Welcome to our daily Rosary Meditation.
Amen. Let's call to mind all those. We've promised to pray for.
“I believe in God the Father Almighty, creator of Heaven and Earth.”
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended into hell. On the third day, He rose again.
He ascended into Heaven and He seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life of everlasting amen. Our Father, who art in Heaven, hollowed with be your name, by kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us a stay, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us,
“and lead us not into temptation, deliver us from evil amen.”
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed our Thou among women, blessed he's a fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us in our ensnown at the hour of our death, amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed our Thou among women, blessed he's a fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us in our ensnown at the hour of our death, amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed our Thou among women, blessed he's a fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us in our ensnown at the hour of our death, amen. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, as now never shall be, world without end, amen.
Our first mystery. You're familiar with that dramatic moment in the life of Jesus when he drove the demons out of
“a man and they entered a herd of pigs and the pigs rushed down into the sea and were drowned.”
This poor man was possessed by a legion of demons, about 5,000 of them. His life was totally out of control. So out of control, he had to live among the tombs, crying out day and night. No one could restrain him, not even with chains, and he knew his life was out of control. He couldn't manage it, he couldn't fix himself, he couldn't set himself free.
But then he saw Jesus, and he ran to him, fell down before him, and surrendered himself to Jesus as God.
And Jesus set him free. And the demons went into the herd of pigs who rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned. Now when everyone came out to see what had happened, they found the man who had been completely out of control. The man no one could live with, and now there he was, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed in his right mind, totally at peace.
Totally out of control, he ran to Jesus, he surrendered. Jesus set him free. And now he was at peace. This is what happens when we stop trying to control everything ourselves and surrender ourselves, unconditionally to Jesus. Or Father Wharton Heaven, howl it would be your name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is, and heaven.
Give us a stare, dearly bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us for a mevel I meant. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thoul, my women, blessed is a fruit, of thy will, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us and earth,
now in the hour of our death, amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thoul, my women, blessed is a fruit, of thy will, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us and earth, now in the hour of our death, amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thoul, my women, blessed is a fruit, of thy will, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us and earth, now in the hour of our death, amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with
thee, blessed art thoul, my women, blessed is a fruit, of thy will, Jesus. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with
Thee, blessed art thoul, my women, blessed is a fruit, of thy will, Jesus.
pray for us and earth, now in the hour of our death, amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with
“thee, blessed art thoul, my women, blessed is a fruit, of thy will, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God,”
pray for us and earth, now in the hour of our death, amen.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us and earth, now in the hour of our death, amen. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was, in the beginning, as now in our shallopy, world without end, amen. Oh, my Jesus. Forgive us, our sins, save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls
to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy. Our second mystery. The man who was
totally out of control was transformed by his encounter with Jesus and it happened in an instant. Now we see other dramatic transformations like this. Think of St. Paul, one moment he's traveling to Damascus to arrest and kill Christians, then he encounters Jesus and he becomes the greatest Christian apostle ever. But that's not the ordinary way God transforms us. Usually,
“Jesus transforms us over time, over a lifetime. And the essential, non-negotiable means of our”
personal transformation are the frequent reception of the sacraments combined with daily meditation
and a resolution. For in the Eucharist, Jesus increases his life in us and in reconciliation,
he forgives heals and restores us and by daily meditation and a resolution, our thinking, our feelings, and our behavior changed for good. St. Augustine famously said, "God created you without you, but he will not save you without you." For God can do what only he can do, but we must do our part. So the combination of sacraments and deepening prayer, result in holiness, and it is holiness that will convert others. Only if you are transformed by Christ,
will you be able to help your loved ones because the most convincing witness is not an argument,
“but a transformed life. Our Father, who art in heaven, howl it be your name.”
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us a stare, daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil amen. Your Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed, our Thal, among women, blessed is a fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holding their mother, God, pray for us in our ensnown at the hour of our death, amen. Your Mary full of grace, the Lord is with
thee, blessed, our Thal, among women, blessed is a fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother, God, pray for us in our ensnown at the hour of our death, amen. Your Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed, our Thal, among women, blessed is a fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother, God, pray for us in our ensnown at the hour of our death, amen. Your Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed, our Thal, among women, blessed is a fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Your Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed, our Thal, among women, blessed is a fruit of
Thy womb, Jesus.
Your Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed, our Thal, among women, blessed is a fruit of
“thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother, of God, pray for us in our ensnown at the hour of our death, amen.”
Your Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed, our Thal, among women, blessed is a fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother, of God, pray for us in our ensnown at the hour of our death, amen. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning as now,
never shall be, world without end, amen. All my Jesus, or give us our sins, saviour from the fires of
hell, lead all souls to have an especially those most in need of thy mercy. Our third mystery, before Jesus departed, the man who had been set free from the demons begged him that he might become one of the apostles, but Jesus refused. Instead, he told him, go to your own people and tell them how the Lord had mercy on you. Now the apostles were called to the ordained ministry. They became bishops and priests. Jesus told this man, your calling is not to be ordained. You're to be
a lay person, but you still have a mission, and that mission is to your own people, to your
family and friends. In the original Greek text of this scripture, Jesus actually said to the man,
"Pros, to us, Zeus, go to your own, go back to your family, go back to your friends, go back to the people God already placed in your life, go back with a transformed life,
“and help them grow closer to God." That's the mission of the layety, and that's why,”
at the end of mass, the priest dismisses us saying, "Go, go back to your family and friends, and help them grow closer to God." The priest tells you to go, and then he stays at the parish, because his mission is at the parish, and yours is with your family and friends.
So, like the former demonia, Jesus sends you to your own people to be an apostle of friendship.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hell it would be your name. That kingdom come, they will be done on earth as it is in heaven. You vests us to air, daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, amen.
“Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed, our thumb, and women, blessed,”
is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, sinners, now in the hour of our death, amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed, our thumb, and women, blessed, is a fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, sinners, now in the hour of our death, amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed, our thumb, and women, blessed, is a fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us, sinners, now in the hour of our death, amen. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, sinners, now in the hour of our death, amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with
thee, blessed, our thumb, and women, blessed, is a fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary,
Mother of God, pray for us, sinners, now in the hour of our death, amen. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, sinners, now in the hour of our death, amen. Glory be to the
Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
world of our shallot be, we're all the bad end, amen. All my Jesus. Forgive us, our sins,
“save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to have an especially those most in need of”
thy mercy. Our fourth mystery. When the hergements saw the miracle, Jesus performed, they blend out of fear. And when the towns people saw it, they begged Jesus to leave. Wow. They didn't want what Jesus was offering. And now Jesus has commissioned the former Dominic to go on mission to these same people. This is not going to be easy. He will have to do a few things. He could probably use some practice in the art of friendship and good conversation because, you know,
he's been living out in the tombs all by himself. And you'll probably need some practice in taking
initiative, hospitality, taking interest in others, asking good questions, listening, caring for them, and when the time is right, inviting them to their own encounter with Jesus. And then you'll
“probably need some practice in how to accompany those people one-on-one and say,”
grow deeper and prayer and holiness in their own mission of friendship. So he's got some work to do. Like we all do. And we haven't even been living among the tombs. Our father, who art in heaven, hell, would be your name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is
in heaven. Give us a stare, daily bread, and give us our trespasses. As we give those who trespass
against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil amen. Hail Mary full of grace. The Lord is with thee blessed art thou among women. Blessed is a fruit of I womb Jesus. As it was in me and in us now in the Varshaubi world without end, amen. Oh, my Jesus. Forgive us, our sins, save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to have an especially those most in need of the mercy. Our fifth mystery.
“Now remember, the first time Jesus came to the decopolis in Mark chapter 5, the people were afraid”
and they actually begged him to leave. But the next time Jesus went there, everything had changed. In Mark chapter 7, Jesus returned to the decopolis and this time they come looking for him and they bring him a man who can't hear or speak and they begged Jesus to heal him and afterward, they themselves begin proclaiming what Jesus has done and then great crowds gathered around Jesus for several days to hear him teach and he feeds the 4,000.
Jesus had crossed the lake seemingly for one tormented man.
leave and instead of forcing himself on them, he left behind one transformed layman as his witness. That man went to his own people, built friendships with them and prepared them to receive Jesus. And when Jesus returned, he encountered a radically different reception. Eventually the decopolis became a major Christian region. Hippos, Gattara, Pella,
“Gerasan and the other cities became important Christian centers filled with Catholic churches and led by bishops.”
Jesus transformed one layperson and sent him back to his own people, so never underestimate what God can do with you.
Our Father who art in heaven, hollowed be your name, that kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us a stay or do the bread and forgive us our trespasses as we free of those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but the verse for me will amen. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning as now and ever shall be. We're old without end, amen. Oh, my Jesus. For you have us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy. Same Michael, the Archangel, Defendos, in battle, will be our protection against wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God, review, can we humbly pray and do thou old prince of the heavenly host by the power of God, cast into hell, Satan and all the evil spirits, and the proud throughout the world seeking the root of souls. In the name of the Father and the Son of the Holy Spirit, amen.
True, some always amazed with this man, this man possessed by the demons, and this passage,
“because I think in many ways we're all like him, I mean, there are so many ways in which our own lives,”
there are things that are just out of control we can't fix, and we can only surrender them to Jesus, and we all need a personal transformation by Jesus. And we all have people in our lives who are just totally disinterested with God and religion, but we desperately want their conversion, because we want to be with them in heaven. But we, too, probably, have some work to do, we could probably, we all probably need some practice,
We need to get better at the art of friendship, the art of good conversation,
the skill of being able to engage people about the faith, without being judgmental or annoying. So often we do more harm than good, we all probably need some practice, but this is, this is our mission, the mission of the school of faith, the mission of the
“movement, of the Holy Family, this movement that I believe God wants to drive all over the world,”
because really what we're trying to do is three things. We want to help everybody to a personal transformation. But secondly, we want to help you be better, more effective in helping your loved ones to heaven,
and third, we want to help you be able to have really effective one-on-one conversations.
And we've designed a way to train you, and if this resonates with you, I really invite you, click the button below, join the movement, because that's the doorway into the training. We have 2,000 people right now who are going through this training, but why not 20,000? We're 200,000. Jesus wants to send us to our own people, but we probably have some work to do first.
What are your thoughts from this meditation? Well, I think, especially in connection with what you just said, it's the Deboniac certainly seemed hopeless and helpless. And like, this is a last guy that should be going out to help others.
Yeah. But the first thing he does is he runs to Christ. Yes.
He acknowledges that there's a problem, and it has to be fixed outside of himself. Yes. And that I like your practical reflection on how you have to relearn that kind of socialization. We all do it. At some point, we all learned how to socialize. Maybe we were, it was so early,
“that we don't remember, but at some point, you have to learn the ropes of everything that”
to get good at it. And a lot of that just means some of the things you're talking about, like not being judgmental when you talk, coming into a conversation without expectations, not trying to bend people to your will, listening because you're interested in them, just asking questions just to get to know them. And a lot of it is an internal disposition. Yeah. And that comes from running to Christ. And being open to information like you're offering here
in this training program because it's so often, we think, well, people keep rejecting me or they keep, they keep rejecting this conversation about God. And it can't be my fault.
First step, humble yourself and say, maybe there's something I don't know. Maybe there's something
“I don't see, but the only way to learn that is by sitting down with these people, listening,”
maybe considering that there are other ways or something that you might be missing. Yeah. Because again, the first thing run to God, but you have to do so humbly. And you have to say, maybe there's something I don't know. Yeah. What can I change? What can I do differently? Because I meet people all the time that are thinking, I don't know, people just hate it when I bring up God, but then you'll be a fly on the wall. And you see how it's brought up.
And you think that could have been done more delicately or it could have been done with more awareness of the other person that you're talking to. Yeah, dry. But these are things that you can only learn in community. If you try to learn in isolation, how to have these conversations, I mean, it's an echo chamber of error. Yeah, it did so true. We've been training people for the last 15 years in this. And the three things that they've told us, the three most helpful things
they've told us are that this training helped us establish a real prayer life. Secondly, it gave us the practice we needed. And third, it helped us really establish spiritual friendships
Then to practice in those spiritual friendships.
in a vacuum. Mm-hmm. But it's okay if you have to learn. It's okay if you think you've learned
“and you maybe need to reassess some of those skills. But it's important to no matter where you're at,”
continue the journey of learning and keep your ears open for that advice, accepted when it comes.
Yeah. And why not practice in a safe environment with all kinds of other people
“committed to the same thing? Mm-hmm. That's what we're trying to do with this movement of the”
Holy Family is to offer people a place to practice and grow with other people who are,
hey, it's one of mine is this, we're all the garrison. Yeah. And we're all supposed to go
“back to our own, back to our own. So I invite everyone out there, click the button below and”
join us. Let's create this worldwide movement of the Holy Family, this worldwide movement of apostles of friendship. That's really what it is. And if you're listening with us right now on a format that doesn't have the link, just go to our website, schooloffaith.com. Schooloffaith.com, click the button right there. Well thanks for the conversation, Teresa. Thank you. Let's be apostles of friendship, good conversation, and the rosary. Share this with others.
