The Navy is providing new details on how much its main supply hub in Bahrain has been
“damaged by the War with Iran, Steve Wash with Member Station WHRO in Norfolk has our”
story. NPR has been reporting since April about the evacuation of families and sailors from naval support activity in Bahrain and the damage the base suffered. In recent days, the Navy has become more forthcoming, acting Navy Secretary Hong Kau told the epoch times that Iranian forces blew the hell out of Bahrain and that the Navy is reviewing
the future of the base. Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Darrell Coddle told sailors in a televised town hall that the service didn't expect to increase staff at the base anytime soon. A Navy official says it is managing more than 1,700 cases of sailors and families who
remain dislocated since the beginning of the war in February.

“More than ever, large data centers are being built around neighborhoods, prompting real estate”
agents to ask what should we tell clients? A new study from the National Association of Realtors, which analyzed nearly 1,500 data centers, found there really isn't a one size fits all answer. Here's lead researcher Nadia Evangelu. This may be a national conversation, but the actual real estate impact is very concentrated
in a relatively small number of local markets. In some regions, data centers seem to correlate with economic growth, in others, researchers saw rising energy costs and land use concerns. And arrest has been made in the death of Tasha Fortune, the black woman who is found hanging from a tree in Mississippi last month. The medical examers office officially classified Miss Fortune's death as a homicide.

We secure two search horns in an arrest warrant for a job rat with also known as "Jock." That's Jackson, Mississippi Police Chief, Rishal Brackney, she says the suspect had an association with Fortune, but did not offer more details. She says he was arrested without incident after police saw him walking down the streets.
Diesel prices in the US have set a new record for the first time.
The national average passed $6 as the US war with Iran continues to disrupt the flow of oil. Triple A says the average cost of a gallon has reached slightly less than $6 and $6 that's up from $585 last week. Fortune 371 from this time last year, Diesel is used to transport many goods across the US

Lawmakers in the UK voted Friday against a bill that would have allowed a terminally ill adults in England and Wales to choose to end their lives. The vote was close to 86 to 270, it ends a two-year debate in Parliament about assisted
dying, under the measure adults with fewer than six months left to live, would have been able to apply for an assisted death if they had approved approval from two doctors and of expert panel. I'm going to study from the Brookings Institution, looked at the effects of cell phone bands in schools after one year, and here is Sequoia Grillow as upstory.
The Brookings' recent study on cell phone bands finds that usage of phones in schools by teens increased across the 2025-2026 school year, despite nearly all schools have been some kind of ban in place. That increases with the smallest in schools with the strictest policies like belt-a-bell bands versus policies that allowed you during lunch and passing periods.
But even in schools with strictest policies, most teens reported no impact on well-being indicators like happiness or stress. Cell phone bands have swept the country in popularity in recent years, uniting folks from across the political and geographic spectrum. Sequoia Grillow and Pernus.
The process has begun to rename the National Airport after singer- and actor Dolly Parton, who died two weeks ago in the past, she dismissed such offers. The State-controlled airport authority voted unanimously for it, to make the change and city officials say they're also in favor of that change.
