Turkish officials say three students and a teacher were killed in a shooting at a middle school in Central Turkey. Twenty people were injured. Terry Baskar and reports on the shooting a day after another school shooting in South Eastern Turkey. The shooter opened fire at the Icerchhollek Middle School, in the eastern city of Karama Murash. This is a city that was devastated by two major earthquakes in 2023. District governor
Mukherim Undalair told reporters the shooter was a student in the eighth grade, who used five guns. They belonged to his father, who is a former police officer. According to Undalair, the student also shot himself during the attack, and died. A day earlier, in the nearby Southeastern province of Shenli, Irfa, a former student to open fire at a vocational high school, in during 16, before taking his own life.
