I'm Charisa and my experience in all entrepreneurs

starts a shopping trip at full price.

I'll tell you when the shopping trip is already the first day.

And the platform makes me no problem. I have many problems, but the platform is not one step away. I have the feeling that shopping trip is a platform that is continually optimized. Everything is super integrated and balanced. And the time and the money that I can't invest there is no other way around.

For everything in vaccination. Now let's test our shopping trip at the point of the day. Welcome to another episode of Out of the Pads. Happy? Not as we're getting our intro.

It was waiting for you to say, "I'm deep DNA," I almost said, "Hi, I'm Natalie." Ever since we switched up and not saying "I'm deep DNA, I'm Natalie, it's just wrecked our entire intro." Okay, we'll happy Wednesday. Happy Wednesday.

I feel embarrassed. You're just a girl. You're just a girl. You're just a girl. You're just a girl.

What is it? I'm just a baby. I'm just a baby. Where is that front? It's from TikTok.

Oh. Yeah.

I did it in my improv class and I was like, "Why did I just say that?"

I remember you saying it in improv and I was like, "Why is she talking in TikTok?"

Like, "Because everyone's like, "Well, you gotta go into character mode and I go, "I'm just a baby." Um, because someone was like, in the character of a mom. And so I was like, "Oh, I'll be the baby then." And everyone's like, "What?" They're like, "Hello?

Are you okay?" They're like, "Isn't that the meme?" And I was like, "Why did I just say that as a 34-year-old woman?" You know what? Because you're cultured.

That's why. That is how social media influences you. I know. I keep seeing articles about how short-form videos are really, really, really bad for your brain.

The way your phone is balancing on your, like, and gives, like, shaking. I do this every single time. The fact that you just noticed every episode I have it, like, was like, "Is it going to topple? Is it going to topple?

Yeah." No. My thighs are great support. It's like very steady over here. You jinxed it.

You jinxed it. I know, sorry. You legit jinxed it. Okay. Okay.

Well, anyways, go on. Well, I was going to say how, apparently, gray matter increases in your brain when you watch short-form videos, which I do every day all day. Oh. And so, um, I'm taking a break from TikTok.

Yeah. What happens to people who watch police body cam videos all day every day on YouTube, asking for a friend? You know, let me, uh, let me do some research on love and get back to you. Does that cause gray matter?

No. No. As long as it's over 20 minutes long, and that's not short-form videos. Yeah. That's a long, long video.

That's a long video. That's a long video. Like, hour-along police cam videos. I mostly would addicted to watching shop lifters get caught. Ooh.

Yeah. Yeah. And it's like suburban. What a niche thing to watch. Yeah.

Just like, very addicting. Like, when I'm washing my dishes, or like, cleaning my house, I'll have it on in the background. Yeah.

And it's always like a suburban mom with like three kids, and she's wearing, like, you

know, prada and has a Chanel purse. Ooh. And you would never, you would never guess she would, she would be shoplifting at Target. Because your body is, this is just a side hustle apparently. Yeah.

We're saying, police are, you know, I have to pick up my kids in 15 minutes from school. And they go to something like crazy private school. That's so weird. Yeah.

And she's just, like, getting ready. Like, what business do you have stealing? Like, and much as she must just be doing it for the thrill of it. And it's like stupid things like beach towels. Ugh.

Yeah. Beach towels. And I was like, man, you drive a range rover. Okay. And there's no beach anywhere near here.

Why do you need a towel? Well, no. It's just police cams wherever in the world, like, Florida, whatever. I know. I'm like, imagine there's not even a beach nearby.

Literally. She's like stealing just like random stuff, like, just sunscreen. Interesting.

I was like, you must be doing it for the thrill.

Yeah. That's what I have. Absolutely. She's doing it for the thrill. She just wants to feel something.

Okay. She's a suburban mom. And, you know, life is getting a little stale, so I just love watching the police cams. Interesting.

Yeah. Not me. I, the reason why I need to take a break from TikTok videos is because now, a lot of my content is all AI generated, BS. And I'm falling for it.

Yes.

It's like, weird stories of like, like, love stories or something.

Ooh. I know.

And I'm like, why am I getting targeted for this?

And I look at the comments and everyone's in the same way they're like, how did we get here? And I'm like, that's me, how did I get here? I know when I am 80 something, I will be getting sketch by AI. Yeah.

I'm already getting scammed by AI. Yeah. Yeah. It's actually very upsetting. But these like weird romantic movie films that are all completely AI, I'm

like, what? I'm confused as to why I'm the target for these. Yeah. Like, we know she'd love this. Like, look at her loving arms.

She doesn't have any romance in her life. Here's a little fun romantic easy victim. That's like cool. Recently, I fell for a scam call and they're using AI, you know, the voice thing. Yes.

Yeah. I was freaking conversation with who I thought was someone from FedEx. Oh my gosh. Okay. And I was like, wait a minute.

This person's asking for my social security number. I was like, this can't be the other day. And this has been happening to me a lot recently where like random numbers will just text me. And one of them the other day was, hey, can I ask you something?

And my crazy brain was like, pretty good. My number two that like, you know, that this strange man is texting me. And I was about to fall for and I was like, wait a minute. This is probably like a scam text to be like trying to get me to pay for something. But like my toxic brain is thinking, this is probably like someone really needs to ask you something.

And they're like a random crush I had or like a random guy at the bar that just didn't

save his number or he's finally thinking of me.

That's where my toxic echo stop.

That's why I stopped deleting people's numbers where I will delete numbers of people that

I haven't talked to in a really, really long time. And also anyone I've dated in the past, like I don't say their number, but also I'll delete the text thread. Like I was like, I just, why would I have the number and text from someone I only went on like three dates with?

Yeah. And then sometimes the like text me a year later and I'm like, who are you? I love how there's two types of people in the world. People who will delete the text message threads and then people like me who will save them till the day I die.

Wow. I just love having the even my like X of that long term boyfriend, even though it's so tumultuous. I'm like, what if I just want to like reference something? So I just keep, what if I can receive?

Yeah. What if I just one day think about him and I was like, let me just, you know, search something. I don't know. I have all of them though.

Our certain axis where I'll keep their text thread, you know, four receipts or like, I don't know if, let's say, one of them writes a book one day and I was like, listen, can we pull up the text messages right here because that is not what happened. She will get her lawyer on it immediately.

Also deep, and I went to brunch for the first time ever, first time ever we were never

been to brunch together. Yes, we have.

When have we ever gotten up so early to go to brunch together?

You tell me, it's always been a dinner. There has to be time. It's always been a dinner or like three pm during the day will like meet up. That is so crazy to me that we have never ever been to a brunch. Where have we ever been to brunch?

That's blowing my mind right now. I think the earliest time you and I have met up is when we went to recess with the girls from the show before our season came out. Okay, we have lit, we've been too hawkston to go get coffee and work, but that's not like brunch.

That's sure, I guess, I mean we ate, I feel like that was later in the day. I think that was like, I was like 11 o'clock, okay. Actually, you're actually blowing my mind, I was like, wait, there's no time to be there. I've ever been to like brunch brunch. Like when you have brunch plans.

Yeah, that's true. I don't think you're right. You're right. I don't think we've ever been like, hey, let's go to brunch and then like had a good glass of champagne and yeah, guys, we went to Oxpire and herth here in Chicago.

It was amazing. It was so good. And honestly, we needed it.

The only thing that surprised me was we both had a glass of champagne each and I had two

tips of mine. I was like, I could be dancing on the table right now, like I was a drunk. No, she, you guys, she literally whispered over and she goes, she goes, I can feel it. That's like my face is getting a little hot. I was like, I just, I already knew as soon as you said that I was like, you're not going to

drink the rest of that. Give it to me. Yeah, I got it. No, DG had my glass. I needed it.

I needed it as a hair of the dog because I went out the night before and I was like, this is going to help me. Just give me. Yeah. You and I were there for two hours and we just talked about everything under the sun.

Yeah. Yeah. I've been going through something crazy. Yeah. I needed some advice.

Yeah. I don't, I would say it was less advice but more so we were just like complaining to each other. We're like, well, you know that one. Happy, happy, happy app. My favorite type of conversations though is when someone goes, can I say something mean?

Yes, because like, there's no judgment.

No one is listening. Yeah.

It's just you and I complain away and tell me everything that's long in the world because

that helps our nervous system, that helps regulate our nervous system. I love when someone is like, can I say something mean and you just know something juicy and crazy is going to come out of their mouth? Yeah. It's like so out of character.

When you say that to me, I'm like, speak, I feel like we need to make brunch plans more often because I can't believe we haven't had brunch before. I know. Can you believe it? Do you people go to brunch these days?

Yes. You know what? That's my like least favorite meal. Really? Yeah.

I freaking love a brunch. Like a Saturday brunch with your friends and then you go home after a little tipsy.

And then you do nothing for the rest of the day.

No, I don't like a brunch where I don't like brunch menus. Oh, you mean like brunch food? I like more like lunch and dinner. Actually, I really love lunch. I love lunch foods.

Wow. Yeah. Where the portions are a little bit smaller than dinner. Yes. But like I feel like for lunch, you could still have pasta.

You could also have like a club sandwich. That is so weird. We're so opposite because brunch is my favorite and then I'd go straight into dinner probably. Dinner and drinks a little martini. Hmm.

I don't like the breakfast sandwiches. I don't like you know like what is the two eggs any style. I don't like seeing that on the menu. Oh, listen, I'm a chile keelay's girlie through and through baby.

Why have you ever seen that on a brunch menu in Chicago?

Everywhere all the time. What are you talking about? Never seen it. If anything, I pick the place based on the chile keelay's only. If there is none on the menu, I'm not going.

You know what a fun fact? Fun fact. Um, um, um, I don't know how to transition to this next thing we want to say. Because we're going to feel so wrong to talk about brunch. I would say if you're so wrong to talk about chile keelay's a bit creepy.

If within the same minute, chile keelay's and then something important. Yeah. Okay. We're going to get serious. Pavecees before we continue on with the rest of this episode.

We do have something very important we want to share with you. After a lot of thought, we decided that this will be our last season of Out of the Pots. Crazy and honestly, we did not make this decision lightly. We have been talking about it for a very long time now. And we're just so so proud of what we've built together.

It was too best friends who just had this idea to start something and it grew into something so amazing.

I think the most rewarding part about this entire thing is the community that we have built.

And it is you guys, the pod besties that have just made it so worth it. Yeah.

You guys have been so so amazing and we will never ever take you guys for granted.

Our last episode will be March 25th and we'll share more on that episode how we came to this decision. But one thing I want to say before there's like any speculation, this decision has nothing to do with our friendship, our relationship, literally that was not a factor at all when making the decision.

If anything, we continued on because honestly talking to my best friend on a mic every week was so, so much fun. And I think that was really the one thing that had us keep going. So I just want to make it clear, our friendship, our relationship has had nothing to do with this decision.

You are and will always be my best friend. Yeah. I'm going to get emotional talking about it, but we're going to save the tears, but no, I echo everything that you just said. You are literally my OG pod bestie and you will be for my entire life.

But yeah, we're just so happy that we got to do this together. And if we continue talking about this, I'm going to get so emotional. So before the tears start rolling, let's just enjoy the rest of the time that we have left together. Let's get into it.

Let's talk about the actor awards, no, yes, let's move on from that. It was making us too emotional. I was like, I know I saw your eyes get all glazed over and I was like, oh my God, I didn't do this. So I just know our last episode is going to be, it's going to hit our position.

As about the actor awards that was on Netflix, I loved it being on Netflix. Oh, yeah, me too. Yeah. I loved that it was like live-ish.

Is it always live, like for the Golden Globes was it live?

Mm-hmm. It is. Oh, yeah. Wait, you know what this reminded me of? I don't know if you know the podcast or Jake Shane.

Yeah, yeah. Okay. There was episode where he goes, is the Boston Marathon the same distance as the other marathons? And they're like, I fear that is common knowledge and that made me think of you.

Is it always live?

No way. I honestly didn't know.

Well, like when I put on the Golden Globes or like whatever award show, I always think

it happened the day before and they're all pretending like it's happening live, like it's not actually live. Yeah. This just proves that you don't really care that much about awards. Yeah.

I'll put it on and I'm really just there to eat the snacks. Yeah. If I go over to someone's house to like watch your award show, I'm like, I'm just here for the food. No, that's so fair.

I actually thought about this yesterday because I was like, oh, I was like, looking at people's outfits and obviously they're so decked out and like gorgeous. My favorite I think was viola Davis. Yes. I loved her.

I loved like little side, shoulder, bang, whatever.

Anyways, I thought to myself, I was like, I would need like an entire team to be on that

red carpet. No, I think that they have like entire teams to help them with their look, which must be so, so tiring, like going to multiple fittings before the red carpet, like doing makeup trials, hair trials, before like the final look. I mean, it's like a wedding.

I saw a clip. I think it was Chloe Kardashian or Courtney Kardashian, but they were talking about why they don't go to the Met Gala anymore, but it was mostly because like it's so much work to go to these events, like, which I guess to us, like, how much work can it be? Like, you have a bunch of people dressing you and doing your makeup and hair, but also

as an introvert, I could understand, like I was like, I wonder if the people at these award shows, like actually like being there, knowing that they have to go to like multiple award shows. Yeah. Because award season seems hectic.

Yeah.

And you have to have like a unique look for every single one of them.

And yeah, that it just seems like a lot more warm. Like, there's got to be an introvert there somewhere, you know? You know how many of those people are probably introverted and just have so much social anxiety to be like, I have to walk down the red carpet. I have to do these one-off interviews where people are just randomly asking me questions.

No, I was thinking that too. Yeah. I was like, oh my gosh, it's an introverts worst nightmare. Yeah. 100%.

But as an extrovert, I think I would enjoy it. But as an introvert, which I'm not actually- Oh, listen, I can barely get dressed for like a date. Okay. I like sit in bed for like an hour or two thinking about like, how do I, maybe cancel?

And I was like, no, no, I can't. That would be rude. And then I get up and then, you know, I can't even get myself to go through the closet. Like, I have like the anxiety.

I've been like, oh my gosh. I have to go. Yes.

Honestly, I would do 12 award shows before I went on a first date.

Oh, that's how I feel right now by dating.

Okay, can we talk about how as two single women in our 30s, our dinners are either like girl, dinner, or a full blown crisis, like a few nights ago, I was romanticizing cooking with love is blind on on the background and a glass of wine. And then the next day, I'm eating cereal over my sink, which, yes, I do this way more often than not.

And every year, I say I'll get better at meal planning and then I just don't. But what finally clicked for me is that meals don't have to look one specific way. They just have to fit into your life. That's why Marley Spoon has been such a win for me. Yes, because the rules have changed.

Sometimes we're eating at the table, sometimes on the couch, sometimes standing over the sink texting somebody we shouldn't be texting. Marley Spoon just gets that. They've got ready to cook, ready to heat, and ready to eat options, plus market snacks for those in between moments.

The other day, I made the chicken papai and it looked so gourmet, but it took zero mental gymnastics. And what I love about Marley Spoon is how flexible it is. Over 100 recipes every week, you can personalize everything, skip when you need to, and it actually supports your real busy life.

It's like having a low maintenance partner, but for food, so go to MarleySpoon.com/offer/autofpods for up to 25 free meals. That's right up to 25 free meals with Marley Spoon. That's MarleySpoon.com/offer/autofpods for up to 25 free meals. One thing I loved about the actor awards is they didn't cut off the speeches.

You know how typically at like the Golden Globes or the Oscars, they have like music, that plays when, you know, time is up.

You need to start wrapping up your speech, they didn't do it for the actor awards, and

I really liked that. Imagine if you win a big award, and then like there's music playing being like hurry up. Like hurry up. I'd be like, "Oh, yeah." I'd be like, "Oh, yeah."

I'd be like, "Oh, yeah." I'd be like, "Oh, yeah." I'd be like, "Oh, yeah." The one part about the actor awards that I got super emotional about was Harrison Ford accepting his speech, and it was like a lifetime achievement of worth type thing.

And I was heavily, heavily emotional about it just because it's like, "Oh, his entire career and like snippets of all the long, such a long career." Yeah, it was just so sweet to watch it, but I did notice like that he was taking a little bit longer with his speech, and I was like, "Oh, I wonder if there is like the music is going to come on, but I'm so happy that they let him take the time to speak for

However long he wanted, because he has earned it.

Yeah.

And yeah, anyways, it was really beautiful, but I was waiting for the music.

I was like, "Don't you do her play?" I'm a rambler when I'm nervous, so I feel like I need the music to be like, "All right, yeah." Hurry up. And it's so diabolical when they make it louder and louder, so like even when you're like,

"Well, I just want to say my last thank yous, and they're like, "Nope, sorry."

I think when the film Parasite won an award at the Oscars, I forget which one, but they

actually turned off the lights on stage. Do you remember this? Did you see this moment? They like started to play the music, and like, I think it was the director. Was it wrapping up?

So they turned off the light.

And then everyone in the audience was like, "No, like, you turned the lights back on." To have the director finish his speech, or I think it was one of the producers, maybe, it was a woman. But that's something I would need. If I want to award, I need somebody to shut off the lights and be like, "You're done."

No, if someone did that to me, and I didn't, I missed the mark on the amount of time I had. I would literally feel so embarrassed for, honestly, the rest of my life. I think it's especially on a stage like that. If I'm nervous, I would've been like, "And you don't want time when I was a little girl." I was like, "I just don't want time when I was a little girl."

One of the actors who was in sinners was making a speech because of the movie one, like, "That's movie or something." And he was looking around, and he was like, "Where's the teleprompter?

I can't find it!" Imagine not having your speech and not knowing where it was.

And you have to speak for the entire movie.

I'd be like, "Uh, well, thank you for everything. Okay, bye." Have you ever practiced reading on a teleprompter? Yes, I'm really good at it. You are. So I'm really bad. I looked it up on YouTube, and I was like, "Because I was curious, like, how newscasters do it?"

And I was like, "I wonder how they just read a teleprompter?" Yeah, wait, you remember we did this? What? We did the teleprompter thing for, um, Netflix. When? You and me had to go in. Like, it was like some actor, I'll have to look it up.

But remember, we literally read off the prompter. That's fine. Let's forget it. Oh, man, wait, no! No, for a mind to me. I can't believe I don't remember this at all. I'm going to have to pull it up. I was thinking it was for a movie. For a movie, it wasn't our Forbes. It was, we were wearing, uh, I was wearing all black.

I remember you were wearing white. And we came in and we were reading off the teleprompter to do like, um, it was like an event or something. But they were like, "We're recording us for it." Do you remember this? I'll pull you out of wearing red and I was wearing white.

I was wearing black and you were all sexy. I was wearing like a black dress. And they, they both, they both brought us in to LA to do it. And it was like a, a thing. It was like a little function. I don't even know what it was for, but it was like, they filmed us and we had to read off the teleprompter. Do you remember this?

No, how do you not remember everything? I know. And that's why I'm so, so shocked. I don't remember it.

And I can't even think what the, what the product was or what the, like, is it like we're pulling things out of a hat? That sounds right. Kind of. Yes. And there was like other people there. Yeah. Like, I think like Nick and Vanessa did it before us. Yes. Yes. Something along those. Yes. Like, we're pulling things that happened in season three. Was it that? No, that was different. Oh, gosh.

I'll send it to you. I'll find it and send it to you because I definitely have footage from it. Because I remember taking videos with you. No, I know. I'm shocked. I don't remember because I truly don't forget anything. You really don't. Oh, I was wearing pink. Yeah. Oh, you were wearing pink. Yes. It was for the show beef season one. Oh, my God. Yes. That's exactly what it was. And we had to read off the teleprompter because they had like a specific thing we needed to say for the beef.

And we were playing games with the other people where there was beef. Yes. Yes. Oh, we had, I don't remember the teleprompter, but I know what day, but you say I wore white through me off because I was like, Oh, yes. I think about like when I've worn whitehead in a vet, but it was a, it was a pink seal. You're totally right. I totally remember. Oh, my gosh. Oh, scared me. I really pride myself in having a really good memory. So it really, uh, you're like an

elephant. They have really great memories. What they do? Mm-hmm. Is that why you have elephants all over your apartment? I, because you remember it sucks. It's inspiration for my men. It's a reminder of me. Oh, he did. He has a big canvas painting of an elephant above her bed and I was like, it's like me looking at you when you sleep. How dare you. Now I have to remove it all. And she has like elephant. Your pattern pillows. It's like me. I mean, it's a little bit of a

stretch, but I'll let you think what you want to think. Whatever makes you happy. I mean, elephants and me go way back before you, but let's get back before you. Well, anyways, let's get into love as blind episodes at 10 through 11. What a

Show.

it was pretty bad at the end of episode nine. And then we start episode 10 continuing on their conversation

and it gets even worse. It gets worse. Who would have thought that it could get that bad? The fact that she's still gave him so much time is what pisses me off. But I do think there was a lot of editing happening in that conversation because there's just no way she didn't have more reactions to what he was saying. Yeah, I mean, I'm not sure, but I'm just shocked. She didn't walk away,

sooner. So recently, it was revealed on social media. I think it's Chris's ex who wasn't on

love as blind who revealed this, but Chris is allegedly $60,000 in debt and he was sued by two credit card companies and knowing that and watching this conversation, where Chris is pretending to be wealthy. He's talking about his assets and the four seasons. It is so fucking funny to me. Like, what an insecure, but also crazy man. Also, it's so diabolical that he didn't think that he was going to get caught. Like, you're going on a very, very public reality TV show and for you to

be talking like that, but being debt is diabolical. I know. Like, literally talking about your

Charles Schwab account when you have nothing in there. Literally, it's always the men on these shows,

though, that like, just get caught in crazy ass lies. Yeah, the internet sluts will find out anything you lie about. And we're on season 10 of love as blind guys. Like, there's no hiding. Yeah, if you have cheated on a girlfriend in the past, if you were insanely in debt, most likely the internet will find out. Absolutely. The fact he was like, no, I'm just going to go on a very, very popular public international reality TV show. I mean, that's a level of ego that I hope never finds me.

No, absolutely not. But it's crazy because he's insecure, but also has an ego and acts like overtly confident. It's like, very, like, I was like, what is Chris? Yeah. And yeah, it's like very weird. Like, he tries to like cover up his insecurity by boasting a lot. But I guess that is the biggest sign that someone is insecure. But he's also randomly, like, so egotistic and confident.

Remember when he says to breathe during that conversation, like, are you attracted to me? Mm-hmm.

Yeah, wow, world. And I was like, my god, the audacity of like, can they roll the tapes because I need to know what Bree answered because they didn't give us an answer, really. Yeah. They just ended it with, oh, like, I wouldn't do this experiment with anybody besides Connor is what Bree said. And that was it. But I was like, I didn't get to all angry and he's like, people like, I'm Andrew Tate. I was like, I mean, I was like, what? I love how she was like,

I don't know what that is. I was like, you know exactly who Andrew Tate is. She's just like, I don't want to be involved in this political drama right now. I'm going to walk away. That was so funny. That was crazy, though. The disrespect is, can insane. And even his conversation with just was really weird, like, the fact that he thought that they would continue the relationship or that just wouldn't be upset about it. He's like, are you all good? Are you all fine? Like,

you went to work, okay? She's like, no, I didn't. It was bad. And he goes, also, you never texted me

and she's like, are you kidding? She's like, are you? I asked you if you were alive. And he goes, well, that was just like, went time. Listen, I will say that he is very, very drunk at this point. So like, I don't know if he realizes he's not making a bunch of sense. But also soberly, he is a very strange, strange, strange individual foreshore. Yeah. Like, I know we said Alex was an alien, but Chris is also not of this earth. And even when he was talking

to Brienne made that face, like, the tongue out, that I literally, oh my God, I got the biggest, like chill down my spine. I was like, I need burn my team now. It's my fault for showing up and watching this, it's my fault actually. I know watching this episode was like, someone was forcing me against my will to watch it. Yes, even though I'm choosing to watch it, but the feeling is as if I'm being like forced to watch it. Like, I'm so uncomfortable. I don't want to watch it. The moment he

stuck his tongue out, I was like, what, what, what do I, why do I feel like I need to take 20

showers? Yeah, no, immediate chills down my spine. And honestly, we put ourselves in that situation.

It's not even just what he said in the motions and the actions. It's the fact that he's talking to somebody's fiance, that is not his. And then the audacity for Chris to go up to Connor and be like, it's good to see a buddy. Just just a snake, disgusting, disgusting behavior, especially because when they were in the bathroom, he was telling all it looks like, oh, I'm gonna hit on Bree. Like, what's what's Connor gonna do beat me up? I was like, yeah, he would not only is he not a girl's

guy, but he's not a guy's guy. No, he's just a guy. Yeah, I guess. Oh, no, Chris is pissing me off. And I'm really happy we don't have to see him much else on. I really don't want you. I don't think

I could take it anymore.

Can you imagine being Chris's co-workers or friends and family just like watching him do this? And they text him like, hey, you saw the most recent episodes. So how you do

it? I want to go to four seasons. Everyone from my company literally watched this show, when they found out I was on it. And then imagine everyone from Chris's company watching it,

knowing he's on it. And they're probably like, so Monday morning. Hey, Chris, how you doing?

No, it's fine. I would take PTO for like, actually, the rest of my life. Yeah, I was going to say,

I can never show up. That's just a quick. Yeah. But no, I'm sure Chris is getting the

brunt of it. Yeah, that was a crazy conversation he had with Bree. But what did you think about the conversation between Alex Priyanka and Ashley? I was so here for it. I was so excited. I knew Priyanka would come with some tea because obviously she's linked to Alex outside of the show. And it's so weird. But I feel like Priyanka was put in this season just to call Alex out on his lies because why is he lying about the Austin check? Like, who is the Austin check? And why do you

need to lie? It just felt like he's lying about the entire situation. And like, why doesn't matter if you stayed with her or not, just be honest. I feel like there's so many lies because he also like to Ashley that he flew out to the pods from Cleveland, but he actually flew from Austin.

So obviously he's like lying to her like how much time he spent in Austin. And I think that's where

his ex lives or his situation ship, whoever she is to him. There'd be one thing if this was like

the only time Alex got a detail wrong, right? Like maybe he missedpoke. But he also lied to Ashley about where he flew out from to the pods. So he told Ashley like, "Yes, I told you that I flew out from Cleveland because it would be easier to explain even though I actually flew out from Austin." Yeah. Those are crazy lies to tell. I just feel like she's getting frustrated because he is a pattern of not telling the truth. He just like lies to lie. Exactly. And at this point,

it's like kind of just in his DNA to lie. Yeah. But that was the most telling factor when he's like, "Oh, I didn't tell you because I'd then I had to have to explain all of this or like it gets complicated." Then just explain it. Yes. And also, but that's like, that's the whole point. And you literally, he literally nailed it in the coffin right then and there. It's that you are embellishing or you're lying or you're forgetting details or misspeaking to like make it easier

if people to understand. But it would be better if you just had just told the truth. And then everything you say could be believable. I had an ex like this who also lied about like things you shouldn't lie about. Like, there was no point in lying about it. Like, for example, my ex lied about what college he went to to other people. Like, he told someone he went to University of Wisconsin Medicine when he actually went to University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. He also lied about

like, he had to get a booster shot. And I asked him, I was like, "Oh, did you get the booster shot?" And he's like, "Yeah, I got it." And I found out he actually didn't. He just felt like lying to me at that moment. That's so weird. It was just like, he's like, I don't know why I lied. It was just, he's like, I just, I don't know why I told you that. It's like, you know, people who just lie to lie. It's like, they

Can't help themselves or it's like natural for them to just lie.

type of person Alex says. Yeah, absolutely. Where they just like embellish a little bit here and there.

That's how it starts. But then it just like leads into full blown lying. That I have had people

like that in my life before where I'm like, it doesn't even make sense for you to lie about. Yeah, like, you know, it has like no big impact to lie. Exactly. You just lie to lie. Yeah, and people don't care one way or the other. Yeah. But yeah, it's um, it's definitely a disease. Alex is really, really sketchy though. Yeah, the lying, but also after their bachelor parties, remember he talks about like what he wants in life and he goes, you know, like, maybe like a trust fund here and a house here

in bubble. And I was like, Alex, okay, listen, right now, you don't have a house anywhere. I don't even know where he wants to live. But the fact that he said he needs a safe house in New Zealand was

very confusing because does he know what a safe house is and why do you need to listen? Everything

that comes out of his mouth. I actually don't believe. I think he just like says things to stay things. I'm going to have a trust in Dubai. Yeah. I'm going to have a like I think he's just like says random shit. Yeah, it's just like a lie. It's just like, like, he's even lying about what he wants. Like he doesn't know. He's just like whatever sounds good. I'm just going to say it. I could be in Florida. I could be in Dubai. I could be in. Yeah. I don't know. Literally, he's just

very strange man. Very, very strange man. And I don't understand him. There is absolutely no way in how Ashley is saying yes. And I don't even know why she is going to the wedding if I'm being honest.

I think Ashley and Alex are in this scenario where they know that they're most likely

going to say no at the altar, but they're just kind of sticking through it and keeping with their

filming schedule just for like screen time. I mean, it's more common than not that couples do this every single season. Yeah. You know, we've heard about it in practically every single season where they knew they were going to say no like literally when they were on their honeymoon trip like in Mexico, but they pretend that they are unsure until they're wedding day just for the screen time. Yeah. And it's also really tough, too, because like if the couples are being intimate and they're

living together, there is a level of like closeness that does come from the experience and also filming together. And then the other side of it's like, oh my gosh, there's so many red flags like glaring at you. So it's you're trying to process it in real time and producers like encouraging you to stay in the process and also kind of confusing you. Like I remember I was concerned about something and my relationship on love is blind and producers were like, oh no, that's not like a red

flag. You're good. That's crazy. And then looking back, I was like they totally lied, but I think you're so tired and not thinking straight and things are like happening so fast and you're also working your nine to five at the same time. Yes. And you just like, you can't think straight.

No, you can't think straight at all. That's what's crazy about looking back on the experience.

Like you have all the facts now, but you didn't have it at the time that you were going through the situation, but like the lot of the cast is like real time processing all the great things. Oh, man. Yeah. This episode is sponsored by Better Health. March is International Women's Day, which means we have to take a moment to recognize women and to celebrate their strength and how much they carry every day between caring for others and managing unseen responsibilities.

Their emotional well-being is easily overlooked. And we want to remind women how much they matter and that therapy offers a space for them to take care of themselves in the way they deserve. I think about my mom often when I think about women's international day and just how much she does for our whole family. Even today, when I'm in my 30s, she shows up for me in every single way. And pod besties, I want all of you to also reflect on the rules women play in your lives

and the expectations placed on them and the pressure that they feel. Therapy can help create balance, set healthy boundaries and support overall well-being for everyone. I'm so happy that Priyanka was there to kind of validate Ashley in feeling like she doesn't have all the info or like the facts are blurry.

Yeah, I just like that she was there to show like Alex does lie. Again, not about like big, big things, but about like he's definitely has like a lying street. Yeah, like something is just all. Yeah, I can't quite place that. I feel like their whole storyline right now is that Alex is not an honest person. And I feel like that's like the thing that keeps getting brought up. The one relatable thing that they did was when they're back home and Alex is like,

"Do you want me to order you McDonald's?" And I was like, "Yes, that 2 a.m. drunk food solves

Almost every problem.

fries too." I'm afraid that would work on me so hard. I know. Same. I'd be like, "Okay, yeah,

let's not talk about this and let me get ready for these nuggets." Jordan and Amber. I was kind of shocked that they had a little tiff after that Potsquad mixer. I know and I wonder what happened. I like even reminded it back to see what the issue was and I think Amber just missed hurt him or was like, I don't think she was also very, very drunk. I think so too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It escalated really

quickly and that's what alcohol does to you, man. It makes you a little bit more sensitive.

Blost things out of proportion. Just a little tiny bit. Not that I'm saying Amber did, but I think she really truly missed hurt what he said because I thought she, I really like Amber, but I do think she kind of blew things out of proportion. Yeah, I'm glad that they were able to

sit down and actually talk about it and I thought that it was very healthy the way that they did.

I feel like if there is some sort of downfall with this couple, it's the fact that she has walls up, which I don't blame her. It sounds like she's like been in relationships where it's caused her not to be very protective of not only herself, but also her daughter. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, I think like her having her walls up and not really letting them down too much for Jordan is I feel like may cause some issues in their relationship. I do understand where Jordan

was coming from where he's like, I'm not sure if like Emma will like me like he's kind of worried about that. Emma is Amber's daughter, but I'm glad that there was plans for Jordan to meet Emma

before the wedding. Oh, absolutely. And I think that's important. And yeah, I think it's a

valid concern. It's not that it's like coming out of the blue. I think I would feel the same exact

way if I was engaged to somebody who who had a child. And yeah, like I would just be concerned. And pop S. E. S. who are parents. Let us know how you would deal with this situation. But I feel like if I had a kid going into the love of mine experiment, I don't I'm not sure if I would get married, but if I became really serious with my fiance on the show, I would want them to meet my kid before I got married. Oh, yeah, absolutely. And it can't just be right before like the whole

matter. Yeah, like fair thing, their opinion would also matter a lot. But on the flip side, though, like because everything's happening so quick, is it kind of like a little bit irresponsible for your kid to meet your partner? If you're not sure what you're going to say at the altar, like, I don't know. That's why it's complicates things so much to have a child on a loveist one scenario because there's a lot at stake. So I don't know. Actually, now that I'm like,

thinking about it deeply, I don't know what I would do. Yeah. I think if I was a parent, though, going on the show, I probably wouldn't get married, but it would be like a way for me to find a partner. Yeah, you know. Yeah. And even if you're like so sure that you are ready to say, yes, I feel like even if you did get married, it would be like a slow transition or like a slow process to move in together or to like get acclimated to the new person and your child.

Yeah. But what if your child doesn't like your partner after you get married, like then what you too, you're screwed. Dude, these are all like what if we find out that your partner isn't great with your child. Like isn't actually like, you know, someone that, you know, you realize like, oh my gosh, actually like, they don't treat my child while like, I don't know. Yeah. This is someone I actually want. Like, what do you, I don't know. I know there's

so many. I know. I was like, I don't know. Now that I'm like, think about it. I don't know what I would do if I was a parent. Yeah. I don't know. It's a tough one. That's a tough one. Wow. That. Yeah. I guess that does like kind of really complicate things. Okay. But can we please talk about, breathe, ending things with Connor? Did she even end things with him? I didn't even know if they broke up or like she was just like, I'm going to say no at the altar and we'll just

see how it goes. Like I was like, what's happening? That's so true because they were like, well, I hope I get to marry you and I'm like, wait, what's going on? What's going on? Why are you confusing my man's like this? My man's Connor. He's like such a sweetie pie and I just feel like she's being stomied. I'd like to think that her sign is faction gone into her way. You know when you have a sign is in fact, she's like a stuffy nose. You're not thinking straight. Yes.

I'd like to think like she was like, my nose is plugged up. I don't know what I'm saying. Like, you know, you would. Sometimes I'm like that. Like, when I can't breathe, I'm like, oh, I don't know what's

happening. You're like, I can't life right now. Okay. I'm like, I'm hoping that's what was happening

to her because her conversation. Like, I was like, what are you saying, Bree? Especially when she says to him, like, I'm not sure if you're the total package or you're just here in my life to teach me about being loved. And I was like, uh, Bree, what? It also, like, to talk about making you about herself. I get it. I guess you're wetting and during days, you're loved. I'm actually

Just someone said that to you.

in my life to teach me to be loved. It's like, oh, you're just trying to figure out if I'm a stepping stone.

Right. Or if you actually love me. Okay. Cool. Like, what changed from just like a yesterday to now,

yeah, that you're like, I don't know. You're confused about our connection. Is it Chris?

I mean, it cannot be Chris. There's just no way. But I was very confused that whole time. And I felt really bad for Connor. And especially like in his interview after when he was crying, I was just like, why are you being so mean to this man? I know I felt bad for him. But I do think that Connor knew like that they were going to have this conversation. So it does seem like she gave him a heads up. Yeah. It just like his reaction was so tame during the conversation

that it felt like they had already talked about it off camera. Yeah. Fair enough. But even then,

like, I thought she was so harsh on him to be like, oh, when I look at your car or your house,

like it seems like it'll care about anything. It's like, he's just a guy. Leave him alone. Yeah. What if Connor said to Bree, like, well, look at this cake jacket you're wearing? Oh my god. The cake jacket. Someone, Larry 2010. Someone left a comment and was like,

you can't be this mean in a cave. Like, it's just not a good look.

I'm pretty sure I have one in my closet right here. Yeah. Yeah. Go get it. Should I go put it on? Yeah. She's like, I stand on business in my cake jacket. It doesn't bring in, but you didn't feel like this like soft break up. Why do I feel like Bree was like laying off Connor at work, but she's like, you know what that HR person that can't really say? Like,

you're getting laid off. It's like, it's hurting around it. Yes. That was like that. That was definitely a

business meeting. Yeah. I'm sure. She should have already to go. She had a presentation and he goes, no, I don't want to get laid off and she's like, well, potential for you not to, if you change your performance. Yeah. No, that's so funny. Yes. Exactly. That's 100% what I felt like. Yeah. No, I was like, this is mean. I didn't like it. Just coming for his character, like, just coming for him in general. I don't know. He just too nice. Yeah. I don't know how I feel about Bree. Like,

she's not like the worst on this season. Obviously, that goes to Chris. Yeah. And maybe runner-up is Alex. However, I feel like I've seen a lot of not so great things about her. For example, there was a TikTok about how she used to be a bully in high school and really bad, like treated someone very poorly. And then also, I was talking to one of the women from this current cast. And they said how Bree is pretty much disliked by most of the women on the cast. And I feel like

that's very, like, telling. I've got someone is behind the scenes. Yeah. Because why? I need to know the T on why and what happened, which is usually when the cast comes out of love is blind, the girls and the guys. And I'm going to speak just for the girls. Like, usually the girls are very close, especially right away. And especially right when the show is airing. I feel like you have that close knit bond. So like, that's interesting. I wonder what happened. I know same. I would love

to get some tea on that. I know. I'm hoping it's revealed at the reunion. But it sounds like most of the women like even in the broader, love is blind season 10 cast. Like, don't like three. Yeah. minus a few. I think Bree's close to Priyanka. I saw that like they've been hanging out. So yeah. I did hear a little bit of tea that there might be some conflict that will happen at the reunion between the girls. So we'll see. Can we talk about Britney buying her wedding dress before she

went on love is blind? I know. I was like, babe, they're going to pay for that. You don't need to buy one. I was very confused about that. Why? Yeah. We did she buy it when she found out she was going on love is blind or did she buy it like, you know, just because I have no idea. Actually, I have no idea. But either scenario, usually you don't just buy a wedding dress. Like, if there's not somebody on the horizon, but I feel like maybe like when she was doing love is blind and interviews and stuff,

she was like, I have a good feeling maybe. Yeah. No, that's what I was trying to figure out. Like,

did you buy this wedding dress? Because you knew you were going on the show, which I think actually makes it worse than the other scenario, just like buy one general cause. Yeah. Because I feel like then it put a lot of pressure on her that like, my wedding dress better gets some screen time. So I better get engaged and also stay with my person till the end. Yeah. Because listen, I don't think that was a cheap wedding dress. Yeah. She's probably like, I spend a lot of money on

it and this better gets some fucking airtime. Yeah. Or it's like a manifestation type of thing where it's like, you know what, like, play into what you want to happen. So she's like, I just know that I'm going to find my person. So I'm just going to buy this wedding dress. You know, buy a veil. Okay. Buy something borrowed or something. Yeah. Buy a pair of shoes. But a

Whole ass wedding dress.

see them make no, they're not getting married. There's no way. Yeah. Because I feel like divante is also holding back because why didn't we get any family scenes with him? That makes me think he's not serious. And this is when I knew it was truly over, like he's saying no at the altar is when he says, like, yeah, I just need a day off. I'm just going to be unreachable. What them? Who is that? He's already planning his estate. He's like, I need one day a year. He goes,

please, I just need a day without you. And that's crazy to say as someone you've only been with for like probably four and a half weeks at this point. Yeah. Because if you did really love them,

you would be like, so, like, I don't know. So you would never with them. Yeah. You wouldn't need a day off

for someone you've only been with for like four and a half, five weeks at this point. Yes. Okay, that entire conversation when they're talking about the pre-nub. And then before the pre-nub, they were talking about how, you know, oh, like Brittany's like, I just know you're never going to gush over me. I just know that like, you're not that type of person. And she wasn't really that upset about it. Yeah. And then he brought up the pre-nub. And she was so mad. To be honest, I don't know

if that's the piece. She should be upset. To be honest, I'm on Devante's side with the pre-nub. I was like, Brittany, why wouldn't you want to sign a pre-nub? Like, you really trust this man. You've only known for like five weeks at this point? Yeah. When when he said, oh, I make 40k a month sometimes. She's like, yep, signed me up. Yeah. I think there was some internet sluts who did some digging. And he's in like a specific job role where he makes a good commission. Okay, regardless though, Brittany,

you want to protect your assets. Okay. Yes. You have to manually know for four point five weeks at

this point. Like, you really are upset about the pre-nub. If anything, you should be like, hell, yeah. Yeah. Some, okay. I'm not going to lie to you in the past when someone has brought up a pre-nub. I'm like, oh, that sucks because like, do you not trust this relationship? Do you not trust that we're going to last? But I don't think like that anymore. I think there is a difference with the pre-nub issue.

I'll always get a pre-nub, no matter how long that I've known someone, how long I'm with someone.

But I think there's still a difference of asking for a pre-nub when you've only known someone for four point five weeks. Yeah. First, asking for a pre-nub when you've known someone for years. You know what I'm saying? Like, in your situation, like, yeah, if let's say you were dating someone for one, two, three, four, five years and they bring up the pre-nub, maybe there's a side where you feel like, what, you don't trust me. But in this scenario, in the Love Is Wine World, you only

know your partner for like a month and a half before you get married. Yeah. If anything, every single couple who's even thinking about it should be getting a pre-nub. Yeah, 100%. The fact that he Devante is also like, oh, yeah, like, I brought, I'm bringing this up now because, you know, we're close to the weddings when I'm not going to see you. Yeah. He's like, because I'm going to be a reachable. Yeah. And I bet it's not for just a day. He's like, I need a whole week. Yeah. That

man is not going to marry her. I just have a feeling that it's not going to happen. And I think she's

going to be heartbroken. Yeah. 100%. But I mean, a lot of things have been leaked about Devante, which we'll say in the next episode. Oh, yes. I mean, the finale did drop today. So I think if you watch, you kind of already know how it turns out. But yeah, like Devante's, let's just say his world is wild. His world is absolutely wild. And I heard about that leaked tea. And I was like, oh, you can

just never, you just never know. It's never know. You're not, I'm not shocked. I'm not shocked. I need

your opinion on the first wedding of the season. Emma Mike. I'm so mad. They left us at a cliffhanger. But what is going on with Emma? Like baby girl, I don't think she wants kids. And I think she's just kind of stringing along Mike at this point. You know what people are saying online about them? I think this is mostly coming from Mike's camp. So probably from his friends and family who are like leaking this on social media. But allegedly, him and Emma agreed to say no before they're

wedding day. So they like talked about what they're going to say. They're like, we're saying no. But Emma ended up saying yes. And people are saying the only reason she said yes was to make him look bad.

Interesting. Yeah. That's why I think her speech was so weird like her vows. Yeah. And even in his

vows, like asking about kids. Yeah. So odd. Yeah. No, it was so odd. And I think people are being like that was so inappropriate to say on your wedding day. But I think because they agreed to say no, he didn't know what to say because he didn't want to say something like loving. But also not make it obvious like he was about to say no. Yeah. Like they do say that like producers. They didn't tell me what to say. But they did encourage me not to make it seem like I was about to say no in

My vows slash speech at the altar.

are really in this experiment like a way for you to just say how grateful you are for the experience with your partner. Like even if you're going to say no, it's like usually a pretty positive thing. Yeah. But no, I was very confused with his vows too. Like they didn't seem like they were vows.

Yeah. So obviously I feel like he's definitely going to say no. And that's why they left it on

a cliffhanger. But that's interesting that Emma and him had a conversation intentionally before. But also I'm siding Mike because he says like in his interviews during the wedding day, he's all like Emma's going to be the one to make the decision or something like that. Like she's

going to go first. And I was like, okay, you guys agreed to say no, but you're kind of trying to make

her bad like kind of position it where it's like up to her. Yeah. Yeah. Which is so stupid. Because like let's face it, you guys want different things out of life and that's okay. It doesn't have to work out. But you know what? On their wedding day, I really think they were trying to make each other look bad. Like Mike put it on Emma being like it's up to her for her to make the decision. And then I feel like Emma said, yes, to make Mike look bad. That's so odd. Like yeah,

that's what it means. It happens often. Yeah. And if Emma and him did agree to say no, like I wonder what changed her mind at the altar. Like I wonder if she like got scared and she was like, why would I say no? I love you. I'm going to say yeah. Yeah. It just looks through him for a loop. But what a shit show that is. Oh my goodness. I feel like there's two reasons. She either wanted him to look worse. Not as a bad guy, but like to make it seem like, yeah, you know,

he's the one saying no. The second is like producers got in her head. And we're like, you need to say yes.

Imagine if the producers did pressure her to say yes. And then didn't pressure Mike to say yeah. And it's like where they're trying to create this type of scenario where one says yes and the other says no. That's like kind of crazy. I mean, I don't think that they should be married. I respect Emma being unsure she wants kids. I think she should definitely take her time on that. Whether it's a yes or a no. But I think it's okay to be unsure and like thinking through it.

Right? Like you don't have to have the answers right away. But Mike clearly wants kids. And so like, in this moment of time, they shouldn't get married. No, absolutely not, especially with the topic as biggest kids. Like, yeah, why are you even trying to pretend like, oh, we'll work through it. Yeah. You're not going to work through it. It's not going to happen. Like,

in this instance, love is not enough. But yeah, that's why I think Emma's wedding speech slash

vows was so weird is because like ultimately she was planning on saying, you know, and then it

kind of changed last week. You can kind of see it in her face too. Like, yeah, she kind of like shocked herself in a weird way. No, I mean, she was like going to be like, oh, Mike's going to be shocked. So she's trying to be like, I'm saying yes. Just like, you know, I feel like it was more like that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, I'm excited to see what happens after this. Yeah. Oh, I know. I'm so surprised also that they started with Mike and Emma as the first wedding. I don't know why that

the order of it. I for sure thought it would be thick and Christine. Because you know they're both going to say, yes, I feel like it's going to be like something real. Maybe they're saving they can Christina's that like happy ending, you know, yes, during the Valley episode. I just realized we spoiled the ending for Mike and Emma, but the finale came out today. So you guys would have found out anyways. Right. But wow, Emma switching it up. I know. I think it's less on Emma. I also

think Mike, I didn't like how he was like, it's up to her. It's up to her knowing that they are agreed to say no. Yeah. Prior to their wedding day. Like that also. I'm like, hmm, I don't really like that. Yeah. Mike. So well, who else do you think out of the couples is going to say, yes, they can Christine. I feel like there's no way they don't get married. Mm-hmm. A green amber and Jordan Jordan. What do you think? I think they say yes. I do too. Yeah. I feel like they have like a

little tip, but then they're pretty good throughout the show. They had good communication. So I think they will end up saying yes. Brittany and Devante, absolutely not. Oh, no chance. Yeah. Alex and Ashley. Nope. Nope. No way. No way. I wonder if they even make it to the altar. I think they would put actually they do. I think I saw the trailer. Yeah. Yeah. I think I saw in the preview. Which,

Ashley, girl, you should have just not even bothered. But listen, some people, they're like,

we'd show our bridal dress. We're doing it. We're doing it. Here we go. Yeah. Oh, what are season already? I just, this is so much better than last season. I agree. Yeah. They saved the better one for season 10. I feel like a lot of it is like the drama and the complex characters. Mm-hmm. Yeah. As a season's going, we need the drama. Yeah. Otherwise, who's interested. Like Chris, yes, he's

Crazy, but dang, he gave some really crazy scenes for the show.

engraved into my soul. And I honestly, I think I would pay a lot of money to get it removed.
