happy and praising and asking, "How can you go and disace it?" He's like, "I disace it." So, what would you say to maybe helping people over there by being him and expressing himself?

'Cause fuck the coverage part, that's, you gotta get your money. So, I mean, it's a couple of pieces to it for me. Again, like, I agree with saying, "Look, you have a right to change your mind." I didn't get it since that he changed his mind

or the principle. What it hurt him say was, "Everybody else is still fucked with him, "I'm not gonna stay here on his island by myself." I'm not gonna be the only one not doing it.

Again, to ice his point to me, if it's your principle, it's your principle. If it's not, that's cool.

Again, I've never demanded that no,

that people go to Saudi Arabia. I just think it's an unprintable choice given what they've done. And to be clear, my issue isn't people performing in Saudi Arabia.

which is be courageous or brilliant. But this is my point, and I'm going back to a combat that we maybe had on Patreon, not to rehash it. But this is my point when you all have the discussion about your kid being brightest in the class,

and you like, no, I'm leaving my kid there. And I'm like, okay, that can't be a reasonable expectation for other people, if somebody's coming to Dave Chappelle with 3,000 X, what he normally makes. Most people are going to say, once in a lifetime shot,

I'm grabbing this money to go, put it in a trust fund for my kid or go to take care of my family, who is walking away from this? See, I want to take the money out. I don't think you can take the money out.

I want to take the money out because it still serves a greater good to the point that you are making. We brought up the kid on a Patreon conversation. It serves the greater good to have your kid be promoted, and possibly achieve greater things.

So Dave Chappelle went over there against this regime and said, a whole bunch of shit, he wasn't supposed to say, that is potentially clear on a path. And it's also putting Jim's over there

I disagree with it because I happen to stand in solidarity with certain political movements and saying that's not the right choice. But I'm not boycotting Dave Chappelle, I'm not criticized in Dave Chappelle for that.

I just, I saw a pivot that didn't match up to me, right? But for me the decision, when he says, I am sad or frustrated at Republicans for weaponizing my jokes.

He's basically saying, I made these trans jokes

the joke, I forget what happens to the trans woman in this joke.

But his jokes, it's not a huge leap from his jokes

to how people are talking about his jokes.

and they're transphobic. And so when they get used by transphobic Republicans, I don't think it's fair to say, they use it in ways I think it's true. And the thing is, I think Dave may actually not be,

he may actually respect trans identity and ways that his jokes don't suggest. He may not be exactly politically aligned with their Republicans, but his jokes don't suggest that. Whereas up here to Eugene language,

we're making an objective claim that Kamala ran a bad campaign. That doesn't mean we hate Kamala Harris. It doesn't mean we, so if we're Republican, then you use that. That's different to me. It is, it's only different.
