Turkey is calling for all parties in the mid-East War to refrain from escalating the conflict. This comes after NATO air defenses, shot down an Iranian missile headed for Turkey. for her in Tuesday's primaries. As your Democratic nominee, it's on me to ensure you feel welcomed in, represented by, and proud of this campaign.
“The move is important because in order for Democrats to win the statewide race in Texas,”
they'll need all the votes they can get. The last time a Democrat won a statewide race in the Lone Star State was 1994. While not the best indicator, Democratic turnout in the primary race, outpacing Republicans, shows that there may be a chance to break the streak. If the party's voters can unify around the Austin area state representative.

Rhode Island's Attorney General has released a report that says dozens of Catholic priests sexually abused hundreds of children over decades. Rhode Island authorities alleged the priests were protected by bishops and say the concern was for the Catholic Church's reputation. Officials with the diocese of Providence acknowledge the horror of child abuse, church officials
say the report also shows how the church shared records and information with the state of Rhode Island. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s expected to make an announcement this morning on a new initiative. It would revamp nutrition education at the nation's medical schools.
NPR's Marigadoy reports experts have lamented doctors do not get enough instruction on the topic. The national academies of sciences have long recommended that medical schools provide at least 25 hours of nutrition education. But studies have found most med schools fall short of this standard.
According to senior health and human services officials, 52 medical schools have voluntarily agreed to add 40 hours of nutrition training to their curriculum starting in the fall. Medical schools will choose from 71 suggested topics such as how food contribute to inflammation and chronic disease. Most described the initiative as an effort to find common ground with the medical community,
who strongly disagree with Kennedy's positions on other issues, like vaccines. Marigadoy and Pianias The measles outbreak in South Carolina is close to 1,000 cases. State officials say some staff from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will come to South Carolina next week to help.
