President Trump's war on Iran and the on-again off-again threats appeared to be stalling.
“Earlier this week, Trump said he was "low-keying efforts to come to a deal, but Iran”
says it won't talk to him until the mid-term elections in November. And here's a deal, all-shall-cheek, has more." Trump has said that the U.S. has involved in talks with Iran, but Iran has denied that. But both things could in fact be true because the talks are being carried out through intermediaries like Pakistan and Qatar.
Pakistani delegation was in Tehran today, and the Qatari Foreign Ministry said that the talks between Iran and its neighbor Oman that lies across the state of Hormuz have reached
what it called an advanced stage, and said they were at, quote, "a critical juncture."
Last week, the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Iraq, she said that until the U.S. makes a men's for its attacks, there's no way they're going to go back to negotiations with Washington. But he said that talks with Oman were in their final stages, and that Iran's demands were communicated to the U.S. via intermediaries. And here's Hadeel Al-Shall-Chief reporting from Istanbul.
“The Pennsylvania Attorney General is suing TikTok, joining more than a dozen other states,”
accusing the platform of being intentionally addictive to youth and exposing them to mature content. Carmen Russell Slutchanski from Member Station WHOY has more. Attorney General Dave Sunday says TikTok misrepresent the amount of adult content on its platform to maintain a 13-plus app store rating and boost ad revenue.
Sunday also says TikTok includes features that are addictive by design. They want users including children to crave the app. They want users to endlessly scroll while they break an astronomical ad revenue. I'm standing here today to say that enough is enough, and my office is taking action with this lawsuit.
Pennsylvania wants the court to require more accurate content to disclosure's effective age verification and stronger safeguards against compulsive use. TikTok says the lawsuit is misleading and ignores safety measures the platform already has in place.

In Colombia, crews are searching through the rubble after a powerful magnitude 7.4 earth
quakes. struck. Left nearly 200 people dead and thousands more missing or injured. Now the race is on to locate people underneath the rubble because the chances of survival are just so much better if you can reach them within the first 72 hours.
Emergency workers and volunteers are streaming into Cali, where authorities say that hundreds could still be trapped inside the dozens of buildings that collapsed. John Otis reporting more than 1,000 buildings were destroyed. Other Latin American countries and the U.S. are providing aid. Toyota's were calling around 655,000 of its cameras made between 2025 and 26 because of
a display era that could deactivate safety indicators like turn signals.

Primaries were held in six states today and results are trickling in and race calls according to the Associated Press. In Minnesota, Senator Amy Klobuchar was one of the Democratic nomination for governor. In Wisconsin, Congressman Tom Tiffany has won the Republican primary for governor. He was backed by President Trump while it's on the Democratic side are still being counted.
In South Carolina, Senator Darling Graham's sister of the late Senator Lindsey Graham is advancing to a special Republican runoff primary facing Congressman Ralph Norman. She's filling in her late brother's term and running for a full term in November. Dogs may be able to read other people's emotions by looking at their faces. It's according to a recent study in the journal I Science, and here's Katie Riddell,
has more. Previous studies have shown that dogs can broadly interpret human emotions like happiness or sadness. This study looked at how well dogs can sense more subtle human feelings, like the difference between anger and fear or happiness and neutrality. Researchers train dogs to sit still while they examine their brain activity through an MRI
and show them pictures of human faces. The test showed that the dogs registered different brain activity for these different emotions. Researchers used 14 dogs for this experiment. They point out that not all dogs may have this sophisticated emotional intelligence. Katie Riddell and Piano's.
