U.S. military will attack any boats putting new minds in the straight of Hormuz.

the straight." As Emperors Daniel Kurtz-Lavin reports, Trump's threat came as U.S. Iran peace talks remain in limbo. Trump and a social media post wrote he has ordered the U.S. Navy to, in his words, "Shoot and kill any boat putting minds in the waters of the straight of Hormuz.
He added he is ordering U.S. mine clearing activity in the straight to be tripled. The new announcements come after Trump on Tuesday extended the ceasefire with Iran indefinitely hours before it was set to expire. Iran has said it would not return to negotiations unless the United States lifted its naval blockade on Iranian ports.
The U.S. military says it has seized a tanker transporting oil away from Iran. Iran this week attacked three commercial ships in the straight, seizing two of them. Another Lebanese journalist was killed yesterday by an Israeli air strike, and Pierre's Kat Lonstor reports from Beirut. Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil and a colleague took refuge in a house in southern Lebanon. After a vehicle near them was targeted by an Israeli air strike and Israeli strike, then hit the house they were sheltering in.
Lebanese medics said they were able to rescue the other injured journalist, but then came under Israeli gunfire and had to retreat. Khalil died under the rubble. The European Union has formally approved a $106 billion loan package to Ukraine.
It will help Ukraine pay its bills and purchase military equipment to fight the Russian full-scale invasion. The European decision came after Hungary lifted its veto. Hungary's Prime Minister was defeated in his re-election bid last week. This also comes as Ukraine freed the flow of Russian oil to Europe.
The Russian oil is in a pipeline that crosses Ukraine. Michael Tilsen Thomas has died. The conductor in pianist was the music director at the San Francisco Symphony from 1995 to 2020. It made him the orchestra's longest serving director, Jeff London reports on his legacy.
Michael Tilsen Thomas was known for his spontaneous theatrical conducting style, whether it was American music or mallur. The Southern California native was a musical prodigy conducting the Boston Symphony Orchestra in his 20s. He led the San Francisco Symphony for 25 years, but he considered the establishment of the
new world symphony his biggest achievement. Over a thousand of its alumni performing orchestras around the world. Tilsen Thomas said he lived by a kind of musical hippocratic oath.
