morale on the ship, declining mental health and food rationing because of shortages and Pierce Tom Bowman reports. No matter what, both heads at the Navy officials deny those reports. And here's the other thing, I'm hearing a similar concerns about lack of food, soap, clean water on the USS Boxer, which is also in the region.
So again, a lot of concerns from sailors from their families about these conditions. Admiral Brad Cooper, who leads Central Command, met with sailors and Marines aboard the Abraham Lincoln today, as part of his 10-day trip to the Middle East. He thanked the crew and said, "History will record this deployment as one of the most operational intents and consequential of the modern era."
Israeli settlers attacked a construction worker trying to restore water service to a Palestinian American home on Saturday in the West Bank, and Pierce Frank Langford reports from Tel Aviv. Video from the home's occupant shows more than a dozen Israeli settlers chasing a
“back home and jumping aboard, as the operator tries to drive to safety.”
The homeowner, Louis Ridi, a Palestinian American businessman who lives in Toledo, said the settlers are trying to take over his home and should be arrested. Imagine that you have a gangster's front of your house, and you called the police on them. And when the police come, they go hang out with them. Israeli soldiers did run off the settlers today.
Israeli defense forces said, "It deployed more soldiers to the area and pledged to protect all residents." But Palestinians say, land grabs are rarely punished, because they advance the government's goal of expanding Israeli control of land Palestinians claim. Frank Langford and Pure News, Tel Aviv.
The National Weather Services Hurricane Lala did not make landfall in Hawaii's big island, but Hawaii Publicities Bill Dorn reports it continues to bring high winds and rain across much of the state. Blocked roads, fallen trees, and downed power lines.

A powerful storm system pushed very close to Hawaii Island on Saturday, with Hurricane
Force winds sweeping across much of the island. Tens of thousands of customers were without electricity. His crews worked to restore power once winds slowed down. The National Hurricane Center reports more than a foot of rain fell across Windward Maui in the big island on Saturday, and the storm continues to move west to the island of
