The U.S. has launched another round of strikes against Iran for the 9th consecutive
night. Three U.S. service members have been killed since Friday, according to Central Command, as the fighting between the U.S. and Iran continues to escalate and the ceasefire talks break down. As NPR's Lydia Calitri reports while some administration officials say the war effort should
continue, others are voicing concerns." Energy Secretary Chris Wright told ABC's this week that while the service members deaths are a tragic loss for the country, the administration's mission for the war should continue.
“The President's mission is essential for peace in the Middle East and peace in the world,”
and that is to prevent Iran from achieving nuclear weapons, and to degrade their ability to terrorize their neighbors and the world and global commerce. The Democratic Senator Mark Warner is calling President Trump's decision to go to war with Iran a disaster. "It has been a disaster militarily.
It has been a disaster in terms of how we're viewed around the world. It has been a disaster to our friends and the allies who question whether we will keep our promises." At least 17 U.S. service members have died since the war began in February. Lydia Calitri and PR news.
Hundreds rallied this afternoon in Houston calling for justice in the killing of Lorenzo Selgato Arraho, the man shot and killed by Ice Agents nearly two weeks ago. Houston Public Media's Bianca Seward reports.

enforcement operations in Houston. Mariella Rivera said she came today because she feels helpless. "I'm hoping that when they see this, they think this is not something that us as Americans, the democracy won't. This isn't what we want."

Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, welcome their fourth child Sunday, Alec Niel Vance, who joins three siblings who are ages 9, 6 and 4.
