US Central Command says the US military started a new round of air strikes tonight on Iran for the ninth night in a row.
“Meanwhile the US military says another service member has died after escalated fighting”
with Iran, and if you're a shuntily stuster, has more." US Central Command says an American service member was killed in action Saturday and Northern Iraq. The service member was killed in a controlled detonation of an unexploded weapon from a down to Iranian drone.
St. Com also says another US service member was injured and is being treated for a minor injury.
This is the third US service member killed since Friday when two American service members
were killed during an Iranian attack in Jordan. For others were medically evacuated but have been discharged from Jordanian hospitals. US Central Command also says unidentified remains were found at the site of the attack in Jordan and are being examined.
