President Trump is praising what he calls early signs of success from a new tentative agreement with Iran." Speaking at Joint Base Andrews last night, Trump pointed to increase shipping traffic
“through the straight of Hormuz, a key waterway for global oil trade.”
"The ships are flowing out of the Hormuz straight, like nobody's ever seen before, actually. There were a lot of 700 of them in their pouring out, the oil is all over the place." The agreement signed this week where he opened the straight and gives Washington and Tehran as 60-day window for further negotiations, but those talks are on hold as diplomats try to preserve a fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.
The two sides agreed to a pause and heavy fighting in southern Lebanon, but there have been reports of continued violence overnight. NPR's Jackie Northham Report Secretary of State Marco Rubio says the two sides will meet for a fifth round of talks in Washington D.C. next week. "Secretary Rubio held a phone call with Lebanese President Joseph Ayun during which he reiterated the need to disarm the Iranian-backed militant group Hezbollah and re-establish control over
all Lebanese territory. That's according to a State Department readout of the conversation. Hezbollah has in the past rejected any peace deal between Israel and the government of Lebanon.
“Rubio also stressed that bilateral negotiations between Lebanon and Israel represent the”
only feasible path to ending recurrence cycles of violence. Meanwhile, Israel and Hezbollah have agreed to a ceasefire after intense fighting threatened to derail fragile peace talks between the U.S. and Iran. Jackie Northham NPR News Photers head to the polls in Newtown next week for primary elections, several candidates

The Democratic primary next week, Bitt's McAdams, who some delegates view as two conservative, against three more liberal Democrats. None of whom is Mormon.
“Matthew Bowman is a chair of Mormon studies at Claremont Graduate University.”
Someone would be interested to see how that turns out, and if someone who has never been
LDS can actually win as a Democrat, which is a doubly hard thing to do in Utah, I've been both of those at the same time. To that, that'll be, I can think of an instrument carving out how Utah politics might change over the next couple of generations. Bowman says that the city's demographics are changing.
That, and a blue-leaning congressional district, have changed the way the city views politics. Muhammad Javid and B.R. News. This is NPR. One person is dead and nearly 90 others were injured after two passenger trains collided near Bedford, north of London yesterday.

It was an easy victory for Brazil, with goals by star strikers, Michael Scunia, and Venice's junior.
Haiti qualified for the World Cup for the first time in over 50 years, but with this latest
loss, they'll become the first team to be cut out. Brazil has won more World Cup than any country in history, but the team's performance in the 2020-6 championship has so far been critiqued as lackluster. Friday's game gave fans hope that things are improving. Next off, they'll face against Scotland.
