The US and Israel have been carrying out what are being called the heaviest strikes on
“Iran since the war started more than a week ago.”
Iran is retaliating firing missiles and launching drones at targets across the region, including oil infrastructure and Saudi Arabia." MPR's Greg Myri on where things stand. " Reports out of Iran, again, cite large explosions in and around the capital, Tehran. We don't have specifics, but the US has been hitting an average of 500 or so targets
in Iran every day. For its part, Iran carried out more air strikes in Israel, and several Gulf countries. There were reports of deaths and injuries to civilians. The Pentagon says 140 US troops have been wounded. Most are minor injuries, but eight are severely injured.
And as we've reported previously, seven service members have been killed."

Harris carried the Democratic vote in the district and received the most votes of any candidate in the race, so far, with votes still being counted. 14th District Voter, David McKenzie, said she voted for Harris because she thought he was
a Democrat most likely to garner support. "I wanted to make sure that there was enough support to force the run-off."
Mueller, a district attorney from North Georgia, received the second most amount of vote so
far.

He promised voters he would be "a warrior for North West Georgia in support Trump's agenda in Congress." For NPR News, I'm Sarah Callis, in Georgia. "Two Arizona now where federal lawmakers are voicing concerns over two proposed ice detention centers in the state.
From Arizona Public Media and Tucson, Angela Jephasey has more." Ice has proposed establishing a detention facility in the southern Arizona town of Morana. Standing near the site, Congresswoman Adalita Grajalva accused the Department of Homeland Security of ignoring community members' concerns over the center.
"They are opening up these facilities in our backyard. With zero transparency, zero accountability, and zero community input. At the same time, they are neglecting care for the people who are trapped inside." To hours north of Morana, ice is moving to convert a warehouse into a separate detention center in the city of surprise.

The World Famous Restaurant, Noma has lost two major sponsors of upcoming events in Los Angeles, starting with a dinner Wednesday night. And Piersman Delito Barco reports on abuse allegations by the restaurant's head chef. Chef René Rizepi founded Noma in Denmark over the years his innovative cuisine earned three Michelin stars.
Noma was set to begin 16 weeks of pop-up dinners in Los Angeles at $1,500 a person. The menu was to feature food foraged from Southern California. But this week, the New York Times resurfaced allegations that, for years, Rizepi had shamed, ridiculed, and physically attacked his staff.
