"Worters are Tom Holman says he's meeting today with the heads of the Transportation

Security Administration and Immigration and Customs Enforcement to discuss how ice officers

can assist TSA agents at airports starting tomorrow. Lines are long since hundreds of agents have quit because they haven't been paid in weeks. Charizard Tom Holman says the ice officers won't do TSA tasks such as screening but will assist in other ways." "I don't see an ISA agent looking at an X-ray machine because we're not trained in that.

There are certain parts of security that TSA is doing that. We can move them off those jobs and put them in the specialized jobs, help move those lines." He was interviewed on CNN. The president is threatening to obliterate Iranian power plants if that country doesn't

The report suggests multiple tankers carrying Russian fuel are on route to Cuba.

The first two to arrive Monday.

Mexico has also indicated it is trying to find ways to resume selling oil to Cuba after stopping early this year due to U.S. pressure. The NPR news I'm Katie Silver and Mexico City. This is NPR news. Hundreds of demonstrators rallied into Alaska's Syria today, their protesting efforts to restrict

the sale and consumption of alcohol. They fear Syria's new Islamist government may threaten long-held secular freedoms. The interim government has been under pressure from hardliners to impose more conservative religious values in Syria. The rally attracted residents more range of religious sex.

One told the Associated Press this is not about whether we want to drink alcohol. This is about personal freedom. Los Angeles Lakers superstar Lebron James has said another career NBA record. Steve Futterman reports it came in Florida last night as the Lakers beat the Orlando Magic.
