and bears the annual eastern reports from Tel Aviv."

Israel's military says it's sending soldiers into Lebanon to stand guard along the border. And Israel's striking has bullet targets while his bullet fires at northern Israel, so far it's low-grade warfare. Iran Israel's military struck Iran's intelligence ministry and state broadcaster, and says it's now focusing on targeting Iran's missiles and missile launchers.

Iranian missile strikes on Israel have significantly decreased. Israel says Iran may also be rationing munitions gearing up for a long war. An official on the region who spoke on condition of anonymity tells NPR, Israel thinks it can achieve its war goals in two weeks total.

House Speaker Mike Johnson says Israel was concerned about Iran's weapons build-up.

"If Israel fired upon Iran, it took action against Iran to take out the missiles, then they would have immediately retaliated against U.S. personnel and assets. We have troops in harm's way, and we have many Americans in the region, and that was a great concern." Virginia Senator Mark Warner is the ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee.

"There was no imminent threat to the United States of America by the Iranians. There was a threat to Israel, and if we equate a threat to Israel is the equivalent of an imminent threat to the United States, then we are in uncharted territory." Trump administration officials will brief both houses of Congress about the war later this afternoon.

Democrats face long odds in regaining a majority in the U.S. Senate, but both North Carolina

and Texas are states the party is eyeing as potential pickups later this fall. Congresswoman Jasmine Crocket and James Telerico are vying for the Democratic nomination. In North Carolina, there are contests for an open-sea currently held by Tom Tillis, who

The state's former Governor Democrat Ray Cooper is the front runner for the Democratic ticket, and former RNC chair Michael Wattley is favored to win the Republican nomination. Ashley Lopez and PR news. "Foters in Arkansas are also holding primary elections today.

This is NPR." The House over-site committee has released videos of the depositions of former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. They testified separately to the committee last week, as part of the panel's investigation into the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and PR Sage Miller has more.

The Clinton's provided hours of closed-door testimony. Bill Clinton was once friends with Epstein and appears numerous times in the Epstein files. The Clinton's initially faussepina from the Republican-controlled committee, but ultimately agreed to the interviews after they were threatened with contempt of Congress. Both have denied any wrongdoing.

Hillary Clinton told reporters she never recalls meeting Epstein and has no information on his

criminal activities. In his opening statement released online, Bill Clinton said he saw nothing and did nothing wrong. The transcripts of their deposition are not yet available. That's because the Clinton's attorneys must approve them before they are released to the public.

And PR is currently reviewing the videos, Sage Miller and PR news. The federal appeals court says President Trump cannot delay the process to provide refunds for his tariffs. Some of his tariffs have been overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court. Trump wanted to slow down the refund process for 90 days, but the appeals court rejected

that. The U.S. has put sanctions on the government of Rwanda. The Trump administration claims Rwanda is backing the M-23 rebel group in neighboring Congo, and it says that violates the U.S. mediated peace deal Rwanda rejects the accusation. I'm Corva Coleman, NPR News.
