Iran says it will not negotiate directly with the United States unless the Trump administration
honors an agreement reached in June.

Speaking to reporters, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Al-Aqchi said that Iran was exchanging messages via intermediaries, but that he would not call the process an negotiation with the U.S.

The U.S. broke a 60-day ceasefire that was stipulated in the memorandum of understanding when it began a new wave of strikes on Iran in July. Al-Aqchi said that an agreement between Iran and Oman to open the Strait of Hormuz was in
its final stages, Iran has said that the opening of the Strait is contingent on conditions, including the U.S. going back to the June agreement.

President Trump is pushing back against Texas Governor-Greg Abbott's decision to pause approvals for new AI data centers, Natalie Weber of Houston Public Media reports. Speaking with punchball news this week, the President said data centers bring money to communities. He said Texas yet that they sort of against data centers think it's a mistake.
Abbott has issued a pause on new data center approvals until the state's energy agencies conduct an audit of their electricity and water use. This comes in contrast with Abbott's previous comments about data centers, calling Texas "the epicenter of AI development" in November. Data centers and other large energy consumers in Texas are requesting more than five times

“A massive wildfire in central Utah has burned tens of thousands of acres in Fish Lake”
National Forest. Fire spokesperson Diana Younger says crews continue to face dangerous conditions there. We're at 1111,306 acres with 24% containment. It's about two miles southwest of Kanoche, Utah, and we are still experiencing extreme fire behavior.

Emergency crews are making progress against three major wildfires burning around Spokane Washington. The old trails fire is now 43% contained, but some evacuation orders remain in effect. and different proportions to produce a range of mucus. NPRs are a Daniel explains. The brown-lipped snail produces a lubricant mucus, adhesive mucus and more. Researchers analyze samples of each type to determine their composition and found they all contain similar proteins, but the concentrations vary.
Plus distinct amounts of calcium along with differences in how the slimes were secreted give rise to each of the mucus types. Maria Legabler is a PhD student at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, and she says there are numerous applications, including developing a slime that might help seal a wound or deliver a drug.
