Three people were killed and four others injured, early Sunday evening during a shooting
“in Seattle, KC Martin from KUW in Seattle reports.”
The shooting happened close to the space needle at a large food festival with hundreds of people around.
At least one person is in critical condition.
A two-year-old is among the injured. Jessica Allison was there with her young daughter and husband. And I was like, that's fireworks, right? That's someone being silly and then we heard, and it was just a spray of bullets. And then we heard it again.
And then you hear papers screaming and we saw people running. And I just looked at him and I said, "Oh, my God." And he grabbed our daughter and he was gone. Seattle's mayor said in a statement that at least one person has been taken into custody and called the shooting an act of horrific violence.

But U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Mike Walts, says President Trump still has all options available to him.
Talks are ongoing. They're happening at every level. From the more technical aspect of it all the way to the highest levels, of course, within both the Iranian government and the U.S. government. Whilst we're speaking Sunday on NBC's Meet the Press, he also said without evidence that the Trump administration inherited a depleted supply of munitions. FBI Director Cash Patel is in China. He says the FBI is delivering in the fields of cybersecurity, combating money laundering efforts and violent crimes against children.
Yang Kaminsin Rumbi has her reports. Patel says the FBI has built relationships and found common ground to work with others. The statement comes as the U.S. and China agreed to more exchanges and co-operation on law enforcement following meetings between Patel and Beijing's minister of public security.

Patel said previously his trip to Beijing would serve to continue work on closing fentanyl precursor pipelines and expanding operations targeting scam centers. Patel has previously said the Chinese government were the biggest counterintelligence threat, facing the United States and called for the U.S. to work together with Beijing. In Spain, evacuations are now underway in the Valencia region, because of several wildfires burning there. Tens of thousands of people have been forced out of their homes both there and west of Madrid, and in France, a raging wildfire in the southwestern part of that country, led to the evacuation of 55,000 more people overnight

In Tennessee, Mariana Bakia of Member Station, WPLN reports that candidates might not face any consequences for breaking the law. Two Republican frontrunners for Congress have both used AI against the other. In one ad by former Congressman Van Hilary, he shows an AI-generated version of his opponent,
Johnny Garrett at a gay pride parade. Because woke DEI loving Johnny Garrett was to transition Tennessee from conservative to woke. The ad intentionally misrepresent Garrett, who has campaigned against DEI and LGBTQ rights. But Garrett also uses AI in his ad,
showing Hilary driving a campaign bus into a swamp. For either candidate to face consequences, they either have to sue each other, or a voter would have to formally file a complaint. So far neither has happened.
