President Trump now says anything short of unconditional surrender by Iran would be unacceptable.
“This is the U.S. Israeli War on Iran is now in its seventh day.”
He made the comment on social media today, Iran though has shown no interest in doing that. And foreign minister of Asgard, he says, "Despite comments from Trump that Iran asked for talks, it's not true." We are not asking for a ceasefire. And we don't see any reason why we should negotiate with the U.S., when we negotiate with
them twice, and every time they attack us, they meet enough negotiations. So there is no request for a ceasefire by us, and there is no request for the negotiation with the U.S. from us.
Speaking there to NBC News, Tom Yamas.
President Trump Trump meanwhile will attend a dignified transfer of six Americans killed in connection with the war in Iran, and here's Franco Ordonia's reports on the solemn

As Enviro Cheryl Corley reports, it was a mix of joyful music and tributes. At moments, it was like a rousing church service. "We in the home of the Reverend Jesse Little Jackson's singer, we in the home of gospel music,
the young man, if we have a lit church real quick, come on, put your hands together." Religious leaders, activists, and politicians offering tribute to Jackson, including three former presidents Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, and Barack Obama, who said Jesse Jackson, with all of his skills, could have led a much different and more lucrative life if he had wanted. The controversial top vaccine regulator for the Food and Drug Administration is leaving at the end of April. Director Vinay Prasad has been criticized for questioning the safety of COVID vaccines, making it more difficult for vaccine manufacturers to get approval for new vaccines, and for moves that limit access to existing vaccines that have been shown to be safe and effective.
It was also responsible for a recent decision to reject a new flu vaccine created by the biotech company Moderna that decision was later reversed. Daylight saving can mess with one sleep schedule temporarily, but a new report suggests that teenagers may be facing a more permanent sleep problem. Error Daniel has more.
Researchers analyzed a national survey of tens of thousands of American students, roughly three out of four adolescents across all demographics reported insufficient sleep in 2023, since 2007, that's less than eight hours per night, and the rise didn't appear to depend on certain risk behaviors, like substance use or screen time. Tanner Blummersbock is a psychiatrist at the University of Wisconsin.
“Sleep plays a crucial role in adolescent brain development.”
It's important for emotional regulation and teenagers. To help, teens might try adopting a consistent sleep schedule, dimming the lights before bed, and sleeping in a place that's cool, dark, and quiet. For NPR News, I'm Ari Daniel.
