Think about the 31st Newly?
Why? Last call for a steuer.
Oh no, I don't know where I was supposed to go.
Why do you mean steuer?
“That's how steuer is when you are alone.”
Is that easy? Of course, everything is automatic. Steuers are long? No, just a few times. No, then?
Hold on, now it's time to go back to steuers. It's the 31st Newly.
Have you lost control over the...
No, I'm sorry. No, sir. We have full control over the conference. This is the same thing we've been doing. Mega Mike Johnson has indeed lost control of the House of Representatives, and he has lost control over his own party that just revolted against him and Mega Mike Johnson just shut down the House of Representatives until at least July 13th. So, at least a two-week shutdown right now, because the Mega Republicans refuse to pass a rule which would allow pieces of legislation and other matters before the House of Representatives to come to the floor.
So, Mega Mike Johnson just decided, all right, we're going to shut down the House of Representatives once again. You had Mega Republican Congress members like Luna, Miller, Harris, Pritchett, Burlison, Roy, Fine, Crane, Sparks, Elv, Turner. You had Thomas Massey, Bulbert, and Scalice, all vote against the rule, and so now the House of Representatives is indeed shut down. Now, Manu Raju was asking Mega Mike Johnson about just having zero control over the House, heading into the mid-terms, as the Mega Republicans in generic ballots are trailing Democrats somewhere between 10 and 20 points.
Watch a Mega Mike Johnson says to Manu Raju play this clip.
“"Rust to stop are very important progress forward from House of Republicans because some Senate Democrats are refusing to do their job.”
That's where we are, that's the reality of it. This is life with a small margin, small majority, and we'll work through it as well." "We're going to come back and try and do this." "We're going to do it again. We're going to do it again. We're going to do it again. We're going to do it again. We're going to do it again. We're going to do it again. Have you lost control over the House of Representatives?" "No, no sir, we have full control of the conference. This is the same thing we've been doing the whole time. We have the smallest Martin in U.S. history.
We're nearing an election. People get very emotional about things. And sometimes they make irrational decisions. So I don't, I don't hold grudge against anybody. I just got to get all the team members back. Working in the same direction. Same song, different verse, same job." "It has a present been leading on these guys, too. It has a present. Their presence is not involved now." "He's not involved now. Does he need to get involved? I suspect he's going to be very frustrated about this." "Are these, are these members making it harder for you to keep the majority?"
"No. We're going to win the majority and I'll have a bigger margin and one of these problems." "What do you have to say to me?" Then before Magamike Johnson was running away there for Manu Raju, earlier in the day before he had to officially shut down the House, Manu Raju was asking Magamike. So Donald Trump now wants you to pass legislation to ban birthright citizenship after the Supreme Court's ruling, which upheld birthright citizenship of the United States Constitution.
So Magamike, is that going to be your priority right now? As Donald Trump refuses to sign the housing affordability bill, which was a bipartisan bill. Now you're going to be shutting down the House of Representatives. Your priority was to push a voter suppression bill. And now is it going to be to pass legislation to try to ban birthright citizenship, even though the Supreme Court upheld the Constitutionality under the 14th Amendment of birthright citizenship? Watch Magamike Johnson play this clip.
“"Look, I think it's clearly an issue that merits the attention of Congress. I don't know what the remedy is,”
how to define it or the timeline. It would be premature for me to project that, but I will tell you that it's a big concern with the American people because it's been abused." "In Tom Kane, can he run for reelection given the way he handled this and didn't disclose this for his voters?" "If someone, let me just say this about Tom Kane, if someone is going to suggest that he is an eligible to be reelected by a big margin just because he has that had to deal with an illness that, as he noted,
almost 50 million Americans have dealt with it sometime in their life. I think that's a really
unfair question. I think he addressed it appropriately on the floor. I told him I sent him a note as soon as he walked out the floor and said, "We're in your corn and we're behind you 100%. He has a long service individually and in his family of noble public service to the people of New Jersey. I think it's consistent to understand that. I think they're going to send a message and send him back and let him continue doing the great work that he's done all these years for his first
Constituency.
"In all Magga Republic and seem to just be running away from either Manu Raju or from the Midas Touch Network reporters on Capitol Hill, you had Magga Republic in Congress member Tom Kane, who showed up after not being in the House of Representatives since about March without explanation. Then yesterday he said, "The reason that he hasn't been working is because of depression," he says, "and so he didn't show up because of depression." By the way, it's a serious matter, but
he's been not disclosing that since March. He raises a lot of red flags and here he is Magga Republic in running away from Manu Raju asking him, "Why wouldn't you just tell people earlier if it was depression like back in March?" "And you think your constituents should have confidence in you here, play this clip." "Why don't you just address what happened off the bat when
you first were diagnosed with this condition?" "The reason for not saying right away."
"Are you running for reelection? Can you run for reelection?" "Did your constituents deserve to know earlier?" And then we had all these Magga Republicans just piecing out running away. They're on vacation for another two weeks now as the House of Representatives shut down. Magga Republican Congress member Grothman ran away from the Midestutch Networks Pablo Monrique as play this clip.
Magga Republican Congress member Gail ran away from the Midestutch Network. We were just asking in basic questions. The question was this, wasn't a trick question? What are House Republicans doing this week on affordability? What are you doing on affordability? They run away from us play this clip. "Carrison, really? What are House Republicans doing this week for affordability?" Hey Magga Republican Congress member, Herr, what are you doing on affordability? Play this clip.
"Carrison, real quick, what are House Republicans doing this week on affordability?" Nothing. "If you're anything like me, a lot of the information you take in every day doesn't come from sitting down and reading a report, it comes from conversations, interviews,
meetings, phone calls, and discussions with people who know something you don't. The problem is,
“those conversations move fast and it's easy to forget and important detail later. That's exactly”
why I've been using Plod. Plod creates these AI-powered wearable devices that help capture organized and recall information from real world conversations and moments. So whether it's an interview, a meeting of phone call or just the voice memo, it captures the details while you stay focused on the conversation. Afterward, everything is searchable, organized and easy to reference. It supports transcription in 112 languages. It's trusted by more than two million users worldwide
and is built with enterprise grade privacy and compliance standards. I have the Plod Notepin S here. It's a small wearable device that follows me throughout the day, so whether I'm preparing for the show, discussing breaking news, or organizing thoughts between recordings,
“it lets me capture important details without constantly reaching for my phone. It's made my work flow”
a lot easier because I can stay engaged in the conversation instead of worrying about taking notes. And it even helps me with the basic stuff I'm bad at like remembering people's names. Sam and a meeting and a lot of people I just met are speaking. He'll organize all the information. I can easily look up who was who remind myself of the action items so I can actually be present in the moment and be sure that none of the information discussed gets away from me because I could
always look it up later. And there's a bunch of ways to wear it. There's a magnetic pin,
a clip, a lanyard to wear as a necklace like the one I have on now, a wristband. It's super cool and so helpful. If your day is driven by conversations interviews analysis and staying informed,
“Plod helps make sure nothing important gets lost. Get up to 20% off with code [email protected]/mitis.”
That's p-l-a-u-d-dot-a-i-s/mitis, n-e-i-d-a-s. Now, I guess at least, Magga Republic and Congress member Troy Nell stopped to speak with the mitis touch net works Pablo Monriquez when the house was officially shut down as he was leaving to go back home to Texas. He was asked by Pablo Monriquez of the mitis touch network. The same question we asked the other people. How do house Republicans make the case that you're fighting for affordability when you
Go back to your district?
play this clip. How do house Republicans make the case that you're fighting for affordability when
“you go back to your districts? Affirmability. We'll affordability is the best way to go to tomorrow.”
I'm going to blow over to Ford. I'm going to give me a couple of live lobster tails. I'm going to get me some nice rib eyes. I'm going to sit in my back. I want my family, my neighbors. We're going to be enjoying the Ford celebrating 250 years the birthday. We're going to be celebrating the greatest president, my life-time Donald J. Trump. Maybe watching fireworks won't be up here. It's going to be too hot, right? And I'm in bed at 11 o'clock or the fireworks ain't going off to 11 o'clock Eastern
on the floor of the July. I probably have to sleep through that one. But listen, everybody understands you're going to see a little increase in energy prices because of Iran. I mean, come on, people on the stupid. You realize that when you have a conflict that Iran, but I think in the end, this short-term increase in some of the cost of energy, you know, gasoline and stuff is temporary. But President Trump is way too very clear to these companies. Don't be gouging. No price gouging. I mean,
energy went. Boy, it was a 69 bucks in the day. It's definitely the first step down. Don't take advantage of the American people. It's almost criminal. Do you think that's true? There's not a American. So we got to do that. We have to do that. And I think that the overall bone in the
chat is to make sure Iran never has nuclear weapons. So I'm okay with what the increase in fuel
because he was going to happen with obviously with oil and the straight everything. But it's a temporary issue. You think 60% of Americans who are living paycheck to paycheck can afford lots or tails and revise all of them. Maybe not. Maybe maybe the 60% of American or work as hard as I do later. I mean, I don't know. And then Magra Republican Congress member Troy Nels wasn't done there yet. He said what we really need to do in this country is he said, we need to put a big bed sheet
over the statue of liberty. And we need a 10-year moratorium put a big sheet over the head of the statue of liberty here. Play this clip. The effect of the matter is this. Is that if the
“American people are truly, truly going to enjoy the fourth of July, right? You have to love our”
country number one. You have to love our country. There's a lot of people. There's a lot of people.
There's a lot of people. Can I tell you something? This is what we got to do. We got to put a bed sheet a big bed sheet over the statue of liberty. Ten years, 10-year moratorium at immigration. No more. We have to get this under control. The amount of people that are in this country, we don't even know who they are. The tens of millions that came through in the previous administration. We don't know who they are. The people over here on visas. You know, you sign a little deal. I come over here for five years and
then I'm going to believe there are we're staying their visas. The pattern that is, we've got to have a 10-year moratorium on immigration. So we've got to have a freeze put a bed sheet over to statue of liberty. Why a bed? A bed sheet because she's going to go to sleep for a while. She got to go to sleep for a while because we're not letting anybody in anymore. Some people think of beds. We got it. I'm not saying it's dad when I'm trying to say is, is that instead of having a torch,
maybe needs a stop sign. Maybe we need a little bit of a stop sign. Well, I guess it feels a report card. What would what grade we don't get from Donald Trump on affordability? An affordability in A with everything he's dealing with. He's dealing a lot with the previous administration to in all the stupid things that they did. So no, I give Donald Trump an A and A plus. I'm celebrating the fourth of July and America should appreciate the fact that we've got
the greatest present in our lifetime in the White House. Come on Trump, okay. What about Magga Republic in Elsey? Hey, Magga Republic in Congress, member Elsey. What are you going to do for affordability? And then he's like, you're going to have to ask the people who are in charge. It's you. You guys control every branch of government. Magga Republic is you control every branch of government. Here, play this clip. Mr. Elsey, how do House Republicans make the case for
affordability when you go home to districts now? You'll have to ask the people who made this happen.
“I don't want to. Oh, you have to try back. How's that? And White House. So then we spoke with”
Democratic Congresswoman Ballant, and we asked her, what do you just make of what's put to hell? Just, affin. You have all these Magga Republican Congress members is running out, shutting down the House, shutting down the people's house. What do you make of it? You're play this clip. Congressman, what do you make of Republican Speaker of my house, Mike Johnson decided to cut and run yet again before the week is over? Okay. I have my team total up the number of days
that he has set to his home early since I've been in Congress. And it's up to 74 days, but now
I got out a few more days.
They can't seem to get a rule passed on the floor. It's an embarrassment, honestly.
“Best an embarrassment. A few of airspace. What do you make of that? No one's going to have to”
decide to under 50th anniversary party that's up has been throwing on the mall. So look,
it could have been the most amazing celebration. Amazing. If you did not make it a hyper-partisan event,
if you had just continued with the folks who had been working out America to 50 to make it something that all Americans could come together around. But no, he had to poison it, which is what he does over and over and over and over again, just like the reflecting people. And then bring in JD events, Mr. Gaslight, or himself, and JD events is like, oh crap, you know what? I wish we could do. But the Democrats, these Democrats, they're not going to
let this ever happen. I would love to see Democrats and Republicans working together on something like housing, on something like housing affordability. Really? I mean, this is what I mean. I mean,
“these magas, these JD vances, these vial creatures, they treat people like they're so dumb,”
the Democrats and the Republicans came together this week by partisan housing affordability bill that Donald Trump refused to sign that literally took place. But Donald Trump said it's a big yon. Why would I support a housing affordability bill? The same way under actually former president Biden's term, the Democrats worked with Republicans under Biden to come up with a bipartisan immigration bill and Donald Trump ordered all the maga Republicans kill that immigration bill.
If we solve the problem with compassion, with dignity and which strong borders all combined, then it could hurt us in the elections, the maga said. So we got to kill the immigration bill. So we can run on the problem. We got to run on pain and fear. That's literally what happened here. But listen to a JD van said play this clip. More momentum in that direction from the Democrat party. Frankly, Laura, I would love it. If Democrats were willing, you know, not that they
are going to agree with Republicans all the time. But if they were willing to work with us on lowering housing prices, on lowering gas prices, on actually making the lives of American citizens better, you know, we could have some real bipartisan compromise. That's not what they're talking about. They're talking about abolishing the police and letting criminals rule our cities. That is a fundamental transformation of the Democrat party. It's very bad for a country. It's bad for
Democrats. And it's just drives home why we have to keep these people from getting close to power. But as the maga Republicans were leaving and they shut down the house, Steve Skalis, who's basically one of the top maga Republicans in the house, other than maga mics, basically the top of leadership. He goes, folks, we may be leaving. We may be going home, but we're in a golden age. So everybody's happy and all of our constituents are rich. Gas prices are down 50 cents.
Everybody's doing amazing. Here's what he has to say. Play this clip on the other side.
This is a country that's actually experiencing the golden age again. Gas prices are in 50 cents from where they were just a few weeks ago and continue and to go down. A affordability is back again. And Democrats are upset about that because they wanted it as a talking point for November. And this is the moment where maga mic learned that the Supreme Court found that birthright citizenship is found in the 14th Amendment of the Constitution and watch what he
went through. He goes, well, I guess that's a strict textualist, interregionalist approach. This is where he says it's playing this clip. I need to read the opinion. But obviously, that's, I mean, you could say that's a textualist originalist view. However, I do think that this has been grossly abused in recent years.
Okay. And finally, here's maga mic. When he was asked like so,
why didn't Donald Trump sign the housing bill? And maga mic's like, you know, he's very busy. He's got a lot going on. busy guy. I'm going to have to explain it to him. Very complicated stuff here.
“Oh, that's much, that's what you're going with. You're a play of this clip.”
Is the president has a lot going on. And I think it's safe to say he's not read through every line of that piece of legislation. It's a lot to it. And a lot of great things. And he and I've spoken about it quite a bit. He understands all the dynamics here. What he was saying and legislation. But what he was saying is, in comparison to ensuring election integrity, which is now represented by the Save America Act, nothing is as important. Because you cannot
Maintain a constitution for a public unless you have free and fair elections.
up by and for the people is ultimately and foundationally dependent upon that. That's what the
“president is saying. We all agree with that, by the way, suited the American people. And that's not”
to say that there are not also incredibly important issues. And the cost of living in affordability
is among them, it's top of mind. I've spent six hours in the Oval Office in the just in the last
“few days. I think four hours on Thursday, over two hours yesterday. We talked about all this in”
great length. The president certainly understands the importance of affordable housing. As he's noted yesterday, he knows as much about housing as anybody. Because that in many respects was part
“of his portfolio. Well, that was folks. What was going on in the house of representatives”
as Maga Mike Johnson shuts down the house again two weeks. It's closed. They don't do work. They're pathetic. Truly the worst. And they're all going home and Troy Nells will have his lobster, whatever the hell he's doing. These people truly hate you. These magas truly hate you. I mean, I mean, it's being blunt. They hate you. They hate America. They hate this country. They hate your happiness. They hate your family. They hate their haters. They're losers and their
haters. Just they say that objectively. Well, hit subscribe. Let me know what you think. Let's get
