I'm Brendan Steinhouser, CEO of the Alliance for Secure AI.

We're a coalition of patriotic Americans who want to stop AI from taking our freedoms.

Big Tech is propping up AI-powered masks surveillance and exploiting our children online.

This is not the future we want.

The Alliance is working hard to ensure that we put Americans first.

Join us at SecureAINow.org to learn more. Payed for by the Alliance for Secure AI. Welcome to Relatable. My dad is here filling in today's talk to you about all kinds of things. But before we get into his episode, let me remind you to go to sharethearos.com.

If you were a Christian woman or if you are a woman who is trying to figure out what Christianity is, this would be a great conference for you. This is a teaching conference in a quicking conference. A no-fluff, no-high emotion, women's gospel centered worship conference. You are going to love it.

Go to sharethearos.com, get your tickets today, October 10th, Dallas, Texas, that's sharethearos.com.

Also, let me tell you about my friends at Olive. Olive is a food scanning app that allows you to see what is really in your food. I'm talking hidden toxins like lead. You've got seed oils, dyes, additives, all kinds of things that the labels won't show you, but Olive will.

Download all of that today. Hello, everyone, how's everybody doing? I know you're surprised to see me again, but Ali is traveling and asked me to step in for her today.

I'm always happy to do that.

My name is Ron Simmons. We're going to talk about several things today that are, you know, they're serious stuff. And we have serious stuff going on in the world today. We know that the Iran war is still going on. I do want to do a quick shout out to our friends in Australia who are giving five of the

Iranian ladies soccer team asylum because evidently they did something in either a photo or a video clip that showed some defiance and they were worried about their safety if they went back to Iran. So things are going on there, you know, they have named a new Supreme Leader, which washer wouldn't want my name out in the public.

You can bet that our friends from Israel are already looking for that guy and evidently he's the son of the former one that just passed away and is radical if not more radical than his father was. So it's okay. We're going to finish the job.

We've already crippled their military might no matter what they say. They're trying to do some stuff in the straight of horror moves, which is at the bottom of Iran that kind of has shipping going through there. But we're going to get all that straightened out and we'll talk about the economic implications of that a little bit later in the show.

But what I want to talk about starting out is there was a terrorist attack in New York City and something that we've heard before in our lifetimes for sure and something that

if we all remember 9/11, how many of our fellow Americans that were murdered on that day.

But this was a really more of a scare, luckily no one was injured any seriously at all. And on March 7th, which was just last this past Saturday on the Upper East Side, where the mayor's mansion is, they call it Gracie Mansion, there was a protest going on by a group of about 20 people that was a don't let Islam take over our country. And then there was a counter protest called Stop the Hate, get the Nazis out of New York

City. So they were calling all those people Nazis. And then there were two people that were affiliated with that counter protest, at least supporting of that counter protest that had built bombs and threw those into the crowd. Now luckily they didn't ignite.

But they did attempt to cause major damage and major loss of life if they could have.

The protesters were, the first one was an 18 year old by name, a mere balat and from

the Philadelphia area. And here is Sot One that shows what this guy was doing now. Think about the timing, he's perfect actually. Listen to what the guy says and then see what happens right after he kind of quit stalking. Now obviously the guy that was speaking wouldn't planning for that to happen, but he had

Just said we want everyone to come to New York and stay in New York and then ...

kid, a mere balat, throws a bomb over his head and the bombs had a lot of nuts, bolts and screws and it had some type of accelerator that would have caused them to blow up and scatter and but luckily it didn't ignite and then they ran off after that.

So it's just really incredible.

And another 19 year old by the name of Abraham Nick and he also had a bomb and through it and then they both ran off but then policemen were able to get them. They were denied bail thank goodness on terrorism related charges with the federal government stepped in and did that when his terrorism becomes a federal crime and they also had stated in their own that they were pro ISIS supporters in fact he said ISIS was his the ISIS was

his reason for acting while balat set to set total officers that he had pledged allegiance to the terrorist group and they when they were asked whether he's they sought to emulate

the 2013 bombing, balat reportedly replied no even bigger and remember there were three

people killed in that bombing in 280 injured so these these weren't kids that were just playing around coming to New York City for a prank these these were serious radicalized Islamist both of them grew up outside or spent the last several years anyway outside of Philadelphia they lived in very if you look on the internet they lived in very nice homes looking to

be million dollar plus homes so it's not like they had been oppressed or anything like

that in fact their families had done well by us rolling out the carpet for them to come to the United States police later found their vehicle near the scene they actually came over together so it was coordinated and had a few metal cans and handwritten list of chemicals and components for bomb making it's really unbelievable when you think about it and the officers of course we thank them they ran towards the danger and were able to apprehend them she

also said that there this was a commissioner just a test commissioner in New York that there was no direct link between what they were doing and what was going on in Iran that was just the radicalization of two guys which is very sad and Pam Bondi said they've been charged federally there's a full-screen picture of this guy that the two the two people that were throw in the bomb and the charges that we filed from a federal level have been the material

support and resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization as a maximum sense of 20 years use of a weapon of mass destruction that's a mass that's a maximum sense of life in prison transportation of explosive materials you can get ten years for that transportation and receipt of explosive that's another ten years unlawful possession of destructive devices that's another ten years we'll see what happens I think that they will be dealt with pretty

severely under this justice department and unfortunately you know for those two young men whose

life was in front of them that's what they should get and I hate that really I mean I really

do hate that but that's what happens when you make those decisions quick pause to tell you about our first sponsor for the day it's a del natural cosmetics I love a del so much use it every single day I don't talk as much about their cosmetics it's not what I wear when I'm in the studio but in my everyday life when I want that medium to light coverage when I want to look moisturized and glowy but still really natural I use my a del natural cosmetics I love their

moisturizing foundation they'll even help you color match if you reach out to them to make sure that you get that perfect blend but I love that it just makes me feel rejuvenated awake and nice

and glowy but I also love their skincare line I rely on it every single day I love their essential

cleanser I love their essential moisturizing spray I use it on my frownies that's what I used

to try to stay as youthful as possible it's awesome plus this is an unapologetically pro life Christian family owned company that hand makes all of their talks and free stuff in Texas go to a del natural cosmetics dot com use code alley you'll say 25% on your first time purchase a del natural cosmetics dot com code alley uh this all ran man dummy the first Muslim mayor you know here's what he said right after this happened this was a viral protest rooted in white supremacy

Entitled stop the Islamic takeover of New York City I'm the first Muslim mayo...

anti-Muslim bigotry is nothing new to me nor is it anything new for the one million or so

Muslim New Yorkers who know this city is our home okay did you hear what he said in the first

sentence it was all about white supremacy what happened to peaceful protest there's not one word about the people that were saying don't islamaphah America that they that they're doing anything but peaceful protest in fact most of the other protests on the other side were peaceful as well but it wasn't about white supremacy it was about radical Islamists that's exactly what it was radical Muslims that hate America that's what that's what the that's what the creed of radical

Islam is is hate America and meaning hate means they believe everybody we're all infidels therefore we should die we're like a dog almost not just a regular dog a manji dog you know that is a threat to other people and so that's what the mayor came out now he's softed that up in the last few days but it doesn't matter what usually comes out of your mouth first is

what you really think remember that what comes out of somebody's mouth first is usually what they

really believe then on top of this in the irony of all ironies on monday night Mamdaani done with mott mood colio who was the Syrian national who made headlines last year for being arrested at a pro-Palestine protest at Columbia University remember that where they locked themselves in and this guy was a radical pro-Palestinian and he spent three months in a Louisiana detention center before being released but that's who it is shouting death

to america and all that that's who the mayor of New York City right after there was a terrorist attempt was dining with on monday i mean you can't make it up having a nice meal probably lots of security around them where you couldn't get in there right incredible I can't it's just dogs you crazy also our friends at CNN and in bc they really couldn't figure out what to say about this easier in fact we have a screen of what they first came out with here's their first

tweet I'm gonna read it to you for those that are listening two Pennsylvania teenagers crossed into New York City Saturday morning for what could have been a normal day enjoying the city during the abnormally warm weather don't you just have really butterflies and fluffy clouds in your head right now but less than but in less than an hour their lives would drastically change as the pair would be arrested for throwing homemade bombs during an anti-Muslim protest outside of mayor

Zaurian's Mandam Mam Donnie's home here's what we know so far and so then they go on to have a

report they had to delete this post because their own media analyst came out against and said this is you may have the story right but the way your process was totally wrong and you notice they said a anti-Muslim protest they didn't say anything about the counter protest you notice they didn't talk about that where the actual you know problem came from but they deleted it and now they have new story to sympathize with this and here's what they put up since then a post regarding the two

individuals are as to for throwing homemade bombs outside in New York City mayor Zaurian Mam Donnie's home failed to reflect the gravity of the incident thereby breaching the editorial standards which I'm surprised they have any editorial standards to see in any more we require for all our reporting it is therefore been deleted good for them that they did that but you know what again what they probably thought was the first thing they said that's generally the case but not to be

out done our friends at ABC news had something to say as well didn't even call him a bomber here's

what here's what they said an activist an activist explaining what's happened holds a homemade

explosive before throwing it towards police during their protest organized by far right influencer Jake Lang against a ledge is his lombification in front of Gracie Mansion again not even mentioning at all the counter protest call him an activist rather than a terrorist telling you our media is such an

issue it just is it's crazy so anyway let's type us stuff is pretty scary I think those two guys

are get what they deserve but ABC news already also reported on some Iranian sleeper sales and the US government has issued a federal alert to law enforcement agencies warning of it intercepted encrypted communications likely originated from Iran potentially serving as an operational trigger to activate sleeper assets obviously we need to be extra diligent all right we are in a

Military fight with a foreign power again as I said on Saturday not necessari...

country of Iran but the radical islamic islam's that lead Iran and they lead other organizations like the Houthis and Hezbollah and Hamas those are really that's where the issue is not with the country per se and this alert is based on preliminary signals of transmissions relayed across multiple countries shortly after this assassination of the supreme leader so we have to be diligent that's

the main thing there's always risk obviously is risk walking out the door getting in your car

whatever but we need to be so if you see something unusual make sure that you're reporting that or if you hear something unusual you know some type of words being said if you're out in the crowd things like that make sure that you're diligent for that and then you know because we also not into not only the New York City but if you remember week or so ago they had an

there was an Austin shooter in Austin Texas and I think we have a screenshot as well of this one

that was called had a sweatshirt reading the property of Ola he killed three people wounded

14 after firing from his car into a bar near the University of Texas and the police were there

in about 57 seconds they got there really quick they were able to eliminate the threat and eliminate the man and then there were flags and photos and the attacker's apartment of the Iran leader so you know everybody likes to belong to something and I was listened to a podcast here recently about a lot of you will not know this but some of the people my age were remember the kidnapping of Patricia Hearst who was an heir to the Randall we and Randall Hearst

you know riches I guess you would say well who had a huge media empire long time ago and she alone's media stuff but she was the granddaughter and who was kidnapped by some terrorist organization and then she actually you know she was rebellion against her parents already so when she got inside of that a lot of us believe although she has denied it that she kind of became a part of that organization in fact she was she went on a couple of armed robberies and what

have you now she said she was forced hard to believe that that she was forced for that long but anyway I'm just saying people like to belong to something if they can't belong to something good

they'll belong to something bad so that's what's happening with these people and who knows what was

going on maybe you know the guy in Austin was mentally ill I think the the two boys in Pennsylvania you know had just been listening to the wrong stuff looking at the wrong stuff on line and you know just have gone the wrong way so anyway it's a sad situation I'm glad they were able to catch these guys and nobody was hurt in New York next sponsor is voice of the martyrs so there is this book that voice of the martyrs this

organization that fights for defending persecuted and martyrs Christians around the world that they publish it's called hearts of fire too and it shares these real stories of women around the world who are following Jesus in places we're doing so as dangerous to their lives they are threatened with imprisonment with torture even with death and yet they are preaching the gospel unapologetically we need to remember these women we need to be rejuvenated in our faith by their

stories and also just reminded to pray for them every day that's what we are called to do to pray

for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being persecuted around the world and so make sure that you go to violim dot org slash alley get a free copy of hearts of fire two see what Jesus is doing through these women around the world that's violim dot org slash alley now the next thing we want to talk about is the Save America Act we've heard a lot about that lately that's really been in the news and it is it's called safe guard American voter eligibility and

let me talk just for a second why this is so important the base of all republics or democracies

we we actually are in a a republic all right which means we elect officials to represent us a democracy is where everybody has one single each individual vote for the government itself but in a republic it works a little different but the goals the same thing is that really the

Powers and the people but when if the base of that power is being able to vot...

people that you want to run the government that's really the basis of the power and so if there's

anything that makes that not as accurate and as safe and even as transparent as it should be then you don't really get the government that the people want and people talk about well it's such a small thing it's not something to worry about look if if I have a voter in the area where I live that's an illegal voter and let's say that he or she votes for someone different than I vote for then my vote's all automatically been canceled so I've been disenfranchised for no good reason so

I believe that we have to root out every smidgen of illegal voting every smidgen and sometimes

maybe it's done unknowingly maybe somebody moves and they don't change their address quick enough so they vote in the wrong location I'm talking about just kind of within a city and those things matter because what some people vote for in one part of a metreplex area maybe different than the other people are voting for especially on the local local level so the safeguard American voter eligibility act introduced by senator john corner and our senator from Texas senator Mike Lee who

is from Utah and congressman chip roi from Texas requires individuals to show proof of citizenship when registering to vote this is where the biggest issue is and I've said this for a long time in Texas I did not I filed a bill to get this taken care of but it didn't get through all of the minutia in the legislature and that is if you right now in Texas and in most states

when I register to vote I basically just I I do give them some information that they should be

able to verify but I'm essentially signing an affidavit saying I'm eligible to vote there's not really any follow up done on that all right and what we need to put into play and what to save

that puts into play is that you have to prove your eligibility to vote you prove your citizenship

you prove that you're where you live and that type of thing to in order to even be able to register as a legal voter it also it also would require photo ID when you go to vote all right and it also would require states to remove non citizens from voter roles with that's important as well to include any non citizens because they're out there how they got on there who knows but we need to remove those remove those as well now president Trump has really stepped out on this one and here's

what he has said I want to read this true social post and he put up there good job by hardworking Scott Pressler on Fox and Friends talking about using the filibuster or talking filibuster

and we'll talk about that in a second as well in order to press the save the America Act

an issue 88% of all voters says we must have it must be done immediately it supersedes

everything else it must go to the front of the line I as president will not sign another bill until this is passed and not the water down version go for the gold must show voter ID and proof of citizenship no mail-in ballots except for military now that's new illness disability and travel right now in the most states like in Texas if you're over 65 you can do a mail-in ballot no man in women's sports no transgender utilization for children do not fail president Donald J. Trump now I don't

know what the last two things although I agree with him on those issues obviously you know that already from listen to Ali and I in the past I'm not sure what those have to do with voting but but maybe in in in the Texas house you couldn't do that because those would be not on the same subject but the federal government they could throw stuff in there that's not related to the underlying bill and president Trump has urged Senate majority leader John Thun to use a talking

filibuster now what this means there's two types of filibusters the original filibuster was talking meaning that if a senator got up to speak that he could not be interrupted or taken off the floor in other words they couldn't recognize anybody else until that senator was through speaking and so if they could if they could do it they could speak for hours upon hours upon hours and the whole idea is to speak long enough to wear either the clock runs out and they can't pass the bill or to get the other side

to negotiate and acquiesce to some changes that they won't make in the past though is only our federal government could do is they've just said hey I'm gonna filibuster that meaning that they don't require you to talk they just say I'm gonna filibuster it and until they lift that filibuster there's no vote that's gonna happen and it requires 60 votes in order for filibuster to end and that means

That if we have 53 Republicans we have to have seven Democrats with us so the...

being talked about is that we get rid of the requirement to have 60 votes on certain legislation

and we do have that on some things but most things require 60 votes and that is an advantage to the minority and Republicans have been in the minority in the past and we've used it to stop some pretty bad legislation but I'm of the opinion that we're supposed to be a majority rural country that all officials get elected by in a majority manner or at least they have the most votes you know we pass bills actually even the bills in the Senate once they get to 60 votes

to be able to have the vote that's good it's a vote to have the vote the bills pass by majority and I don't know why every bill is not passed by majority yeah that might bite us sometime in

the future that's still the right thing to do the majority should rule people don't elect

don't do all the work to elect a majority of their party in a particular legislative session and to not to be able to use it so I think we ought to drop the filibuster and the 60 vote requirement all together so we don't know what's going to happen with this because they're trying to all at the same time move other priorities like we remember the the part where Homeland Security is still not funded during where we have in spring break times you can see some

of the weights and airports three four hours because these people aren't getting paid some of them aren't showing up because they're not getting paid maybe they have to go do another job to make money to feed their family and the Democrats are the ones out of the college for this if you wait in line at an airport call your local Democrat because that is who's stopping this

from you all right if you wait and they hugely long line that's what's causing it they all want to

get more Iran security funding and other mark the new DHS Secretary Senator Mullin they've got his nomination coming up that needs to go through the you know why I mean go through Senate as well so it's already passed the House multiple times and therefore you know hopefully it will pass the House in the future or pass the Senate and I'd like for him to pass the House version I know President Trump wants a little more but if you pass the Senate that hit the

version that he wants in the Senate you got to go back to the House and there's always risk when you do

that now the Democrats are are opposing this of course the Democrats are opposing us and fact our good friend Chuck Schumer is maybe the biggest hypocrite I've ever seen but here's what he has to say the same act as Jim Crow 2.0 more than 20 million people would lose their right to vote you would need

to register either a passport or your original birth certificate how many people have that?

I mean Jim Crow if you remember the Jim Crow laws that were keeping people from voting in the south where they would put these ridiculous things but having a having an identification is not one of those as a matter of fact I've written today that somewhere around 90% of the people that are eligible for them have driver's license in the U.S. or some form of state or government issued ID so they're talking about they're it's what we call a red hearing meaning

they're throwing up something to get attention that doesn't have any facts based on it. He also claims Senator Schumer did that Ela this will allow Elon Musk to determine who can vote now let's see how he pulls this one out the rabbit out of his hat. He would purge the voter rolls using a AI system set up by Musk and Doge so you could show up at the polling place this November and they'd say you're no longer on the rolls they don't even notify you of it.

Millions of people would be purged from the rolls because of this system that Musk and Doge put in. You're only going to merge people from the rolls that are in eligible to vote. And if you've done the right thing in your U.S. citizen you're going to be eligible to vote. Now you may get purged from a roll in one state because you've moved to another state that's the way it should be. If you moved to that other state and you didn't register shame on you there's a

duty as a citizen everything's not given to us on the silver platter some things we have to actually do something for and it's not the government's fault if you don't go do what you're supposed to. So get a grip Senator Schumer.

All right third sponsor is Hillsdale College okay if you want to get not only smarter which you

should many of us have been scrolling too much and so maybe your brain is atrophied and sometimes you're like I don't think I'm as smart as I was in high school or in college you don't want that you

Want to get smarter and smarter every day but you also want to get wiser and ...

how to apply your knowledge that's what I love about Hillsdale College they're not just offering

information to their students whether online or in person but they're also helping you become biblically wise I love that they offer a bunch of free online classes you can learn about the genesis story on an in-depth level you can learn about the rise and fall of the Roman Republic the federalist papers there's a course dedicated to the works of CS Lewis this is the kind of stuff that just not only makes you more knowledgeable but fills you with the kind of discernment

that God has called us too and they're free so all you have to do is go to Hillsdale.edu/relatable

in roll no cost to get started Hillsdale.edu/relatable. Hillary Clinton our good friend who by the way has still not called me to come on the show and talk about her attack on alley a few weeks ago in that article but Hillary Clinton claimed on ex that Republican voter legislation specifically to save America act back by President Trump would make it harder for millions of Americans about particularly married women portraying

it as deliberate suppression what they say is once you get married your name's changed all right and as this says house passes elections over hall bill that could make it harder for married women to vote now this is so crazy because first of all there are provisions if you've recently

married and your birth certificate which it would never match your match what they have on or your

ID doesn't match they have other ways to reconcile that when you go to vote you can you can have you can sign an affidavit you can bring other proof of information that you know your marriage license that type of thing no issue with that now let me ask you this if you go to the airport and you have a driver and you don't want to fly which by the way 75% of women have flown only 80 just a little different demand means 82 women 75 in fact over age 50 70% of the

women are flyers is that incredible that's that's I was surprised at that so if you go the airport and your and your ID doesn't match the name on your ticket because you've gotten married then what are they going to do you can't fly so what if people do they get that taken care of all right and again if it's within a few months or something there are other ways to to show that who you

really are it's just again it's another red herring that you need to push back against if any of

your you know won't friends are talking about that it's just it is it's just incredible

Democrats including Clinton and House members suggest that the bill with disenfranchised married women whose birth certificates do not match their married names which is just not a true statement Republicans emphasize that the legislation includes explicit provisions to accommodate name changes without excluding eligible voters so come on we've got that we know better than that the bill allows we could tend to use a variety of documents including passports real ID's

military IDs or birth certificates I looked it up I said how many people I asked hey how many people have either a driver's license passport real ID military ID or birth certificate 95% of people in the United States have that so what is the problem it's yeah it's crazy it's just crazy here's a couple of other things that the stats I wanted to talk to you about that majority of the women support here's the statistics okay and let me see here yeah this was the White House put these out

71% support to save America act including 69% of independence and half of rank and file Democrats 81% favor requiring voter ID and this is backed by 79% of independence and 70% of Democrats requiring voter ID to vote 80% want states to per 80% of people want states to purge non-citizens from voter roles 85% this is probably the most interesting statistic 85% agree only US citizens should vote in our election but if you listen to some of the far left woke they don't

believe that the mayor of New York doesn't believe that a lot of people don't believe that 80 or I

say a lot of people a lot of loud people it's not really it's a loud minority remember that

most things that seem crazy it's a loud minority that's doing it sometimes that's on the far left sometimes it's on the far right in a Harvard cap's Harris poll says there's a strong support for the

Save America act when confronted with a tradeoff here's the tradeoff should v...

stopping fraud over access concerns so in other words some people will claim and you can see on

this this page here some people will say hey do you support the or oppose the Save America at 71 to 29 supportive and then they say however which is the more important that we do everything possible to stop voter fraud or are we worried about eligible citizens can't or denied the ability to vote 54% so majority of Americans say hey it's more important to stop fraud than it is that a few people may not have the right identification to vote that are that actually are eligible to vote

I think that's fascinating I mean as is so I don't know why Republicans cannot use this especially in their campaigns to beat some Democrats this coming fall because it's just real it just is I mean it is it's something that they should be using just keep pounding and

depending I think that's why President Trump say anything you want to about President Trump the

guy knows politics as far as what moves the what the what the majority of people are thinking or what least what his basis thinking anyway he has a pretty good finger on the pulse of that so I encourage you that if you live in a blue state or if you live in a state that has a squishy Republican senator that you get in touch with them and you tell them that we won't this past and we don't care what it takes if it means getting rid of the filibuster or make him do a

talking filibuster that that's what you want to have happen and I encourage you to do that please please please do that if you don't know how to get in touch with senator just google it it's it's it's online it's easy to find next sponsor is paleo valley I love paleo valley especially

their grass fed beef sticks they use 100% grass fed and finished beef from small scale regenerative

American farms and so you're supporting American farms there and making sure that the snacks

that you are eating are high in protein but also really high quality these are the first

like beef jerky sticks that I've been able to eat that don't hurt by stomach that's because like the casing for a lot of the beef jerky is actually just not good for you it's filled with these ingredients that are preservatives that are bad for your body that's not true with paleo valley and I love all of their products whether it's their bone broth protein or their other protein powders I love knowing that they are top notch organic ingredients that are good

for you good for your family they have all different kinds of products that you can sneak into your

kids food to make it more protein higher protein and more nutritious for them that's one thing

I love about them go to paleo valley dot com and use code alley for 15% off your first order paleo valley dot com code alley all right now there has been some unease and I understand why about the economy ever since that we started the military action against the Islamic radicals focused in Iran and the the markets the stock market has been a little volatile there's been concerns about what it's going to be long term on the economy the oil process

shut up to 100 net went back to 90 some people say could go to 200 which I don't believe

but I just want you to here's what I want to tell you is that if you've got money invested

in the stock market first of all you shouldn't have any money invest in the stock market that you need within the next 12 months I've told you that before and that is just absolute good advice I'm sure I learned it from somebody else it's not my original idea but if you've got money in the market do not make any radical changes all right this is not the time to do that you hold steady this is long term investments and if you've invested in quality stocks like a standard

imports 500 index fund or a value fund or something like that or bonds just hold steady okay it's going to end up being okay if you if again don't ever have money in the market that you're going to need within the next next 12 months because that needs to be in a no risk no risk scenario and it could get more volatile you know gas prices have gone up average gas price in the countries about three dollars and fifty cents a gallon that's up about 50 cents and the last

week or two you know California or friend in California I'm sorry pay five dollars in 20 cents a gallon California $4.70 in Washington Kansas is on the low end it's a little still under three dollars here in Texas it's a little over three dollars I think that would get down to under three

Dollars all over the country here in the next you know a few weeks or maybe a...

so it's going to be okay some of this is tied the way if you go look at a map and the way you're

on is is situated on the map there it the they border an area and it's called the straight of her moves and it's a lot of cargo traffic goes through there and it gets very narrow in one of its places and Iran uses that as a threat and they have they haven't shut it off but a lot of ships are unwilling to go through there just a freight and we're working on that as you know

we've decimated the Iran navy so I think that will that will increase we also have to go

against the Iran proxies like the Hudies and what have you who try to help in that situation but right now that has reduced some of the oil flow through there but America's producing more oil than it ever has Trump's been on the phone with China to say hey we're going to help you get the oil you need because that was coming from Iran the same way you know Putin I mean Trump's also had a conversation with Putin trying to tell him hey don't get involved in

this conflict which I think is a smart thing to do again I told you you know you you may be and you're you know in your policy or political opponent you may be totally against something on this with them and I had this happen to me a lot when I had a legislator especially when it got to social issues I was bitterly against a lot of the Democrat policies but I need to work with them maybe on some transportation issues something related to roads and that's what President Trump

is doing it's you know we don't think China is our friend but if we can help them get something that they need that may make discussions and negotiations with us a little bit easier so

that's why they're doing that I think that smart to do that there's there is a little bit of

site that maybe we're kind of over the worst part or process is going down 5% yesterday and you know they'll fluctuate some more of the S&P 500 ended actually higher yesterday you know it's probably still down for the last couple of weeks but I think we're you know it's going to settle out you what's going on over there has not much of an effect on our economy really it doesn't have a huge effect on our economy it has effect on who we are as a world leader and it has effect on

promoting democracies around the world but it doesn't have a direct effect on the economy now we do need to be diligent as I said earlier about you know radical Islam over here there are individuals that definitely are have those issues associated with them here as it's been proven in Austin in New York City but for the most part it doesn't have a huge effect on us last one to for the day is good rancher so I talk a lot about how much I love good ranchers meet

how much I love supporting American farms and ranchers but just let me hone in on the convenience aspect of getting all of the meat for your family on dry eyes to your front door every month it is just one last thing I have to think about I set up my subscription I picked I picked the meat

that I want in the box it shows up on dry eyes I get my better than our unit chicken breasts I always

get my um my bacon I get my ground beef those are my staples and then sometimes I'll change it up I love their seed oil free chicken nuggets sometimes we'll throw some seafood in there but I really love the basic versatile stuff and I don't have to worry about getting that the grocery store it also saves me a lot of money over time but it also just frees up my mind it gives me some storage space for thinking about other things plus I have one piece of every dinner every night

already accounted for I've got a freezer full of all American meat and it just makes my life easier go to good ranchers.com use code alley you'll save $25 on your first order good ranchers.com code alley

we're going to get the listener questions we like listener questions time it's again always

some great questions I'm going to get through as many as I can the next few minutes and again you can always email me [email protected] and if you've emailed me and I haven't got back to you within a couple weeks email me that again because it'll get back up to the front of my email box now apologize for that had good response after Saturday's episode in fact there were people email me that wanted to get one of my books which I'm which I'm happy to mail to them and you know they

send me a check for the $20 price or what heavy and I'll sign it for them which I'm happy to do

and if you want to do that feel free to feel free to email me and let me know all right how do I

discipline my two-year-old daughter did you spank do you regret how you were how you discipline yes we did spanking our house I don't know that we did it a lot but we did do it

At least a little bit with the wooden spoon occasionally when they needed it ...

usually only when it was you know what we considered at the time serious stuff and it I'm sure it all stopped by the time they were eight to ten years old but I have no issue with that and I sometimes you know the little pat on the bottom is important that that has to happen in fact on the way over here today my grandson who's here with me in studio today asked me what did you ever get spanked in school what did they had they discipline people in school and I

said well sometimes they spanked you and I did get a couple spankens at school I didn't like it at all but we did we should have that I don't know if you even do that anymore at school but it was they did back in my day all right how concerned are you about midterms well I'm

I'm always concerned about an election in fact there's only two ways to run

and they used to tell us when we were when we were campaigning is either run on a post which you know you're going to win or you run scared meaning that you do everything you possibly can I'm convinced that we if we do everything we possibly can and we have the right messaging and we quit fighting among ourselves that we'll win the the Democrats have the lowest approval rating as far

as I remember that they've ever had and so it's it's it's it's up to us if we want to win if

the conservatives want to win we can we can still hold it and I'll tell you if you think things have gone pretty good so far with the policies that we've been putting forth during this first year if we win the midterms it's going to be even better it is going to be even better promise you that corner impacts and have the better shot at beating Tala Rico I think Coran does you know returning general packs and has some baggage with him a lot of people talk about

Coran and not being as conservative as they want them to be nobody's ever perfect but I do believe if you really look at his voting record that he has a good voting record since Trump since Trump's been in there and in the other times as well it's probably some things he voted for that we wouldn't agree with but calling him a total rhino I think is not right either now senator pack if attorney general packs him if he if he end up winning the whole thing in the general election as

well he will vote correctly for sure absolutely he'll vote correctly but I think the Democrats would have a better chance of beating attorney general packs than they would soon recall and that's just

my personal opinion might not even be alleys opinion but you ask me and so that's that's what I think

are we going into World War III no we're not going into World War III and what makes

prayer powerful God already knows this plan so how do our prayers affect that well God wants

us to communicate with him it's just like anything all right I know that my wife and kids love me but I still want to have that communicated and I want to have a relationship with them and yes God is omnipotent but he gives us free will and part of that free will is what are we going to do in the situations presented to us and when those situations presented to us one of the things that we do is we ask God for guidance and he readily gives it be just like just like one of my

kids or grandkids asking me as a father or grandfather hey pop up what do you think about this or hey dad what do you think about this alley and I go through this all the time just so that I do

Daniel and I do you know what's your thought on this doesn't mean they always take my advice or

always consider I think they always consider my opinion they may not always follow it but that's okay

that's it's their life it's their role and I think God looks at us you know the same way so I think I do think it's very important that that happens all right a few more the idea for another topic would be the Christian take on de-extension and colossal I think that's I think right on that but probably something that alley would be better at than me she's got such a vast knowledge of things like that I think that might be an interesting deal how did I meet Ali's mom well

two times I met her the first time I didn't I don't remember it she remembered it she was in a beauty page it when I was a high school senior and I had my knee hurt when I at my home coming game of my high school year I was playing linebacker and I got hit and tore my ACL so I was in a cast and then a friend of mine was uh had his neck hurt that game so he was in a neck brace and my girlfriend not not my wife but my girlfriend at the time was in the same beauty page it

and we went up while they were practicing the day before the beauty page it to I don't know what I went up there for maybe we were gonna get together afterwards and uh I guess Lisa was standing around and she said uh what happened to y'all we're all in an accident and we said yeah an accident

Was strong and strong was a name of the little town who we had played in that...

got hurt all by the way we won that game just chasing somebody's wondering we were hit 24 to nothing

and then we ended up winning 24-22 and this is so funny right after the game both stands and this is probably it's a small town but there were probably 4,000 fans that ran on to the field half from strong half from Johnson City and they got in a fight in fact our mayor hit their coach now you got to love that I mean that's the truth the next morning's paper said uh mayor Tommy Wilson no coach such and such from strong took what appeared to be a short left jab

to the face before hitting the ground from Johnson City mayor Tommy Wilson I mean you can't make

it up it's the true story and for the next decade they didn't even play each other because

because of that so anyway that's how we met and then we met in college we were freshman in college

together and we met there we had psychology and biology as classes and both of them worked we ended up getting married about a year and a half later and and now going on 46 years in about another week will have been married 46 years so really cool thing all right let's see here does a song good neighbor belong in worship set during church that's an interesting question I don't know I don't really have a problem with that it's probably not quite as

biblical or spiritual as you and I would want it but I don't I think it's how people take things

right it's how what what do they mean in that I think God does want us to be a good neighbor for sure but in the atrospect and in the worshipings expect of worshiping God or praising him probably not the best selection but it's not something I'd get I'd get two hung up over favorite NHL team well it's a stars of course in fact my grandson is here with me they were going the stars game tonight with our other son Daniel and a friend of his were going to the stars

game tonight they're playing Las Vegas I think and we're looking forward to that they got a good team so we love the stars we love the hockey team these these two hockey teams this year the men and the women is at one the Olympic gold that's really really good so anyway it's been a good time I've enjoyed being with y'all Ali of course will be back this is just just out of town for a little bit it's the kids spring break and stuff so I really appreciate you listen I

want to remind you that if you haven't gotten Ali's book yet toxic empathy especially in the time we're living in right now it is so spot on on how she talks about how the left uses our empathy against us and they make us feel like we're the toxic ones when it's not the case at all

and that's what you know man Dommy was trying to man man man Dommy I don't want to call him

man Dommy anyway that's what he was trying to do and he said it was a white supremacist is the reason that the terrorist attack happened in New York City he's trying to use it against us okay don't let him have a get her book it's really really good and if you want to know more about me and some of my things that I've learned over the years life lesson from the little red wagon again you can get it on Ali's merchandise side also Amazon or if you want to sign copy you can email me

can work that out but you know I had a co-author in this or not a co-author but a helper in this and they just such good storyteller it's much better than I could be on my own we would talk for an hour and hour and a half on the phone he would ask questions Lisa would help me think of you know

remember some stories and he just did a great job in putting that together I think you'll find a

very easy reading fact I had I was at a men's Bible study last week and the guy came set the friend of mine set down was I was hey I've been George been in the last week and a half with you I'm like what are you talking about I mean we we had been out of town he said I just I was last week and have to read your book and I really enjoyed it so anyway don't forget your tickets to share the arrows thanks a lot we'll see you next time
