Now, it's Red Eye Radio, Gary McNamara, and Eric Hurley talk about everything from
“politics to social issues and do some of the day, whether you're up late or you're”
just starting your day, welcome to the show from the Relief Factor Studios. This is Red Eye Radio. All across America, we are Red Eye Radio. He is Eric Hurley and I'm Gary McNamara. Another attempted assassination of the president on Saturday night, and also you could say his cabinet. We know that when I woke up it was the top story. Obama doesn't know
the motivation, but it's like, what are you talking about? He made it clear. Apparently,
the smartest man ever to be president of the United States. That's right. Did not bother
“to look at the evidence so far that exists, which is in the, exactly the alleged shooters”
own words. Yeah, and they're calling it as manifesto, but this note that he wrote to his relatives, and along those same lines, here's from CNN, a headline, and I did a screen shot of it, because they often, when they're doing live updates, they often change the headlines if they get any pushback on it, but here it is. White House says suspect in correspondence, dinners shooting wanted to target Trump officials. The White House says, did you read it? And then it goes into it
about how, of course, the White House learned it, and how the investigation is going, and it's like, so you guys aren't doing anything. You're just waiting for the news to come to you with CNN. You look stupid when you write headlines like this. You know, it's just, it's, and what we have seen here over the weekend, as this was playing out, many of us here in New York, Texas were also watching a developing weather situation, a deadly storm that
system that had come to our area. So things were going on simultaneously, but this this thing was playing out, many of us up late because of that weather, but also because of this news that was
“breaking, and the fact is, is that through the radical, less indoctrination, not just indoctrination”
in public schools or universities, it's the indoctrination by, by the group of individuals that are like-minded. We've talked about this for years. How a conspiracy is one thing, and sometimes, it is a conspiracy and people are working together. But the more dangerous part of it is the like mindset. And I thought to myself, look at the assassination attempts of this one president. Look at the violence from the left. Look at the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Look at all of this. You can go back to Steve Scales. You can go back a long ways as this mindset was being formed through this cultural indoctrination of the radical left to become violent, to tell them basically to teach them how they should manifest their anger. When you look at it, you know, you can go back in the history of American politics,
and you can see the back and forth, and politics in this country has always been, you could
look at it and say, a pretty brutal sport with accusations going back. The difference that you have today is that the over-the-top absolutely over-the-top absolutely false bizarre allegations against this president, they believe. That's the differences people truly believe that Trump is Hitler. Yeah, you know, that he would do what Hitler, he they know. He's not, well, I don't know, maybe they think he's really, really reincarnated. I don't know. But when you
look at the allegations against Trump from the very, very beginning, you know, as we've talked
About, and as I mentioned last week when I'm much of your winner, or I know y...
I met a few other people that were Democrats that have no idea what's going on. They have these absolute opinions of Trump, including Russia collusion, which we know is all false,
right? Never happened. Right. They still believe he's a traitor from Russia collusion. Yep.
Yep. So that was a total of four people that, you know, four different people in a week. And for me, I'm always searching for that person. I'm always searching for that person on the left because the people on the left don't talk much. But it was the exact same thing that we have gotten every single time. Whenever we talk to somebody on the left, we say, well, this, this happened. Oh, I don't believe it did. Well, here's the evidence. I don't believe anything that I read.
“But then how do you know what you believe is right? Right. Where are you getting your information?”
Right. What are your, and they give you this blank look, they don't even know.
It's, and so we have a public on the left that is actually believes, you know, you look, we, we, we, we mock it in a way that no king's thing, but they actually believe he's a king. Yeah. Yeah. And, and, you know, it's like, well, he's breaking the, well, in, in the manifesto. Everything you saw of the manifesto with the letter, the relatives or whatever you want to call it. Right. Uh, he was making the exact same points that mainstream Democrats make every single day
against the president. Yes. And they're all false. And we've said their false. And we
“said a long time ago with the Hitler stuff. We go way, way back with it, even with Bush.”
We said nobody buys that, you know, Bush is Hitler or whatever. I said, but using that rhetoric
over and over again, as they have now, Bush was an office. Yeah, 25 years ago, 25 years ago, until now, a quarter of a century, I've seen over and over again, your Hitler, your Hitler, we said, if anybody buys it, if they truly buy into it, we saw this decades ago, then what they're thinking is the opposition will just murder people. Yes. And, you know, we, we saw that with the, with the, with the, with ice, ice executed. Ice didn't execute anyone.
No. They're like, they can stop, but they're just executing people on the street. Right. No, they're not. That's not accurate. Right. Right. And no, if you look at what's at the heart of the shooter's notes manifesto letter to his relatives, you see the whole no, no kings thing. Yeah. You see the same thoughts that you see at all of these protests that get all of these people out there. And so, and then behind that is the energy that says,
and it's a mandate that silence is violence, doing nothing is violence. So, if you do nothing about it, you're part of the problem. Well, how is someone who was capable of doing what this person did, according to everything we've learned so far about it? Think about what it takes to go through all of that, that entire process. Of course, it was going to happen. If you say it often enough, you're going to have some, of course, not all, you're going to have
some that are going to take it to this level. And it only takes, and we saw this, the day Charlie Kirk was assassinated, one person to follow through, be able to follow through to the end,
“and that's what happened the day Charlie Kirk died. And if you're part of, because there is,”
we've been saying this since October 7th, it applies across the board. On one side, the radicals, on the other, everybody else, if you're voting for the radicals, you're part of it, you're part of that mindset, you're part of encouraging this indoctrination. And when you see for example, when you see it, the no, you know, for example, the no kings, and you talk, when you talk to people and you're like, this is completely delusional. It didn't,
this didn't happen. It didn't happen. And when the people are confronted, well, I don't believe anything that I read. And then how do you come up with your opinion? You
Are paying attention to something, and you're not doing any type of fact chec...
Trump is a dictator, and we've become an authoritarian dictator country, that is 100% inaccurate.
We have not. And what they're saying is, since Trump puts out executive orders that's challenged by the courts, like Obama did, like, remember Obama losing on the, what was it the, recess of the point, the recent appointments, nine, nine. And they really, they blasted him for it. Yeah, every president, that's called the separation of powers, every president puts out executive orders, and the courts look at all of them that does not mean that we have become a dictatorship.
“We say things, for example, when somebody says, well, I'm a patriot, and I believe in the”
Constitution on the left, and we said, well, no, you don't. You're not a patriot, because you actually don't believe in the Constitution. And we've had those discussions. What is a patriot? If you're somebody who says, I believe that the whole Constitution is wrong, then what do you a patriot of? Right. When you don't believe in the separation of powers, when you believe that we should pack the court, when you believe that judges should not
interpret the law, but should make law. Right. When you believe that the Senate shouldn't exist,
when you believe that the Second Amendment shouldn't exist. The electoral college shouldn't exist.
The electoral college shouldn't exist. When you believe that the first amendment should be
“much more limited than it is right now. Right. When you go through these things,”
these major tenants in the Constitution of the United States, and you say, no, it's all wrong. Heard it last week again. I forgot what Democrats said it last week. It was a Democrat representative. The Constitution means nothing because it was made by old slaveholders. That's inaccurate. But that type of rhetoric is what I don't need to support the Constitution because it was a bunch of races to put together, that put it together,
therefore it's a racist document. Yes. It is not. Not the first time we've heard it. No.
They use any, any in every attempt to try and dismantle the Constitution. Living, you know, years ago is a living breathing document. No, it's not. No, what is that one? That was, that was big in the, like the 80s and 90s and 90s and 90s. It's a living breathing document. Uh-huh. It is. Right. Wow. Are you in that, uh, not, not code pink? What was it, uh, the, uh, the ones that, uh, I played it last week when you were out, the, uh, as, you know, because of Earth Day.
Mm-hmm. Remember the, uh, the tree hugger's earth first. And look at this rock. Yeah. But what if a light this rock has the same thing as a living breathing document? Yeah. Exactly.
“No, but it is. And, and they, you know, you bring up the word Patriot because that's what”
this full circle when it comes to indoctrination, it requires those people to believe the individuals who become so radicalized that they're willing to, in fact, in this case, attempted to pull off an assassination, going through all of those measures to get there, you've got to convince them that they're, the hero, that they're saving their country, that they're, the Patriot, that they're doing something that no one else is willing or capable of doing in the moment.
All of this is part of nurturing that radical mind to the point of action. And when you look at the manifesto, it's everything that the mainstream Democrats have charged the president with. Yes. Which, which is inaccurate. Right. Which is not true. And it's like exactly. And so, whatever you want to say, well, what cost him to do it, I can't tell you, I don't know what's inside of his brain. All I know is,
he made it clear. He wanted to assassinate the president of the United States and anyone associated with him in the White House or the cabinet, because all of his arguments were the false accusations of Trump that you've seen in from mainstream Democrats. Yeah. Yeah. All of it. Right. And the authoritarian, to dictator, to traitor, things you're still saying. Yep. Things that'll be saying, this election cycle, the next election cycle, long after Trump has no longer president,
They'll be saying it.
evidence and say the evidence, which is the alleged shooter, the alleged assassin. And what he wrote, not 20 years ago, no, just in the hours before he did the shooting. Right. Two his family. Yes.

always have their personal vehicle and company credentials organized and ready. The top two violations written against drivers every year are log general form and manner and log not current. Both are completely avoidable if the driver keeps the log accurate, compliant, and current at all times. Having the vehicle ready for inspection involves the driver conducting daily inspections and making sure any problems that are discovered are immediately corrected. Vehicle readiness also requires the
“company to make sure that the vehicle is current on all scheduled maintenance and that the maintenance”

Thank you for being here. One of the things that we've always said before that when you look
at where liberals are today, when you look at identity politics, which is the new racism of today. Yeah. When you look at judging by people by groups and not individuals and when you look at the misogyny and the sexism of the radical transgender movement that is fully embraced, both of those are fully embraced by the mainstream of liberalism and the democratic party on the federal level. When you look at it, except maybe for federal men and one or two others, that's it.
And you know, federal income is how strong we against it and his polling numbers have cratered with Democrats when he's just being normal. Right. Just normal and so. But when you look at it, if you if you practice identity politics, if you practice the politics of envy and jealousy, as we've talked about, you know, you can't make it life because a billionaire is keeping you from getting there. Right. When you practice the all those three together, the misogyny and sexism
of the radical transgender movement, the racism of identity politics and the victim of presser relationship where you hold very high, you know, in your mind, the traits, the horrible traits of jealousy and envy, all those lead to hate. Yep. They do. They do. It's also how you govern during a pandemic that clearly became as we as time went on. Something that wasn't nearly as dangerous as they said to most people, especially young people, when you start to, when you have that mindset
where you can build that fear. And at first, we didn't know anything. But then beyond that,
the pattern of behavior of the virus, we understood, well, like a lot of viruses for those who are elderly or have underlying medical conditions, it's especially dangerous, but they went even further with it, so that they can govern and that's exactly what they do. They govern by fear. That's exactly who the left is. That's who the Democratic Party is. The mainstream radical Democratic Party. Hey there, I'm Paula Pan. on your favorite platform. You're listening to Red Eye Radio from the relief factor studios.
And I'm Gary McNamara, along with Eric Hurley coming up in a minute and a half more on the attempted assassination on Saturday night of the president and his cabinet because that was the goal of the alleged perpetrator. We'll get to that just a minute and a half. You know, when it comes to supplements, I look for a couple of things. I know you do do two. Of course, we want to know that it works, right? We want to know that we can trust it when I started taking relief factor. I knew I could
trust it because friends of mine that are on the radio, just like me, have been endorsing relief factor for over a decade. And I know with those folks putting their name behind relief factor was a big deal. So I trusted it right away and I know that you can too because I've been taking it for quite some time before taking relief factor. I suffered with aches and pains from aging from
“wear and tear over the years, the jogging for years. And that's just kind of how it goes, right?”
Well, you don't have to live with that pain. Thanks to relief factor. We're talking about 100% drug free pain relief with relief factor. And you can get started with their three week quick start. Check it out. It's just 1995. Go to relief factor dot com or call 800 the number four relief. That's relief factor dot com or call 800 four relief. Use red eye at the drop down for your three week quick started 1995. Here is the the president. I want to play this audio cut from
Saturday night. The first time in the past couple of years that our republic has been attacked by
a would be assassin who sought to kill. And by the Pennsylvania less than two years ago, you know, although that's so and in Palm Beach, Florida, a few months after that, we came close. We really had again, we had some great work done by law enforcement. But in light of this evening's events, I asked at all Americans recommit with their hearts and resolving our difference peacefully. We have to we have to resolve our differences. I will say
you had Republicans, Democrats, independents, conservatives, liberals, and progressives. Those words are interchangeable, perhaps, but maybe they're not. But yet everybody in that room, be proud, record setting crowd. There was a record setting group of people. And there was a tremendous amount of love and coming together. I watched and I was very, very impressed by that.
But we were first laid in our taken very well care, very quickly, very quickly rushed off the stage.
And as has been brought up, first when I saw was Jonathan Turley yesterday saying,
“none of those secret service agents have been paid in over 70 days.”
Yeah. Yeah. It's which is also part of this part of the hysterics. Think of what's keeping the Democrats on Capitol Hill from funding. They're lying. They're telling the same lies we've been talking about this morning and I've been talking about for a long time. They're building fear through lies and people's minds. And they believe their version of taking action is not funding. That we can't be a lawful nation when it comes to enforcing our
border or in this case of even protecting a president that frankly they care nothing about. This is who they are. They will take action at every single opportunity. Whether it's lawful or not in their mind, it is justified and that it is part, it is one in the same.
“Because their entire reason for not wanting to fund secret service is the same”
thing for TSA. Yep. Is the fact that they do not want to fund ice. Right. They want open borders. Lawlessness. They want sanctuary cities. Yep. Where the illegal immigrant
Criminals freedom is more important to Democrats than the safety and security...
And if story, there's no way you can look at sanctuary cities. Because sanctuary cities is not about, well, should we reconsider the entire visa system and how can we be more kind or more, it's got nothing to do with that. That's about protecting illegal immigrant criminals. And that's when and how many times have we said, if you've listened to this show, we need to be willing to listen to the other side. Listen, we wouldn't have a show if we weren't
listening to the other side. We're always playing them with the other side things on a consistent
basis. We're making sure other people listen to the other side. We're not attempting to sense
“of the left at all. And so what we've asked the question, where is the compromise?”
There isn't any. Because nobody's asking that question. There's no middle ground with the radicals for me. Because you're going to have a lot of people not come on, go, well, you know, we both sides need to come together, but that's the coward's way out. Show me the path for all of us to come
together. Right. On every single issue where the Democrats are absolutely delusional
from the norm of society for hundreds and in some cases, thousands of years. Right. Tell me where? There isn't any root for it. I mean, there is no room for middle ground. There is there is no middle ground because they won't have middle ground because they're not
“going to budge on the issues. They brought the Democratic Party along with them. The most radicals”
the mainstream Democratic Party is full on radical. Now, I call it the coward's way out
because it's like, I don't want to get involved in the minutia of it. I actually don't want
to take a look at all the issues. I feel much better. And I feel very content if I just say, well, both sides, I'm not radical left. I'm not radical right. Everybody just needs to come together. There is a place where how? Tell me how? Because to me, that's the coward's way out. What is it requires you wearing blinders? Right. I really don't want to know what's going on. I just want to pretend that I'm of those higher morality without ever getting in to the details
and the dirt is getting into the details. That's where you've got to have got no. This is what
“we need. We can't go this far. This is too radical. You need to get to the specifics of”
of the issues. And when it comes to right now, why secret service? Which, by the way, was there protecting Republicans and Democrats and media people. The reason they're not being funded is because the Democrats want open borders. We saw it during the Biden administration. Yeah. And it's not that, well, the Biden administration didn't do a good job in the border. They did a wonderful job on the board. He followed through on a campaign promise. Their job was to open it up
a lot more to let everybody in. So they did a wonderful job on what their goal was with the border. It wasn't Biden, and it's been a string. Oh, Kamala Harris. And she was supposed to be borders iron. She knew because she couldn't do anything about it. No. Biden through her. I hate to say this. I hate to portray Kamala Harris as a victim. But Biden through her under the bus. Yes. All right. We're going to open the borders. You pretend you're trying to solve the problem.
And then only gave her 117 days to run. How dare he do that? It is exactly as intended when they, and again, the Biden pulled it off. It was very easy. It was chaos for border patrol agents for those that had been trained and had been on the job for years in many cases that were given orders to just wave them on through it. And let's have a lawless society. When people, when American citizens start dying at the hands of violent criminals who come across our border
By just walking across the border.
who suffered at the hands of these violent criminals. They care nothing about it because the agenda is to create chaos, lawlessness, not a lawful society, quite the opposite.
“Remember when the, the store, the daylight looting, open looting of stores just started happening”
and the, the liberals who were just excusing it away. AOC. Well, they're just, they're just trying to feed their family. Yeah. Yep. And all that, that was actually part of the turning point for people like Michael, the, the, the, a rapper, a rapper. I just had his name in my minute and then just, it drew a blank. Michael rapper, and when he, he was a, an angry liberal. Oh, yeah. And now, he's angry, but he's angry because of, and what he talks about it. We don't know why it took
so long for him to see it. We can't tell you that, but at least he says my eyes were open
“to all the lies they were telling me. And if we as a nation don't start making different choices”
because this is what happens in building out that fear that this man is Hitler. He's a king. You have no control over your life. You have nothing. The billionaires are helping him. The oligarchs are helping him coming from a guy, Bernie, who honeymoon and in the Soviet Union, he wants, they want you to believe Trump is all powerful and capable of the atrocities of Hitler. They build that fear. So at the very basic level for people who maybe won't be radicalized
to the point of violence, they are still the activist because don't you dare pretend to be against Trump unless you're willing to be an activist because silence is violence. They said it. That's their rules. And we don't write them. We just pass it on to you. This is who they are.
“You know, the last thing we want to do is hide what the, the Democrats believe. That's why we play”
it them so much in their own words. So you can't say, well, you guys just interpreted rock. No,
here it is. Right. Here's what they, here's what they believe. Right. And that's why we've said
for the longest time because then we hear it when especially Hollywood people. Well, you know, I'm not too far right. I'm not too far left. Yeah. I'm right in the middle. I'm a, what do you call it? What do they say? A radical middle person. Yeah, radical moderate or whatever radical. I'm a, I'm a radical moderate. Yeah. How does that mean? Get into the specifics of each issue. Right. And they won't do that. It's like, well, that's, and you're going to hear a lot of that now this week.
We all need to come together. My question is, how? Right. Because on each issue, how do you come together? Right. How, how do you, are the liberal activists and newsrooms going to change? No,
no, no, we always do. They were, no, they aren't. They're not going to change.
Barry Weiss has their hands full over at CBS news. I don't know what you do because I don't know how you find actual journalists. They're only a handful of them relatively speaking. So I don't know how you turn that huge Titanic around. But that's just part of the picture, the overall picture of the radical newsrooms across America. They're part of carrying the water for the radical left because they're part of it. We are right. I radio. We'll be right back with more red eye radio
with every currently in Gary McNamara.
We are right. I radio. He's our currently in Gary McNamara to make our point that we always want to
Promote with Democrats.
Speaking of the acting attorney general, you heard him just tell me that this should be a wake-up call
“for Congress to fund DHS. Does Congress need to act in the wake of this incident to fully fund DHS?”
Absolutely. We've been funding the Democrats. I've been saying we want to fund DHS. We just don't want to fund ICE agents with the ICE raids against American citizens. It's a lie. It's a lie. It's a lie. Again, it's a lie. Paddling fear with lies. It's not hard to see if you just open your eyes and realize what's going on right there. They're promoting it. Probably promoting their lives. “Now it's Red Eye Radio. Gary McNamara and Eric Hurley talk about everything from”
politics to social issues and news of the day. Whether you're up late or you're just starting your day. Welcome to the show from the Relief Factor Studios. This is Red Eye Radio. All across America. We are Red Eye Radio. He is Eric Hurley and I'm Gary McNamara. Well, that was an interesting Saturday night here. It was an interesting area. It was. We were all of us here in North Texas watching a very strong and what ended up being deadly storm system
that moved through. It was interesting. As that played out, then started getting the breaking news out of Washington of the shooter at the White House Correspondence dinner. And so it kind of came
“together as a very eventful evening here locally. By the way, I just want to say thank you to”
everybody who's written me and shared condolences for me and my family with the loss of my brother. We were on Saturday afternoon, laying my brother to rest and it was a beautiful and peaceful ceremony. And I told you, it was especially difficult the moment the marine kneel down and handed the
folded flag to my mom. It just became super emotional as it always is, but it was very peaceful.
And we gathered at the house after that at my parents' house. And we had literally carloads of food just pulling up in front of the house. Neighbors, friends, local business leaders, delivering food to my parents is often done in the case like this. And then the storm system actually, because that's about two hours north west of here. And the storm system had started, they actually, we are actually there. This is Wichel Hall's Texas. No stranger to tornadoes
had a major tornado in 1979 and other one back in the 60s. And so when we pay attention here in North Texas, because they can like a lot of parts of the country get very severe very quickly, we had small hail, a piece size hail for about two minutes. And then this guy started to clear and I decided to get on the road. I ended up taking a different route home because of the storm system.
And just after we had left the house, it had spawned at least one tornado. And then we finally made
it home, safe and sound, torrential rain pour. But our area saw a couple of tornadoes again. And a fatality reported, they say, one of the tornadoes was stronger than the other one, but this storm system is quite often what we see in a very dangerous storm system with hail, a large hail in parts of the area here in North Texas. And then as you mentioned, the event or the night became more eventful as it went on with the breaking news, my wife actually came to
me and said, hey, have you because I was looking at radar on my phone. And she said, have you seen your notifications? And so I pulled down the notifications bar and it was already full

happened to look at my phone when I saw it. It was trying to keep up to take during an event.
“And then, but the, and then the storms too because there was, it was really interesting because”
as I was driving home from it, probably between 930 and 10. And all all night at the auditorium
that I was at, you could see outside. There was lightning, I mean, it never, it didn't, I mean,
I'm talking three, four hours, but no rain, nothing. You could just see the lightning everywhere, and I went home the same thing. And by the time I got home, it was like, oh, okay, this thing is moving in our area. And this was the first system that was the first system and the system behind it. Yeah. And the, the first system's coming through and it's like, okay, it's coming right. I'm right in the middle. It's like, if you took where my, that the little blue dot is of your house,
the DPS where you're sitting and you're seeing it's right in the middle of, of where it's coming down. And it, and they kept showing, no, it's going to then turn northeast them. And I'm not getting
the system. The heaviest stuff was like, because I zoom right in the radar was like a mile and a
half or two miles from me, and it completely turned and went northeast. Yeah. And it just brushed us where we got just a tiny bit. I mean, just, maybe five tiny P size hail, I could hear hitting the chimney. And that was it. And then nothing. And then the second one that was causing the major hail was, again, that second system was coming right down, but by the time it got to four worth, it had lost a lot of its power. I mean, they were dying as they were going through
DFW. So I was able to go to save it. I didn't get sleep like between probably some time between 130 and 2 AM. Yeah, we were up very late. Yeah, because it was just like, it was low, but it's when you
just, this time of the year, you just start, it's amazing. Everything stopped. Everything was weather.
Yeah. Everything, I mean, a node TV, you know, it's boards, not that. Yeah. It's like, okay, everything got the phone, got the TV, going back and forth between the different services. You know, it's really interesting, the number of amateur meteorologists out there on YouTube. You know, to say, yeah, it's when a storm pops up. It's what's interesting is a couple of them
“are meteorologists. Yeah. And one of them, who I think does a very good job in covering, he has been”
out there on YouTube for a while, Ryan Hall. And he's not a meteorologist, but he knows the weather. You can tell that he's very familiar with systems. He knows the language. He knows how to read weather systems on his equipment and what he has available to him. He also has colleagues and meteorologists that are part of his entire crew and team, but they have spotters that are out there in my wife and I on the way home on Saturday evening, she goes, well, are we going to
do some spotting today? And I looked at her and I said, well, we'll have to go further west. She goes, you know, I was just joking. We're not looking to actually be a spotter, but there are there are people. And I've actually gone out with back in the day, with weather spotters. And it's it's it's very intense in watching it. You know, there was the one of the tornadoes in Oklahoma City years ago, watching it as as a live spotter was online. And it was just eye opening
as they come up on the rubble moments after the tornado had hit. And they said, I've got it, guys, I'm going to keep the camera on, but I've got to, I've got to go help these people. And that's exactly what many of them become. And, but it's yeah, it's the live coverage is just about everywhere. And then you have now every local TV station has their own app, you know, I actually love that. Yeah, and you can get, it's funny because I'm looking at the weather radar on my phone and
comparing it to the TV and they've got a different, you know, one of them had a different system that that I was looking at on my app. Yeah. And, and so they could see the hail where I couldn't, they could see it more distinctly. But I'm looking, I go, is that a bow looks like a bow and you know, when they have the bow there, right, in a system coming in, that's when it might be, you know,
“circular, you know, circulation in a possible tornado. And I'm like, am I reading that right?”
Am I reading that they haven't seen anything? And all of a sudden they said it, and I went, oh, okay, I'm getting pretty good. That thing died. They died hook echo. I think the hook echo. Yeah,
Hook echo, bow echo, I've heard bow, whatever.
through the area. I put a picture on my ex-page yesterday at Gary Rattie One. And it's,
“you look at it. It looks like a massive tornado when you actually look at the supercell. Well,”
you look like a massive, like a tornado that's like, you know, 50,000 feet high. You know, what's interesting is 50 miles wide. The town we were in, which saw falls where we were from my brother's funeral in April 10, 1979. They had a tornado that was a mile wide at its base. A mile wide at its base. My aunt, who was there at my brother's funeral on Saturday,
my aunt Diana was in the car with her, with my cousins with her children. And the tornado picked
that car up and set it down six times, six times. And so when you grow up with hearing stories like that or being near a tornado, which I've been, I don't know how many times, you understand,
“I think everybody has a full understanding of these days, especially with the media. This is”
what's great about technology is that you can get even though those tornadoes can be spawned very quickly. You still get a pretty fair warning on the conditions for the tornadoes. And what they'll, when they tell you that, then that's the time to start paying attention. Conditions
are right for this. When we were driving, I mean, the wind in the rain was unbelievable. And I
decided to take that more northern, more easterly route home. I was doing so because a lot of times with the, and I've seen a wind, a rain wrapped tornado, but it doesn't look the same as what you would see like often at distance where there's not rain wrapping it. And it was starting, you know, the sun was starting to set and I said, I don't trust this because there may be a tornado somewhere again far west of where we are at the moment, but the system is capable of responding those tornadoes
tornadoes very quickly. And so I decided to change my route and I was happy I did. So we go by, in fact, on our way home, typically go by, not far where the two tornadoes touched down in wise County, which is on the way home. And so you get very, very close to it. I've been stood under a funnel cloud before it touched the ground. And it was one of the most frightening moments. It was actually in the cul-de-sac where my parents lived. And I was there and it was a
Saturday afternoon. And their retornado warnings in the area a couple of days had already seen that it touched down. I went outside because I thought the weather had started to clear and that the risk was diminished a bit. And the sirens went off. And I thought, well, maybe that's wind and I looked straight up. And it's just frightening and sure enough, not long after that. And I ran back inside. We got in the closet. And not long after that, just minutes after that one,
very small one, but it touched the ground. And an unpopulated area briefly. And it's just one of those things where you, when you see it, you understand you're not in control in that moment. The one time that really scared the hell out of me, and this was back maybe about, I had the cat. So it must have been 2016 or 2017. Saturday night in the house. You know, we're having storms all over the place. Yeah. Some tornadoes going through like south
Arlington, whatever. And all of a sudden, they say, okay, we've got rotation here. And it was like south of Venus, Texas. Yeah. And it's like, okay, this thing is the rotation still there. Okay, it's coming down. Now it's going back up into the clouds coming back down. Right. And it's coming through and then all of a sudden, it's about three miles from my subdivision heading right at us. Yeah.
“And I remember, you know, looking out the back door, I'm looking out the back door and the wind's”
blowing like crazy. I mean, all different directions like 50, 60, 70 miles on our winds,
Just unbelievable.
so funnel cloud, as I'm sitting there, standing there, all of a sudden,
“everything stops completely. Yeah. No wind at all. Yeah. Nothing. Yeah. I went holy crap. And”
I grabbed every grabbing the cat running in the the most center bathroom had a little, my little, this little mattress from a little cot that I, you know, like a portable cot. Right. And jumped into the bathroom through it over us and just waited. And the winds came back up again. And it was gone. And they said, it was about a mile from me. But it went back up into the clouds again. Came over us. And then landed at the local airport. Right. You know, just, and that's not a
big airport, but just landed at the local airport right along the, you know, the tarmac. And then went back up and then it disappeared. Yes. Several several years ago, one touched down not far from the studio. And it was, and that was odd, because I had been outside before the
“sirens went off in front of my house and I looked over toward our studio. I don't live very far.”
And when you see it, you know it, but it's this green tent to the clouds. It's just, don't know how to, it's not part of a rainbow. It's just a weird looking color to the clouds. And all of a sudden, as I was standing out there, sirens started going on. And we just booked it for the interior closet. And wow. But yeah, still assessing the damage here in North Texas, from the global tornadoes over the weekend. And we are certainly in
severe season. We aren't right. I radio this morning's USDA farm report is brought to you by house products tested, trusted guaranteed since 1920. Fundig is now available for one of USDA's primary support programs for research and development in specialty crop agriculture. But according to Rachel Beldick, an associate director within the National Institute of Food and Agriculture,
we now have $175 million in funding, which is significantly more than last year. Simply put,
more funding needs. We are able to fund even more of the meritorious proposals that we have. A two-step application process is now underway. With a pre-application section, followed by a full proposal and scientific review process. Having that relevancy review, really ensures that the research and the extension and the different education issues that we are funding through the specialty crop research initiative is truly meeting the needs of producers.
The application deadline is June 15th. More details are available at www.nifa.usda.gov. Type in specialty crop research initiative in the search bar to reach the SCRI information page. We're running around here. He is there currently and I'm getting Mac. The mayor. I just happened to have a grab my phone. I saw a note from the next door app, you know, which is your neighborhood? Right. Yeah, yeah. It's just got nothing to do with anything we're talking about, but I burst out laughing. The woman wrote, "Is it normal to park in front of someone's house and come onto your porch to charge their phone?" I'd say, "No." She says she's waiting
for the school bus, but she's been out there 35 minutes so far charging her phone on my porch. But if it's someone, if if you're in a car, if it's age appropriate, well, if they pulled up in a car, if it's somebody who's waiting on a bus and was dropped by the car or like a parent, waiting in the drops of the child at the bus stop. When I lived in Del Rio,
it never got cold. Maybe once or twice a year. But our bus stop was at the top of the hill on
our street and the house that was in front of had this great porch so if there was cold wind, we would all, I don't want that porch. And I don't remember knowing that neighbor,
“but if it was a school student, I think to myself, okay, that makes sense. That's just like a”
school student. I just plugged my phone in here. When my neighborhood was younger and I'd go out my front lawn and the kids were playing soccer on my front lawn. And they all looked at me and I
Kicked the ball and then played with them and it was like neighborhood kids, ...
they're not causing any harm, whatever, but this was an adult in a car. But she said the car pulled
up waiting on the school bus. Yeah, the car pulled up in front of the house. We first school bus,
car pulled up in front of the house. The person got out, came up to their porch plugged in their phone into the outlet on the poor. Oh, maybe they were waiting for their child to get off. Also they're right, but you can charge in your car. Yeah. Well, depending on the car, I guess. It's a good thing you have an overcar, maybe not, right? [Music] Yeah. All right, listen to this question. Okay. Okay, here we go.
I hesitate to ask you about this, but as you know, these conspiracy theories out there on the left
“and the right that the that was staged or that it didn't happen. What did less I didn't know?”
That, yeah, that it was because it was your first time there or that Butler didn't happen. These conspiracy theories that are gaining traction on it. And October 7th didn't happen and World War 2 didn't happen and the Holocaust didn't happen and many things didn't happen. Yeah, knowing here, I don't know. I think they're more sick than they are, con people, but there's a lot of con minutes and I haven't heard that last night didn't happen. What usually takes a little bit longer,
yeah, usually they wait about two or three months to start saving. All right, now, uh, anybody in the right say that that, uh, no, as she said, both people in the left and there didn't mean that so I think the entire thing of both of both sides. Now, I will say this. Why is that even a question? Why would you even entertain that question? The questions that I had, okay, what do you number one? What do you know about the shooters or anything? No,
here's what we, here's what we've been told, here's what we know, is there anything else? We should know.
Now, that's about basically everything that we know here. Okay, here's a concern that I have. Why are so many of the of those in the succession of power? Why were they there in a hotel? You know, you had like seven out of eight, uh, uh, you know, there. That would be a question for me,
“you know, that because I think that's an important question. I'm concerned about that, you know,”
and we'll play the other coming up from Thederman where we said, I never really understood President Trump's push for the White House ball room. Now, I do and a lot of talks been put on that why are they doing stuff at hotels? Right. You know, where the president may now, the president hasn't been going. So the security wasn't the, you know, wasn't the same as the president goes. It changes, but, you know, you and I've had the discussion before the show started today in our
pre-show meeting about hotels. I'd stay away from hotels. It's, it's a tough place. If you are, you, no, if you're at the ball room, I mean, the security is the best in the world.
“Yes. When you're, when you're at a hotel, it's never the best in the world. Right. Right.”
Too many variables you can't deal with. Well, it's, again, uh, it certainly solidifies the argument for a White House ball room reinforced, uh, measures basically to keep people safe in the events that the White House controls. And where the president is going to be is something the White House
always controls and should and take, and they should take it very seriously. There's a lot
being written about the security laps from Saturday and how it came to be, uh, stories about how the, even the alleged shooter writing about it, how easy it was and how easy it was and he was surprised and even alluded to, uh, it being a prank on him that it was too easy, almost that he thought maybe he was being pranked something along those lines. But when you're in a hotel situation and you look at what hotels are designed to do, they're not going to have, we learned a lot from
The Las Vegas shooter.
up to his room. And the question was, why wasn't that a red flag? Well, if you look at the, the industry of conventions, the industry of, and, and towns at host conventions, right, well, whether it's DC or Vegas, you're going to have stuff that's brought in. It could be video equipment. It could be, in order to facilitate going through all of that stuff. Now it's very different in in Las Vegas if, or anywhere, if the president isn't going to be,
speaking isn't going to be a part of that event. I've become so much more secure when the president is going to be there, obviously. But they're still not equipped. The hotel isn't equipped to do that. They're not, they don't have the manpower to do that. The point is is that the White
“House has to take, I think right now, we all have to take a look at where a president is going to be,”
especially this president, giving multiple attempts on his life. Now, and, and whether that's going to be a secure place. Now that it did happen after Pennsylvania, it did, it's, it's happened. They, it's become more secure. But in, in a hotel situation, like what you saw, it's a, it's a massive hotel. And they said, well, one of the basic things was when people were handing the tickets over, they weren't checking ID your credentials to make sure that you were who you
were, basically, you know, show us some ID along with your ticket. All right, we can have certainly
have conversations about that. But, you know, how much of that, again, what have stopped. And if someone is a, would be killer. Someone is planning to kill. We talked about this in the wake of other things, other events, then they're going to work around whatever they can,
“which, again, is why you make it ironclad. And I believe the Secret Service clearly did their job”
on Saturday night. The manpower was there. Despite of not being funded, it's still a situation right now where you're going to have these moments. And I think the office of the president
has to decide basically where the president is going to be and, and how public he is going to be.
He is a public servant. He has to be in the public. He has to be in the public, public eye. Again, the system for protecting him works. But when it comes to hotel conventions, you're not going to or gatherings. You're likely not going to have much change because you're, you're just not going to be able to equip them properly. And that's just the nature of it. It's, it's, the, the Las Vegas shooting, what came of that was a hotel is not going
to go through people's backs. They're just not. And that wasn't a presidential event. So security is different. Considerations are different. But people were asking similar questions. And it's, well, how do we know it's secure? How do we know it's secure? And they're in a free society. We, we know there are certain risks. And those are all legit questions. But to bring up the conspiracy, I'm just like, stop it. You don't need to do. Why do you entertain a question? Right now, I've experienced
“secret service twice. Yeah. Uh, no. Three times, I forgot. Yeah, I went to both bushy inaugurations”
in D.C. Yeah. So, but I remember the first time because the first time was when I did my local,
well, I don't know if it was, I don't think it was my local show, but it was, we did a co-broadcast with our sister station in Washington, W. M.A. at the time. And we did it for the actual inauguration, the parade, like we did a dual broadcast, right, both played on both stations. And then I remember the inaugural ball with Bush's would have been in 2001. I was like in the orchestra pit near a stage where I was doing my show. But, and I was only feet for where the president came out,
I forgot who the, I can't think of who it was, can't think of her name.
talk show host on. And I'm arguing with her. We yelling at each other. And I'm yelling at her.
I got my head set on. And it's really crowded and music's playing in the presence right there. And yeah, it's probably about 30, 40 feet away from me. And I'm yelling, I'm doing a radio show.
“It's like, yeah, I got to be quiet because the president's right there. But I remember that was”
extremely strict. But I was so busy. I didn't notice it as much as when I did, this would have been in 96 when, uh, uh, uh, uh, dual and camp, uh, became the nominees for the Republicans. And I was asked to be the MC. Right. And it was at the University of Buffalo Stadium, which is a state in the Fits about 25,000 people. Well, I had to go the day before. I had to get, you know, you had to get the secret service. The background check, the FBI background check. I had to go onto the FBI office and do that.
All set in there. You know, probably two hours to get that all taken care of. Then the next day, I had to be in the stadium, like four hours before the event began. Right. Yeah. Because once you had to be there. If you were there inside the secure zone, which means I'm going to be on the stage. But yeah, then you had to be there four hours before. And when they shut everything down, nobody could go in and out. And they went through the entire stadium with dogs and detectives and
everything. And I couldn't leave at that point. I was there until the end. You couldn't come in after that point. You couldn't go out after that point. And I went, okay, that's security. And there are hundreds of of of security people there. Maybe not all secret service. Maybe, you know, other state police and everything following what secret service one of them to do. But it was a lockdown. Right. And they weren't, again, it was the nominees. It was stolen again. Right. Yeah. And I was
quite impressed with their professionalism and the numbers and the number of people that were, you
“know, that were there. So the first time I went through it, I think it was 92. Dan Kueil was in town.”
So I had to go through it then. And I remember also being in Louisville when Dick Cheney, who was president, vice president at the time, the real president as they used to say, vice president at the time was in Louisville. And we were there for a trucking event, a truck show. And he was speaking at an event at the hotel adjacent to ours. Couldn't get into the, couldn't get back to our hotel for several hours. It was like, ain't going to happen. And so, and it was, I don't know if that was
because of the way they had it set up the security on the perimeter, which basically covered the
perimeter, you know, to hours to get to our hotel. So we had to stay basically, stay away. We couldn't get there. Why didn't they have to show ID to get in? Saturday night. That's a question. Well, that, no, very important question about, you know, you're going to have a number of people there along with the president, if the president chooses to go. But you're going to have other ranking officials in the administration that are going to be there.
Aren't there some basic steps? These are all very good questions that you could take. Now, again, also, are you going to do a background check on everybody who's checking into that hotel on that, on that weekend? No. And what would the background check have seen for the shooter, the led shooter here? All of those things, again, you know, I mean, it's because in a world where they're going through everybody's social media pages, there's your background check. But the question is, do they have
the manpower to do a background check on, I don't know, thousands of people? We are right, I radio. Coming up more with Gary McNamara and Eric Hartley. It's Red Eye Radio.
“We're on our radio. He is a crony and I'm Gary McNamara. And, you know, remember that when Trump”
first took office, and this would have gone back to April of of of of 25, and remember the, the,

that was when the poll was done. Let's not forget, remember, 48% of people left of center said it would
“be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk. Right. That was back again in April of”
2025. And 55% said the same thing about Donald Trump that it would be somewhat justified to murder Trump. That's the assassination culture that exists. But why, why does it exist? Because the rhetoric
is actually believed by those people. Well, the election, I mentioned Elon Musk and it was either
in the poster as manifesto and and and brought that up. That's, they believe this. And Luigi
