is where culture meets the soul. Honest conversations about identity, loss, purpose, peace, faith, and everything in between. Celebrities, thinkers, everyday people,
some have answers. Most are still figuring it out. And if you've ever felt like there has to be more to the story, this show is for you. Listen to, if you can hear me.

we unpack the story of an unimaginable tragedy that gripped the UK in 2023. But what if we didn't get the whole story? "I just been made to fix." The moment you look at the whole picture of the case,
"Collapse." What if the truth was disguised by a story we chose to believe?
“Oh my God, I think she might be innocent.”

because my dear co-host Edwin was too busy. Busy, busy, busy guy. But I got good news. We have a great guest today. His name is Adam Neely.
And he is Resis Husband from the Valley Purge and Style. And I say it that way, because I feel your pain at him. Every time somebody sees me, he's like, "Hey, you're terrible as Husband." Yeah, I have a name.
I have a name. It's Eddie Judge, okay? And Adam, you have a name. I do, and it's not Resis Husband. So, this is the first season of the Valley.
But you and Resis have been on Proble Family before on a show called Shaws of Sunset.
“I do remember watching a little bit of that show.”
In fact, let me start by welcoming you to the Eds podcast. Thanks, Eddie. So, yeah, a little bit about the Shaws of Sunset. When it came out, my wife was watching it. And, you know, like, just like the housewives,
I get a little glimpse here, a little glimpse there. And she kind of tells me what's going on. Now that she has her own podcast, I get to hear about every single housewife show. Are you going to only imagine?
But I remember a Shaws of Sunset being a big deal. Being a lot of fun. And, of course, Resis was a big personality on there. And my wife was star-stroke.
I've never seen her ever star-stroke the very first time.
We actually crossed paths that had probably been. And she lost her, when she saw Resis. All right. What is going on here? Resis got that effect on people.
He's just like draws people in. He's very charismatic. And obviously, that's one of the many reasons why I married him. Yeah. Yeah.
Well, we'll get plenty of time to talk about him. But first, let's talk about you. I want to get to know who Adam nearly is. Tell us about you. Where'd you grow up?
I grew up in Oklahoma. Oh, wow. But actually, my father worked for the government. So I kind of traveled all over the US. Oh, cool.
But anyone asked me where I grew up. I would say Oklahoma. Since that's where my parents still live. And I spent the majority of my time there. Okay.
And then I said, "Do you go back?" Never. Okay. Okay. Go back there.
And it's like there's a lot of brick qualities. But I go back there and I feel like, "What am I going to do?"
Because I'm used to always like being on the go and having something to do.
It's like my parents say they live in the country. Okay. And so there's not a whole lot happening in the country unless you want to go,
Like, stir up some cattle or something.
Uh, make sense. I did see a clip. I don't know if it was on your Instagram or on TV. But you guys have a garden in your backyard. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That's where the garden came from. I love it.
I love it. I go as it's so envy as watching. You had all kinds of different fruits back there. That is awesome. A lot of it was actually Persian inspired.
Because, um, he's like, He's very particular about what he eats. I'm particular about what I eat. And so I really got into, on this season with Valley, you get to see me get into, like, fermenting and pickling.
And, um, just a bunch of, like, fun garden stuff. Are you on a particular diet, like, are you a vegan vegetarian, pescatarian? I'm vegan starting to lean towards pescatarian. Okay.
Which is another reason why I wanted to grow my own veggies. Yeah. How long have you been a vegan?
Um, my God, since 2020, like, right before the first shutdown.
Yeah. I got really sick and it did something to me. And so anytime I eat anything animal product related, minus fish, I just get really sick. So that's interesting.
Because the same thing has been happening to my wife ever since, you know, COVID. Um, she has every time I make a steak or any animal protein, she kind of, like, doesn't enjoy it anymore. I don't get, I don't understand why. Yeah, but I don't understand.
I mean, I wish I was a doctor and I knew why, but, um, no, I love being vegans, like, the benefits, like, you, you look more, you look younger, you're, you're following.
“And everyone's like, how do I, are you sure you're in your 40s?”
Cause you look like you're in your 30s. And you're using, and the, and the resurrect is a little sassy. People say that. Well, like, I gotta tell you, um, I've been healthy most of my life.
I haven't been perfect, but I always contribute my,
my eating habits and my workout habits to stay and feeling young. Now I'm in my early 50s and I'm starting to get these weird pains that I'd never had before that everybody told me about. Like, where the hell did that pain come from, you know? It's usually relating to a bruise or a crash I had on my bike.
It has a, a purpose, right, or a reason. Now they just come out of nowhere. I'm like, why does my shoulder hurt? Do stem cells, GG9, we just got back from Colombia. Um, or in the local stem cells.
And I feel like five or ten years younger. Really? You know, I feel amazing. Like it's, uh, we went for in the local stem cells. And though these types of stem cells are universal.
So anybody can, can take them. Awesome. And it's, wow, night and day. My knees don't crack. My brain fog is gone.
Oh, it's, wow. How, uh, two questions.
One, how, how much are they and how, uh, second question.
How often do you have to do it? Um, one should be enough.
“But if you want to go back for a tune up, uh, like every few years if you want.”
Oh, wow. It's not cheap, but it's cheaper in Colombia than it is in the States. Oh, yeah. Everything is cheaper outside of the United States. Yeah.
But it's totally worth it. Um, I got to try that. That's interesting. But look up the human wellness center. They're amazing.
They. Wow. I'm just going to say wow. Yeah. So let's see.
You eat healthy. You're vegan trying to be pescatarian. Do you work out regularly? I do. I do.
Did you do? I do regular workout training. I do yoga, resume, yoga, together all the time. Yeah. Awesome.
And one of the reasons why I try to say active is because I'm also an editor. And that's one thing that people don't know about me is that I'm a TV and film editor. People think I just love this lavish lifestyle because runs a pace for it. But I can show you two. Yeah.
That's that's a common number of, you know, just people assume. I can't tell you how many times people. Oh, I'm just a boy toy.
“And of course, it doesn't help when my wife, you know, we go to, I think it was, that's”
the other thing we got in common. We both got married on TV. When we did the bachelor party, she decided, I wasn't really good shape at the time. She decided it was a good idea to get these swims shorts. And tack a boy toy on the back of it and go to Vegas for our, you know, bachelor,
bachelor at party and put chains on me and like, yeah, okay, that's going to go really well with the audience. Yeah. Yeah. It's fun. Did you ever get hate, hate DMs like you're such a gold digging.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, I can't tell you how many different varieties.
The beautiful thing is that I discovered a blocking systems a long time ago. And there was a short period where I decided, okay, maybe I shouldn't block because I read something that it's better to have more followers. But then I then it changed to, it's all about engagement. So I went and blocked all those heads. Any bad comments out.
Anything bad about my wife out. Anything bad about the show out. Same. I, I'm like, why are people hating on me just because I'm on a TV show. Yeah. Yeah.
So you do have a background in production.
“Is that why you moved to LA to be a producer or to be in the, in the Hollywood scene?”
Honestly, I didn't know what I wanted to do. It was like, either I was going to stay in Oklahoma and work on a farm or do something related to it or move out to LA and I lived out here for six months before my parents found out I moved up here. You just ran away. What you do?
Well, it actually worked out very poetically. So the day I moved here, they were moving to Georgia. Oh. And so my parents thought that I was still in Oklahoma. And they were like, oh, hey, your dad's friend is about to go out to California for a week.
He wants to stop buying and look at your car to make sure it's running okay. And I'm like, well, you can just tone stop by my new place. And she was very confused. Didn't understand it. And then I was like, I moved to move to LA.
While your parents are away. So this was 21 years ago. Yeah, I was a baby. That's funny. So let me take a few steps back.
Because I really like to get to know the real person about you growing up. What was your childhood like were you in a farm? No, I just grew up in the countryside. Like, you don't have a farm per se, but we had a few acres, a lot of dogs. No fun.
That was it.
“And so like the closest neighbor was like miles down the street.”
So which is great. But no, I like my high school was very country. I graduated with that low over 100 people. Which is something. Yeah.
I'm the youngest of three boys. Both my brothers went to a different high school where they graduated. And with like two or three thousand people. And are you the oldest? I'm the youngest.
Oh, you're the youngest. So I'm the youngest. So you went to the local school. Okay. Yeah.
I went to the local school. They finished at the high school in the town. We moved away from. Okay. And yeah.
And that's it. I pretty much just grew up in Oklahoma. Just doing country stuff. So how did you in resume? We met at the gym.
He wore to be here and tell you the story. It'd be a little different. Yeah. He's on the treadmill. And he's doing his cardio.
And he's. And I just saw him and I had recently saw him in a picture. And this was before shots. So before shots, it was everything. He and I were already hanging out.
Okay. And so he. He's in a friend's picture from gay pride. And I'm like, oh, you know, my friend's so-and-so. And he's like, who?
And so I pulled the picture. He's like, oh, that's not my friend. And so from that moment forward,
I was always trying to chat with them.
Because for me, it's like the anger. Looking you are the more of a challenge.
“I think you're going to be in the more I'm into it.”
So. And so Razor was just very angry looking. And I just thought I was a challenge. And so I just went for it. So did you feel any chemistry or what was it that attracted you to?
Dude, I always feel chemistry with everyone. So. So with Razor. The thing that attracted to me besides his angry demeanor was. I don't know.
I don't know. Like his style, his sense of humor. He was woody. We had a lot of similar, not some. We had a lot of friends in common. And next thing I knew is like we had our first date.
And we went to. He took me to my first vegan restaurant. No. And he was vegan. He used to be vegan.
Okay. And then. And then we went and solved screen. One of the screen movies. And it was it was great.
It was like it was just very nice.
That was your first date.
Now the screen was our second date. But the first date was vegan restaurant. And so. Yeah. Is he still vegan?
No. He's mostly vegan because I'm vegan. Yeah. He'll easily eat some chicken. Okay.
Yeah.
Oh, good.
Good. That's great. And you guys.
So you guys been together.
How long 15 years? Oh, 16 years. Okay. 16 years. This April.
Because like we started hanging out before. Shaws was even started. Like right before. Shaws filmed their sizzle real. Yeah.
We were already hanging out. We were already like. I was already meeting Stanley. And then season two of Shaws comes around. And it's like, hey, we either need to be serious.
And you come onto the show with me. Or I got to look at other avenues. And I was like, what? And so here we are today. So obviously, I made a good decision.
And we've been married for about 10 and a half years now. Nice. Been through a lot. We've had several properties together. We've got five pets together.
We've. We have a whole life. Yeah. Oh, I also saw a clip of you guys talking about kids. It's another thing we haven't common my wife and I.
We don't have any kids together. She's got four wonderful kids. And you know, I love being of stepdad.
“But I remember you saying, like, I don't think I can handle dealing with a kid all day long.”
Well, yeah. Okay. Which is true. And I think God. The sort of lining to the pandemic was we got to spend a lot of quality time together.
Yeah. And it was at that moment that I realized, well, we had a kid. We had a kid like give all of our attention to be on this kid. Yeah. And I love our quality time together.
I love our quiet time together. And I just think we'd be living a different life if the kid was somewhere in the mix. Yeah. Yeah. Like I totally would have a kid today.
But I just don't think it'd be hard for me to work the kid into my life. Because we have a busy life. Yeah. No. I agree.
Do you spend a lot of time together?
Are you guys always a part working?
Um, we spend a lot of time together. But he also goes out of time a lot for different promotional things. Yeah. In New York for Andy. So we do have some downtime away from one another.
Which is great. Yeah.
“At the same time, I'm like, man, what am I going to do now?”
Like, does this normally make go to? Yeah. Um, it's like in the evenings, we enjoy watching those, those dating shows. Um, Netflix is a huge fanatic. Yeah.
And I just make fun of these people. Like, how do you fall in love after knowing them for two days? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
There's there's some about reality TV that if you understand it, you understand it. I don't. I don't. Because I also come from the scripted world where I know how a character is supposed to react and move. Yeah.
But it's hard to watch a reality show and be like, this doesn't make sense. Because in my world, I know how people are supposed to be. And this world is like, wow. Just. Yeah.
It's unpredictable. But, you know, our producers, I agree with you 100%. But our producers really know how to create magic. I don't know.
“I think sometimes I'm really like surprised.”
And sometimes I see, you know, then doing some, like, you totally missed the ball guys. It was such a good scene and you didn't show it. But, you know, it's, it's a hard job as you know editing. It's, it takes a long time to edit. I edit videos for my, you know, adventures and stuff like that.
So that's where I get the experience of dealing with, you know, big files taken forever to just create one short clip. And so I wouldn't want that job. I will say it's a great and rewarding job because, like, I'll get to go to the Golden Globes or some other prestigious award ceremony.
Oh, I get to see episodes that people want to see and they want to know what's going to happen. And I already know what's going to happen.
And I'm like the first person who gets to see it for the director.
Yeah. And it's just like, wow, like the, the opportunity is like at the hat because of my real job. It's, it's amazing. That's Ed actually sounds really cool. I was like, it's like, I worked on, uh, doomed the TV series.
I was like, I already knew everything that was going to happen. And you're seeing these big billboards and you're reading all these posts. And it's like, I think I have a theory that this is going to happen. And this is going to happen. And I'm like, nope.
Okay. And I find that so fascinating and very, just puts a big smile on my face. Because I get to create stuff that a lot of people are going to watch. What do you do in the headlines?
Don't explain what's happening inside of you.
I'm Ben Higgins.
“And if you've been here, me is where culture meets the soul.”
A place for real conversation.
Each episode, I sit down with people from all walks of life. Celebrities, thinkers and everyday folks. And we go deeper than the polished story. We talk about what drives us, what shapes us. What gives us hope.
We get honest about the big stuff. Identity when you don't recognize yourself any more loss. That changes you purpose when success isn't enough. Peace when your mind won't slow down. Faith when it's complicated.
Some guests have answers. Most are still figuring it out. If you've ever felt like there has to be more to the story, this show is for you.

China's Ministry of State Security is one of the most mysterious and powerful
spy agencies in the world. But in 2017, the FBI got inside. This is a special agent, regal, a special agent, Bradley Hall. This MSS officer has no idea the US government is on to him. But the FBI has his chats, texts, emails, even his personal diary.
Here how they got it on the 6th Bureau podcast. I now have several terabytes of an MSS officer, no doubt, no question of his life. And that's the unicorn. No one had ever seen anything like that. It was unbelievable.
This is a story of the inner workings of the MSS and how one man's ambition and mistakes opened its vault of secrets. Listen to the 6th Bureau and the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, wherever you get your podcasts. In 2023, a story gripped the UK of looking horror and disbelief.
The nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is now the most prolific child killer in modern British history. Everyone thought they knew how it ended. A verdict, a villain, a nurse named Lucy Leppi. Lucy Leppi has been found guilty.
But what if we didn't get the false story? A moment you look at the whole picture of the case collection. I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, we follow the evidence in here from the people that lived it. To ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Leppi was.
No voicing of any skepticism are doubt. It'll cause so much harm at every single level of the British establishment of this is wrong. “How do you guys handle being on a reality TV together?”
I'm sure Scott is up to downs and I think you just touched on it a little bit that negative feedback from social media people. Overall, how do you handle your reality TV relationship? What happens on TV stays on TV? One thing that I really learned was to avoid conflict.
We need to do daily check-ins. At the end of every day, we're like, how is your day? Is there anything I can help you with? Do you have any issues or thoughts you want to talk about? Our relationship has gone through the roof.
It's like the next level because of these check-ins. It's so small and minor, but it's like a weight of deflate or let the hot air out of the balloon before it explodes. You kind of get ahead of the problem.
It's been very beneficial.
There's been a number of times where Tamara comes home from filming
“and she's stressed out or something happened.”
Or there was a fight. I typically absorb all that energy and sometimes she takes it out on me. Does that happen to you? I'll do all the time. Before we start during the check-ins,
it always bring his work home.
I always pick up on that energy. The energy is directed towards me. No, it's not supposed to be. I'm just like, whoa, what was that? Do I need to break up with you?
Do we need to divorce? Yeah. Early on, after we got married, the divorce card was thrown around a lot. It wasn't until we learned how to communicate
and learn to leave work at the door that we finally learned how to talk to one another and handle all these small issues that nothing to do with the other. Yeah?
I like that concept.
Just check it in at the end of the day, every day.
It's up there would say, I love you on a daily basis, whether they know it or not.
“And whether you're mad or not, you just say it because it's true, right?”
Now, talking about it, it's wanting to talk about it. It's another thing to really show your love, right? I understand Reza is the one that shows a lot more affection than you do. And you're like my wife or like, don't chew next to me.
Don't breathe next to me. Don't touch me. Yeah. Like, I, Reza knows I love him. I show my acts of love in a different form. Yeah. He just loves to be on top of me 24/7.
And I love him, but it's like, I like to do acts of generosity and not, like, I don't know, what's it called, smothering, touching, grab it. Yeah, yeah. What's, so that's your love language showing the acts of kindness.
Kindness, yeah. Like, I love to bully. I love making to bully. Oh, Reza, you want your hungry, here's a bowl to bully. But let me, let me come to you. I'm kind of like a cat, like, I'll come to you.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And I'm the dog. Yeah.
I just don't like comparing to a dog. Yeah. He's kind of like a dog. Like, pick a cute dog. Yeah. A little shit suit or something that just comes to your leg all the time.
All right. You said a cute dog. No, I probably have to compare it to our little show all of next. There you go. You're cute.
So I understand that there was a break with Shaza Sunset. And my wife had her break as well. And it took a year for me to talk her off the ledge. How was it with Reza? I mean, and you guys for she and I was great.
Because we got to reconnect as real people, not TV personas. Yeah. But then when he would get around his former castmates, it's like, So we gotta come up with another show idea. What are we gonna do?
Yeah. And we're cool, great. We just have a normal life. Yeah.
“Like, I honestly, like, I enjoyed the, the downtime.”
I enjoyed just being like real because Reza, I taught him how to, how to garden, how to make a plan from another plan. It's, and so we really enjoyed becoming like those, the gay, Betty, Betty, Crocker, homebody people like that. Yeah.
And he became more chill and even happier. And I, and I loved it. So seeing him, the way that he reacted once, he was told it was not being brought back.
It was just, it was sat in a way because he was always so depressed
and he was like, oh man, like, what am I gonna do? I am Shah as Shah's is me. Yeah. But he definitely grew up in our relationship. And he was more present, which was really, really good.
Yeah. It sounds, again, like, another thing we haven't common. We are the solid foundation in this relationship where we're steady. And they can be crazy. They can, you know, be charismatic.
And, you know, they're great on TV. But when they come home, we got to just, you know, bring him down, you know, have a normal life. You know, you don't have to be on all the time. And I think that's what really helps our relationship.
I grow, you know, because I'm not, like, like, like, you,
I think I'm not about being famous or being on TV, especially on a housewife show, you know, I'm not a housewife. I know, you're pulling my legs. I'm not going to be pulling some girls here and acting like a, you know, crazy woman.
It's just now my thing. Yeah. So, another thing we haven't common, I think I touched on it earlier, was we both got married during our reality TV experience.
“And I think if I remember correctly, you showed a little bit about that.”
The, the, the, the, maybe everything leading up to the wedding, except the wedding. No, we showed the wedding. Oh, you did. Oh, I'm sure as we showed the wedding.
Okay. I was surprised. I was at a restaurant Palm Springs. And it's like, do I want to go and film Palm Springs? Is that particular weekend?
It was my, was a premier party, or one of the shows I was working on. It's at the time I was working on American Horror Story. And I was just like, oh, man, I want to go to my premier party,
because I worked on the first episode.
So, do I do that or do I go to Palm Springs? So, resident talk me into going to Palm Springs, showed up to this restaurant. Next thing I know, he's standing up in the middle of the dinner. And one of our friends, married us.
I forget that the word she was our, our priestess. Yeah.
“And so, we got married on TV, and that was it.”
And which was great, because I didn't have to have the stress of planning the wedding on my, let alone having a room full of people. It's like, I don't mind. Public speaking and being a bunch of people, but if I can afford it, I will. So, it was just a small group of people.
It was very intimate. And it was perfect. Like, I would not grow back and change anything. Yeah. Yeah.
That's great. By the way, American Horror Stories were one of my favorite. And my life's favorite shows we watched from the beginning. And every season was awesome. Awesome.
I worked on the very day one episode one season one. That was my very first job in the industry. Oh, it was so cool. I really enjoyed watching it. So off the beat, that just so cool.
It was such a great, great fun time. Yeah. So now there's a new show called The Valley. And you guys are filming that now, right? How many seasons are you in?
We are Erin season one right now. How different is that or similar to the show's? It's literally night and day. It's like people actually, most people actually get along. That is different.
And it's like, I have a connection with each individual person, which is different. Because on show's, it's like, you can know I was friendly with them.
And I always felt like everyone is just trying to, like,
I'll go up there. You're under the bus. Yeah. What dirty secret of yours can I air? And like, stir it up a little bit.
Like with this group of people, we generally like one another. Okay. And there's always going to be the ups and downs. And it's like, it's not toxic. Like, shots was by the end.
Yeah. The shots was a great opportunity. But this time around I feel like more involved. And everyone just seems to be more pleasant. But again, it's sorely.
So that could change. Yeah.
I always thought that housewives can't be anything different.
You know, it has to have some sort of drama and story line. And just something to get the viewers interested in watching. And I think the common denominator is there's got to be drama. Whatever that drama is, right? So, do you think the new show is going to be able to handle no drama?
It's less. Because through, like, yeah, that's the downside of reality TV. It's like at some point there has to be real drama for there to be any intrigue. And for viewers who want to tune in. Yeah.
I mean, luckily enough, there was some actual real drama this season. Oh, okay. Yeah. Which did not involve me, but obviously involved resum. Yeah.
It was legitimate. Things that needed to be said and done. And you know, res handled it. Oh, okay. Yeah.
“Have you ever felt like you need to step in and help resat at any time?”
More so this year on this series than I did during shots.
This season, like, if someone, like, was talking poorly to resat,
someone would cuss resat out.
“I'd be like, don't you stay at that to my husband?”
I was like, I was always the person is like in there trying to, like, protect him.
You know, he didn't need it. Yeah. And, um, but then, like, afterwards, we'd come home or cameras would break. And he would give me a pat on the backs. I love you. Thank you for doing that because sometimes it's difficult to be in the middle or see a partner be in the heat of a very toxic moment.
Yeah. And to find a moment in or check, um, just to, like, make sure that they know that you have their back. And, um, but I really felt like I somewhat found my voice this season. And I was able to be that person in support for resum. Oh, good.
So, how would you describe the show for viewers that I've not seen it? And, you know, what do you think is going to capture the audience in this new show called the Valley Persian style? I mean, it's got a great title. It's an amazing title. It's literally, it's, like, such a great intro to Persian culture and the, uh, the drama that, that's in their lives.
Yeah, because they're funny. They're dramatic. They, they love to host. They have, like, huge spreads. It's just a fun, it truly is a fun show. Mine is the drama. Like, you see the love that everyone has for one another. Yeah, how everyone stands up for one another. And it's, it's just a great fun show. It's a great group of friends.
“And if you want to, like, see what res and I have enough to definitely watch it.”
And then you can see MJ and GG, uh, three of the OGs, like, back together. Yeah. What adult it looks like now, because the last time people saw any of us, it was, we wrote much younger. Yeah. Yeah.
And we've grown a pandemic happened. We still have a purpose. And so we, we had a lot of growing up to them. Yeah. Yeah. Um, now I understand there's a little drama between GG's ex showing up at your wedding.
So my birthday was my birthday. Oh, it was your birthday. Yeah. Tell me about that. This seems like every birthday party that I have that invite GG too.
She always manages to make it about herself.
Because she is my writer die. I love her death. She's probably my closest friend. Oh, cool. So I'm very forgiving when it comes to her. Yeah. But no, she bites her.
Her ex husband doesn't tell me about it. And then later on, she asked me to kick him out of the house and tell me the home. And it's like, girl, you ruined my birthday. Now you got to put me in an awkward position and tell him to leave. Oh, man.
So there's that's pretty good drama. Yeah, it was like I will always have GG's back. Dennis, he's a great nice guy, one on one. But he definitely is a little thirsty and he wanted to be there. You know, the ride GG's coat tails.
Yeah, so all that happened, and it was just, there was a lot. It was very awkward. Yeah, every show has one, don't they?
There always will has one that has to be like, I'm a star.
I'd hate to say it, but that's GG. She will. Nobody is engaging with her. She will throw her down and leave. Oh, that's the cover. It's like we had a, there was a dinner early on in the season at a mirror in a touches house. And they had a huge Persian dinner spread.
And everybody was talking about their couples problems. And GG couldn't relate because she's divorced twice. Oh, my gosh. And she's not in relationship. And so she's like, you know, I don't connect with any of this.
I got to go and she leaves. She's very dramatic and she leaves. And then it's like, okay, now what do we do? We talk about her or talk about something else. She sounds perfect for reality. Very messy, very messy.
She's very messy, but I love her that she truly is a great person. She's always had my back and I love her for it. That's funny.
“I think I have met her once at an event.”
And I love her energy and her personality. She's super cute.
She's very cute.
And if you ever need to hook up on weed, she's got you. Well, I got my own supply actually. Well, she allegedly, she spends four grand a month on it. Oh, my gosh. You have any of, I know, backups.
“Wait, doesn't, doesn't, didn't she launch a cannabis company?”
That she did. And we went to her launch party and it was great. So you still have the company? I think so. Oh, good.
Okay. I know that they really specialize in CBD oil.
And it's an amazing CBD oil.
I was using it before I got the stem cells that I mentioned earlier. Yeah. And it was, it's great. I said, I thought she was in the medical marijuana side. I don't know. She was in the hand side.
She's in the smoke sides, but then now she's focused on sex voice. Well, left turn there. So if you need any of those toys, let me know when I'll put it off. Oh, I can't imagine a dildo showing up in my house. Wow. I'd be like, babe, did you order this?
Because I didn't. I don't need one. What do you do when the headlines don't explain what's happening inside of you? I'm Ben Higgins. And if you can hear me, it's where culture meets the soul.
A place for real conversation. Each episode, I sit down with people from all walks of light. Celebrities, thinkers, and everyday folks. And we go deeper than the polished story. We talk about what drives us, what shapes us.
What gives us hope. We get honest about the big stuff. Identity when you don't recognize yourself anymore,
“loss that changes you purpose when success is enough.”
Peace when your mind won't slow down, faith when it's complicated. Some guests have answers. Most are still figured out. If you've ever felt like there has to be more to the story, this show is for you.
Listen to, if you can hear me on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. China's Ministry of State Security
is one of the most mysterious and powerful
spy agencies in the world. But in 2017, the FBI got inside. This is Special Agent Regal, Special Agent Bradley Hall.
“This is a story of the inner workings of the MSS,”
and how one man's ambition, and mistakes, opened its vault of secrets. Listen to the 6th Bureau on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In 2023, a story gripped the UK,
evoking horror and disbelief. The nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is now the most prolific child killer in modern British history. Everyone thought they knew how it ended. A verdict, a villain, a nurse named Lucy Leppi.
Lucy Leppi has been found guilty. But what if we didn't get the full story? A moment you look at the whole picture of the case, Collaxis. I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, we follow the evidence
and hear from the people that lived it. To ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Leppi was. No voicing of any skepticism are doubt. It'll cause so much harm at every single level
of the British establishment of this is wrong. Listen to doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Jay Shetty, host of the on-purpose podcast.
I'm joined by Luke Combs, award-winning country music artist, and one of the most authentic voices in music today. Luke opens up about success, self-doubt, mental health,
and what it really takes to stay true to who you are when your life changes overnight. I hate fame, I hate the words celebrity hate those words that you make me uncomfortable. But if you think when you get to a certain point,
the fame or the success or the influence, it just accentuates and exacerbates the inherent person that you are.
The guy that says he's always going to be there
and that will do anything to be there is the only guy that's not there.
I'm in Australia when Bo is born.
My whole identity is that no matter what,
“I'm going to prioritize my wife and my children.”
Over my job, I dread the conversation with my son. What do you think you'd say? Listen to on-purpose with Jay Shetty on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
I understand you and Resa have launched your own brand of snacks. There you go. There we have. Venture list. Yeah, it's called the pantry list.
We literally spent, I actually have a box here. We are good friend. Kristen Channel, she hit me up. Like, hey, can you send me some? So I actually have a box of her right here.
What is it? It's a, so this is, okay. So this is me. Okay. I think this is Resa.
So, Resa thinks he looks like Fred from I love Lucy. So, kind of. This just what happens when you don't get involved in the business.
“It's like, I, I built this business with our money.”
Yeah. They Persian, Tromix company. You're able to build your own mix with, like, the different flavored Persian nuts, dried fruits. Because any time you go over to a Persian house,
they always have a bowl of nuts out of some sort
or dried fruit. And that's where the, the idea came from. Because as an American, I love to snack on chicken nuggets. Yeah. Then it's like, you go to your office,
and all the good Tromix is gone except for that weird nasty stuff at the bottom that nobody ever eats. Yeah. So, I was like, why, why not? Make a Persian version.
And Persian versions. I love that you want to eat. Instead of, like, wasting your money on all that stuff that you're going to throw away. Yeah.
And so, it took two years to find our vendors. And we launched it early January. And we've been doing great. So, we get a lot of sales every day. We get, it's just been phenomenal.
So, who does the distribution? We do. You do, okay. Yeah, we do. So, we, we've rented a small kitchen.
And we do all the packing there. Okay.
“I was small group of employees who helps us pack everything.”
Way everything out. And it's, it's great. It's been, it's been eye-opening in a way. Because, because, like, like, wow, people, they really build odd blends.
And it's like, I would never put these two things together.
Yeah. And they're great. It's, it's just fun. And a lot of the, it's a genius idea, by the way. Because I'd love to, you know, I love mixed nuts.
But there's some that I like more than others. And I tend to justify that, that there's nuts in that that I don't really like because I wouldn't eat them. Otherwise, I would just stick to cash use or, you know, walnuts or, you know, one nut.
But it's better for me to just grab a handful and not really. I mean, in this there's a nut that I absolutely am allergic to or just don't like the flavor, which I don't, I've never come across one. But it's, it's easier for me to just pick the nut I want, or the variety I want.
How many different varieties do you have? Oh, dude, we have 30 something options. And we're growing. But like there's other, there's new items we have. You can put on to our list yet. So you can either build your own or
we have our specialty blend, which are things that we've come up with. Where you can just, if I go, I don't know what I want. They just go to our specialty blends and you select one of those. Okay.
Like we have, like, first in she, she bought our midnight crunch
and our silk road deluxe. So midnight crunch and imagine like a deconstructed Snickers. It's got raw rolls of dates, vegan chocolate chips, and peanut butter, pod pretzels. Wow.
That sounds really good. It sounds really good. And it's healthy. It's so healthy. It's so healthy.
Absolutely. Good thing. Yeah. Like everything that we have is like, it's very healthy. Minus the, the new get,
other than that, everything is like vegan, healthy, and organic. I love it. Do you have a website? You're a pantryless official dot com. If you haven't checked it out, please check it out.
Can you say that again a little bit slower? Cause I didn't even catch it. The pantryless official dot com pantryless official dot com. Okay. Yeah.
That's our website. So feel free to check it out. Awesome. Awesome. Well, I don't know why we'll make sure to announce that
when I post these videos that, you know, you got to try it.
You got to try the nuts and trust me.
I know how hard it is to build a business.
So I'm happy to help. Anyway, I can. Oh, please. Oh, I'll hit you up later. There.
“If you've never tried a chilly lemon costume.”
Oh, that sounds so damn good. It's going to lock your socks off. Like I almost sent you some. How do you make it? I can just not ask the vendor.
It sounds amazing. I can't wait to try that. Really? Well, Adam, thank you so much for taking the time. I know you're busy.
Um, I just wanted to get a chance to get on here. Get to know you and our hopefully our audience has questions. And they can reach out to you. And even buy some product. Get to know yourself.
Please do. It's an amazing product. I am not just saying that because it's my business.
But it's, it truly is an amazing product.
That's awesome. And it's healthy. That's what I really love about it. Now, if you were talking about some alcohol brand, I wouldn't even be mentioned right now.
Everybody's got a vodka. Everybody's got a tequila. Yeah. I love the health aspect of it. Good for you.
Thank you. Thank you again. Do you have any questions for me? Um, actually, I don't want one question for you, Eddie. Um, when your wife has an issue with someone,
“do you have to have an issue with that person, too?”
Um, you know, that's a great question because it's happened multiple times. And more specifically, I have, I still am friends with David Bador, who was married to Shannon. Bador. And when they were married, um, we used to hang out all the time. We had a lot in common, both home businesses, part of an entrepreneur organization.
We had, we understood the code. We did Spartans together. We became friends. And then when they broke up, he moved on with his life. And of course, um, Shannon decided to, you know, manipulate my wife to say stuff.
And she got bad stuff about him. And, um, and he reached out to me, like, I can't be friends with you anymore. I was like, what? Oh, but I mean, we can't be friends. And, you know, I took it.
I understood at the same time, I'm like, okay, this is both, you know, I don't like this. And I'm not going to jump on this bandwagon. Because everything I know about David, I like. He's a cool guy. And, you know, I don't know much about Shannon, except what I've seen on the show
in a few times I've spent with her, but I, if I was to choose who I'm going to be friends with, it was, obviously, David because I have a lot more in common with them. So I had to talk with my wife about it. And she says, okay, you're right. I'm sorry.
I just shouldn't have said those things. And I said, thank you. And I talked to David about it. And he's like, okay, we can be friends again. I've been in that boat.
Who did you have to hate? Did you? Did you? Yeah. She's your right and die.
How do you? I know it was so hard. She, so during Shah's, she earned Resah had an altercation, and she was trying to get physical with them. And I got the middle of it. She, mold my neck.
I had a claw marks down my neck. And I was holding flowers. I was holding roses. And I was protecting the roses. I was like, not their roses.
And she just clawed my neck. And Resah was like, no, we're done with her. We can't talk to her. Wow. So it was really hard.
Yeah, that would be hard for me, too. Honestly.
But thank God we've never gotten physical on our show.
Because you can say anything to me, call me any name you want. It doesn't bother me. But you lay a finger on me. A different person's going to come out. And it's going to protect me.
And it's going to protect my wife. So it's better that I don't get involved. And I'm saying, which is hard, which is another reason why I like to stay in the shadows. And not really engaged too much. Because I'd rather be squeaky.
Yeah. I imagine Resah can handle his own. I know my wife certainly can. And I've witnessed her go, you know, head to head with, and not another housewife, just another housewife.
But another house husband who wants to be a housewife. And she puts him in his place. So it's just not a show for guys. It just isn't. Why is there not a house husband show?
Like with all the house husbands of the housewives? I don't know. I want to know the drama that goes on between the likes the men. Well, you know, generally speaking, most men avoid drama. I mean, it's one of our, at least one of my top priorities.
If there's drama, I try to avoid it or snuff it out. I just don't need any unnecessary drama in my life. There's enough challenges to deal with.
“So knowing that, I think that's why I always say,”
if I had a house husband show of my own, I would be very boring. It'd be like watching paint dry. I am not a drama queen and it would be boring.
I mean, now put me in a, you know,
F1 TV show, driving a race car.
I'm all about that.
“And I can probably create some drama out of that.”
But I'll get to drive an F1 vehicle. Oh, dude, you would love. There's a guy on our show named Greg. That's all he ever does in the streets. He drives off the Palm Springs and he does race cars.
At Thermal, right? There's a track called Thermathe. It's such a cool track, such a cool place. Yeah. Yeah.
You know, I, I would love to do something like that. But right now, in my life, I'm all about two wheels, motorcycles of any kind, off-road, on-road bicycles, anything with two wheels. I love.
Cool. [laughter] That was a great question. Thank you so much again, Adam. Yeah.
It's been a pleasure having you. And guess what?
You are first non-house husband guest.
“So it'll be interesting to hear a feedback from our, our listeners.”
And, you know, please give it to me straight. If you liked that, if you have anything good, bad, ugly to say about Adam, just give it to us. We can handle it, right, Adam?
What? [laughter] Exactly. Thanks again for taking the time. This is very, very nice of me, you.
You use a wallet, thank you. [music] You can scroll the headlines all day and still feel empty.
