Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Lebanon's President Joseph Owan in Washington,
“Sunday, to discuss the framework agreement for the U.S.”
Brokerd Israel as Lebanon peace deal. And P.R.'s Lydia Colletri reports the meeting comes ahead of his meeting with President Trump Tuesday. Secretary Rubio commended President Allen's efforts to reclaim Lebanon's sovereignty. Islam has Bala and moved toward peace, according to a State Department statement.
Lebanon was pulled into the greater conflict with Israel and Iran when Hezbollah, who is backed by Iran, began striking targets in Israel and March. After weeks of negotiations in Washington, Israel and Lebanon reached a framework agreement last month that calls for the removal of Israeli troops from southern Lebanon on the condition Hezbollah disarms.
Owan has called for Israeli troops to withdraw from Lebanon, has Bala, which has not been
party to the talks, has rejected the agreement. Owan is scheduled to meet with President Trump on Tuesday to further discuss the next steps of the agreement.

for millions of people in multiple states in the Midwest and East Coast. This week is my own silver from station WUWM and Milwaukee reports the weather could move some of that smoke out. Fires continued to burn up an Ontario, Manitoba, and parts north and west in Canada. In places close to the wildfires like Minneapolis and Duluth, as well as the upper
peninsula of Michigan, are going to continue to deal with degraded air quality. But Andrew Quigley, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service says, due to a cold front with potential storms coming through the region, other areas will get some relief. If you're in Wisconsin, if you're in Illinois and Indiana, lower Michigan, we're going to see those air quality alerts start to improve here, particularly as we get into the
Tuesday Wednesday timeframe. In parts of Michigan and Minnesota with poor air quality, people with sensitivity should consider rescheduling their outdoor activities or wearing an N95.
