Two key Republicans senators on the judiciary committee are dropping their objections

after acting attorney general Todd Lange issued a written order rescinding a 1.8 billion
dollar anti-weaponization fund. John Cornen of Texas and Tom Tillis of North Carolina who were both in their final terms say the order also limits the scope of attacks immunity provision that's part of a broader government deal for President Trump reached earlier this year. While the move could clear the way for Blanche's nomination to head to the Senate
floor, it's unclear if Blanche has secured enough votes there for his confirmation. Some legal experts have also raised concern over the deal's validity since Trump and other defendants have not signed off on the order. "Clarity Solis and B.R. News."

three years. NPR Scott Horstley reports the news comes just days ahead of the closely watched July Employment Report. The survey of manufacturing managers shows factory activity continued to expand in July for the seventh month in a row, with both new orders and production picking up steam.
Susan Spence, who oversees the monthly survey for the Institute for Supply Management, says
that growth is finally translating into more factory jobs.
"The big headline that's month in my opinion employment. Finally into expansion, first time in 33 months." Government figures show U.S. factories have lost nearly 275,000 jobs during that period.
