold him accountable for potential crimes ranging from
tax crimes to crimes about mishandling national secrets. He's trying to distract from the fact that his main role is to obstruct justice in the interests of the mafia government that we've got by bringing up this thing from the distant past. It's the same thing that happens when they bring up like, I don't know, area 51 and aliens. We're going to, or JFK, they want to be quote transparent on issues of history. They don't want to be transparent on issues of
“contemporary developments that are crucial to our understanding of what's going on and how to”
hold accountable and who to hold accountable for crimes that threaten us all. Well, Senator Bernie Sanders and Steve Bannon have united to have the pro-human assembly in Washington DC and urging Congress to enact stricter safeguards and human controls over rapidly evolving AI. Organized by the future of life institute, the event brings together a diverse cross section of politicians, celebrities, religious leaders and advocates following calls from top
of tech CEOs to slow down AI development. However, how speaker Mike Johnson and President Trump have pushed back against emergency federal regulations or development moratoriums arguing that heavy restrictions could cause the U.S. to lose its technological lead to China. Yeah, you know, I guess it's a good sign that people are concerned about these technological developments that we've all been talking about for a long long time, us here on our AI podcast,
including our flagship AI podcast, Silicon consciousness. But a lot of this is, you know, driven more by ignorance and reactive fear than it is by knowledge and understanding of what we need to do. Yeah, there's a movement of foot and I have a sense that there will be some kind of bipartisan action in the Congress to create review mechanisms and to slow this process down. And there was even some news on that front today. I hope that the Democratic
Party can develop a plan of approaching this that is more complete and well-f...
