The Amazon cargo jet crashed as it tried to land on Sunday afternoon. Overrunning its runway by roughly 1,300 feet. It slammed into the van while still on airport property investigators say, and then smashed through a fence and onto a local street where it also destroyed an SUV. The National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation.

They had hoped the new districts could help them gain a seat and hold onto their slim U.S. house majority in the mid-terms. Missouri's new districts were used in the August primaries, but the state Supreme Court ruled last week. The Missouri must revert to districts adopted after the last census.
A controversial decision by college football officials spoiled Western Michigan's upset of rival Michigan over the weekend. PR's Becky Sullivan reports the college sports conference and includes Western Michigan, has filed a rare appeal to try and overturn the result.
