Hello and welcome to the nerve at night.
I am your host, Maureen Callahan.
“We have a ton of explosive reporting to get to today.”
You want to talk real talk about fake people.
It doesn't get more real than this first.
We will be joined by our friend, your friend in mine, celebrity reporter, extraordinary Rob Shooter. We're going to get into what is really going on with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. I'll give you a hint. Harry's camp and Meghan's camp are briefing two different story lines.
That may sound not that big of a deal. It's an enormous problem for them. We will tell you why. We also are going to talk about someone who once almost derailed his career on the set of Oprah's show and she allowed this to happen.
“I think Oprah is a really, really, really dark force.”
It took a lot for this person to recover their brand and image and this quote-unquote global icon just made a huge misstep over the weekend. When you find yourself in the conversation with Blake Lively, you're in trouble. It is time to write the ship. This is just some of it.
This is not nearly all of it. How we talked about, honey, I'm a former federal prosecutor, Austin, being all indignant that her 24-year-old son was given a citation for trespassing near the train tracks and the portapoddies and otherwise fancy, newer shell, New York. Well, Rob has some sources who have some questions about why the kid, the kid.
He's a grown man, why he was even there in the first place and I got to tell you when I read this on Rob's must subscribe, naughty but nice sub-sac. I was like, holy shit, this guy is a genius. He's really onto something we are going in on all of it.
And then we have some incredible new trouble maker art video art, feedback, and this is
unusual for a nerve at night, but there is so much breaking, explosive reporting about what is really going on in the marriage, the Sussex marriage. We made an emergency call to Lady C and like the friend of the nerve she is and I humbly say a friend of mine, she answered the call. She answered our call and she is here for all of us and what she has to say will make headlines.
“Again, it is our real talk about fake people and so we ask, are you ready?”
Are you ready? Let's go! Do you have a purchase a bottle of standard laundry detergent only to open it and feel like it smells exactly like bathroom disinfectant, stop settling, go for laundry sauce. Now again, this is a company that sent me a huge box of samples, laundry sauce detergent
scented pods and I popped them in over the weekend. I actually love doing laundry, it is like one of my favorite chores and I couldn't believe these things are elevated, elevated, it is going to elevate your fresh laundry, how you move in the world. This is a premium scented laundry pod engineered by the world's top perfumers.
Imagine stepping out on a perfect summer morning, wrapped in the sophisticated notes of australians, sandalwood, Italian bergamot or the new limited edition Brazilian vanilla. These pre-measured pods take all the guesswork out of doing laundry, turning a boring routine into something of an obsession and the scent doesn't just last through the day,
it holds up until your next laundry cycle and the benefits go beyond smelling incredible.
laundry sauce is packed with high performance bio enzymes.
These highly concentrated pods obliterate stains from backyard barbecues, cof...

After you purchase, they're going to ask where you heard about them, we humbly ask that you support our show, tell them you're a troublemaker that the nerve sent you and make laundry day the best day or two of your week.
Joining us now, the one, the only rub shooter of the must subscribe, sub-stack naughty, but nice. He is also the best selling author of the sizzling summer novel. It's started with a whisper. It's backstage scandal and goings on at a talk show based on rob's own experiences.
It is so fun, I loved this book, if you haven't yet, get yourself a copy. There is nothing better to read this summer, it's great, it's fun, it's frothy. Rob, your first exclusive Hollywood mox, Meghan Markle's Emmy nod, quote, "The awards are a sham, reading from your must subscribe, sub-stack naughty, but nice, a war shows are fighting for attention," one insider says, putting Meghan Markle on the red carpet guarantees
global coverage, that is a bigger win for the Emmys than recognizing a series that never
became a cultural phenomenon, which is putting it politely. One veteran producer asks you, "If this was truly Emmy caliber television, why
“was it Netflix doing everything possible to keep it alive?”
That is the question, everyone in town and the rest of us with working cognition is asking what is happening here, Rob." Yeah, it's a really fun story, isn't it, so everybody's talking about this nomination, and I wanted to get to the bottom of it, I'm lucky enough to have friends who work in television, so I called them up, they're not naturally my sources, but there were people
that helped me understand the business of TV and it really is a business. I think it's naive to assume, shows are the best shows, win, because what does best me and so I really dug deep on this and they said the whole system is a bit of a sham, a bit of a scam, it is very political, people work very hard to get nominations, we know awards shows are interrible, trouble and so often they will put people on their lists
to get them attention, it's what dancing with the stars do, they always pick a very controversial
person to be in the ballroom, because they know we are going to tune in now, I don't think they're actually going to let Megan win, that might be too shameless, really, I don't think she's got, if she does win, then let's just throw out all of your awards, everybody should just forget about awards, in the defense of the M is though, I've gone to a lot of awards shows, I've worked at a lot of awards shows, they're all a little dubious, if you
think the golden globes is a real test of talent, you're wrong, get the Oscars, even the graphics. I was going to say the Oscars, to me that the watershed modern moment was a crash winning over broke back mountain, that was bullshit, or you could even say I would actually say this too, win if winning over Cape Land Chat, that was Kate's that year for Elizabeth.
It was Kate's, and so history, a watershed history is littered with these examples, and every year we seem to forget them, and we would, to get the leave, most of us do that these award shows are about excellence, they're not, they are money making businesses, they are put together by companies who want to make money, the M is, it has a staff, it has offices, it has expenses, it needs to pay for all that by getting people to watch the show,
and they're not going to be able to do that unless they put on a good show, award shows
“are in terrible trouble, we know the Oscars is moving to YouTube next season, and so I think”
that the award shows here are being a little bit too cute for their own good, they are
bringing people in, like Megan, who's ultimately going to dilute the brand even more, it always
feels like a quick fix doesn't it, it always feels like, do if we do this, if I show more cat videos on my stuff, I might get more people to subscribe to it, but that's a short
Term fix, in the long term, it has to be about quality, it has to be about co...
I think this is a huge mistake that they're doing with Megan, we know she's going to show up, we know she's going to walk the red carpet, you do you think she's going to show up? 100% she will be there now, interestingly, the moment her category is one of those minor categories that is not normally given out on the TV show, often they give out smaller
categories before the big television production starts, Megan's category has not historically
“been televised, it's been something they give out during commercial break, I think they”
might change the category this year, because they don't want her.
We should originally nominated for a daytime Emmy, I think this is the first time, so it's
you know, I have such mixed feelings about Megan here, but I've got to tip my hat here, if you're going to stop pretending to watch those matter or they're about excellence, then give it to Megan, by not, I want to see her dress, I want to see her ridiculous acceptance speech, me and my friends will be at home drinking, laughing, I think it will be annoying to some people, it will be humorous to others, but we're all going to be
talking about it, real executives though, in Hollywood are not as flippant as not as I mean being, they're not said about it, they're like really annoying that, and real look and act as people, if you work, you'll butt off to put your rights down. Or if you work your ass off on a reality television show, those are very, very difficult
“to mount and to do successfully, I think as a viewer, it can seem well, how hard could”
it be, it's really difficult to your earlier point, and I'm, I'm on the side of, I think that this is a big mistake, like the idea that it's kind of a quick fix and you'll get some eyeballs, but in the long run, what does it do to the, to the Emmy brand, it dilutes it, it degrades it, it renders it completely irrelevant. You know, on the nerve, we were talking about this yesterday, us weekly is the latest casualty
of this kind of celebrity, just spoon feeding, just spoon feeding the rest of us, what celebrities and their publicists want us to believe, they're going by weekly, they've had to give up their office space and Manhattan, they're going remote, they go on the ash heap with the access hollywoods, the a-newses of the world, these entities are dying, because people are hungry for real shit, and people want to celebrate, there's really great, we are
in the golden age of television, are we not, and when they go and they nominate a no talent, fake fraud, just my opinion, like Meghan Markle, who was well reported Netflix's Ted Surandos, like I can't get rid of this woman fast enough, we know what they're doing. Yeah, it makes me sad, big picture, I don't think television loses out here, though,
I just think the emester, it's a joke now, like they'll never bounce back from this, and
I do feel for shows that need emester stay on the air, there's a lot of shows that wouldn't have survived, really great shows had it not been for these emester awards, Madman was really struggling, and the emester came along, it saved that show, it's a great show. And so there's a lot of shows out there, that I feel like I'm going to have to just hold their nose, it's so dumb, it's such a bad move by the Emmys, but it's not that unusual,
if I can just give you a quick example, I used to, in my PR days, I was the publicist for Esquire magazine, which was a big magazine at hers at the time, it was sort of like the competition, I guess, to GQ, every year they did their best rest list, and I used to really read that list and look at the man and the fashion and be inspired by it, years later when I was the publicist for Esquire, I was in a pitch meeting about the top 10 best
rest man, and they put Matt Lara on the list, so he would talk about it on the tradition.
“That's why he made the list, not because of any fashion sets, it was literally because”
they always pick somebody who has a TV show, that's why you always see Michael Stray
him on these lists, that's why you always see Kelly Ripper on these lists, they put them on the list, not because of excellence, but because they will get attention, we know from the Golden Globes, there was many podcasts that should have been nominated, but you had to pay a $500 fee to be nominated, I don't think Megan's in that category yet, but that's where awards are going now, I'd love to my podcast to have been nominated,
we met the criteria with numbers, but I wasn't sent in a check for $500, it just felt so tacky to me, Megan would have sent the check, I think, and so when you see these award shows, don't hold you nose, don't believe there's so much politics, there's so much behind the scenes, stuff going on, that we should take them with a pinch of salt. Exactly, I couldn't agree with you more, now Daily Mail plus exclusive reporting, we touched
On this on yesterday's nerve, but I'm dying to get into it with you Rob, Alli...
The basic report is, Harry never wanted to be a strange from his family, but this is the
quote, but he was madly in love when he was madly in love with Megan, he was happy to go along with whatever she had to say, now quote, the veil is lifting, what does this tell
“you about A, the state of their marriage, and B, the state of their, I think, I think”
Harry and Megan now have separate camps that are briefing independently of each other. Yeah, this is bombshell reported and I have to tip my hat to Allison, she's the best in the business, I want to be her with I grow up, she just is so, so good, we've disagreed on stuff over the years, stories, she's always right, it's not made, she's the one though, what gets it right, her sourcing is impactful, so I first read this too, I was a
little stunned, it took me a minute to swallow this and then I started hitting the phones and it wasn't that I was checking up on her, I was just seeing the lay of the land, she's onto something, the people close to Harry are saying there's been a change, he really enjoyed being back in Britain, this is who he is, when I go back home to Britain, it smells different, everything feels so right, because that's where I grew up, if ever you've
been back to your childhood home or a city that you grew up in, those are your people, you know that world, California's a very strange place, not just for Brits, but for everybody, it's a very alien place for a guy that grew up with gloomy weather every day, Britain is great gloomy and suddenly all that sunshine, I'm sure he doesn't know what to do with himself, so we've heard for a long time that Harry's not quite just happy in California
as he lets on or as Meghan lets on, he spends a week in Britain and even though it was a troublesome week, he was home, he knows that country, he knows how to do it, I saw him interacting with people in Birmingham, my hometown, I knew people who were at the event I'm from Birmingham, and they said he was terrific, there was no Meghan there, it was old Harry, he was being cheeky and funny, and he has this ability to connect with regular
people in a way that he's brother doesn't, I'm a big fan of Williams, but he can be a bit stiff when he's in crowds, Harry gets down on the floor, he rolls around, he
“kids around, and so there was a glimpse of the Harry that we love, but I think more importantly,”
there was a glimpse of Harry too Harry, he remembered the good old days and they were good old days, he was the most popular royal by far, they really loved him, they really miss him, and I think now he's missing them too, as you grow older, you do start to look around and you wonder and things are not going well, not just in California, but also within his marriage and the second point you made which I think is excellent is just from
my own report in, I'm hearing different things now from the success, if I call my sources close to Meghan, they often tell me stuff that my sources close to Harry, don't know
about or have never thought about, really, they don't communicate, can you give us an example
of a contradiction? Sure, so for instance, when his camp was putting out that they were all going to Britain, they were all going to go to Britain and we all blew that whole week, the whole week was staying at Buckingham Palace, then we're going to go and stay at Princess Diana's ancestral home, all throughout park and so his camp was putting that out, Megan's camp at the same time was putting out, not so fast, she hasn't committed yet, and so
“I was like that was, and ultimately I think that's why that conversation became so confusing”
and so, so we're topsy-turvy because we were getting two different, two different insights from a couple who should be traveling together, so that was a really interesting example. It reminds me, you have to have a longer time on this earth, but it reminds me of when Bill and Hillary's marriage, Bill Clinton and Hillary was really in crisis, their camps were briefing
two separate things, when a married couple, especially one that rich and powerful, when each
camp is telling you something different, that's how you know, allegedly reportedly a marriage is in trouble. Yeah, that's what happened with them. I used to be Jessica Simpson's publicist when she broke up with Nicola Schae, remember they had that very popular TV show newlyweds, Nick's camp was saying very different things than I was saying, and that's when I knew that they were really in trouble, journalists would call me and say well we're hearing this
from Nick's people, but we're hearing that from something very different from Jessica's people, if couples aren't talking about stuff like this, there's real problems. If they can't get together their travel schedule, how can they get anything else together? I'm told that communications within the relationship have absolutely broken down and he was recently in New York for another bogus award show where he was given time 100 as sort of athlete award and she didn't come.
Yeah, that would not have happened five years ago, she would have come.
together, they stayed at the same hotel together, and so saying that the she didn't come because she was tired or the kids we've heard this in our own lives, when people start getting tired when they start not turning up for their spouse, there's a problem. Yes, and Harry wasn't just a time 100 as a presenter or as a bobble and accessories, he was there for Invictus 2027, which was why he was ostensibly in the UK the week before. This is his most meaningful enterprise
allegedly reportedly and people magazine, what I also find very interesting, people magazine is historically Megan's preferred outlet. They are historically very friendly to her. So they will basically regurgitate her press releases. This is from their new edition, which by the way is the
cover, Harry's royal reconciliation or reunion at last, the report is that Megan has always
quote, "let Prince Harry lead," when it comes to the royal family published July 16th, are you kidding me, she's always let Harry lead have we not all read and seen and heard these interviews that Megan's the one who was like, "Hey, you're trapped." He told Oprah, he didn't know he was trapped in the royal family till this one told him, but she's always let him lead and now she's super happy for him to like make up. This to me, tell me if you are of the opinion I am. This to me says the
power dynamic in this relationship has shifted and Harry's holding all the cards now and Megan better play fucking ball or she's going to be left in the dust. She will be the former Megan
“Sussex. Yeah, but I think you really hit the nail on the head because five years ago, she was the”
savior. She came along to save him and she liked that and she got him to America and the two of them really believed they were going to be super stars. They were going to be wealthy
and famous and potentially more powerful outside the royal family than within it. I think Princess
Diana was someone that they both looked at. After Princess Diana got divorced her popularity, her power only increased. So I think they thought that specifically she thought that. The name shallow reading of Diana, post divorce. None of that has worked for them and now Megan has realized what has made her so famous is her connection to royalty and that's just realized this. She thought she was saving him. She thought that she could bring her magic to his already huge
portfolio. Let's say and she could turn this royal power that he had. This golden goose of being a member of the royal family. She could turn that into something like her dear friend Chris Jenner did for Bruce. Bruce was the athlete. Bruce had all the awards but it wasn't until Chris Jenner that Bruce started to make millions. She was going to be the manager of Harry and adding cert herself into it and I think the Jenner example is a really good one. Because Bruce Jenner
was a log so he didn't really work that much after he worked very hard to win his gold medals.
“But then he didn't really figure out who he was until Chris Jenner told him and that's what”
Megan thought she would do with Harry. None of it has worked. None of it has gone to plan and so now they're looking for a B plan. There's no way she's moving back to Britain. I just don't buy it. I feel Alison's reporting was spectacular. I've read it three times. I think Harry's people are saying that a return to Britain could be possible. I just don't believe that Megan will ever, ever be happy in Britain. Maybe I'm here in Australia. Maybe a governor ship of Australia.
They want to be working royals again but they don't want to work in royals living in Britain. And they want half in half out. That's what they're working. And also the reporting has been consistently for at least a couple of years now that if Harry truly wants to work his way back in number one his only shot is under a King Charles reign. Yeah. Not a King William and number two Harry's fine. It's got to be without Megan. That's the reporting. They were relieved but people
“that were at the Invictus Games. I think it was on a Friday that when he was in Birmingham,”
I spoke to organizers. I grew up in that city. I know that said he really well. And I spoke to some of the organizers they were thrilled when Megan didn't show up.
First-hand rob is primarily working class. Yeah. It's like it's like pictures.
So it's real salt of the earth people who know a phony when they see one. And they don't want
The likes of Megan Markle swanning about making demands and using them as pho...
Hmm. I joke that's why I had to leave. But seriously they do. They do go for a phony. But they see one which I have to say to hear it or go for a phony rap. They're great people. They can't be doomed with this nonsense. And when she was going to go, they got writers. They got demands. They were told how to address her. She still has to be called Dutchess.
“And he's not like that. I'm annoyed with him too. I think that he's gone down a really”
dumb path and has made dumb choices. But they're still a little glimmer to that cheeky naughty Harry that I used to really like. And I'm not alone there. He was the most popular royal owner.
Every opinion poll he always did the best now he's at the very bottom. But she would be very
easy for him to put all this on her. She can become the yoga owner of this disaster. I think he can move through this. He's got a second chance. She doesn't. If he gets them, if he does make his way back in and gets the most brilliant strategist, like brand strategist that the palace has to offer, they will study this in business school for decades to come. Our final Sussex item before we move on to others. Other offenders.
Megan has reportedly dumped her court stenographer slash for lap dog. Oh, mid scoby. This is another Rob exclusive, which again, this is a tectonic shift. Oh, mid. Um, it was the one in that foreign edition of whatever second biography he did where the names leaked of the of the royals who Megan accused of making those racist statements against Archie when he was still in the womb. Yeah. Yeah. He's a really odd character. He's freelance
“for all the big magazines, including us weekly. And I think people magazine at one point,”
he's made a fortune of being Megan so called best friend. And she has had somebody out there who works at major publications, who would defend her. He was in those meetings. He was on those calls. Several things here. Those publications don't matter anymore. And so she doesn't need anybody fighting for her at us weekly. It's by weekly now. Well, I think it would change the name. Is it still us weekly? Is it us by weekly? It's now us. It's now just us because it's gone by
weekly. Because that would be awkward. So she doesn't need anybody in those rooms anymore, because they don't really matter what she needs are our influencers on people, people on social media and people outside the mainstream media, which omit is not part of. He has a, he's now positioned himself as a movie maker. He's in Hollywood, trying to make movies. And so she's
“done to now. You know, I think that this is a track record there with Megan. When she doesn't”
need you when you're no longer useful, you're gone. Or my insider's tell me, she'd dumped,
he would never have dumped her. Even if he's not in the meetings that people magazine
in a weekly anymore, having Megan on speed dial is useful. Who's going to ever get rid of that? So he did not dump her. She just stopped returning calls. She stopped returning texts. She no longer reaches out. I think now we've seen her really cozy up to some influencers. She's a adaptable, but also that's a nice way of saying it. I mean, maybe a truthful way of saying it. There's no loyalty with Megan Markle. She was friends with PS Morgan for a minute.
She was friends with the folks on the today's show for a minute. She was friends. There's a whole laundry list. Including celebrities. She was friends with the Beckhams when she needed them. And then the ministry feels like she doesn't need them. They're all gone, but this is what we
should all learn about in life. We always need one another. And if we start just dismissing people
because we don't need them right now, that means when we do need them tomorrow, they won't be there. At some point, all these people, this army of people that she's tossed aside, they could be good friends. There could be somebody that could give us some advice. There's somebody that could tell her the truth that somebody would burst her bubble. She doesn't have any of that anymore. She lives in an literal bubble of people who say yes. Well, here's where I could, why I completely
believe you're right, aside from you being just an incredibly well-sourced reporter who's been around forever at dumping omits skull B, just ask her first husband or second husband as the case may be Trevor Angleson reportedly allegedly who she FedExed. She announced the marriage was over by FedExing him back the engagement and wedding rings. Sounds note. And number two to your point, you know, there's also not for nothing the adage. Be, be, treat well the people you meet on your
way up because you will meet them on your way down. And if these reports coming out about the
State of this marriage have any validity and I believe that they do, she is i...

Moving on to another public face plant and this is we have not seen Tom Cruise make I would say not since couch jumping on Oprah over Katie Holmes. Have we seen a public embarrassment like this by Tom Cruise. He gave an opening speech at the World Cup. Who knew that it needed an opening speech by a celebrity? It didn't go over well. We're going to take a look at a little bit from the
beginning and then we're going to talk about your exclusive about the backlash to Tom here we go. Now it's notable. There are two things to me. It wasn't just actor and producer. They had to include global icon which I'm sure was Tom's demand and number two they introduced him and it's like silence. It is because everybody's scratching their heads saying why the hell is he here? Why is he here? The Europeans had even more fun with this than we did. They were like
what is going on? They've never seen anything like this. This whole half-time performance is
branded. This has never happened before. Oh, I know that. No, they don't do this in Europe. They don't do it anywhere else. And so the bridge for like can we just play football? Like can we just

talking to people who were there and they said he was strong and he knew in the moment because often film actors don't know because sets are closed and so they never really get a feel for it until the movie comes out months, months later. When they're doing the work they don't know if they're bombing or succeeding because as a camera they're not an audience. There's 80,000 people there last night. They tell you immediately and so he knew that this was not going well right
from the beginning. It was all in the teleprompter. He was rushing through it. People in the stands thought he was quoting one of his movies. They were like is this frog top gun? So it was a very sort of inspiring, Scientology type speech. People too. We're saying it felt like a TED talk that they'd
be laughing. It was very mel Robbins. It was very dark to fail. It was basically like sports brings
people together. Yes. Which we all know. You've just said. We just lived through the next in New York City. You know, here's in Palestinians. We're hugging each other in the street. We got it. It's so worth two because Tom is a native New Jerseyan. He is from New Jersey. The world cup was played

crews who struggled as a kid in New Jersey and just wanted to be famous and grew up poor versus
the Tom crews of today who was really no idea what's going on in the real world. I mean that golf could not be wider. You're right. We got to see it, which made it so delicious like it. And he went on and on and on and on and everybody was scratching their heads. They couldn't understand it. I was lucky enough to have some sources backstage. And they said some of the performers were giggling. Some of Madonna's dances were like, what? Yeah, Madonna's a mean girl when it
comes to that stuff. And he'd remember to do their dare with having costs in her case. And he said, oh, your show was so neat. And Madonna turned to the cameras. She was like neat. Like such a
“fucking door. I think as kids were with them. She's a mean girl. So they were all rolling their eyes”
at top. He's stunned by this. He doesn't get this feedback quickly. And or even at all, like he doesn't perform live. He doesn't, he doesn't do this stuff. And so he's stung his really desperate for this movie. This, this digger, this movie he has coming out to be hit and said, Tom attaches himself to, to, to re-op things. What he does? You know, I was going to ask you about this briefly. And we can get into it later. But like, he's already doing publicity for this
movie digger, which is directed by Alejandro Inyoritu, is tip to become, like they're, they're going, I shouldn't say tip, but they're clearly going for Oscar recognition here. Yeah. He showed up again. This was another press publicity stunt that backfired. He showed up at the AMC Lincoln Square in
“New York City. I think it was on Thursday night. He was supposed to be there for a 1045 PM showing”
of the Odyssey. He showed up really late. He blamed traffic. Maybe, maybe not. I don't know. And so then the reporting is he insisted that all of the AMC staff who had to work late, so that he could watch a three-hour movie, begin screening it like midnight, watch it with him. I'm sure they'd rather be home in there. They wanted to go home. They wanted to go home. And so it's all toned death. It's all an insight into what the nerve does better than anybody else. This celebrity
culture that is just so strange and so detached. It's not what it was like. It's the 80s Tom Cruise rocking up to a cinneplex. It would be Beatles level hysteria. When each 26 Tom Cruise rocking up to an IMAX screening of the Odyssey late, it's like please sir go home. You have five more screening tomorrow. It's in like three more theaters. Come back. Do us a solid. Come back. Okay, two more quick hits. You have this great. Okay. We did Sunny Austin yesterday, but you you move this
story further, which I love. I thought, God, this is Rob's genius. This is you. Sunny Austin's son, quote, honest mistake, leaves insider asking one big question, which is,
why was he where he was in the first place? Place, one source tells naughty but nice. If you're training
for hill sprints, there are countless safer places to do it. Why choose active train tracks, which people around there know is not where someone goes for exercise. It's known as a rough spot
“where people get in trouble. That's why so many are asking what he was really doing there. Rob,”
my interpretation of said question, which I think is the only real relevant one is. You could you could come to two conclusions, my opinion. You're looking for rough trade or you're looking for drugs or both three. I want to reference. We love history on the nerve. Membo and Zach Efron was found on Skid Row in LA. It was Bemba. That is such a dark story.
I blacked it out, Rob. And we never really asked why he was there. Now we know why, but at the time
we didn't and had he taken a wrong turn, had he got off the highway at the wrong place. Listen, you could take a wrong turn in LA and hit Skid Row when you're like, I got to get the fuck out of here. You don't like linger. Yes, you don't linger. And so the minute I heard this sunny story, I had flashbacks to Zach Efron. Why was there? What was it? It was a Disney flashbacks to Rob. Remember when George Michael made the rest? The late great was arrested in a public bathroom.
And it was like, did George Michael just really have to take a week so badly while jogging? Or was he looking for an anonymous gay sex? It turned out to be the latter. Now that's just that's just a pop cultural reference. It normally does. And we're just doing references here. We're trading carefully. This is historical facts here as a history lesson on the nerve. History has shown
Us when a celebrity is in a place.
Very rarely do we end up in the rough part of town. Very rarely do we literally end up on the wrong
side of the railway tracks. We've all lived in cities that have trains where I grew up. The railway tracks were where dodgy stuff went on. If you wanted to go and score drugs, if you wanted to go and find a little bit of love for a few minutes, you might head. You know what I noticed after I read that item before we get to our last one with you today. When I went back and looked at that body cam footage, there were like rows of port of bodies in the background. And it's like,
“why is a rich kid who went to Harvard and one of New York City's most elite high schools?”
You're training at Equinox. You're at Central Park. You're at a private track. You're somewhere where you can get a fresh smoothie when you're done. You're not over by the train drugs. You're
never by the trade tracks. Who goes? Think of just the New York. The dodgy is parts of the Yorker
around trade stations. It's just the fact. It's just where I think it's because it's so transitory. The people are literally moving through their millions of people every hour. And so you can get into trouble and move on quite quickly. You can find something you shouldn't be looking for and nobody knows because it's so anonymous. And so to be cornered a train track, even in the suburbs, one has to wonder why was he there? And I think if you look at history, if you look at celebrity
“history, there's not that many reasons. You are a genius. Our last item with you, another celebrity”
at a place she had no business being at Blake Liveley showed up at the World Cup as wanted as Tom
Cruz apparently. Okay, Tom, get yourself out of there. Just hold your powder till we get closer
to your October release date. So she shows up at the World Cup after her Taylor Swift corporate merger snub. And she took a selfie with now our friend group has degraded. Okay. We're not running around with Taylor anymore. She photographed herself with a group and we have to ID these people by like friend. Stony Clover founders Kendall and Libby Glazer, no idea who these two are. Long time friend Emma Gray, believe she's a civilian. You know, her husband was apparently there.
Psychoarsanist Ryan Reynolds was apparently there. He did not appear in the photo, which to my mind, just my interpretation means Ryan did not want to be seen with his wife on social media. And this is a guy, a photo like this would be on brand because his welcome to wreck some reality show is about UK football. So this says a lot. Talk to us. She's she's looking for that new girl squad and she would love to turn back the clock and have Taylor Swift be the leader of that squad. It's gone.
And so instead of moving, you can't even get ice-spice to show off. She got that face.
“So it looks like she can't get her husband either. And so I think that it just humiliates her.”
She'd be better off to stay at home. She didn't need to be there. Everybody wanted to go. This is a hard ticket to get and for her to take four seats for VIP seats for people who probably don't give a damn about football. They probably don't know any of the rules about it. It was such a selfish move, but it's such a Blake move. And it's all about Emma. She thinks she's going to get one over on Taylor Swift. You have the NFL. I've got soccer. It's all nonsense. Taylor
has won this. Blake said that. This is not a good look for you. She's desperate to prove to us all that she's happy and she's out there and she's not hiding. We all know the truth. We all see through it. It mainly almost feel bad for Blake, almost. Don't feel bad for Blake, Rob. She's not wanted. She tried to just destroy someone's career and reputation. And she's asking him to pay her legal bills. Okay. My opinion. She's in my opinion the culture and the public at large.
Do you not want her? We would like to not see her for a very long period of time. I'm with you. 100%. I hope she's listed it. Thank you, Rob. For joining us on today's nerve Ednight. We love you. We will see you soon. Take care, my friends. Take care. Bye. Coming up, trouble maker feedback and a blockbuster follow up from our favorite royal expert on what is really going on with Harry and Megan. We are back in a minute.

them you're a troublemaker and that the nerve sent you. Now it is time for some incredible troublemaker feedback and visual art beginning with one of set. We're just going to show one for now, but we're going to show all of them trust me. Trouble-maker Jessica Cardosa from Long Island, my fellow native Long Islander, DMed this to Marlena, who then sent it to me. I died. Jessica, I died. I'm going to read a little bit of her email first.
So, a pond seeing that I have a palm, now I have two, but Teddy's the first. Jessica used to have a palm as well. Her name was Missy and Jessica writes, I'm sorry.
She lived just shy of her 17th birthday. She will always have a special place in my heart.
I am so sure she will Jessica. Jessica goes on. I work as a video producer editor recently dabbling in some AI assisted creative and so when she saw the nerve introducing using, using palms and sometimes Teddy for cold opens, Jessica immediately thought, "Oh, this is so sweet. I have to make some for her." Okay, we're going to watch the first one and this is Teddy. We all know Teddy's about to take over the sub-stack. I mean, he's writing a column. He's updating you guys on his active
case file of missing persons, you know, steadmen still number one, but we know he's going to take over the nerve eventually. I mean, he's got ambition. We can see it coming from a mile away.
Here's the first of Jessica's AI videos of Teddy barging his way into the studio and taking my chair.
Here we go. The producers here. That's Teddy. You captured Teddy. I mean, he is such a diva. He knows he's a star and he's just,
“he's like, you know, I sometimes say to Marlena if anything happens to me and now I think, you know,”
Teddy's, Teddy could be a suspect. Okay. Here we go. Trouble-maker feedback, Howard, Stern, high-moreen as a former superfan and this is trouble-maker Jenny. So this is interesting. There are a lot of females, myself, among them, who used to be superfans. When I heard the news this week that Howard had fired a dozen staffers and dropped his show to only one day a week, she said, I have to email morey and ask her to do a show about this.
Low and behold, imagine my surprise when I logged onto YouTube and saw your mini-header, Howard Stern. I swear we are Kendrid Spirits Jenny. I think we and all the trouble-maker community are Kendrid Spirits. And by the way, we are going to close today's trouble-maker feedback with our third email from an author claiming to be one, Steadman Graham, high-moreen, your guest Steve Grillo on the Stern mini was awesome. We got so much positive feedback to Steve's
interview. And more than one, trouble-maker, who said, reminded me of Bill from Brooklyn, a real
New Yorker, a trouble-maker for life, Jill says, Howard was and always will b...
I will always remember Howard as the coward of COVID. He acted like everyone was going to die,
fuck him. You know, there was a report out in East Hampton at the very very beginning of lockdown that in the Citarella in East Hampton, which is like this kind of gourmet supermarket. Two people walked in. They were very tall, very thin, and they were like in-head-to-toe hazmat suits. And I heard that, I read that, and I thought to myself, that sounds like Howard and Beth Stern. It doesn't matter if it's a pocket full or not or an incorrect interpretation. It's believable.
“Right? It has what they called in like the early odds, like the sound of truthiness, you know what I mean?”
This is, you know, this I have to address. Sometimes we get emails like this, and I'm kind of like, so it begins high-moreen. Sorry, but this is not a nitpick. You keep calling out people for malepropisms, and this is one that you are in repeat violation of it as a duty. I've emailed before, okay, you are a bit of a school troublemaker, and nobody loves a school. I realize I could be calling, this could be the pot calling, the kettle black. I do, but
you've kept count. You say this has happened at least seven times since I started watching in February. Okay, so this troublemaker goes on to say it is called a book excerpt, not a book extract,
“troublemaker, Tanya. I used to call it the same as well, and then when I began writing books and”
working with publishers and literary agents in the trade, it is referred to as an extract. I am being proper when I refer to what you insist. Our book extracts, as, sorry, book excerpts, as book extracts. Extracts is correct, but I hope you still enjoy watching the nerve. I hope this
hasn't put you off. Lenny versus Mick. Hi, Maureen. I loved Lenny Kravitz when he first became a
rock star. Fun fact, did you know Lenny Kravitz used to go by the name Romeo Blue, and this was back in the day when he was simply dating Lisa Bonet, and she was the much bigger star. Now, not only is he extremely talented, he is, but he was cool. He had a very, he had a cool air about him a unique style, and this troublemaker says, this troublemaker Patricia, she writes quite a bit. He's trying too hard now, and he is, he's trying too hard.
“By contrast, Mick Jagger also supremely gifted, I think of the two, Mick, is the bigger talent.”
Was, and is totally comfortable in his own craggy skin. As you pointed out, he was a beautiful young man. He does not define himself by his youth or beauty. He lets his talent speak for him. He is the epitome of cool confidence. This is by this troublemaker's report. I haven't read this, but it has the ring of truth. Rob Lowe, who do, I do consider the Gen X George Hamilton in the
sense that Rob Lowe has, like, a ton of great stories, and he tells them, and he is never really
mean in his tellings, and he seems to really enjoy being famous, which in the day and age is refreshing. He seems to have it in proportion. You know what I mean? Rob Lowe said something so funny about five years ago, quote, "I had lunch with Mick Jagger, and he is so charming if he asked me to sleep with him, I would have." Love it. Dear Moring, I just finished, so this is a troublemaker named Vanessa in Canada, who says she just had a meeting with a friend who is an RCMP officer in Canada.
Royal Canadian mounted police in Canada. This troublemaker writes, "I read verbatim." I asked about psychoarsanist Ryan Reynolds and the statute of limitations on arson. My officer friend said that although there is no statute of limitations for arson, as we have said many times, many a time excuse me on the nerve. That Ryan would not be charged either in 1987 when Ryan set this fire, set fire to his elementary school, burdened to the ground. Nor 2026 because of his age at the time
of the crime, parenthetical Ryan was ten years old in March of 1987. I mean, that makes it even
Creepier to me.
It's chilling. I find it chilling. Trouble maker Vanessa continues if Ryan has lived 40 years without a
“long-sorted criminal record. Then a judge wouldn't consider him a risk to the public,”
parenthetical hard disagree for me. That's Vanessa. She says she also asked if Ryan's parents in 1987 should have been held accountable instead of their child, but warrant because Ryan's father was an RCMP officer. I was told, quote, "Maybe but probably not." And that's only if the police knew who had set the fire, which I don't think they did. Remember, Ryan confessed to this in an interview, which we've referenced many times. But he was an adult. He was a famous actor at the time
he admitted to it. And then said he hoped that some poor schmuck, Ryan's words, hadn't spent time in prison for what he did. This is not the news I was hoping for, of course, but my officer friend said, and I quote, "He's married to Blake. He's lost his gin business. His career is ruined.
“His life is his punishment. Karma's a bitch, but not as much of a bitch as Blake lively.”
Just as troublemaker and her friend in the RCMP. Thank you both for your service, Dear Morin. This is from a troublemaker who says his name is Tim H, who caught our clip on Timothy Allefint and our speculation that Timothy Allefint, whether he knows it or not, may be a troublemaker. This troublemaker claims that he and his sounds true. I've been friends with Tim since 1991
and he has always been a troublemaker in the best sense of the word. We are happy to hear it.
Finally, our third postcard from an author claiming to be Steadman Graham. Teddy is remote still on the ground in North Carolina attempting to verify the authenticity of some video that a local fox affiliate aired. But he is also on the hunt for a handwriting expert. We are going to read it to you nonetheless. Dearest Morin, again, allegedly reportedly from Steadman. Steadman, wait, I don't have the right one. Wait, I don't have the right one. I'll have to find
wait. Is this it? Is this it? No, I don't know where it is. Teddy, did he take it with him? I'll find it. I'll find it. We will read it on Fridays, Nerve. Okay, I promise. Keep your feedback coming. Please keep your feedback coming. Email me at [email protected] or DM me on Instagram at

Welcome back to the nerve. You are a site for sore eyes. We love to see you. Looking gorgeous as ever. Thank you. I get wonderful to be here with you.
We need to talk about your explosive revelation that curiously, the mainstream media is ignoring whistling past the graveyard. Prince Harry, by your very well-sourced report,
Has fallen in love with another woman.
I tell you more, it absolutely dropped in my lap, because somebody they are connected officially
“on state level in America. I've sworn to secrecy, but they are very well connected. I didn't”
don't know them from Adam, but they got in touch with my agent, who got in touch with me and they said, "Check us out, it's all absolutely real. We are very rich and they are really, very checkable." I mean, they are absolutely impeccable. And evidently, Harry has fallen in love with someone who, I don't want to say, lives in Monteseeto or near Monteseeto, because I don't, you know what
it's like. If you say too much, you might give away. Exactly. But he's fallen in love with, they have
been seen out and about. And he's in love with her, and she's in love with him, supposed to be. Now you have stopped short, Lady C, of saying that Harry is having an affair.
“Yes, because on the British law, if to do that would open me up to the possibility of life,”
understood, and those two are very litigious. But it's America, and I'm going to say that my interpretation, you know, the Daily Mail had an exclusive that ran, the Daily Mail plus over the weekend, which sort of breadcrummed right up to your explosive revelation, the quote from somebody who is reportedly not sympathetic to the Sussexes, back when Harry was madly in love with Megan. He would allow himself to be let around by her. The implication being,
Harry, the generous interpretation, Harry is no longer madly in love. My interpretation is, he's no longer in love with her. The scales have fallen from his eyes, and then you drop this bombshell that there is another woman in the photo, and not in the picture, and not only that, I'm so excited. My words are tumbling out. Not only that, Megan discovered this affair by discovering text messages on his phone. Do we know when? Well, I didn't ask when,
because I didn't, I don't want to compromise. I wanted the nuts and bolts, and I don't want the menusia, because the menusia begins to compromise the people, you understand? It's like. I'm very keen to protect them, but it's evidently absolutely rare, and as you say, it does stuff tail with what the mail was saying that when Harry was in love with Megan, and if you notice, he's been rather unusually behaved recently. Yes, not only that, you know, this all tracks, because I don't,
we don't know how long this has been going on for. The reporting from you is that the quote-unquote other woman is somebody Harry's age. She is age-appropriate. In and around the environments of Montesito, which means probably of money, some power, discretion, understands all of that. What I find remarkable actually is his father's son. Perhaps now he understands what it is to be trapped in an unhappy marriage, and the comfort that one can find, especially living in the gilded cage in which
“he does live, but they have been making appearances separately for quite some time. I believe it was”
last year when Megan and Harry announced they were separating professionally, that their brands were parting ways, and I thought to myself, back then, this is the precursor. This is the precursor to an
actual, emotional, marital separation. Well, the reality is that the whole thing has been on
sustainable. I mean, this degree of malice and toxicity and disruptiveness could not have continued at the rate it was going, and what I found interesting was on the back of all of this information that I got from this very well-placed political people in America, and ironically enough, they are liberal. They are not right winners. They are liberal, which actually opened up a whole load of questions for me, but I don't want to run down that rabbit hole because it might cause problems,
but I think that Harry has been for a while now, been chasing at the bit, and it's becoming a
Parent, and when you start to think of Megan, you know, she's coming, she's n...
the children are coming, the children are not coming. She was always in a position of weakness
in terms of that visit, and she's tried to spin it, but she was somehow in a position of strength, but they may have fact that the kid insisted on seeing Harry for a few minutes on his own first, that told me because, I mean, in our world, you can cover the most important terrain in two sentences, you know, you just ask a question and you, and that's all you need,
“you don't go into any great detail, and I think that the kid most likely knows about this as well.”
All of the CDC, what you just said that in your world, you can cover the most important terrain
in one or two sentences brought to mind immediately, recollections may vary, a three word statement for the ages. Now, this is something else that you broke on your YouTube channel, Lady Colin Campbell. Again, I don't understand why the mainstream media is ignoring this, we'll discuss that in a bit. This is a bombshell development as well. Megan, by your reporting, was made to wait outside in the metaphorical hall alone while Harry went in first to see King Charles. The children went
in first to see King Charles. Megan was last to be granted entry. Tell us what this means. It's not just a humiliation of Megan, but the royal family is telling her something very stern, non-verbaly. Well, they're telling her, you've long since forgotten your place, and now you're going to be reminded of it, and you've had the whip hand, and you've been abusing us, and I'm afraid you no longer have the whip hand, and you're not going to be able to abuse this any longer,
and they don't say any of that. They simply keep her waiting, and that's all they need to do to get the message across. Your reporting also is that upon finding these text messages on Harry's phone, regarding the other woman, the quote unquote "other woman", she is and remains "livid" not "livid enough" to divorce him. No, because I was told that basically her "lividness" has nothing to do with emotion. It's all about the brand, and it's about her interests,
and her self-interest, and you know, as long as she has no other options. I mean, let's remember, Ellen's not interested, and Gordon gets his been blocked by his family, so Paul Darling,
“what you know, and Jeff's taken by Lauren. So I mean, the poker, what all her options?”
So I mean, Paul Darling, we really need to cry for her. I mean, maybe we should start stoutes campaign, a billionaire from the exhibit. Oh my goodness, now before we get to your other explosive report regarding the children, I wanted to ask you if what is happening here, regarding that visit with the king, is that Harry is laying the groundwork for some sort of return into the royal fold, which the reporting has long been for years now, that if Harry wants to
work his way back in, Charles would be open to that, but the immovable condition is that it's without Meghan. So are we beginning to see the British royal family lay the groundwork for Harry to actually legally leave Meghan? I don't think that Harry will ever be welcomed back as a working
“royal. I think that if Harry is going to have any tolerable relationship with his family,”
it has to be without Meghan, those she has proven to be so poisonous and so destructive,
and they know what she is and they don't trust her and they never trust her, but that doesn't
mean that Harry is ever going to be allowed back in as a working royal. I don't think it will ever happen. At the very most he would be allowed back in a limited way for private family, even seem the way that Andrew is interesting. Harry has done far worse damage than Andrew did,
She was never disloyal to the family.
divorce, he's also made noise about wanting his children educated in England, and you were reporting
“that William and Catherine, it has been made public. They have decided that Prince George,”
the future king, will be educated at Eaton, where William and Harry were both educated Eaton educates kings. Eaton educates future kings, but it has been made clear that despite what Harry may wish, Archie will not be educated at Eaton. What do you know and did that edict, Lady C, come from William himself? William was as little to do with Harry, Meghan, and their family are possible. There is no way that Harry or Meghan will be able to land her back with those children.
The children have no connection to this country if they are going to be educated here, that becomes a horse of a different color, but that's not a way in for Harry. If he thinks that's the way it's
never going to be. William is absolutely catagarric about the fact that there is no way
he will anything to do with the family and would. Understand, onto your other explosive bombshell exclusively reported by you, Lady C. Your sources, your impeccable sources tell you that Lily was in fact born via surrogate in the state of Colorado, and she was delivered to Harry and Meghan in California by not the Stork, as you so cheekily said, no, no, no, no,
“private jet. I think the only question here is who owned the private jet? Was it Tyler Perry's”
Elton Johns Unknown? Okay, this again, this is explosive because this has been whispered about in media circles. High-level media circles for years that at least one of those children, if not both of them were born via surrogate, once that video came out of Meghan twerking her ungodly twerking ostensibly wall in labor, you know, with what looked like a poorly folded cheap pillow, you know, in her undercarriage, whatever, you know, talk to us, please,
talk to us about what this revelation means and how it matters whether or not the mainstream media
“decides to report upon it. Well, I suspect they're going to give you too wide birth”
because it's so incendiary, because really, if and I need to say this for a little reason, if it is factual, that Lily was born of a surrogate in Colorado, taken to California and delivered, well, if it's if agreed allegedly reportedly yes. And the fact of the matter is that Harry and Meghan will have got those children entered into the line of succession by asserting that the children were born valiantly and that their birth certificates confirm that Meghan gave birth to those
children. So this is such a hot potato and it's still incendiary that I can well see by the mainstream media are hesitant to get involved with it because it's something that's required such delicate
handling because basically they're feeling in the mainstream media, I'm sure you know because you're
a part of the British mainstream media as well through Europe with the mail, is that there's been a big con and but they can't quite kneel down where the con is and it's dangerous for the royal family because it could be depending on what's reported, it could backfire very adversely on the royal family because people will suspect that they were complicit, even though they were not complicit.
So I think that's the reason why the mainstream media have been avoiding this...
because they don't want to rock the boat and they know that whenever anything that becomes totally
very far but should happen, it's going to cause tremendous ruckions and it's going to be extremely embarrassing for the royal family. I have tried to explain on my channel time and again,
“how all you need to do is provide a valid, breast certificate asserting that a married couple”
is the husband, is the father and mother for it to be for the royal family to have no choice but to accept it and if you live in a society which we do, where the rule of law applies, they can't say
oh well we suspect X, Y said Abiancy and we're not going to go along with it. I mean if you stop to think
of the way the royal family has conducted itself throughout this whole matter, they have been very hesitant, they were hesitant to give titles, they were hesitant to put the lily was not putting the line of succession for some considerable length of time. The birth of Archie was more
“and I think lily as well but was presented in the wording of an adoption or a surrogacy.”
It was not done in the standard the royal hang is gave birth to a baby and so there's all of that that's been going on but the whole thing is so nuanced and it's so incendiary that and I don't I think I think you know what I'm trying to say. I know exactly what you're trying to say and before we let you go with one other question I wanted to that what you're saying reminds me you and I have had this discussion on this show. It was either Megan's half brother and or her father
who have said publicly Megan can't biologically physically have children. Am I creating am I remembering that right? Absolutely you know her brother said that Trevor told him
“her first husband when they were together that she had a hysterectomy that's what Trevor told”
Tom Julia and it's you know the likelihood of a husband being lied to in a situation like that is very remote because if you're married to someone you know and they're in the hospital you know they're in the hospital for I mean the doctors can't have the instructions from the way I see you must you must tell my husband I had a hysterectomy when in fact I'm here for something that's like a nose jaw or something I mean it doesn't make sense you know Megan's very
adept at sort of sub-to-fusion and trying to come up with apples or oranges and pairs or
peaches well they're not and and the reality is that Trevor was told according to Tom
by Megan that she was having a hysterectomy and they were very happily married at the time and clearly as her next of King he would have been there with her so I don't see how that can be discounted as effective our last question for you lady see you also exclusively report you know the the the minor scandal in this entire discussion is Megan's Emmy nomination how did this happen how did this cultural catastrophe come to be and the question that you tackled
was did Ted Serando's at Netflix actively move heaven and earth to somehow ameliorate the colossal embarrassment that with love Megan has been for his company and you say yes yeah well I have friends in Hollywood oh I mean if I mentioned the names he would certainly don't worry no but I can't but I mean you know it's it's a no brainer he was
