Three people are dead and four others injured, following a shooting Sunday night in Seattle.
“The gun fire erupted about 6pm Pacific time during a food festival near the city's iconic”
space needle. Witnesses say the police response was almost a median, acting police chief Tyrone Davis explained why. Officers in the area in the immediate area when these gunshots went off. Officers responded and addressed one of the shooters.
That person gave up and was taken into custody. There was another person that we believe that was also involved that fled the scene.
Police are continuing their search for that second suspect and have not yet offered
a motive for the shooting. One of those injured was a two-year-old boy. A person suspected of driving a vehicle into a crowd at a pride event in Germany this weekend has died and appears Shandley's duster has more. Berlin police say a suspect who drove into a crowd celebrating LGBTQ rights and attacked
people with a machete was killed in a confrontation with authorities.

Berlin suburb on Saturday, Berlin police say they fired on Belut after he ran toward officers with a bladed weapon. He died at the scene. Police say Belut had come to the attention of authorities in the past because of numerous
previous crimes but did not give additional details.
At least one person is dead from the attack and several people are injured. Shandley's duster and PR news. Korea's new government says it wants peace with Israel but its foreign minister also has reiterated that Israel must withdraw from Syria territory that it has seized. And PR's Emily Fang has more on our story.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Syria's leader Ahmed Al Sharaz that he wanted a security agreement with Israel and that Damascus was "of waiting confrontation with Israel" as well as in Lebanon. He was president Trump has called on Syria to intervene in Lebanon against the militant group Hezbollah.

It was staunchly anti-Israel but now Syria's new leaders have indicated a willingness to talk with Israel. Yet political will in Syria to forge ties with Israel is now muted because Israel continues to occupy Syria and villages land and the peak of a strategic mountain. Territory it seized from Syria back in 2024.
Emily Fang and PR news tell of you. In France another 55,000 people have been evacuated from their homes in the southwestern part of that country because of an out-of-control wildfire. The flames are approaching the famous wine capital of Bordeaux more than 220,000 people have now been forced to leave their homes because of those fires.
And in Spain tens of thousands of people have been evacuated in the Valencia region as well as near Madrid because of wildfires there. You're listening to NPR news. Former Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernandez has returned to his home country to face corruption charges.
Hernandez had been extradited to the U.S. for drug trafficking and was sentenced to 45 years but he was released in December after being pardoned by President Trump. Christopher Nolan's film The Odyssey is playing on more than 25,000 screens worldwide it's a broad release that will get even larger when China, Japan and Korea open the film next month.
As NPR's Obama Dello reports audiences appear to crave the epic experience. Nolan Superfans are touting the virtues of seeing the Odyssey on one of the mere 41 screens 25 in the U.S. and another 16 abroad that are equipped to play 70 millimeter IMAX film the format the Odyssey was shot in. But there are plenty of what the industry calls premium large format auditoriums including
digital IMAX and conventional 70 millimeter. They represent about 1% of Odyssey's showings but because audiences are eager to see the film on the biggest possible screen that 1% is pulling in 20% of ticket sales. That means that after creating special cameras so that Nolan could shoot the Odyssey entirely on IMAX film which is a Hollywood first the company now has a fresh challenge it is racing
to fill construction orders for dozens of new IMAX auditoriums by Mundello NPR News. Slugging second baseman Jeff Cantalong with Center Fielder's Carlos Bill Tran and Andrew Jones were inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooper's Town, New York on Sunday, 122,000 fans turned out for the event along with 57 other Hall of Famers who joined the trio on stage.
