U.S. Central Command says the military started a new round of air strike Sunday night
“against Iran for the ninth night in a row.”
Meanwhile, the U.S. military says another service member has died after the escalating of fighting with that country, and P.R.'s shandali stuster reports. U.S. Central Command says an American service member was killed in action Saturday in northern Iraq. The service member was killed in a controlled detonation of an unexploded weapon from
a down to Ronnie and drone. St. Com also says another U.S. service member was injured and is being treated for a minor injury.
This is the third U.S. service member killed since Friday when two American service members
were killed during an Iranian attack in Jordan. Four others were medically evacuated but had been discharged from Jordanian hospitals. U.S. Central Command also says unidentified remains were found at the site of the attack in Jordan and are being examined. Sondalis Duster and P.R. News.

Ukraine need authority say it is one of the largest bombardments by Russia since the beginning of the war more than four years ago, and P.R.'s Charles Mayans reports. In a statement, Russia's Defense Ministry said its forces carried out precision missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian defense and logistics centers in Kiev, as well as the Odessa region on the Black Sea.
Yet several of the Russian missile struck residential buildings and businesses, even the underground passage near a metro station in Kiev often used as a civilian bomb shelter. The strikes came a day after Ukraine launched its own drone attacks on two warehouses belonging to wild berries. That's Russia's version of Amazon, killing eight workers and injuring dozens more.
Ukraine is justified the attacks saying the warehouses stored parts for Russian military drones, a claim in P.R. has not independently verified. Charles Mayans and P.R. News. Moscow.

U.S. election security and P.R.s. Windsor-Johnston reports. Trump released declassifying documents that he says shows the nation's election system is vulnerable, but offered no new evidence that fraudulent votes were cast. Real Sterling is the Chief Operating Officer for the Georgia Secretary of State's office. He tells NPR that it's extremely rare that non-citizens vote in U.S. elections.
We look back as far as 1996.
That was the first time we found the non-citizens who cast A vote.
We found one that did it in the 2026 election so far. It is exceedingly small. Trump is also urging Congress to pass the Save America Act, which would require proof of citizenship to register to vote and a photo ID to cast a ballot. The bill does not have enough support in the Senate to pass.

Argentina Sunday to win the World Cup Championship in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Even though the score was one nail and Spain needed extra time to win, they kept Argentina from getting a shot on goal until the 115th minute of the contest. NPR's Becky Sullivan has more on the game and the World Cup Championship. Spain was the defensive powerhouse.
The winners of the 2024 European Championship, they stifled even the best offenses at this World Cup, beating multiple top 10 teams on the way to the final. Argentina had Leonardo Messi, and some kind of late game grit and magic that had kept them alive through close calls, one after the other, and the end, Argentina couldn't muster the magic this time.
Not only did Spain keep them from scoring a goal, Argentina didn't even manage a shot
until the second half of extra time, but it was too little too late.
It all Spain needed was the match winner from forward for on to race in the 166th minute. As for Argentina's 39-year-old superstar, the heart of their team Messi looked emotional as he took it all in during the award ceremony. Becky Sullivan and Piano is New York. Minister on Monday. Burnham was the only labor candidate to get enough votes from his fellow lawmakers to replace Kierstamer as leader of the governing party and as labor leader he becomes Prime Minister. He set to mate with King Charles at Buckingham Palace for the formal change of leadership. He will be the UK's seventh Prime Minister in 10 years.
