Hey, Bowser Bams, Mindy and Guy Rossey here, and before we start the show, we...

We just got a brand new item in stock and our shop.

Introducing, the state of the art never before seen herd or wanted jar of birds.

What?

β€œDo you or a loved one enjoy the smell of a fresh tooth?”

No! Well then you're not going to like this. Each while in the world jar of birds features the latest vacuum sealing technology to preserve the tooth's original odor. So your nose will be so full of sulfur, the second your sniffer gets a width of it. Mindy, this is gross! No one's going to want to buy this!

That's exactly what Market Research said, but I think. Wait a minute, what's today's date? It's April 1st, isn't it? April Bulls, Guy Rossey! So we're not selling jars of tooths?

Of course not, but we do have some stem toys that too too! Mindy, like a wow in the world, high-flying air rocket. It's got a tooth nozzle for when you want to let a rip.

And our wow in the world, amazing human body kit comes with a tooth whistle too!

And not to chew our own hornier, but we've got lots of stem toys that will wow the kids in your life, who love science, and the ones who don't! Yet, grownups visit tinkercast.com/shop to shop the wow now that's tinkercast.com/shop. Now, back to the show. And now, for every one second favorite game show after, all order-deserved if you order-deserved.

It's two, one, and the wow! With your hosts, meet me again, Guy Rossey! Hello and welcome to two wats in a wow!

The scientific game show that separates the wows from the wats, and the category or theme for today is...

Who at it? Mindy, why don't you refresh our contestants on how the game works? You know it, Wazards, and each of our three rounds today, Guy Rossey, will present you with three scientific statements about the planet in our solar system. But, and this is a big book! Only one of those statements will be a true wow!

The other two, just a couple of made-up! Whoa! Now, in each round, if you guess correctly, well, congratulations, you would appoint.

β€œBut, if you guys incorrectly, you must stop, drop, and do a ridiculous physical challenge.”

Okay, everyone ready to start the game? Great, then let's do it! All right, round one, which of the following statements is a true scientific wow? Is it A? Mercury is the most lightweight planet in the solar system.

Or is it B? A day on Venus is longer than a year on Venus. Or is it C? Earth is the center of the universe. When you think you have the correct answer, y'all, intergalactic, planetary, planetary, intergalactic! Ketching! Ketching! Ketching! Ketching! Ketching music! And time is up! Let's now reveal the winning wow!

And do just that! It's George from Pennsylvania!

β€œGeorge from Pennsylvania! Tell us, what's the winning wow?”

Hi, my name is George. My wow is that a day on Venus is longer than a year on Venus. When are winner Venus, the light traps for dinner? Thank you, George, contestants, if you guessed the answer B, that a day on Venus is longer than a year on Venus, well, congratulations, you found the winning wow.

Venus is closer to the sun than the Earth, which means that its orbital path or distance around the sun is shorter, too. The sun's gravitational pull on Venus is also stronger than on Earth, so it orbits the sun faster, and both of these things make a year on Venus shorter.

Only about 225 Earthdates.

But Venus spins much, much more slowly than Earth does,

about 243 Earthdates. That means that a day on Venus is actually shorter than one of its years. Now, if you did not get that answer correct,

β€œyou must stop, drop, and spin around 225 times.”

Around, and around, and around, and around, and around, and then I'm getting dizzy just watching you. Which of the following statements is a true scientific wow? Is it A? Mars' polar caps are made of dry ice. Or is it B? Jupiter has the most moons in the solar system.

Or is it C? Saturn's rings are fried, like onion rings, and taste great with honey mustard. When you think you have the correct answer, send a message into space. Ah, thinking music, please. And time is up, and joining us by phone to reveal the winning wow,

it's Toby from California, Toby, what's the wow? Hi, my name is Toby. My wow is that Mars' polar caps are made of dry ice, which is frozen carbon dioxide. When are we there to write ice or dinner? Thank you, Toby. Wowsers, if you guessed A,

that Mars' polar caps are made of dry ice, well, congratulations, you found the winning wow. Mars has an icy north and south pole just like Earth does. The north pole is made of frozen water, but the south pole has an ice cap made out of frozen carbon dioxide or dry ice.

During Mars' winter, about a third of the atmospheres,

carbon dioxide freezes and forms an ice cap on the south pole. And in the spring, the ice thaws and evaporates back into the atmosphere. Now, if you did not get that answer correct, you must stop, drop, and breathe. Hold it, hold it, hold it, and breathe.

Okay, round three, which of the following statements is a true scientific wow, is it A? Uranus formed far outside our solar system and was pulled in later. Or, is it B? Sometimes Pluto and Neptune's orbits overlap.

Or, is it C?

Every three billion years, the planets in our solar system change places.

When you think you have the correct answer, YELL, I'm Astro, not getting this wrong.

β€œOkay, Reggie, can we get some thinking music, please?”

And time is up, and joining us by phone, it's Marlow from New York. Marlow? What's the winning wow? Hi, my name is Marlow. I'm on the world, it's that sometimes Pluto and Neptune orbits overlap.

Winner winner, Orbital, gone from dinner. That's right, Marlow, wowsers if you guessed B, but sometimes Pluto and Neptune's orbits overlap. Well, congratulations, you found the winning wow. The planet Neptune and the dwarf planet Pluto

have very different orbital paths. Neptune has a mostly circle-shaped orbit, and Pluto is more of an elliptical or oval shape. And while Pluto is typically farther from the sun than Neptune, because of its oval shape, there are times when Pluto is actually closer. Now, if you did not get that answer correct,

β€œyou must stop, drop, and bowl, and stop into space.”

And now, it's time to take a moment to thank our sponsors. Today's show is brought to you by Mindy's Astro Meals. Are you exploring the solar system and needs a nourishment for the long flight ahead? Well, Mindy's Astro Meals crams all of your favorite food

The scientific game show that separates the walls from the wall. Oh, what's that? Oh, Guy Roz, that sound can mean only one thing. It's launch day cool. It's time for today's soccer ball's bonus round.

In our while-in-the-world episode titled "An Attitude of Gratitude," scientists studied a group of almost 50,000 nurses over the span of 30 years to try to learn how gratitude can impact a person's life over time.

β€œAnd the bonkers ball's bonus question is, what did the scientists discover?”

Is it A, that grateful people may tend to live longer? Or is it B, that grateful people don't need to exercise? Or is it C, that grateful people become scientists that study gratitude? And with the answer to today's bonkers ball's question, please welcome Reggie.

Reggie, tell us what's the winning wow? And there you have it! If you guess the answer A, that grateful people may tend to live longer, congratulations you found the winning wow. Well, congratulations to all of our winning wowsers, Nindi, what's today's prize?

Gyros, today's winning wowsers will all be receiving their very own asteroid belt. Reggie, you're the prize cannon. Oh, boy! Hi, Roboy! Keep your hands up solar system style.

Uh, hey, Mindy, do you have any asteroid suspenders?

Oh, I had some made up just for you, Gyros.
