President Trump is indicating that a second round of talks with Iran may be in the works.

He told the New York Post Tuesday that press talks could take place in the next couple of days.

And his Lama bought after breaking down over the weekend. Dana Stroll is the director of research at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. >> Both sides need to be prepared to have some concessions and some flexibility. The Iranians need some economic relief right now. And the United States needs to demonstrate that the straight-of-war move is open.

but that it's a problem that will not be solved overnight.

Iranian state media also say that hundreds of people have been arrested in Iran for allegedly sharing information with international media during the war, or with enemy forces to identify targets. And in the United Arab Emirates' capital of Abu Dhabi alone, police say they arrested 375 people during the war on suspicion of filming attacks that could harm national security.

People were also detained in Bahrain and several commentators were fired in Qatar.

A Abu Trawi and Pier News Dubai California Democrat Eric Smallwell has formally resigned from Congress over allegations of sexual assault and misconduct from multiple women.

They first shared their experiences with CNN and the San Francisco Chronicle.

And Piersia is not independently verified the accusations in Smallwell has publicly denied them. But as Imperial Saladin Moore reports, another woman has now come forward with new sexual assault allegations. Speaking at a press conference in Beverly Hills, Lana Drew says Congressmen Swallwell drugged her drink and then sexually assaulted her back in 2018. While he was choking me, I lost consciousness. And I thought I died.

Drew says at the time she was working as a model, but also had an interest in local politics. She says she delayed taking action against Swallwell out of fear, but now says she plans to make a report to law enforcement with her attorneys. Swallwell has not responded to this latest allegation with any public comment. Elena Moore and Pier News. Swallwell's letter of resignation, as well as Texas Republican Tony Gonzalez's resignation letter.

A red in the House chamber Tuesday, Gonzalez has acknowledged an affair with a former staffer who later died by suicide. This is in PR News. The Justice Department is asking a federal appeals court to throw out the seditious conspiracy convictions for the leaders of the proud boys and oath keepers extremist groups, including oath keepers founder Stuart Rhodes. Last year President Trump commuted the prison sentences of several of the group's leaders as part of his act of clemency for all 1500 plus defendants charged in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol Tuesday's Justice Department request goes a step further.

The U.S. has now signed global health agreements with 30 other countries worth about 21 billion dollars.

And Piers Gabriella Manuel reports this is all part of the Trump administration's effort to revamp for an aid. The U.S. is hammering out five year aid agreements directly with governments in low and middle income countries. This is instead of working through non-profits and big international organizations. Jeremy Lewin is helping roll out the new strategy at the State Department. He says this is encouraging self-reliance for the recipient countries. They actually know how to take care of their own populations pretty well.

When this strategy was first announced, the administration had said the agreements would be up and running this month in April. But things are behind schedule. Lewin says September 30 is the new goal. Gabriella Manuel and PR News. Asian shares are mostly higher after President Trump said the U.S. and Iran may try again to bring it into the war. Trump said talks could resume in Pakistan in the next couple of days, oil prices have risen slightly, but remain below 96 dollars a barrel. I'm Giles Snyder in PR News.
