The Senate Judiciary Committee is set to vote today on Todd Blanche's nomination for Attorney General.
“After he met key demands from two Republican senators,”
one over a controversial fund, the other on Trump's taxes. And Pierre's Ryan Lucas has more on what senators John Corn and Tom Tillis wanted. - Late Sunday, Blanche released two documents, one says it formally rescinds the order
that created the anti-weaponization fund, meaning the fund is dead. The other purports to clarify the scope of the tax immunity deal, including that it only applies retroactively
and only to Trump, two of his sons and the Trump organization. That said, legal experts say neither document that Blanche released is actually legally binding and they don't provide the sort of iron-clad guarantees
that they purport to, but they are enough for Corn and Tillis. - And Pierre's Ryan Lucas reporting, Michigan's closely watched Democratic Senate primary is today as Russ McNamara of Michigan Public Radio Network
reports.

support outside of Metropolitan Detroit, where she is largely stayed. She's been getting buying her folksy charm in tens of millions in super-packed money. - Oh my gosh, I'm right now love lettered Michigan
and I'm having a blast. So something must be going well. - Speaking in Detroit, the city's former health officer, progressive, Abdul Al-Sayed, has made getting money out of politics
one of the pillars of his campaign. - We need to believe that what we're fighting for is bigger than just one U.S. Senate seat. - It's the most expensive Democratic congressional primary in history.

For NPR news, I'm Russ McNamara in Detroit. - Authorities in Spokane, Washington, have arrested a man's suspected of arson in connection with one of three wildfires burning in and around the city. And Pierre's Kirk Seagle reports
the blazes have burned hundreds of homes and displaced more than 60,000 people. - The Spokane County Sheriff's Office has arrested a suspect in connection with its investigation into the old trails fire.
The most destructive wildfire of the three burning in and around this eastern Washington city. Authorities say 37-year-old Aaron Ferranacci, a convicted felon, was arrested at his home here without incident and is being charged
with arson in the first degree.
All three wildfires have displaced tens of thousands of people since last weekend and forced the evacuation of businesses, the VA hospital and other health care facilities. Firefighters are trying to take advantage
of a brief reprieve in the winds before another heat wave is forecast to arrive mid-week. Kirk Seagle and Pierre News, Spokane. - And this is in PR? - Federal regulators have given the green light
to Boeing's 737 MAX 7J. And Pierre's Joel Rose reports it's a big milestone for the aerospace giant after years of certification delays. - The Federal Aviation Administration is approved the smallest version of Boeing's best-selling 737 MAX line
after years of review. At one point, Boeing expected the 737 MAX 7 to be approved in 2022. But the company faced a more stringent certification process after two fatal crashes of the larger MAX 8 model.
Boeing also had to fix a design flaw with the MAX's engine de-icing system. It's the latest sign that regulators have growing confidence in Boeing, which has worked to recover from a crisis of safety and quality.
The plane maker is still seeking certification for the larger 737 MAX 10 model, which could come soon. Joel Rose and Pierre News, Washington. - The weekend rush of some 50 to 60,000 migrants from Morocco to the Spanish territory of Seuta,
which led to more than 70 dead, apparently began after false viral Instagram and other social media posts suggested the border was opening up.
