The U.S. military says another U.S. service member has died after escalated fighting with Iran. And Piersandoli Stuster has more."
“U.S. Central Command says an American service member was killed in action Saturday in Northern”
Iraq. The service member was killed in a controlled detonation of an unexploded weapon from a down Iranian drone. Sincam also says another U.S. service member was injured and is being treated for a minor injury.
This is the third U.S. service member killed since Friday when two American service
members were killed during an Iranian attack in Jordan. For others were medically evacuated but have been discharged from Jadini in hospitals. U.S. Central Command also says unidentified remains were found at the site of the attack in Jordan and are being examined. Sondylice Duster and PR News.
Social media influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate have been arrested by U.S. Marshals in Miami. They're facing rape and sex trafficking charges in the U.K. And Piersland-Fraier reports, British prosecutors are seeking their extradition.

of rape. Three counts related to trafficking, three of assault and 19 for pornography. Tristan Tate faces an additional count of sexual assault, two of rape, and three related to trafficking. This is in connection with offenses to four additional victims between 2010 and 2017.
The Tate brothers are kickboxers-turned social media stars and are dual British-American citizens. They'll ready face 21 previous charges and have denied any wrongdoing. British prosecutors confirm the Tates have been arrested by U.S. Marshals and await extradition to the U.K.
Lauren Fryer and PR News London. One of the goals of President Trump's speech on election security last week was to create support for the SAVE America Act. And Piersmire Lyerson reports it's a bill that would change the way U.S. elections are run. The SAVE Act would, among other things, require a passport or birth certificate to register
to vote, and it would curtail mail in voting. President Trump says it will help Republicans. "If we terminate the filibuster as we should do, and immediately vote for the SAVE America Act, then we will not lose an election for a hundred years." Polls show a majority of Americans approve a requiring photo ID to vote, but they don't
want to get rid of mail-in voting, which is popular in many red states. Republican leaders in the Senate have told the President they don't have the votes to pass the bill, and are not willing to end the filibuster. And some Republicans say they'd rather the President tell voters how he will solve problems
“more important to them this year, such as high prices for gas, food, and housing.”

Many of those countries are already facing shortfalls in education funding due to aid cuts by the United States and other wealthy nations, as in PR's Fatmatonis reports. The UN's culture and education agency says low investment in education is keeping countries trapped, stalling their economic growth. For the seventh year in a row, the out-of-school population in 113 low-in-middle income
countries has risen, reaching 273 million in 2024.
Some countries like Afghanistan, Mali and Niger have lost more than 40% of education assistance over the past three years due to global aid cuts. It's not all bad news. In Qatar, the report says school dropouts have declined significantly after the government made schooling free and compulsory.
The UN says more countries need to make policy changes to prioritize education, Fatmatonis and PR News. At the British Open, Ryan Fox is the first New Zealander since 1963 to win the British Open. That's one of golf's most prestigious tournaments.
