those outer limits and that's when this greatest lessons are learned. We all start this journey with the same Y, and that's the service of the Constitution. That the how and the what that comes later. It's understanding the Y and the purpose is serving the Constitution. Lieutenant Seal Rob Sarver is a combat decorated military veteran, strategic operational

leader, and Morton educated executive who serves as the co-CEO and co-founder of the Heroes Journey LLC. Drawing from a decorated career of resilience and elite team building, he translates battle-tested principles into high impact corporate strategies, helping organizations transform their leadership culture to build an enduring legacy of purpose and performance.

You have to realize as a veteran, especially if you serve that those levels,

yeah you earn your black belt. You are an expert, you have the superpower, but when you get out, you have to understand you're putting back on a white belt and you're starting over again. And the faster you can realize that, and the faster you can find that new identity and purpose, that is such a humbling experience. Yes sir. And willing to be in service of others. I mean you're you're going in service to your point.

You're serving this piece of paper this ideal, and that is so powerful because you're

you're serving a transcendent cause that very few people will ever understand or do. But it's upon you at the end of that service to come back with this great honor and pride and great nobility to pass that on. But if you find all the right people when you give that space to build trust, you're building that high-try trust team. Yep. Or it comes out of that. It's just

amazing human capital. You'll back and reflect on everything that has happened to you,

there. You need those deepest wounds. It's not over. I'm telling our way. The living your legacy podcast for those who live to leave a legacy. Welcome back to another episode of the Living Your Legacy podcast. For Insights Access, I am Reggeteers. We are fresh off of another amazing episode of

Operation CEO. Joining me today is Rob Sarrer. He is the founder and CEO of Serbia's group.

A lot of cool amazing names. Welcome to the show first of all. Thank you. I really appreciate

you guys having a humble to be here. I know everybody by company, my founders, the people who have built this company, built this amazing thing. Truly, truly thank you for the opportunity. Oh, it's a joy to serve my friend. Great great energy, great frequencies, your partners here. What is your proper title? So I feel like I messed that up. So the military, I was lieutenant. Yes, sir. I got out. That was a troop commander,

silting three when I got out. And now I buy serve humbly as the CEO of Serbia's group. Wow. Yeah, seal. Like SEL. That is huge. I've had Marines. I had Air Force. I have at Senators. But a seal is a completely different mindset, different level, a different

galaxy. Where do we begin? How do I ask a folk, a person like you, that question?

You mean you just have to like cold water? Okay. Yeah, just not, not sleep. But no, I think, you know, as I said earlier, it is the ultimate human experience because you are adapted to every human behavior. Yeah, the fear, the doubt, the exhaustion, the ego, the subjugation of the ego. It's, and when you, when you live through that and you go through those experiences, like you're pushing those outer limits, then that's when this

greatest lessons are learned. Yeah, when we talked about the hero's journey and kind of like the mythos, the, the real journey of the spirit of what it is, what you're really doing. It almost kind of feels like the human experience that is normal is very contrived, very boring. It's just like there is little heroes journey. You're kind of old enough and you're a graduate and then you got a job and then you make more of yourself and then you have a legacy and then you

pass away and you are become whatever you think you become. That's it. There is no challenge. There's no story. These people lean on folks like you and I, maybe at some level for music, for entertainment, for real journeys of the human experience and they call it movies, they call it film. You serve the real effem deal. Marvel movies, character superheroes, all these contrived, galaxy quests, characters are written about your adventures. How does that feel to

live in this reality as this virtual reality? But it's very much real. It's amazing, but it's also

humbling because these are back to, I never knew any of this would happen but they're going along

that path to be a warrior and experiencing all these things and living on those fringes to experience

Human life like in these human, these behaviors.

with the rest of everybody. And you go back to Native Americans and all these warrior cultures, like how do you indoctrinate these people? How do you bring them back? And I think it's, it really is upon the veteran to complete the heroes journey, that in Joseph Campbell's heroes journey, there to come back and to be able to tell these tales and give these lessons learned for also these other generations. But for also for us to refine purpose and have that second heroes journey.

Refine purpose, the transition in and out. What does it like to go from militarized weaponized about transitioning back to being a human person? And vice versa. It takes a while. And so when I wrote the book, Words of A and it's, I met folks from World War II in Vietnam that still have not

completed this journey. And they're still living carrying around Thor's hammer and they can never

let go. And you really have to find a mentor and have self-realization that you have to finish this

journey. And you have to be honest with yourself. Yes, sir. But it's, it's, it's been an amazing ride. It really has been. It's funny because you, you see these grand stories that I hear it in music and a little story, I recollect return of the Jedi where Luke Skywalker tosses his lightsaber. He goes, "No, I, I am like my father before me." He's like, "I don't need for this weapon anymore." And he just tosses it. Like I'm going to save my father through humility and through my heart.

Talk about what is driving a seal? What is driving armed forces? Well, it's interesting you mentioned Star Wars because George Lucas wrote Star Wars based off

the hero's turn. But 80, 90% of all story comes back. Oh yeah, that's based off that, right?

Yeah, George. This is the warrior's tale. That's very veteran's tale. It's every, every person's tale. Absolutely. Um, real quick. He said, "What is, what's installed in store for the military today?

What is driving us?" We all start this journey with the same Y in that's the service of the

Constitution that the how and the what that comes later. It's understanding the Y and the purpose is serving the Constitution. You know, you can go off and you can do, you can define your how and why in the military after that. Sure, sure. How does it, it's like, for folks who don't quite understand, like, what motivates someone to go, "I'm going to serve this hypothetical hyperbolic piece of paper that defines an entire country." And like, it's on every dollar bill in God we trust.

Like, what does that really speak to the third eye in the human soul when you serve it? It's somewhere along the way. I think people see, you know, they see the sacrifice or they see

the incredible discipline with these people get. But it's really the, uh, I think understanding

the services of our, and willing to be in service of others. I mean, you're, you're going in service to your point. You're serving this piece of paper this ideal. And that is so powerful because you're, you're serving a transcendent cause. And very few people will ever understand or do. But it's upon you at the end of that service to come back with this great honor and pride and

great nobility to pass that on. Do you feel like that's why you, you folks are, are trained

through such very intense, so breaking regimen where it's like, we're not trying to break you, we're just trying to awake in the true soul in you. What's really happening when you're in that ocean and the sand skating. And you replum it in and you're looking to your fellow brother and like, what the, what's going on in Saudi? Uh, um, besides being cold. Besides being very, yeah, besides being very cold, um, you are there to test every fiber of your body, you are.

It's, you're there, you know, you're there to say, okay, everything that I've been in the past there, could I be there in the present and perform? And I can I in the future, can I go serve with one of the greatest units in history? And I think that's so like you're, you're taking everything in time and space and you're putting yourself to the ultimate test to say, can I do it? And you have this long brotherhood in front of you, um, that if you're, if you're lucky, you get to

stand amongst the ranks. Well, was that the moment you realized, oh my god, I can compress time, somehow I can move from my past the beginning and being this moment, feel everyone's energy and we are a legion. Is that when it happened? Yes, I mean, yes, understanding time, but but seeing everybody else's energy around you just wants you to keep pushing and pushing and pushing and pushing and then being an officer in the mix of that is like, okay, I have to step up for these people. I have to

get, uh, earn trust. I have to show them just this, um, ruthlessness, this grit, this resiliency, uh, if they're going to follow me. That's there. It's, it's, it's kind of crazy because you kind of find this camaraderie even folks that are in jail feel free because now they're among, they're a saying brothers at suffered, felt pain, other being penalized, but now they're in a group setting, almost a tribe of village where they're healing together and they're going through a process of

Remaining waking up, eating and one hour break, but they're going through a m...

for the soul. How does that transcend to what you've done in your training and what you do to

a day as an entrepreneur? Is it shared suffering? Ooh, it's a little sorry. It's, it's, it's,

it's shared suffering. It is, it is taking those experiences and looking around you and, you know, codifying it or the cohesiveness of the team and taking that and just as in the military doing that and leaving that impact and holding those standards at, at your lowest moments where you're just defeated, uh, again, back to every human behavior just stripped and defeated and taking that into business and realizing that all these things moving around you and all this white noise that if I just

stay grounded in the moment that I can be the centerpiece, I can be the balance of power to have my team calm and then they can start making decisions and then we can take that next to, to liberative measure step towards success. The Jedi away, I see patience. Patients, patience and sets are, no, we're dealing up solutes. The passion or my, my change or broken. How does one pull rain back that power? You've been given this great responsibility. You've been given the arc

angel power, but how does one serve that and use that for good honestly? It's kind of be exhausting. I think, uh, no, you know, that's a great question because I think it was back to your, like,

you know, how do you transition out of this all that? And yes, sir, you have to realize

it as a veteran, especially if you served at those levels. Yeah, you earned your black belt. You were an expert. You had the superpower, but when you get out, you have to understand you're putting back on a white belt and you're starting over again. And the faster you can realize that and the faster you can find that new identity and purpose, um, that is such a humbling experience, yes, sir. And you're, you're able to take that to other people, well, like look,

okay, I've, you have been there and it just gave me a little bit of time and I'll re-find my superpower in my, or my black belt on my, my second here is journey, but to help other people

do that, I guess that's an incredible feeling. Yeah, people always ask me, "Oh, what do you do for

living this night?" And I was like, "Well, I'm on my fourth fifth peak. I've dreamt of manifesto that I achieved, move that up like I cram on my fourth or fifth peak now." Here is journey where it's like the grandeur, the pain, the grandeur, the reward, where it's totally moly. A lot, I've read this recently. A lot of folks are like, "Why me? Why me?" It's like, "Why not you? You are the reason why everything exists around you. You're the only memo on this planet that is designed to create.

And when you're not creating, guess what? You're depressed." Yeah. So if you can manifest reality and understand that you will that power, I feel like that's where a sense of happiness begins. What do you do today to train veterans to find their happiness? To turn that weaponized power and to re-evaluate themselves and ascend into happiness? I want them to realize and give them the framework that the hero is joining right now. You left this known world of everything that

you were, and you went to this unknown universe. Yes, there. And you were changed. You came back, you went through some crucible and you came back. Like, you have to realize that but you have to have a mentor. You have to have people in your corner to have this self-realization of what you have. And I think once once you find that, once they realize that, then we can start teaching them. Like, "Okay, look, go back and reflect on everything that's happened to you." Those deepest wounds

will bring about your greatest purpose and this is waiting to be found. So I think it's giving them the framework, helping them find the mentors, helping them with if it's education, reinvent themselves, retransishing or retransform their life and helping with that transition process. Like, that is,

I think that's true power. Sure. And that's what I want to give back to everybody. It's funny,

as some folks would challenge you and be like, "Oh, this is some new age, woo, stuff like, no, no, no, you are a man of data of science." Like, talk about some of the statistics and where this data download comes from, it's not? It is divine. Sure. But a lot of it is trained, militarized, weaponized, calculated, perfected. Yeah, I mean, well, for thousands of years we've gone back to ancient Greek mythology, Native Americans, and we looked at how warriors actually

come back into society. So we have tons of literature and data right there in front of us. But what we've seen now for the last 20 years is these statistics are but by not finishing the hero's journey, your veterans are left in silence. Yep. And that's the worst part. Because if they don't want to talk out and they've compartmentalized, they're going to go down the spiral of alcohol drugs. Yep. God forbid it's suicide. Yeah.

But when you look at transitioning veterans into a job, if they don't know what they want,

40 percent are going to leave within the first year, 80 percent by the second year. I mean,

I worked with someone with the book, Dr. Josh Cotton. He said, God, if we could just take these 200,000, 250,000 transitioning veterans and train them correctly to go into the job market. What would that do to GDP? It's incredible. It's an incredible workforce. So yeah.

We have to do more as a society.

statistic and then like you can grab that. I don't want to drop AI now, but I almost feel like you can drop all that data, download it into a computer that's now, learn to compute itself. But also now, help and weaponize these veterans and give them the opportunity, the inspiration that Gustavo, let's note, dude, you are now designed for operations. You know, you are now have civilians are paying hundreds of thousands of dollars

to the Gary Vs and the dude with this and that all these characters, including my own mentor and boss. And these folks are really inspiring their tribes and these folks that are coming from these literally war zones don't understand that their voice and spirit is more important than ever and they can collect their tribe. They can have their personal ministries. And they have to control their own narrative. Yes, they absolutely have to control it. And getting

them to understand that that you have the choice now. Yep. No one in the military is telling you what to do. You can have this choice, but we also, we spent a lot of time with Command Sergeant Major Tom Satelli who commanded Delta Force, but he was also in Mogadishu as a new guy when he was attached to Delta. And he said perfectly, he's like, Rob, like, they spend millions of dollars training at us to perform at the highest levels to do this,

but they don't do anything to get us out. Wow. They don't train us to get out.

So we're left our own devices. That's what we have 40,000 VSOs out there helping veterans because

this system cannot help all of us. So we have just a year to jump on this other political train. This is like, oh, I can tell you one little exit strategy that wasn't quite quite the American way, but it was a quick necessary way. Sure. Let's talk about something necessary evils. Someone that understands frequencies and energies and how the world really is kind of photoned together, what the hell is going on out there, man? Like, I lived in Switzerland for a

moment. I lived in Eastern European. People would always ask me, so I was an American, isn't it?

Well, I'm a community carot one. So my perspective is a little different being born as raised in Miami. But I understand the American spirit, who raw? I love it, man. I know. Get it. A thousand percent. I'm more Elvis Presley than Beatles. Have you catch my meaning? It would folks ask me, so what's going on with the Americans? I'm like, dude, we are the finest sharpest knife in the drawer, and we've got nothing to cut. So we've turned into a bunch of assholes. Now we're just like,

that, that, that, that, that, and like, we are the best of the best. And nothing is challenging us. Not even the theatrical theater that happens close doors with these quote unquote lears. As someone that has served and as someone that has passionate about what you do day to day, what the heck is going on out there? What do you think is going on out there? And why is it happening? So I, I think what was what you're seeing out there in this,

you know, just my opinions, is look, I think we lost our way a little bit in the military past few years. People need to understand there is a necessary evil to what we do.

Oh, yeah. If there is enough evil in the world, you have to fear what comes off that helicopter

tonight. You have to fear that. And we are very good at that. But we also have to have a balance of diplomacy. We do. And I, I think we're still trying to find our way in this ever-changing world, or every, there's something new happens almost every day. There's a new complexity. Like, how do we get ahead of this or how do we deal with this, you know, prepare for that?

It's, um, being posture and always in that ready state. Yes, sir. But we have to do it with the

sonness of being diplomats. And I think we're, we pre-stuggle at times. We do that. Which is why it's so much important to have more more CEOs and entrepreneurs with this specific mindset and skill set, but militarize them and weaponize them in the corporate world, especially as they're getting older, especially as they're being pulled out from these dangerous zones. Now, we need them in more dangerous zones in offices, in political positions, to really inspire

the next generation that is speaking twice as fast, that is watching two pieces of content at the same time in three different devices. This whole entire generation that's coming into. It's quite brilliant, but also quite scary. What do you, it's, we're entering to 2026. What do you think 2030 looks like? 2030, um, Sagro Warfare is going to be off the charts. Yeah. But what we're

doing, like, trillions of dollars of loss now, what is going to be then? Yes, sir. Security is always

going to matter. Yep. And you, like, the more and more, we progress as a society, I hate to say this, but the more and more people are going to be left behind. Oh, yeah. That's biblical. That's biblical. That division, that, that, that, everything. People are going to want more and more of that. So we have to

remain posture to go. You have to fear or it comes off that helicopter. But I would say, and this

is some of the impetus of the company's service is taking decades of experience. If not a hundred

Years of experience in these organizations and coming back and fixing the com...

with the states in the federal government and bringing this tremendous experience and tradecraft down into this level to help people prepare for all these challenges. Oh, yeah. It's coming. You know, Microsoft is reopening nuclear power plants, the power there, AI farms, Google is launching

space crafts to use solar energy, the power there, AI farms. All that amazing sci-fi tech is

bottled down through one pipe and that's security. And that's where you come in. That's where you are designed for the future. My friend, talk about and preach the dangers of the future and how

we're here to remedy that. I think we, we built the plane in flight. We had no idea we'd be

posturing ourselves like a 20, 30, 20, 31 with security. But we listened to the people around us. We listened to the, the giants, the shoulders we were standing on and saying like, you guys have something unique. If you can posture and you can go and attack these tomorrow threats and these complexities and rewrite yesterday's playbook, like you guys have something here. So we are posturing for working with our communities in some of the greatest work we do purposeful is working with schools.

Is that next generation? Yeah. Giving them security around them, you know, controlling the cyber or being able to look online and an open forum and recognize a threat and get there before it happens. Like it sounds a little bit minority report, but that's from the fun learning in AI. That's where it's going. It's giving us a cognitive basis and a trend line of what people will be doing. So it's, I think the real struggle we're going to have is with all technists continue with all

technologies and everything is privacy, right? We're always going to have that. Understanding truly

understanding the threats around us and what they are. I think a lot of people walk through the

world and they don't understand that. And part of this can be education. Like what is it really like out there? What am I raising my kids? What kind of world are we living in today? And there are some people that just want your standard of living. It's that simple. It's almost like the thing biting its own tail, though, where it's like you ascend into new tack and you're like security, cyber security, protect yourself and you're almost like kind of in doctoring folks and they're like,

does it even get brighter? I feel like it just gets scarier as we go down this rabbit hole of technology. No, it will. If veterans and everybody, they step up. Yeah, to do the right thing. And we really write the concert in the architecture for what this is supposed to be correctly. It will end. Yeah. Technology has reached a point where the firearm to firearm will happen with computers and the human souls are sitting back, solving the real problem. I don't get along.

Yeah. How to talk to each other? Have a conversation. You're a different color. So am I. But we're still divine beings. And we got each other's back here. Let the robots do whatever they got to do because I kind of want that state. You want that state. No problem, kid. We'll do it. But as humans, let's have a conversation while the machines machine and the other energy is energized. Gosh,

what an amazing conversation my friend. What an amazing operations CEO, quality quality guest, my friend.

How can people learn more about you? Find out more about you and continue your journey. Your heroes journey. Yeah, please go to the website and servicegroup.com. We'd love to entertain any questions you have. We'd love to work with you along your journey wherever it is in the security, this spectrum of security. I could be found on Instagram. Yeah. I mean, please reach out to us. We'd love to sit down. Have a conversation. We'd love to show you this journey. We'd love to show

you what amazing human capital we have and how we can solve your complex problems. There it is. That's the thing I was hoping you would say, human capital. Almost feel like that's a side-line question. It almost sounds almost scary. But I get it. Can you talk why you say that so funny? Human capital. I think as entrepreneurs and my co-founder and really the original founder of the company, he had this vision of true north. And every time you bring

people in the organization, they might not quiet align with true north. And you got to have find realignment. But if you find all the right people and you give that space to build trust, you're building that high-to-high trust team, what comes out of that is just amazing human capital. And people that can really work together to solve any problem. And that's leadership.

That's what we created at service group. It's fascinating to hear all of this great gospel. Let's

call it entrepreneurial gospel. I spent a decade in the Bay Area and I was in the grits with all these startups and I was at Patreon. Really far how ways of mentoring and now it's come full circle. It's been almost two decades. I'm like holy shit man. Right here you are preaching what I heard way back in the bay. I'm like, "What? Really? This is the way it's done here. I haven't California." And then that's what I realized. Ah, that's why California is a good old California.

It's finally a reach across the globe and it's reached to a point where it'd ...

like yourself with your service can finally hear this and take it. Effencereous. Because this has

been around us way beyond what we've been on this planet. And now we're finally catching up to the

code. And we've been yelling at people going, "Listen to this, watch this, star wars that,

star trek this and the final finesse. It's human doing the thing." And I think, well, it's honestly

the opportunity that you've given us through a like operational CO to sit here and say, "Okay,

there was a strategy. It hurt all these things." And we have this team and veterans are

phenomenally executionally. Yeah. Let us come execute. And that's it. Those three things will

make a great organization on top of those great ideas that originated. Rob. Pleasure to serve my friend. It was such a great honor to have you. Thank you so much. Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday. Go out there and enjoy Miami for God's sake. This is Rob. I'm Ray. And we are Inside Success.
