Right-line watch, which surveys more than 500 U.S. scholars, finds that through tactics
such as a massing executive power and attacking the media, Trump has pushed the U.S. system to a point nearly mid-way between liberal democracy and dictatorship. Dartmouth-Brent and Naihan co-directs the survey. "I would say the goal is to govern as an authoritarian." Another report out by Sweden's V-Demonstitute found America's democracy ranking plunged
