(upbeat music) Two teas in a pod with Teddy Mellonkath and Tamara Judge. (upbeat music) Hi guys. Welcome to another episode of Two Teas in a pod

with myself, Teddy Mellonkath and Tamara Judge. Hi, Tam, you're looking all in stunning. No, I just got my hair, but it looks good. I had a pin back 'cause I had glam, my makeup done. But yeah, yeah, you're ready to go.

So we're talking all things Beverly Hills, this episode, which I have some feelings about. Which we're gonna get into. All right, the show. I love how the show starts out.

Sutton is crying and tells Amanda about how Erica and Boast used chat, GPT to drag her business. Sutton is upset about this and like crying about this. As she was when she was talking about her enrollment. - Yes, I mean, we're definitely seeing

a different side to Sutton this season.

I think she's less triggered in more trying to

be her sensitive side is coming out and I mean, first of all, the whole chat thing, it wasn't cool. Let's be honest. - It wasn't. - It wasn't cool.

I mean, because honestly, I understand they don't know what she does and stuff, but it is her livelihood. - Yeah, and I, to be honest, I haven't heard anyone really ask her questions.

Well, I think the problem is is that like,

I think it's hard to explain that you are teaching people what? What are you teaching them? - How to manifest it. But I understand exactly what she does for a living.

They did have the scene with Boz and Amanda at the beginning of the season where Amanda tried to explain her business and it came off wrong. - Yeah, but I mean, it just wasn't cool. And then she Googled herself.

I mean, obviously to get the response that she got, Boz, she had to put in bad reviews. - Yeah, right? She had to have asked for bad reviews. - Yeah, because then, but this is what I don't understand.

Amanda's appalled by this. - Like absolutely appalled. - Yeah, I believe she would do this. Then she goes on and does it in her confessional about Boz.

- I would have done the same thing. But that's like, it's so hypocritical.

No, I think she's just being like,

you're being an asshole.

Hey, you wanna do it about me?

I'm gonna, I'll do the same thing. I thought it was great that she did that. - No, she should have done it in the scene with Boz. That's where it wouldn't have been actually good TV. Anybody can say whatever they want, a confessional.

- Yeah, but I mean, I don't know. Sometimes you don't think that quick on your feet. Maybe she's kind of an entire season to think that quick. - Well, I didn't mind it at all. I thought it was shady.

I thought it was warranted. And then I thought, like, she's like her whole, oh, oh my God, she's saying what she's saying about me with her saying about her. Yeah, I mean, everybody, no matter who the person is,

there's gonna be sure anything set about you and then at some point. - Oh, of course, but I don't know.

I see multiple sides to a man to now.

I'm stopped getting to the point where she drives me absolutely nuts because I realize this is just who she's gonna portray, regardless. - Mm-hmm, this is who she is. I don't even think it's what she's trying to portray.

She is very into this manifesting stuff. I personally, I don't get it. I mean, it's good to have great thoughts and positive thoughts. She is a robot when it comes to talking about this manifestation's stuff.

I'm not into it. I don't get it, but she's making millions off of it. She's according to her, she's not doing anything wrong. - But what do we actually know about Amanda? Like, I think it was a sudden who said Amanda

sleeps and talks business. - Mm-hmm, I think that's her. That's why she's so successful

because all she does is sleep and talk business.

- Yeah, like there's no. And she's like other people left her because she's got all these people following her. But damn, there's gotta be something else you can share with us.

- Right, and I think that's what the girls are upset about.

Like, we don't know anything about you. But why do you think Sutton was almost about to cry during this moment? - I don't know why Sutton was so upset about it. Like, it's...

- Yeah, she doesn't think to do it. - I know, it's a shitty thing to do. I don't know why it got hurt. She said it was me and girl behavior. I don't know why she got that invested in it.

I think she's not that close to her. - She's not that close to her. Yeah, she did say something when they were in the limo, that was true. But I think it's more that she has to be the carrier pigeon.

- Yeah. - Yeah, so I think whenever she has to do that and now that she's, you know, she has a healthier lifestyle, it's a lot harder to be an asshole.

- Mm-hmm, I like the turnaround with Sutton this season. - Yeah, but then she's, here's the, this is the problem with this season. Who's doing stuff? - Kyle Dury.

- Kyle and Dury, that's it.

- Yeah, I think that we have three girls on the show

that are very, I don't know, comical, I guess. Like, I'm talking about Kathy Houghton and Jennifer Tilly. They don't really, they're not full-time housewives. So they don't really share their personal life,

but they're funny. And then we have Rachel Zoe, who we're just getting to know, she doesn't get too involved in the drama. She doesn't really create drama, but I do enjoy watching what she brings

and her life's going through divorce things. She's gonna have to do more next season. - But she's gonna have to have some opinions. - Yeah, she has a few, but she's not, she's not one that's overly opinion

unless it comes to her style. But she, like, went over the top, we'll get to that. - Yeah. - But during breakfast, Kyle explains to Eric and Kathy why she said Natalie was a liar.

Okay, I don't know why this is so confusing to everyone. They've explained this poorly. - Yes, they walk up by a mass place. Natalie says, "Who would the Pinocchio mask be? "Bows under her breath, goes a manna."

- Amanda. - Amanda. - And they all laugh. But like, this isn't brain surgery here. It's not that hard to remember.

- I mean, Natalie did not deny it. She didn't deny it. She put it was bows that said, "I'm Amanda." - Right, but bows that saying she didn't say it. - Well, she did.

We saw the flashback. - I know. - So, yes, we did. But I do.

- I think it was off the cuff kind of like,

it was like, "I don't think she really thought of it." It wasn't like it was a big thing that they were like, "Who's the liar?" And bows was like, "Oh, it's a manna." Like, it was just, they're walking down the street.

- It was a joke.

It was a, it was a poor joke. - It was a bad joke. - It was a bad joke.

- But I just love that sitting there with Kathy and Kyle and Erica

and Kathy, they're talking about Doreate and her being late and she throws in Kathy's style. Well, Jaja Gabor was late all the time. - Well, also, I have to do anything. - And Erica, giving Xero, then her robe and sunglasses,

barely able to even whisper for the conversation. It's like so good. - But also, if you know Kathy, that I love watching this scene because the Kathy does these things

that like, makey laugh because at that first,

I didn't know she was joking. Like, you know when she's like, "We're going into town for an hour. "You know how I love to do that." Like, she's totally making fun of what they're doing.

- Oh, yeah, I don't know her face that she's in there, but I don't know anything about that. - Yeah, she's like, you know how shopping for one hour and driving an hour to get there is my favorite thing to do. - No.

- That's the Snarky Kathy. - Yeah, so she sticks it in there and like little hidden gymstones that like I like. And then, before they stomp graves, Amanda confronts Bo's and her about her business.

Bo's says instead of being on the defense, Amanda needs to explain her business. - The funny thing is, if somebody said that to Bo's, she would tell them to fall the way off, but like Amanda, this is where we need you to pull out

your phone and chat GPT and Bo's in the scene and not in the confessional. Like, this is the moment, this is your moment.

- Oh, I think it's also, I think her moment

to explain what she does and the problem is is that she's always

on the defense because she feels like everybody's coming for her and I understand that because it's like, if somebody's coming after your all-in or whatever, I mean, people were my first year and they're like, you're in accountability coach.

Remember how much fun I got made of of that? - The truth of the matter is, on Instagram, there's so many people that are doing businesses that are like, I'm gonna help you. I'm gonna help you be the best real estate agent.

I'm gonna help you flip houses. I'm gonna help you manifest that money in 99% of it is a scam. Yeah, it's a scam. So, unfortunately, she's kind of put in that box

without people really knowing and if she's always defensive and not explaining what her business is, then it just doesn't fly with the girls. - Well, and then after being called out sudden, explains her intention of telling Amanda what happened

is because she went through something similar when she joined the show. And then I wanted to know what that was. - Well, I thought that she said, like, she opened up a business and everybody was supportive of her.

- She did, she opened, we all went to the sudden opening. - So, what similar, what did I miss something?

- The only thing I can remember is something

that Sutton was involved in. So, remember when Rina had that event for her daughters, it was like, I can't remember if it was like clothing brand or whatever it was, but Rina had an event. And then Sutton made a snarky comment about the event.

And Rina lost it on Sutton. And we were all like, it was like, I think it might have been one of the times Denise was, you know, Bravo, bravo, bravoing because Denise got involved too.

And then there was like yelling and we're all in the hall. But like, that's the only thing I can think of because other than that, everybody supported Sutton's businesses. - Yeah, she even said herself. Like, the girl supported her.

But I think Sutton doesn't really know where to go this year. I think Sutton's just being calm. I think that she got a lot of shit. Maybe last season and she wanted to switch things up. And she's just a different person.

So it's just hard to, like, - She's a different person and, you know, without Garcel, she doesn't have the built-in backup person. - Right. - Right.

- And it's just showing a different side. ♪ Girl, girl, girl, girl, girl, girl, girl ♪ - I'm Bailey Taylor and this is "I Girl." You may know me from my "I Girl" series I've done on the streets of New York over the years.

- From iHeart Podcasts and best case studios. This is Worshack, murder at City Hall. - But this happened in City Hall. Somebody tell me that.

- July 2003, Councilman James E. Davis

arrives at New York City Hall with a guest. Both men are carrying concealed weapons. And in less than 30 minutes, both of them will be dead. - Have everybody in the chambers of dogs, a shocking public murder.

- A scream, get down, get down those shots. - A charismatic politician. - You know, he just bent the rules all the time. I still have a weapon. And I could shoot you.

- That's right, it's an aridine too much drama week on the okay story-time podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, "I just inherited a fortune after losing my mom, and now my girlfriends "and entire family is coming out of nowhere with their hands up.

"One sibling wants me to fund their whole lifestyle. "Another vanished for four years, and suddenly reappeared, "and my girlfriend is already giving my money away." - Hold on, Sophia. So the girl he wants to marry

is already sending money out the door. - And that's just the beginning. He makes a plan, sets up a trust,

and finally thinks he has everything under control.

- Okay, so things work out then? - Let's just say the people he trusted the most are the ones who ended up shocking him the most. - To just the money end up being worth going through all that. - To find out, listen to the okay story-time podcast

on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. (upbeat music) - And then they're waiting for Doreet to get ready. Kyle and Erica, and you know,

their cows getting all MP about it. So Erica, there must have been a thousand degrees where they were. - When were they there? What month were they there?

- I don't know, but they're there. That like from the grape stomping to this, there are all sweet things. - They get hot, it gets so hot in Italy and muggy. - Yeah, so they're on a walk through the neighborhood

and then Erica cuts the tension between Doreet and Kyle by calling it out. Doreet is pissed that Kyle had conversations about Doreet being erratic with other people instead of her.

And then Doreet says, "Here's the thing Kyle,

"I trust both and I don't trust you." - I mean, even Doreet- - A lot of animals like you crossed a boundary here. - Well, I mean, she's speaking the truth. She's just trying to get under Kyle's last nerve.

Obviously, whatever's going on between her and Kyle, it's not good. It's not good. - And it's been going on for years. - Right, right.

I mean, safe to say that Doreet doesn't like Kyle. - It's safe to say that, but also, I still think Kyle is trying to break through Doreet, like giving her the information and like trying. And then, but then she got so mad at Erica.

Erica hadn't even barely said anything. - Now, Erica was actually trying to make things better. She's like, "Okay, guys, this is awkward, "but you know, I need to move on or whatever she said." - Well, Doreet says that Kyle has a tough time showing

her support, Erica chimes in, which Doreet quickly shuts down and Erica isn't having it. So Doreet gets in the sprinter and leaves them. - Yep.

- But like in my opinion, Doreet left

Because Kyle said she never asks about mode,

not because Kyle said she was worried about her. - I don't know why she left, but the whole thing is, I mean, so she left and they're like, "Oh, she took the car." Okay, and then they're like, "How do we get home?"

And then they start walking, I go, "I would have loved to sing like a timestamp of our one." - Right. - And we're too, they're holding their shoes, walking through the countryside and Italy,

like I would have loved to sing that. But they got into a cab and are very good friend, I'm sure Sally Ann King, was there filming from the front seat, 'cause you have no cameras in there.

How are you filming? - Yeah, there's no, I mean, by that. Also, why didn't they film Doreet in the car? I know, I was wondering why they didn't film her.

- Because if she's always on the phone,

she's always doing these things, show us her doing those things. - Yeah, I liked when they showed, when they said, you know, she is erratic in ways when she's like always looking for stuff in her person,

but then they showed us the multiple times. She went in her bag and put on lip gloss and then looked at that and, like, give it to us. It's all in cameras, so why not show us? Don't show us the boring show, show us the good chat.

- Right, I think most of this is an issue

about her timing and how just respectful it is. - It is, it is. - Is everyone there want to show? But I think that what they're not saying is they're not breaking the fourth wall. Like those girls had to stay up until 5 a.m.

the night that Doree was laid to the one dinner. - They had to stay up until 5 a.m. - Yeah, like they had to wait so long, like they didn't even serve dinner in child three, 30 in the morning.

- Really? - Yeah, I wouldn't wait for that. Is somebody wants to be late and I agree with Rachel's, though, where it's just disrespectful. It's like your time is more important

than everybody else's time.

And that's always a problem on these housewife shows.

There's always one that's always late and it's annoying to everybody. - Yeah, but I think that's what it is. They're on a cast trip, which you don't get to sleep anyway. And then you're all sitting around waiting

for someone to film with. - Yeah. - And then they get there and then they leave. - No, it's very unprofessional and read. - Yeah, yeah.

- So I think that's really where some of this anger

is stemming from, especially when it comes to Erica. - Yeah, it pisses up production too. - Yeah. - I mean, 'cause Erica is like, Erica gets glamdened and does all of these things

before, but she still manages to get there on time. - Yeah, I can go on and on about those, but I'm not going to. - Yeah. - But then we're back at the Villa Kyle and Erica.

I feel everybody in on what went on with Doree, and then Rachel and those don't enjoy the Kyle dragging them into it. - What are your thoughts on it? - I agree with that.

- I agree with that. If you say somebody's saying to you, well, Doree, you did this and then you go, well, everybody, everybody is talking about it. Well, everybody else isn't bringing it up, but you.

So you can only be responsible for yourself. So if you brought it up, you are solely responsible for what you said. You cannot drag other people into it. You cannot.

- This is where I also wonder if they're stuff we're not seeing, because was there a moment where Rachel actually really got upset about this or was there a moment that those actually? - It's probably off camera.

It's Holly off camera. They're all sidebarring and saying like this is annoying, she's doing this, she's doing that, she's erratic, she's all these things, probably. But the thing is, is like, okay, if you say it off camera,

that you don't want it on camera, clearly. So if you're the one that's bringing it up on camera, you're making a big deal out of it, and you gotta take ownership for that. - Yeah.

- You can't drag other people into what you're saying, but Rachel wasn't gonna have that Rachel stepped in and was like, not just so we're all clear, I didn't say I was worried. I just said, you know, maybe this is who you are.

Like, it would make me crazy if somebody was late all the time. I would hate it, but it's not how I live my life. - But right, I, that's one of my biggest pet peeves. People that are late and make you wait it is annoying, it's just disrespectful.

Like, to me, on time is like 10 minutes before. And it's also shows, I think, I'm better than you, which I think on a show like that. - It's entirely, it's like when the women, like, one of them wants to walk down,

like, leave the plane first every single time.

So they're always gonna be the one that gets the best shot.

- Like, there, there are housewives that do that. So it's a very similar thing. Like, you can't be like, that bugs me that you do this every time. Or the person that always has to sit on the right side

of the camera because that's their better side.

And so you have to like move things around all the time.

It's like, people become more high maintenance the longer that they're on the show.

- Unless you're me.

- Yeah. (laughs) - Here are some words to say, let's do this. - Can we go, let's go, good to work. - Yeah. - But then on the way to dinner,

Rachel tells Drey that her friendship with Kyle Sachs. She doesn't understand having a friend that you can't trust. - I do wish that we got a bit more of this Rachel in the group settings because it's, we're getting it more in the professionals.

- Yeah, yeah. - Yeah, I think like, you know,

I think she's doing good for her first season.

It's not easy to just say things out right to somebody's face in these situations. - But she does step in and like he does. - He does. - Yeah, I think like reunion I think you're gonna see,

I think she's gonna step up a little bit more and be more vocal. - But she all, what I also was thinking about is the show she was on before was all about her.

So I think this first year,

she's not wanting to ruffle the feathers with the other women. - No, and she doesn't want to stop on three breaks either. - Yeah. - And her $10,000 dress. - Did you notice that she had a bandaid on her toe?

And I didn't notice. - I'm hoping I saw it wrong. - Oh my God. Well, those weirds that they were stepped in the dirt and stepped in the grapes, I'm like, wait,

is this just, this is clearly just for fun? - That you can't be using those. - They cannot be using those. But the fact that, and they're all in expensive dresses, I'm like, oh my God, yes, it's going to stain.

- The only one that was smartly dressed for that was Amanda. She was in like a little short suit. - Yeah. - Yeah, she would like shorts and whatever it was. - Yeah.

- And everybody else looked like who knows, both thought they were going to the pool party again. (upbeat music) - I'm Bailey Taylor, and this is It Girl. You may know me from my It Girl series,

- To camp your pan, yeah.

So it's like, I think that through off Doreed as well.

Like Doreed's like, I can't believe I don't have Erica, right now. - Well, she has bobs. - She has bobs and bobs is has it for everybody else. - Mm-hmm.

- She has, I don't know, she has it on. She's like Kyle, she doesn't like Kyle. She doesn't like Amanda.

I've never seen bobs speak to sudden.

- Good question. - They don't, there's not much interaction between the two of them. - Like there's very little bobs one on one. Like we saw bobs at one side. - We did get a new bobs interview look.

- Yeah, we did. - Kyle's been in the same outfit. I feel like all season long. - She only have one look. - No, she had three.

So I don't know why they keep showing her only and the one with the suit and tie. She must have been an extra wrapped up that day. - It's like the same outfit every single day and I'm like, wait, I know she's done

more looks but it's they always use that one. She must have been on a good one when she got it. - Yeah, she got a good cover for that day. - Yeah. But then watching them even order,

as I'm sorry, bugged me even watching to read order.

- Because she has to speak in Italian, is that why?

- Yeah, and has to just be so to read about it and then Jennifer Tilly like massacres that tie in language. - Is she ordering spaghetti parmesan? - Yeah, but then spaghetti, lasagna.

- She seems like she ordered a lot of food too. - I know. - Well, 'cause she ordered an appetizer. - I love how they're all like, at the point, as if the person is not gonna be like,

Rachel's like, can I have a white wine and like, points at her intake? - Because she probably couldn't, oh, I thought you meant from the menu 'cause I mean, she probably couldn't pronounce it.

No, like, it's my bad glass. White wine. Wine? White. How do you say white in Italian?

- Duryt, make sure he knows I need a white wine for this conversation. - And then Duryt's like, red wine, please. - Then Kyle brings up how awkward it is with Duryt. Which is awkward.

And Erica's kind of near-dury in the sitting schedule, seating arrangements, but like, Kyle's nowhere near-dury. She's like, oh, she's on the end. But it's like, they're sitting there.

There's nothing going on. They're having little conversations. And then Kyle's just finally, can we just get to the point? - This is our, I'm thinking in her head,

as a cast member, this is our last night. Gotta have some, like, gotta get this conversation out. And she's like, can I say something? Yes, Kyle, say it. - Yeah.

So Duryt stands on her opinion. That she left Kyle and Erica behind, because it's deflective and aggressive. - Whatever. I don't think that anything was aggressive.

- I never yelling at her.

- No.

- At the gelato.

- It wasn't anything no big deal, honestly.

And then she's like, well, let's go.

And then I think what Pistroff was when,

she was like, let's go girls. - And Erica goes, I'm not going. - Yeah. - And I'm not talking. - Yeah, and that's what Pistroff

is more than anything. But then who, just thinks you can leave your other cast member, just like that shows, I mean, she will have lost her shit if it was her first. - Oh, I know.

- I mean, stuck out there by herself. - Mm-hmm. - Yeah. Then after Kyle brings Bo's and Rachel into the combo, Rachel says she said it all to Duryt and Bo's things.

Kyle is trying to garner support for her opinions. But I remember remembering that call between Bo's and Kyle,

where Bo's called Kyle and they are talking about it.

And we don't really see anything that Bo says. So that clearly, this is meant to happen. We're meant to see Kyle showing this way. And we're not seeing any of the other women do it. Because what else, if we didn't have Amanda

and we didn't have Kyle and Eric, I'm Kyle and Duryt fighting, what do we have? - So, there's not a lot of fighting on the show this season. There's not, I mean, it's just... - I don't mean even just fighting.

There's not a lot of fun.

Like you have to have one that you have to have one of the apps.

- Yeah. - Fighting or fun. - I think that I don't know. I mean, you can't get it right every season. - Yeah. - You just can't. But it's one, one person's the only one pulling their weight.

It's, I think it's frustrating. - Mm-hmm. - Um, and then Kyle tells Duryt that she doesn't care if she bought a... You get it, you get this reference.

I don't care that you bought a Kelly with her advancement. - I do. I do, because if you're not smart enough to know that you can't make your house payment, but you can buy a $20,000 bag,

there's something wrong with your brain. - Kyle tells Duryt that she doesn't care if she bought a Kelly with her advancement, both as the one who actually cared. And then he else to Duryt. - Quit riding my house. - Right, yeah.

- So, is that how the trip ends? Like, are they done as next week? - No, I think, I think we see the rest of the dinner. I think it's a two-be to turn. - Oh, I thought it was their last...

- No, I don't think we've gotten to the worst of it. - Have any more episodes that they have? I felt a lot. We're only on episode... - No, they don't have a lot.

- We're only on episode 15. - Yeah, they only have 17. - Oh, so we probably have two or three. - Yeah, probably two more than the reunion. But, I mean, it's crazy that nothing's really happened.

But this should be a reminder to you, mainly for when you're on the most size of an orange county.

If you're not fighting it, you should be having fun.

Because if not, it's a really, it makes it a little snoozing. - Don't we not want to see so much fighting anymore and having more fun? - Yeah, but we have to ban you to see like they are having fun.

They're complaining about going on the grapes. They're complaining about the bike ride. - Well, hopefully they'll end the season with having some fun. - I'm sure they will not.

- It just really looks like it. - Can we talk about how next week will be the last time we see Natalie? Because Natalie is not a three-unit. - Yeah, Natalie just didn't say much.

- And when she did say, things have flopped. And know who does keep their word. - Who? - Jennifer Telly. - Why, what do you mean?

Because remember when she first got to the castle

like I'm just calling it a castle, she said I'm gonna need to take some nude photos in the pool. - Did she? - Yes, you didn't see her taking nude photos.

- Oh, like one morning she got up, she's got a glass of champagne. Like they don't, we don't see anybody else. She's out there like jumping doing this. - I love her.

- I love her. I love her. But did you notice that her and Sutton haven't seem to be chatting that much. - No, it seems like argument.

- Yeah, they're not as close. - Yeah, I think now that. I feel like Sutton's putting all her eggs in Amanda's and manifestation bag. - I don't think so.

I think Sutton is actually upset with Jennifer Telly. - Probably. - Because remember when Jennifer Telly was talking about her when they were at Sonoma or wherever, and then she kind of just backed right like

when Sutton called her out on it and she just kind of, "Ah, about it." - Yeah, I think Sutton still pissed about that. - 'Cause normally we at least see them laughing and chatting and talking together,

There hasn't been any of that.

- Mm-hmm, you're right.

- Jennifer's kind of just went on their own.

- Yeah.

- But yeah, I think next week is the blow up week.

- So there's a big blow up coming. - I think so. - Okay, good, can't wait. - All right, well, have fun. - I will.

- Bye. - Bye. (upbeat music)
