- Hello and welcome to your summer Friday edition of The Nerve, I am your host, Maureen Callahan, and today's show.

Marlene has surprised me by the way you guys.

As I recover and get better and better, my bronchitis is almost completely gone. Marlene, it looks like she's got it. I don't wanna break it to her, but we talked about it yesterday.

So Marlene, the warrior she is, she worked through it and she created a show in tribute to the troublemakers. We have troublemaker feedback from beginning to end. And tomorrow we have a brand new mini-nerve

and we have never done a mini-like this.

We are so excited to bring it to you and so we ask, are you ready? Are you ready? Let's go. - There's an uptick of people talking about

lymphatic drainage on social media. I love lymphatic drainage from expensive,

the sausages to dry brushing and ice cold rollers.

It can feel like just another wellness trend, but here's the thing. The lymphatic system has no natural pump. Meaning it relies entirely on movement to flush fluids out of our system.

That's where the life pro waiver vibration plate comes in. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on manual massage sessions, this device delivers real muscle activation

and supports fluid movement from the comfort of your own home. Backed by clinical studies showing vibration therapy enhances lymphatic flow,

it's a game changer for daily recovery.

As America's number one vibration plate brand with over 2.5 million users, life pro builds stable premium equipment backed by a lifetime warranty and for a limited time, nerve listeners can get $20 off the waiver vibration plate

plus free shipping with code nerve at lifeprofitness.com. That's lifeprofitness.com and code nerve for $20 off after you purchase, they may ask where you heard about them.

Please support our show, tell them you're a troublemaker and that the nerve sent you. We heard from so many of you, we introduced two new guests to the nerve. One, Billy Bush, you guys,

fucking loved him, we love him. He's definitely coming back, Dr. Jen, number two. And you guys, we saw you in the comments on the YouTube channel and a lot of you got it dead on. You understood it took us a little bit

to find a celebrity, either dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is willing to tell the full truth about the procedures, celebrities have clearly had, because so many of them work with celebrities and they don't want to alienate those people.

Dr. Jen, troublemaker through and through. She's unafraid, she in fact said unprompted at one of the first celebrities we did on that many. If you haven't watched it, I encourage you to go take a look.

It's amazing, she did such a great job.

She leaned into her microphone and she said, that celebrity is a liar, she's a lying. Trouble maker material, right there, natural, natural, Dr. Jen will also be back this from Trouble Maker J, Billy Bush fits into the nerve culture,

fearless, funny, refreshingly honest. He is clearly earned to his stripes and is absolutely, oh yeah, he's a total nerve, nerve, no brainer. She loved the chemistry, who knew we would have chemistry. You know, Billy and I come from two different worlds,

but we have chemistry, keep the bills and the billies rolling into your studio.

It is turning into the best tradition I believe.

She refers to Bill from Brooklyn here as well. I agree, PS, there was a Trouble Maker who wrote in and called the nerve, which we loved, a warm blanket in January for her Trouble Maker J says, it's not a warm blanket in January for me.

It's my treadmill running mate. Can't do the hard yards without the nerve. We love it from Trouble Maker Chris outside of Chicago. Sarah Jessica Parker speaking at Northwestern. I mean, come on, Marine, Northwestern is that next level

of school dressed adjacent to the Ivy League, equivalent of a Stanford MIT or U of Chicago. If I'm a student, I'm pissed.

If I'm a parent who paid for this, I'm more pissed.

But hey, the school produced your two faves,

Colbert and Markle, and my brother. But that's another episode wishing you continued great work and an awesome summer Trouble Maker. Chris from outside Chicago, we thank you. Hello, Marine, Marlena, Teddy, Trouble and Gang.

Trouble Maker here from day one. Now, this is just this Trouble Maker self report, but since the celebrity is being sued for sexual impropriety, I don't know whether it rises

to the level of assault, I believe the charge is sexual assault.

We think this has the ring of truth. And so we are going to preface this again by saying, this is just this Trouble Maker's report. In my opinion, reads, it reads legitimate to me. Now, I've wanted to expose this celebrity pervert to you,

but since this is so cringe, it's taken me until now

to get the nerve. This incident didn't even involve me. I still really grappled with how to word this in a tactful way. Several years ago, my friend, let's call her N, a middle-aged married, gentle, Hispanic woman,

trained in colon, hydrotherapy, worked at a holistic health center with an A-list clientele in LA. The owner would normally treat the high-end clients and would handle the regular ones, meaning the non-famous ones.

One day, the owner was overbooked and N was to treat this celebrity.

Colon hydrotherapy is, I believe this is like a colonoscopy, right?

It's a very intimate procedure. The client is covered in a sheet, naked from the waist down,

tube goes into their bottom, I need say no more.

Just after N begins the procedure, this celebrity male client starts writhing his hips beneath the sheet. She was mortified, not knowing what to do. She ignored it and continued with the treatment.

He keeps writhing. I'm just gonna warn you, this gets graphic, warning you. He then ejaculates right into the sheet. He apologizes very politely. Saying that it just excited him.

He couldn't help it. She was not familiar with the name or face of Garth Brooks. Trouble makers of the best. Until she asked her out. And again, just this trouble makers report.

Value in her job, and this is exactly how these systems work when people say, hey, somebody's accusing that celebrity of something, that celebrity has been in our collective lives for like 20, 30, 40, 50 years. Wouldn't we have heard something by now?

No, no, you wouldn't. And this is exactly why. She valued her job. She never told her boss. She was worried she would get blamed or accused

of initiating something inappropriate. Because trust me, if that boss even had the balls to ask a celebrity, hey, one of my people came to me and said this happened, the celebrity would say, your person came onto me, like that's not true.

Anyway, I'm not saying the Garth Brooks did that or even the Garth Brooks's guilty of that. I'm just saying, you know, that's how these things work. She did, however, tell me, and now years later, I get to tell the nerve, please keep the wood shed

and the chipper going and throw this celebrity ejaculate or directly onto the burn pile. And anybody who's watching Widow's Bay and the final episode, I believe, is airing this week? You know, they had to kill a monster of the week

via cremation to make sure that the remains were really down to dust and bones.

And that's how I think of the burn pile.

Like we're just gonna get them down to metaphorical dust and bones. Cultural dust and bones, trouble maker Cody, who is written before we love you, Cody. He goes, it's Cody from Oklahoma again.

I know, I know, it's okay. Now, Cody says, I saw you talking about Madonna, flashing her Vogueina, lame Vogue, but Marlena might take you to the wood shed for a little late punishment, Cody.

Andrew choice of wardrobe overall refusal to dress an actor age, and this is my favorite part of the email. You guys are gonna die. And then I get on Grindr, hook up app for gay guys. We know Cody, we know what Grindr is.

(laughs) And apparently, Madonna has taken over. She's taken over Grindr. They now Cody also sent a screenshot, which we really appreciate because they've got,

they photographed Madonna wearing, like,

Covered in this sort of pink, or sorry, purple,

tool, fabric, and what she really looks like

is like a two-mescent erect penis. It's not subtle.

You would think there would be some more ingenuity here,

but now, so anyway, Cody reports that Madonna has taken over Grindr in a cross-promotion for the ages, but he agrees with the nerves take, that it is such a turn-off when you see someone like Madonna refusing to act their age when she dresses like she did

at her concert in Times Square, and let's her leg to flash the audience. It does not make her seem young and cool. Again, threads to SJP, not that she's flashin' or vage, but, you know, we're screw, girl, as I can't believe you

and find it, oh my, me, me. Anyway, Cody, a stutley points out,

it actually just highlights her age, okay?

It makes her look even older than her chronological age. It's like when you see older people trying to do TikTok dance challenges, you are so right, Cody. So, right, high-morean and nerve-fam, Christian Slater is on the cover of my neighborhood magazine,

looks pretty good to me. Now, he is on a magazine called Healthy New Albany, and the headline reads mental wellness, the readout award-winning actor, Christian Slater, shares his story, I mean, facially, yeah,

he looks good, what I say, it looks good, that he's on the cover of Healthy New Albany magazine. I would not, I would not say culturally, that's where an actor wants to be, my favorite Christian Slater story,

which I relate on a very early nerve episode, involved the precipitating event that ended Benifer 1.0,

and I will never forget where I was that day.

It's like, where were you in JFK, got shot, although it was not alive, but you know what I mean? I was sitting on the beach, and I had my lunch, and I had my tabloids, and it was a beautiful day, lazy afternoon, I opened the inquire,

which has a world exclusive. Ben Affleck, up in Canada, shooting a film, with Christian Slater, and some other famous people who are now irrelevant, and at the end of the shooting day, they all decided to blow off some steam at a strip club,

where it was reported that Ben Affleck or early serviced at least one stripper in the strip club in front of his cast members, and that gave Jennifer Lopez, the heads up, that Ben was not necessarily the most faithful guy,

and potentially wanted out of this imminent wedding. 'Cause I don't know how else, like, you know, some guys, they just cannot deal with actively having a breakup, and like initiating one, so instead they'll do really stupid stuff,

like really bad stuff where you're like, I have no choice, I have to end this,

but it's like suicide by cop, you know what I'm saying?

Anyway, after that, they according to this inquire report, which is seared into my frontal lobe, they all went back to the house they were renting, and continued the party. Ben, Christian, reportedly allegedly, and the strippers.

And one of the strippers who was hooking up with, I believe Ben, said that at one point in the house, she had occasion to walk by a bathroom, and the door was open, and in that bathroom, she saw another stripper shaving Christian Slater's back,

and as I said before, it's details like that, that really make a story sing, and really let, like, just give it an overall credibility, right, like who would make up that detail, you know what I'm saying? Anyway, troublemaker from the beginning here,

troublemaker L, okay, I love this, we have just two more left, now. A while back, troublemaker L says, I listened to an episode of the nerve where you discussed Chris Stapleton,

and your admiration for both his music, and his artistry, your comments stuck with me, so I started listening to Chris's music, and she fell in love with it as well. When to go see him performing, he was performing nearby on tour.

What struck me most about Chris Stapleton wasn't his voice, although it is extraordinary. It was the sincerity behind every song, at a time when so much entertainment feels manufactured, he comes across as refreshingly authentic.

Yes, he does, and when I saw him, I saw him in Connecticut recently, and he's going to, again, be playing near me in Joan's beach, at Joan's beach on Long Island, but he was playing a casino in Connecticut.

And one of the first things he said on stage,

he shy, he doesn't normally like engage in back and forth with the audience until he sort of kind of gets going. But he said, he told this little anecdote, and it was so endearing, he said, you know, when we first began playing here,

I was playing out on the floor of the casino,

and like one person wandering by stopped and stayed as we did our set, one person. And now look at him, now he's a superstar.

She says two songs always hit me, a simple song,

and millionaire, okay, two millionaires. As I've gotten older, trouble maker L writes, I've realized that the things I value most have little to do, with accomplishments or possessions. Sitting beside my husband, Chris, listening to those lyrics,

I found myself reflecting on how fortunate I am. In fact, those songs brought me to tears as gratitude, washed over me, and this is art at its best. This is culture at its best. Those songs capture something simple but profound,

that a rich life is measured less by what we have

and more by who we have beside us. As thousands of people sang along to every word, it felt less like a concert, and more like a collective acknowledgment of what actually matters in a world that often feels noisy and divided.

And I had a similar experience when I saw Chris Stapleton, it was with the song, Broken Haleos. Everybody was singing along. Everybody was like moved like profoundly. Everybody sharing the same moment and the same feelings,

but about specific losses, incredible.

Moreen, no, no. I am here in Paris for a work trip, lucky you, and was antiqueing this morning, lucky you. But then disaster struck. This trouble maker saw a yellow butterfly

and thought of Jim Curtis, I fear your criminal prosecution,

and his criminal cultural prosecution, minor, minor addition.

Had the opposite effect, and now I am seeing yellow butterflies, don't worry, we're taking Chris back out, sorry, Chris. We're taking Jim Curtis back out to the wood shed. He's asking for it, he's out there circulating. A major talk shows, it's not gonna end well,

culturally, for Jim. Hi, Moreen. I thought you might be interested in a future career

for Harry and Meghan, always as ever,

as it were. On Sunday, this trouble maker writes, trouble maker K, that she was at a plant nursery, love a plant nursery. As I was leaving, I'm gonna show it.

You guys are gonna die. I noticed a portable potty with Markle written on it, it's the name of the company, is Markle's, M-A-R-K-L-E-A-Postrophe-S, Markle's port of bodies.

How about that for some Markle sparkle for 2026?

This trouble maker was kind enough to attach several photos. We love it when trouble makers in the wild, spot things, and send in hard evidence. As we continue to prosecute our case against the recidivist and the repeat offenders of the culture at large,

Matthew McConaughey looking at you, he's out there on these mean streets, doing some good work. Now, trouble maker K continues, this might be a great career for Meghan

when she's finally silenced and actually has to work for a living. I agree, she could service, port of bodies. They have to be service. They can be service to hourly, twice a day, daily, weekly, you know, depending on their frequency of use.

Trouble maker K says that I am sure that a uniform will be provided, which will definitely not be out-cature. It would be funny if it somehow like was a callback to her beekeeping outfit,

which she wore in episode one of With Love Meghan. She will be able to actualize her authenticity as she is performing her tasks. I would love to see this. As I am tired, as are we all trouble maker K,

of people who are phony. Hi, Maureen, okay, I love this letter. Trouble maker A, this really, I just love it. I adore it. She writes since discovering the nerve

about eight months ago that I have become like a new friend. Thank you so much for joining me when we drink our wine and fold laundry together. Thanks for the fun times that we've had riding in the car and running errands.

I really enjoyed it whenever I got to sit under my really warm blanket in January with an espresso martini and listen to you and Rob Koss of about everything going on in the world by the way, loved his novel, I love it too. And I love this as a metaphor.

This is what we at the nerve aim to be for trouble makers.

We want to be that warm blanket in January

that you get yourself cozy under, we want to be the espresso martini. You make for yourself as you sip and enjoy as we just break down everything that's going on. We love this, we love this, this trouble maker says she's going through a fairly stressful time.

So hang in there, we are here for you, trouble maker A. We are here for you. She also says that she thinks almost daily about the segment that we at the nerve have come to call the letter. And I think that this segment is in the running for

a nerve award, 2026. This is the letter that a man named Tim Stewart wrote to the family of the late in excess front man and songwriter Michael Hutchins upon his death,

upon Michael's death and how Michael was such a key figure

in his life when they were both about nine and 10 years old, Tim was bullied constantly.

And Michael, you should go watch it, listen to it,

I can't do it justice, I can't do it justice, the way Tim wrote this thing. But as I've said, if you have a child who is being bullied or you're witnessing bullying behavior and you're not quite sure how to step in

or you suspect that your child might be the bully, this letter is a template, it's a blueprint. As Drew Barry Moore said to Bell Burton, "It's a scout's guide." You know, I mean it, I mean it in all sincerity.

Go watch the letter, the Michael Hutchins letter.

Okay, she says, "My goal is to share that story

with my son when he is a few years older." I think that's very wise. He's only three now. The world needs more of that story. It couldn't agree more.

I wonder if there is an opportunity to turn that

into a children's book. Tim Stewart, reach out, I'll hook you up. Okay, dear Marine, greetings from Colorado, California Transplant for many years ago, thank goodness. This troublemaker recently had surgery

that left her house bound for 12 weeks. Oh my God. Oh, troublemaker, we're right there with you. Okay, during what she calls her incarceration, she discovered that we are very happy to have you.

She says that every day, when it's time to feed her little rescue dog named Gizmo and we are showing photos of your sweet, sweet Gizmo here. I see a lot of Teddy in this guy. Teddy's number one past time is a nap.

Number one, I call out to Gizmo, are you ready? Are you ready? Let's go. And he comes running no matter where he is sleeping in the house.

Love it, trouble maker P, love it. Give Gizmo kisses from all of us at team nerve. Okay, trouble maker S asks, have you seen the roast of Kevin Hart on Netflix? Not yet, not yet, but I will say.

Kevin Hart recently laid down a challenge to the culture and the nerve is picking that challenge up. That's all we're going to say for now. This trouble maker believes that this roast went beyond comedy, exposed some truth

and overall was incredibly mean spirited. She would like the nerve to put our investigative eye on it. We will do so and report back. Another trouble maker sent this no note just the petition. You guys should know that there is a petition

circulating online to remove Blake lively, who by the way just happened just happened to be photographed by paparazzo, again, these people call the paps. They call the paps. They're not wandering around aimlessly

hoping that they've stumble upon Blake lively and downtown New York, no, no, no, no, no, no. They are called, we think about what we're going to where we get our hair and makeup professionally done. And then we go outside and you know, we do.

We jointly hop on our husband's back to prove A that we are not as fat as Blake thought Justin Belldoni may have been implying. She was post childbirth, you know, that was like the whole heart.

I believe a big part of the heart of her anonymous towards him.

So anyway, she's wearing like $800 Christian Louboutin shoes, heels and she just hops on Ryan's back and they're having the best time you guys in downtown New York. The best time, I mean, Taylor won't take her calls

Taylor's court side at the only bat NBA finals

that have mattered in recent memory.

No, no, no, no, no, no.

We're having the best time, Ryan's giving us a piggyback ride.

There is an online petition circulating to get Blake lively removed from the producer's guild of America, the PGA. And if you are so inclined, you can find it and you can sign it.

Trouble maker action, OK, from our beloved Paul from New Zealand. This artwork, Paul, again, I have so much artwork that Paul sends and I just, I love each and every piece. This one, though, we had to add this new nerve artwork.

Paul writes is in trouble maker reply to Megan Markle,

Blake lively, Jack Schlossberg, or whatever keyboard bully. He meld Marlena, how dare they? I agree completely. I agree completely, Paul.

So Paul depicted me in a piece that he calls Morin.

I woke up like this, hashtag fuck you, love it. Including Teddy and Trouble in silk, Pope. Sorry, silk, pop. I wanted to admit my mind went sick, puppy, no, no, no, no. OK, because those people are the sick puppies, not us.

Teddy and Trouble are in silk, pop P.J.'s note, Paul says the yellow butterflies. They naturally flew in the window, note the pups are holding the two best books in the nerve book club. I can guess I'm not looking at the, at the full screen right at the moment. I sent it to Marlena so fast, Paul so fast.

You know, I didn't have a moment to look at the Easter eggs, note the tubes and co-products on the red velvet footstool in Perenz, Paul writes, I know the assignment. We know you know Paul, we know you know. I attempted to title the artwork, nerve woke, Paul writes, however, my device practically crashed in shock.

Hence, our two words that shall never become a portmanteau, cheers, Paul, Paul, cheers, to you.

And Marlene, yes, Jason Sudecas is a jerk and he belongs in the nerve, which said, oh, we know we know this is Pam, Pam, Paul's better half. I don't think Paul would mind me saying that, Paul and Pam from New Zealand. Now, Pam, trust me we know, and we're going to do, we're going to get back into Jason as Ted Lasso, it's closer and closer to coming back to Apple TV.

I got a lot to say about this guy. I've never liked him ever. We did pull this for an earlier nerve and we didn't get to it, but you are so right to call this to our attention and we are going to show it here as I read from Pam's email. In April 2022, Olivia Wilde was on stage at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, promoting a film that

she directed. And a film that was overshadowed by her affair with her star, Harry Styles and Jason's bitterness at Olivia's cheating and listen, I doubt Jason Sudecas was an easy guy to live with. Okay, so there's no judgment here whatsoever.

Actually, there is judgment, and it's against Jason, Jason was getting prosecuted at the nerve. Welcome to the nerve, Jason, welcome to the nerve. You're not going to like it here, I can promise you that. He served her legal papers regarding custody of their small children on this stage.

As she's promoting her film, she's on stage by herself speaking to this audience and he fucks with her like that. He's a fucking asshole. He is a fucking asshole, Pam writes, Sudecas was upset the Wilde had directed a movie and that she had run off with Harry Styles, I'm sorry, in that equation who wouldn't run off

with Harry Styles, who wouldn't, Sudecas denied knowledge of the bailiff going to Wilde

on stage, really, really, how do you think that happened?

I doubt it. I fucking doubt it. Okay. Hi, Marine. Love the show, but I have a serious question, this is trouble maker, BB.

You got it. When you toss your email papers, do you really let them land just anywhere like a crazy person? My OCD is an overdrive, laugh out loud. Listen, I, as I have shared, I have OCD too, and when I was a child, it was really bad.

I do throw them anywhere, but then when we're done taping, I do clean them up. I don't, also, it's a hazard, it's a trip hazard, it's a slip hazard, you know what I'm saying? Okay, two more, this trouble maker says we can use her name, Kim Charles, I believe you're a female, I know Kim can be either, but you sound like a woman.

Had to laugh watching two days, trouble maker feedback, this is from the nerv...

So we showed a trouble maker had emailed as a photo they took, I think they were in Virginia

or Vermont, and it was of the back of a vehicle that had a let them decal in the back of the car with a small heart, the let them theory, Mel Robbins's bullshit, let them theory. This trouble maker says that she has seen a let them sticker all the way down here in Australia too, I wanted to take a photo for you, but it's illegal to touch your phone when you're driving, I love that law, I love that law.

I do think that the way that you know how they have that thing, if someone has gotten

a DUI, more than once, they like actually, or even once now, I think is the rule and

I love it.

They'll attach this breathalizer to your vehicle and your vehicle will not start until

you breathe into that breathalizer and it renders the result comes up, the zero blood alcohol content, zero. You know these companies can do this, you know Apple can do this. I wish that there was such a thing that when you enter a vehicle to drive that vehicle driver's seat, that the phone disables itself in case of true emergency, like a 911, like

a tornado is coming, that can come through, but otherwise, no, no, your ways goes on to screen up at like eye level and that's it. I wish that they would do that anyway, Australia, it's illegal to touch the phone while driving, love it. Okay, trouble maker Kim Charles also says I walked into a local book shop once and saw, let

them and the tell on the same table, keep your junk over there in the USA, please. Kim, we're trying to contain this toxic sludge. We are trying our best, okay, you know, and with the work that you've trouble makers

are doing out there, I think we've got a good shot.

Ladies and mobros, secure enough in your masculinity to cook. My father certainly was a man, a manly man who really could do real damage in many ways, who love to cook. I have to talk about a new obsession, my hex-clad pants. Now, I would send these pants and pots and skillets by hex-clad, and I've got to tell

you they are incredible. Not only that, I've heard from some troublemakers who are professional chefs, who also say they are addicted to their hex-clad pants and pots, they make cooking super easy. You can get that beautiful sear you want from stainless steel, but you also get the easy release, non-stick convenience, so whether you're making dinner for yourself, for friends,

a special date, throwing together something last minute, you know these pants can handle

it. Clean up, easy, easy, easy. They are dishwasher safe, metal utensil safe, and oven safe up to 900 degrees plus the stainless steel handles stay cool, which is a top feature for me, because I can be absent-minded and before you know it, you're looking at like a second degree burn, if you're current

cookware, is scratched, peeling, or stimulus matched collection, you've had forever.

It is time to upgrade, hex-clad has over 1 million customers, and more than 50,000 to

5 star reviews plus, every product comes with a lifetime warranty, and hex-clad is running an end of summer promotion, get cookware that's built to keep up from August 20th through September 8th, you can get up to 52% off-hex-clad, upgrade your kitchen, upgrade your life for the new fall season, just head to hex-clad.com/nerve that's H-E-X-C-L-A-D.com/nerve. After you purchase, they may ask, "Hey, how did you hear about us, please support the

nerve, let the new year travel maker, and let we send you?" We saw this in the comments section, you know it's Meghan Markle, or her minions, just our opinion, saying, "Hey, you know that portapotti that you showed on the nerve that said Markle's portapotti, a photo that was taken by a troublemaker, and sent to the nerve?"

They were like, "That's a fake." Proof it! Proof it because we've got troublemakers back in that shit-up, literally, the Markle Portapotti company, writes Jane Doe, needs to get Sussex toilet paper for their potties, "Oh my

God, okay, this one's great.

Oh, she says I can use her first name Marcella. There is an entire aisle of this shit by

what she means, Sussex toilet paper. In the Buenos Aires grocery store, called Elcoto,

the aisle of Sussex toilet paper was never ending what a business opportunity for Markle's

potties. This is amazing. Then this comes from TroubleMaker Rocco who went on next door and found all the legitimate info for Markle's pumping service along with an actual phone number that has a 905 area code and the helpful website information which is Markle's pumping service.com. Could not love you guys more. Could not love you more. We are showing this photo sent in by TroubleMaker Jordan. This photo of former three-time New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg,

suffering the presence of Shomalama Ding Dong at the next game during the NBA Finals

is literally everything. Michael Bloomberg is all of us. I'm a venture to guess Michael

Bloomberg could potentially be a TroubleMaker or converted into one. This from TroubleMaker

Mobo Brill from the Upper East Side, not Bill from Brooklyn. This is Bill from the Upper East Side who was written in before and had a very funny Caroline Kennedy anecdote. This is Bill's Andy Cohen encounter story which is very timely given what Robin I just discussed. About 15 years ago I was arriving alone at a bravo party in a downtown loft building waiting for the elevator the doors opened and there was Andy Cohen apparently on his way out.

Except he didn't get out. Instead he stood in the elevator doorway and looked to be up

and down. Then up and down again. And then one more time for good measure. The inspection went on long enough to become genuinely uncomfortable. He seemed completely absorbed in deciding whether or not he was going to hit on me. Apparently the answer was no because eventually he stepped out and went on his way. This is one of the most, it's a perfect example of how these celebrities are like out in the wild. They encounter a civilian. That behavior

is exactly dead on. And by the way, I have a similar story but it's professional in nature. But I was once at a job interview at the Conde Nast building and I was dressed appropriately for it and I was a loan in the elevator. It stopped the doors opened and I don't want to or got in the elevator. Now this is before the devil wears product and I had heard the stories that if you are in an elevator in the Conde Nast building and Anna winter exits,

you are to get out. I did not get out. And for that I was rewarded with the up and down

and up and down. And I was like, I think I look pretty decent. So it's not really hit me

where I live to start deer, more in during Madonna's recent desperate confessions to roll out. She did a six minute. I love you. Trouble maker. Okay. She did a six minute YouTube segment with Grindr two weeks ago. She is asked. This is this is so great. Trouble maker Eric Madonna is asked who she had the best sex ever with and to my surprise. She emphatically declares JFK Jr as being her most satisfying sex partner ever. This Trouble maker Eric writes is a lie,

lie, all in caps. And I remember the exact same thing you do Eric and I'm so glad you wrote in because I wasn't even sure whether it was worth bringing up. You were so right to bring this up. Now Madonna made it very clear. Trouble maker Eric writes for many years that JFK Jr was in fact the worst sex she ever had her brother Christopher Chaconie even repeated this in a 2008 Howard Stern interview. Chaconie said Madonna said that JFK Jr was like having sex

with a 10 year old by which she meant, you know, he didn't really know what he was doing in bed. And I can completely believe it because a guy who looked like that and had that name and that money, you know what I mean? It was like he didn't have to make an effort at anything. And this is the problem. He thought he was graded everything including sex. You know, you know, it was like, I'm sure this was a huge part of Carolyn's sets issue with him. Anyway, Trouble maker Eric

goes on to say, this does not make Madonna look good. This interview can also be found right on

YouTube.

Please shine a light on this bullshit. Happy to Eric. You just did it, man. You just did it.

Love you. Okay. Final. Trouble maker feedback. And we love these because these are

the best. You guys are often sending, excuse me, sending in photos, not only of your animal companions, the loves of your lives, but your human ones as well. Dear Marine, back in 2009, this is Trouble Maker L. I became a caretaker for my father-in-law. He was a New Yorker born 1935, I loved hearing his valued real talk about fake people. Together, we rescued a Pomeranian from a puppy mill who we affectionately called cookie because she was the sweetest.

We were a trio of Trouble Makers. Sadly, we lost cookie and then I lost my father-in-law. So sorry. Life Trouble Maker L writes, gave back to me in the form of my daughter, September. Trouble Maker L also included a photo of her daughter, September, along with the photo we're seeing here of her father-in-law and cookie, but we're not going to show that one. That's that's a private, you know, not for public consumption. Lisa writes, she is so special.

When I watch the nerve, my daughter is drawn, my daughter is drawn to your hair and your jewelry. And her hope is that September will become a future Trouble Maker. I consider her one already. Raising them right, my friend Annie Cohen could take a page out of your book. She included her daughter, September's kindergarten picture, and she's wearing very sweet Trouble Maker coded jewelry. PS, we both want to know about your large light

Lou Ring. It is Aquamarine and I got it on like an antique Resale site. You guys, we have so much good stuff. Number one, this subject line Matthew Perry. And this goes to our discussion with Rob on last week's nerve at night. We were debating whether it was truly fair that Matthew Perry's personal assistant was sentenced to a lengthy jail term, a lengthy prison sentence for Matthew Perry's death. And I was

arguing in Rob. It was arguing the same that when you are working for someone that famous and wealthy

and powerful, truly what they say does go. And the only person really responsible for Matthew

Perry's death from a drug overdose is Matthew Perry. Sorry, sorry. And I think that the family

saying that they were thrilled that this guy is getting put away. I think it's a misdirected rage. I think it's misdirected anger, misdirected frustration. They're angry at their son and brother who did this and they're angry at themselves because they couldn't help him. And you know, that you can't help somebody who won't be helped. Anyway, hi, Morin. I agree with your assessment of the family's anger towards the assistant. When I heard the sentence, I was surprised it was so

long. And immediately thought this was going to change things in Hollywood a lot of assistance do the bidding of their employers. Some of them are hired based on their drug connections. I hope this makes a few people take a pause in what they're actually doing. And if a prison

sentence is worth the money, you know what? I think trouble maker A that this is really a case by case

basis. I don't think every judge would send an executive assistant to prison over doing their bosses bidding. You know, trouble maker A also writes, I also love widows bay. I am I am slow. I'm slowly like absorbing each episode because I don't want this thing to end. And I know it's that season one is going to end very soon. I will be shocked if this is not already renewed. It is incredible. If you were not watching, watch it. Matthew Reese, trouble A, trouble maker A writes,

is very good in meteor roles, meteor roles where he can excel in quarkiness. You know what? That's so true. He really, you know, this guy comes at stuff sideways. He's great. trouble maker A says Matthew Reese was good in the beast within he was, but this is next level. It is. And Stephen Root

is always so good in everything. Not guy is a treasure. I hope there will be more of this quaint series.

You and me both and there's some real horror. I mean, it's just it's incredible. Okay, this trouble maker Susan, the subject line why in Virginia spotted on a car this week, who can come in

Help save Virginia.

sticker that reads, let them with a heart clearly an adherent of Mel Robbins's bullshit. Let them theory. trouble maker A says, I feel that Teddy is over committed. SOS. Regrettably Teddy is over committed as we revealed last week. He is opening a consumer protections bureau. And his first client is the troublemaker who has been trying to cancel her subscription to O Magazine and get a refund and they keep sending that fucker to her. Teddy's on the case. He just doesn't know it yet. I'm dreading

telling him he's going to demand a raise. What can I do if he deserves it? Tear more in the nerve

strikes again Bill Mar Marlana cover your ears. You might remember in an earlier nerve that you

guys outed Bill Mar's fake audience. Who could forget least of all us? When I sent you a confidential email, we love you trouble maker. You are a frequent writer. We will keep you anonymous as requested. I sent you a confidential email explaining how his audience is paid. Now, Bill Mar's opening monologue on Friday June fifths real time, which I didn't see because I was watching game two of the MBA finals. Bill Mar said that Trump had heard that Bill Mar has a fake audience and was making

fun of him and Bill Mar then disputed that assertion on his show. The nerve did it first and did it

best bill. Of course, you're never going to address the nerve. No matter how much we come at,

you're probably why. You know, you'll address someone else but not the nerve. Marlene loves you. You really should. He had the camera turned to his studio audience to insist that the studio audience is real. Are they real? Are they actual human beings? Yes. We'll get to it. The real talk about fake people over at the nerve is that Bill did not explain that those people are paid to be there. We know that they're paid Bill. We know you pay them to be there. They are

coached and coached to laugh and clap and you know how we know because that guy who they remove

for a minute after the nerve went in on Bill's paid audience. The guy who always goes like this.

Yeah, he's back. He's back. By the way, this troublemaker writes the company that provides this audience is called Standing Room Only and they also provide the fake audience of paid people for Byron Allen's comics unleashed. Of course, who is going to LA and it's like, what should we do, kids? What should we do? You know what the hottest ticket in town is? Byron Allen's comics unleashed, which replace Colbert and is highly edited to fit the laugh track,

which is actually floor-directed by Byron Allen as he hosts the show, pausing to tell the audience clap, clap, clap. I am a writer who has attended these productions, so please don't use my name.

You are anonymous, troublemaker. You are always safe with us. Hi, loved the segment with Marlena

discussing Gale on Call Her Daddy and our analysis of the relationship dynamic with Oprah. I love this observation troublemaker. It reminded me of the iconic scene, iconic from New York City, real housewives, rather of New York City. When Bethany and Ramona were walking across the Brooklyn bridge, Bethany was dating Jason or engaged Jason and Ramona brutally told Bethany,

it was true. Ramona is an odd character and I think likely personality disordered as so many

of our greatest reality stars are. But often people with a real personality disordered such as borderline, which I think Bethany probably has. One of the gifts of that is that they can see people and relationship dynamics extremely clearly. They can read people down to the bones, like the studs of the foundation. Ramona brutally told Bethany she had no friends and that Jill was only friends with her because Bethany was the underdog and that the friendship dynamic was

changing between Jill and Bethany as Bethany was becoming more successful in her career and romantic relationship. Ramona was right. She was right about everything. Everything. This trouble maker always says she sent a previous email about the preppy murder documentary and it's curious about

my take. I saw that doc years ago when it first came out and I thought I think I thought it was

pretty well done at the time. It was re-litigating that the way that was covered it was a very

Famous murder case in New York City, a guy named Robert Chambers who looked l...

out of like ambercrombian fish, you know, or L. L. being strangled a young woman named

Jennifer Levin to death after a night out drinking at an upper east side hot spot and he claimed

it was rough sex and that lie lie considered a lie got a lot of play in the New York media at the time. Could it have been? Could it have been? You know what we know now. Today

that would never fly. It would never fly but that guy is a fucking psychopath. He's dangerous

guy just my opinion. Hi Maureen. I wasn't okay. This is about we're going to get to this Joanne. Okay. This is trouble maker Joanne from Michigan. We are going to get to it. Saw this on Instagram. We covered Carson Daley drinking beer out of his shoe, which he untied unshot from his stinky foot poured beer into said stinky shoe and drank from that shoe on the air and then realizing he's still at half a bottle of beer left poured the remainder into his shoe and drank it

and then put the shoe back on because you never waste an ounce of beer. Am I right?

Uh, there is an Instagram real going around featuring this troublemaker rights accurately

cycle arsonist Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman taking part in the stupid ritual trust me. We are getting to it on a fourth coming nerve and it will be a broader segment than that dear Maureen. I watched the raffa nadal dock on Netflix and think it will make fantastic material for a future conversation with Bill from Brooklyn. Now I will say this bill from Brooklyn is not that into tennis. He loves professional sports but I this is on my list to watch because I am a

raffa fan from what raffa's willingness to embrace pain to the complex nurturing and sometimes toxic relationship with his uncle Tony this story truly has something for everyone raffa is such

a beloved humble and tenacious sportsman that his character will ultimately transcend his

legendary achievements. Thank you for the reminder troublemaker. It is on the list. Are you looking to upgrade your hair or skincare routine? Try I restore. Hi. Maureen. My wife and I love your podcast. Thanks Phil. I think you guys have written before

the headline. Mike Rabel, if I'm saying his name right or Rabel and Diana Rossini. Have you been following the football coach and sports commentator affair? Yes. Apparently this has been going on for several years. Oh, there's a lot more to this story. Phil thinks so. I think so too. Check it out. If you have a chance we have added this to our agenda for bill from Brooklyn's next appearance. We've got several things we need bill to weigh in on, explain to us, etc.

Trouble makers coming out against John Hamm. So you know the criterion closet, the criterion collection which is that like very curated collection of film of like what what is considered like cinema you know foreign and domestic art house groundbreaking independent all of it. and pick like your five movies. So John Hamm, Melanie says it's okay to use your name,

Trouble Maker Melanie went into the esteemed criterion closet. And out came as of 6 p.m. Friday at least five commentators regarding his felonious frat fuckery, Melanie love the

alliteration, love it. High culture, low culture, trouble makers are everywhere and that's what

makes trouble makers unfuck in touchable. Dear, morey, love story, love birds is the headline. I wonder how many other trouble makers caught this. I certainly did not in the final frames of love story episode nine beginning it about 54 minutes as they pan out over the ocean. There are two seabirds, almost imperceptible flying over it where these supposed to represent John and Caroline flying free. I would bet so trouble makers see that that's a great catch. It's you know

it and that's really fucked up of the filmmakers. I've said it many times before but I also want to add there's a great piece on the Daily Mail Plus. It's an interview with one of Caroline's oldest closest friends a designer she met at Calvin Klein named Gordon Henderson. Now Gordon had

some very very interesting things to say about Caroline and I think I think some of Caroline's

friends are like shipping her. You know they feel like enough time has elapsed. I want of her friends who spoke to me for ask not. Told me it took her a minute to really decide to do it. She remains an

honest but because Caroline was such a powerful presence that she feared Caroline even in death.

This is a very smart sophisticated accomplished talented bright woman but that's the kind of force the powerful personality Caroline beset had and so Gordon Henderson let Caroline he said she crashed with him but really she lived with him rent free for six months. It was very fashionable address and downtown New York and once she got with John she became the entitlement was through the roof. He came home one time to find clothes that he had bought on a trip like to Japan or something.

You know like a real shop that you had done thoughtfully all those clothes were on the floor. They had been unpacked from his expensive luggage that he had just purchased because she had needed that luggage. She was taken it on a trip to hiatus with the Kennes. Not enough you're living with the guy rent free and probably not even paying for a meal. You steal his stuff his expensive stuff while he's away. He also said that something that she and John would do to him very often

you're not going to believe this. Like these two were terrible and it's a good thing they never had kids.

They would leave their dog Friday in front of Gordon's apartment door like while Gordon was out at work for hours or whatever. Unannounced and Gordon would come home and find this poor dog who had been there for hours without food or water or anything a bathroom break just there and that was Gordon's way of knowing that John and Caroline had taken off for the weekend or however long they were gone for up on the cape you know with the Kennes and you know it's his job to watch their dog for free.

Keep lionizing these assholes keep at it. Okay dear marine, you may have seen this but here's the link so much of what passes for celebrity beauty journalism like hey do me more what are the products you use your Cindy Crawford's got like a fucking infomercial that runs over the weekends like hey it's meaningful beauty it's my special skincare line I developed with my high class expensive Beverly Hills dermatologist in every woman in America can also look like me

you can't okay not unless you have a private nutritionist a private trainer and um

a plastic surgeon on speed dial that's how Cindy Crawford looks like that I also suspect

I have no inside knowledge of such but I do suspect Cindy Crawford is also taking human growth hormone which has been very popular in Hollywood for a very long time because it retards the physical aging process but one of the side effects of HDH is if you are feminine it will make you look

Masculine and Cindy Crawford looks really masculine she she is aged in a very...
