This is the Dunleba partial with this Tugat Spotcast.

This episode of the Dunleba Tart Show is presented by Draft King's Strath Kings. The crown is yours. No pulse.

I just saw an assassin walking to the other room.

I saw all of you get out of the way a little bit. We have a guy who is a violent finisher of combat sports.

He is a strike first guy and he's built out of rocks.

I saw what just happened out there where a sea opened up to him as he walked in because it is a fighting machine that has walked in here. Ethan? Oh there he is. Oh boy.

Dan. He's got some mits on him. Want to shake his hand? I was like damn. Oh my God.

She was walking. No. No. The side. Well it's not just that they're big hands.

It's that their hands made out of rocks. Those are blunt instrument. He finishes fights with them. He's a violent finisher.

Yuri Prohask is the guy we're talking about who's fighting across the street at the Casay

Center on Saturday, April 11th against Carlos Ulberg for the light heavyweight title

and UFC. And he is a scary dude. He's taking our water machine for a while. He's trying to figure out how to use it. It is tough.

I'm just glad he wasn't here yesterday when that stupid ass water machine was doing April fools. I hate it. Oh, no. It does hate.

Just for my water. It just won't just be a flavor to the screen. Just stupid. Oh, we got the vitamin boost. That's what you do.

Yeah. That's the move. He's going cold. He's going to be careful. What he puts in his system before a fight.

We don't. If you better not have any Cuban coffee, he won't be allowed to fight. Oh, wait. We have Fuentes. Make some Cuban coffee for him.

He'll get banned. He will succumb in the face of him. Yes. This person bring him in here. Please.

That his leisure. Don't hurt him. Don't hurt him. Don't hurt him. Don't hurt him.

I request his presence in here. If he's going to put the door beep, if it. I mean, don't look down. But just so, so a mean knows this is a proud samurai who he honors the mixed martial arts by being an assassin striker in the fighting game.

And those guys are always unusual champions in creature.

And I mean, he agrees with me on all my he takes and my on Marlon's attendance. You're welcome. Thank you for being with us. I admire your violence. I admire your training.

I admire your discipline. Thank you. Hello, guys. Thank you. So you're fighting here across the street from us.

And what I've read about you, your training regimen is it seems crazy. Crazy for who? Ah, got you there, Dad. Yeah. Maybe maybe crazy for for somebody who didn't know that.

But what do you mean, especially? Yeah, I'm not rest assured, I am not questioning your training measures. I'm saying that to be great at what you're great at, the way that you punish yourself in training seems to take a mental strength that is really unusual. You know, every, every, uh, high level athlete, the sport on the top level is not so healthy,

not so, uh, usual, not so normal.

That's why we have to be like a little bit above the, like, the normal line.

So, and I like to go through the through these levels, what she's like, behind the normal. So why, why are they laughing, what, why are you guys that I admire your violence? I admire your violence, is it, do you get that compliment all the time? T-shirt. Yeah.

I just, I just see the video, yeah, the punching to the tree. Yeah. This is, like, you know, this is all me, this is all me who did all these stuff. And this is not all me, to, to punch and work on on my garden, but to do, like, sometimes I'm trying to do, like, really crazy stuff, like, to punching tree, and this is not

good idea. You know, like, uh, it's came from, uh, from the Japanese style to punching the Makivara. Makivara is the, like, a wood stick, you know, and they used that in karate to, to punch that and response from that stick is, uh, that give you energy back to the body. So you can, you can know where is the space, how to tense the body in the right places

to be stable, to have a right technique, you know. And, but also hardens your fists so much that they are rocks. So yeah, you can, you cannot hurt your hands on the spot, that's right. That's right. That's right.

That's right. And, uh, but it's not so smart to punch, like, the big, big tree, so like I, like I did on the video. So, so I changed a lot of things, but I like to do these videos, and, uh, be, be a little.

Well, what is this video here?

What is this, uh, this is dramatic breathing, and I work, what are you doing here? And I like the challenges, you know, I like the challenges, and this challenge was, especially one year back, it was a sixth April to 25, oh, this is terrifying. You went under ice water here, and you can drown at any point if you get lost here and how long are you underwater?

Uh, there was, like, 35, 35 seconds, 35 second, use, man, like, but you, you can, you can,

it's incredibly good. You can, yeah, it's terrifying. Yeah, it's terrifying, but it's about to calm the mind, and every aspect of your life. And these challenges gave me the opportunity to control myself as much as I can.

So that's why I do these things, and these challenges, like, last year, the swimming under

the ice was, like, you know, like, when you're trying something first, first time in your life, like, like, sex, you know, you know, you do that, and then you know, then you know, till that moment, you, you don't know, you don't have, he's right about that. You have just, you have just imagination, yeah, about that, but to, after that, you really know what is about that, once you do it, you know, you know about that, sex, yes, yeah,

about that. So, so that was the, especially these, these things, because it was really totally another world. So, you, you, you experiment, you search for these extreme training methods. What's one that you did, and after that, I'm not doing that again, which one of these?

Yeah, one, one that you did, and after that was a bad idea, I'm never doing that again.

Man, I will, I will do all of these things, but, but, what I learned, do it more professionally. You know, I did many times, like, I, I just took the, the back and, uh, all these, uh, equipment, and I just went to the mountains, somewhere, somewhere, I didn't take my, and I just went to the mountains, and I lost myself, and I just tried to survive there for a few days, and it was not funny, then it was, it was just not funny, and it was, like, just survive.

This is careless though, you went into the jungle to live for two days, if you had to kill your own food, and you had to find drinking water, and this is not smart. Yeah, this is not smart,

this is really not smart, and because you have to know the rules. But, why are you doing that?

You don't have a death, why is you're trying to challenge yourself? That's it, that's it.

Maybe that's it, that's why, because I'm, I'm trying to challenge my, my, my mind to, to stay calm in every aspect, in every, every situation, to become, to be ready for, whatever will come. Yeah, you know, and how dangerous was this jungle? Like what it, what are the things that happen that you weren't expecting as you're trying to be calm in all circumstances? Which, which one do you mean? When you're saying that you're spending two days in the, in the

jungle or in the forest for two days, trying to survive that you in, in a mountain, in a mountain, mountain, in a mountain, snow, mountain, no, no foods, not rocky, yeah, yeah. Any wildlife? Yeah, yeah, there are some wolves. I don't know, just some, I didn't saw anything, but just just, just get here, you hear, you hear something, something around your, your, your time, what noise you hear? Yeah, something noise, something like that. Yeah, something like that. Yeah,

yeah, that's something. Yeah, you have to stay, that's like, like I said, you have to stay calm,

you have to stay, you have to know what to do, because in another, in another case, you will, you will just, you will just freeze yourself, you know, you have to know what to do. When you were climbing that mountain and the things were happening in Mexico, back in the day, how was that for you? When everybody started telling you like, hey, there was like explosions and fires happening and like, you were on the top of a mountain. How did that feel?

You know, which mountain it was? It was, it was, it's a great sentence. Which, which mountain it was, as the rugged warrior that samurai says, I climbed so many mountains, which mountain was this? No, because there was a many mountain. I think in one of the, one of that was, it was not in Mexico, there was one too, also, but there was one in Iceland. One guy took me by Uber there to, to the mountain and, and he stopped and more, I, I can't go more.

You know, there is a snow, there is a bad, really bad snowfall. I can't see anything and the bad way and the mountain is not, not good today, because they, they just, they just know how to read the

You hate to hear the mountains, not good today.

So, so I went from the car and I said, hey, wait here for me two hours. I will go there and back and I'll be there. Yeah. And so I, I just ran to the, and I wanted to see the, the top of the volcano. You know, the volcano, but not far. So I ran, ran, ran, ran. A place a human being shouldn't be.

Yeah, I don't, I don't, I don't think so. I think I think that that was, that was something like,

but, but, not, not usually. So, it was successful. There's a path on the road or you just, you know, you just, you just see the top. You just see the top and you just go. This is the Dan Lepatart show with a two-gads. You insist on living thick because what you're doing when UFC 327 when you pour everything you care about into a single night because you want to be a champion you've been working for this night all of your entire life. You have something about you that if not a death wish wants to challenge yourself to the biggest possible, you know, embarrassment consequences

because what you guys do for a living is unusual kind of courageous to fight other men for money. We are warriors you know in all the cultures in all human history that was the this is the first

the sport this is the first competition of the man's you know that was the first competition

there was no football or hockey or tennis or whatever playing with a ball or whatever now there was a who better who's better me or you we found and we fight and that's that's the original that's the original that's the first one that's the essence that's the principle of the fighting of the competition yeah then it changed for a balls for for soccer for for whatever but the most primal of them is the fight the most primal is the fight yes and we gave the

some ethic ethic and some rules into these age to these fights so we have MMA here you have see and here we are what introduce you into training as well assuming when you started you were training traditional and then something told you I need more I need to go to the mountain I did swim under what frozen I have to do more to be a champion what started that for you fear

Fear I hate fear no no I don't hate fear I want to be I want to be so so in s...

with the fear to to see through him because he's just he's just shaking the mind he's just

shaking your emotion and asking you is this are you sure in this are you sure in this are you stable here here here here and I don't hate I hate this these the type of questions

inside myself to myself so so that's why I'm doing all these things and trying to be

a little bit closer a little bit closer day by day to the calm mind to to see see totally through so there's no such thing as fearless correct yeah that's it there's so but you want to be so comfortable with fear that you do not fear man I can I would like to say yes but but it's a daily daily work every day every day once you say I'm a master of that then you lost that because then you started to be then you started to be a man I don't need to do anything more no you have to

every day because every day there is a new challenge why are they laughing back there because they cut the deer because they're just nodding you're on the deer and they're trying to wake you about fearless this is guys comfortable fear and they show Jeremy for some reason you're talking about afraid of everything I'm constantly fearful yeah yeah that's you can tell but look at them that's good that's great but but you can but but I appreciate you you can say and be honest

I'm I feel fair you've got to stare through the fear yeah but you have to stay and don't just

I'm I'm I'm I fight through it every day you have yes showing up to this workplace where they're gonna call out how fearful I am that's one of my fears when you look around the room here like you know as fighters who do you think here of us would do the best in the cage one more time sort like oh who would fight the best look around the room here all who's fighting the best yeah who do you think and sometimes it's uh sometimes the the the the the the guy who who think who who looks like

like Jeremy the the the the most no no fighter he sometimes he's he's the he's the best you know it's not about the look it's not about the look it's about the skill it's about the skill self confident and being ready to do whatever is necessary if I tell you right now how long would it take you if you're the assignment was to kill him you killed Jeremy how long and you have to do it is fast it has to be fast me what's the fastest yes what's the fastest you're allowed to that it's okay

from right now if I gave you permission and no right yeah if I gave you permission I give you the champion chip I give you the champion chip next week please don't do it go there kill him as fast as you can how fast how long does that take you yeah why this question I know you you like all these types of all questions but it's okay I can take it it's not about the time it's not about the time but I need to have it to overcome these these whatever whatever it is the most time will be walking

into the room yeah if we take you order to walk out there here you think yeah that's the adversity he's facing Jeremy it's opening the door you said there's a chair there's two doors

right there you can give a key you also have to account for him running new fear unlock who catch him you will

catch him you have see three twenty seven sir thank you for being with us good luck and thank you for allowing us some insight into your mind I'm fascinated by guys and choose to do what you do then have more questions do I got a couple more questions go ahead hear about it about to be a father

for the first time yeah we're going to be born very soon congrats on the sex very soon congrats on

the fear you know what it feels like now that's one of the fear training nothing will prepare you for this I was going to say dark you spent dark room for what three days two days no food no water just in their focused nothing will prepare you for having that daughter in your hand to the first time being like I have to make sure that she breeds every single second like I just had a daughter she's well last year my wife did but not me you know you know you know you're about his kid or

just talking about you tell him I experience so he can be ready for his experience which is in the hospital I had to sit there and stare at the baby every single second to make sure that she was breathing so it's like rubber all these yes all these trainings that you do are just

outside of Carlos forget about Carlos and forget about that this is the most important fight that

you're going to have is you and a seven pound baby for six months understand man but right now no there is no other other other things then then then Carlos then the mission next week yeah taking money line yeah that that I believe I believe the my girlfriend will handle these these

These things and everything will be all right after after five but I have my ...

have her mission about that so so you'll be ready once you get the strap over your

you're trying to look and Carlos then baby Tony you tried to tell a charming tapestry of story of what it great how great it is to be a father and what he's telling you's been working all his life for this week yeah and nothing else over that nothing nothing else matters other than the baby that makes him fight in the mountains there is nothing more important than this week in your professional life correct that's right and I just believe that that I can I can do my mission

I can do I can be successful in my mission and my girlfriend I believe in her I believe she

can handle all these moments right now she's like in the you know the like last three

finish line yeah and the finish line and so we are in contact every day and we are sending

to the power each other so so we we are we we have everybody we have our fight thank you sir good luck thank you for being with us thank you thank you too awesome Don Lebatard while there's nothing official and conversations are still ongoing was that a fake chef there because it was it was pretty good yeah I feel like there's legs yeah tried at the beginning and I lost confidence in it why good yeah you got this

I think official yeah so conversations are still ongoing still gots it is trending towards Nick's airing on and remaining the head coach of the Eagles this is the Don Lebatard show with his two gots

I am legitimately amazed that Mike Ryan got away earlier in the show with leveling what I believe

to be the greatest praise you can to baseball in this market right now at this time he said

quote I had a really decent time at the game whoa yeah that is the biggest praise I have seen for Marlins baseball from Mike Ryan because he went home and on the way home he caught excellence for two hours quick and easy too quick for for Tony's liking because Sandy mows them down too quickly and he wants to go with his baby the pitch clock is back uh 20 seconds all right back to 20 seconds again 20 seconds like no man let me enjoy the let me let him wind up

let him do what I'm on here I'm on to tell you this I don't like yeah I need to catch your throw in some signs him saying no way I need a lot more conversation with him yeah I mean it's so surprised I was having beers with the boys the sum was out the Marlins played well I was in and out and all the things that I've been openly complaining about the sport have been resolved and fixed and yeah would you do all those things you give me a nice afternoon of course I'd

have a great time I'm not so stubborn that I'd be like well I've been saying baseball sucks for several years let me turn my back against this I've been given the sport a try I've been enjoying the the games on TV I like the style of play I love the pace they're yeah they're on an uptick was it open air did they open the uh Sandy doesn't like the roof was not like crazy but the the window in the back was cracked open and then you know drive behind the bar yeah the

usherers are very kind you can pretty much sit anywhere in the house no that's not my favorite

place I think about that place that there is because some of these places somebody's building

somebody's ballpark some of these stadiums then it'll be empty and then you go and sit in and they're like hey I'm like come on guy they go every other section at Marlins park so if you walk by an usher year sucker yeah I mean there are sure some what I want my pusher that I had no problem yeah they they let us sit where we wanted which is you know part of the appeal for get away day I guess but yeah I went closest to the sun and I had a good time I'm excited about the team I

like I like what I saw I saw a couple what's with baseball though there was a ball that went over the fence and there were everyone was like is that a home run what is the ball went over the fence why was there any kind of discourse over the Liam Hicks one there's like no there's this little gap if it hits the top I'm like ball go over fence home run what do we do I want to show people the range that this show has because it's not pitch clock here and a little bit that will

show you that it is the difference between two kinds of ways to measure toughness when you're talking to a potential UFC champion who's very intimidating and he does this why this question versus what was happening right before he came on with us when David Samson was dealing with what he was describing as a major animal it's really not there is a major animal in this apartment

I don't know what I'm gonna do here huh so earnest to a show like this coka t...

that is going to hit so what is coka expecting they're like like a pigeon inside there's a part of that I just thought of a cow hey we're live look I don't like can you imagine doing a show like on a safari oh sorry god um uh can you guys please just just enjoy for a second the special insanity that is doing a show by yourself they're tackling difficult subject matter and being

distracted by the smallest bug because your life is filled with fear at all times and so you stop

doing he's doing a live show and there's no one there to help him and he is totally distracted by the fact that miles above the tiny instrument sex is flying through and now he can't discuss anything and he can't say coka help it because he's totally distracted by the prison in the meantime he has no help and so he's distracted by a fly and then he just kills it on air and his proud of himself welcome back to the right time with Pomani Jones don't go caught down the throat

it took him longer to kill that bug than I would have been killed and you're he's terrifying right he's horrifying I was tell every moment I was worried Dan was going to see the wrong thing and then he was telling me and then I'm going to tell you right now if he said a pummeling you I would have joined them yeah I mean I'm not a fear I mean like like get them look the size of his hands their palettes terrifying no and they are they are made of like he they are made of rocks like

you shake his hand and it's like sticking your hand in a coral reef like that and when you put it out there's very good on like it's just been you're I couldn't stop staring at his knuckles I said holy same at one point I realized he had two watches on and I wanted to tell Tony but I was too afraid to say it out loud and do the comms because I thought he might hear me and he might he wouldn't hear you because of the cauliflower ears right which are like the seven thing you notice

again now you say it all the time it's been hard no you wouldn't have said it you had

I don't pretend he had no problem hearing why is there a problem hearing but you never say the second

watch is to time himself as he kills Jeremy well when he walked out of his head by and he goes where is this guy I was like he wants to say goodbye right like it in a nice way I watched him fight several times before I always knew that he was long but I was impressed by like the shoulder and I had never during an interview if I been like I'm going to put a hundred bucks on this person and I did you're telling me somebody knocked that guy out twice somebody somebody who is scarier than that guy

if we were ever to have that guy here that would be terrible unless you get fumigated there would be nobody here so I could curry favor was in the only reason he gets to fight for this title is because the guy who beat him twice vacated this title to go up to go up a division to get his

third title in a third different division never been done before in UFC history yeah that's how bad

that guy is well speaking of never in history give me the status of the day music here please

I mean I'm glad you're here for this please put this in some sort of context that the people can understand this is from NBA stat over the last 15 games Victor Wemba Yama has 400 plus points 150 plus rebounds 50 plus blocks 30 plus threes made a 15 and no record no one else in NBA history could match that stat line even if he took the best 15 game span of his career in each category separately yeah I was thinking about that as I was listening to you saying the numbers I was thinking

maybe David Robinson man and as soon as he hit threes like nope and that's a difference maker right there is that the first X amount of numbers in that stat there are been some incredible

big men in NBA history to I think flirt with that David Robinson I came alive you want

but once you enter three point shooting into the equation we've never seen anyone be as dominant

inside and outside as Victor Wemba Yama and we'll still grow yeah I mean look he could still get better his shot which is good can get better it's still not very consistent from three point range he can his handles can get better and as always we keep saying this gets stronger however much power he's added since last season he's still got a ways to go particularly when we talk about core strength that inability for people to just push him out the way or not knock him off of his

trajectory did you guys see who it is that got into the Hall of Fame do you guys still care about

The basketball Hall of Fame a little easier to get into than the others but E...

Parker a Mari Stodomire a Doc Rivers Hall of Famer Doc Rivers is a Hall of Famer as a what

that's a coach what greatest coaches of all time I mean that's not my opinion you can you get asked

the the NBA 75 they voted me as one of the 15 greatest coaches you can ask uh well you

could ask the players that I've coached Kevin Cardette ball players but they would say they would say

they you've lost a lot of games a lot of games sevens that that's a Hall of Fame resume that's

probably four player and coach actually no just as a coach and also you got to win a lot of games

in order to lose a lot of games sevens I don't I don't see a bill pitch up down I don't see uh what's what's the kit will hearty will hearty has a loss in the game sevens you know what it's a team terrible it's not Blake's fault though he's not there he hasn't even played there

why wouldn't be Blake's fault that's why but Blake doesn't have anything to do with anything

he's in broadcast he's been out of basketball for a couple of years and some of them were spent with the net. And not as whole.
