If I could press a button and rewind it all I would, that's when his life took a disturbing turn. A one-night stand would end in a courtroom. The media is here. This case has gone viral. The dating contract.

Hey, it's Alec Baldwin. This season on my podcast,

It's about the hang. It's the pleasure of hanging out with the people

This is one of the most dramatic events that really ever happened in New York City, politics. A screen get down, get down, those are shots. on the I Heart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You are listening to the Dan Patrick Shawan Fox Sports Radio. Made a tool Wednesday. It's hour one. A lot of fun last night. Two close basketball games and a very close baseball game as well. Venezuela over.
Small championship. Howard moves on and Texas over NC State, basketball tonight. Prairie view against Lehigh, Miami, Ohio against SMU.
It's weird to have a play in game or first round opening round, whatever we call it,
and make it a must-win situation. But it feels like that for Miami, Ohio. It's like there was a lot of discourse about this team. How good they are, should they be in, and here they are. Not very far from campus, less than an hour away from Miami and Oxford, Ohio, playing in Dayton tonight against SMU. But it does feel like you better win this game.
You better win at least one game. H773DP show, operator tighter, sitting by. You'll take your phone calls. Good morning. pants down. All righty. Gangs all here, the Minister of Humor, Fritssey, seat and Marv Pauling, yours truly, and the backroom guys as well. Baseball was fun. Here is the final out of last night with Venezuela beating the United States. Wanted to the count to outs. Three, two, Venezuela, US batting last night. Valencia set, the one to pitch. 20 minutes, Venezuela wins the WPC.
Nine players fall to their knees.
They upset the US. Venezuela is the 2026 WPC champions.
“Yeah, it was great atmosphere there. That's what you want. And you're watching Team USA.”
And I know it's probably a big blanket to throw over this. I don't know how much it meant to Team USA. Like this wasn't the United States against Canada and hockey. In that moment, it just felt like Venezuela, it meant everything to them. And I don't know if you can make somebody care more in Aaron Judge, Bryce Arpram, sure they wanted to win. By the way, Aaron Judge getting roughed up on social media. I can't play big in the big games there. But you know,
it was just, it was a good jump start to the season. That's the way I viewed this. It's a good jump start. And you know, you could take inventory and know who some of these players are or maybe attach to their countries as we move on. So I thought it was a really good couple of weeks for baseball. Now we go into a little more spring training and then opening day is around the corner. There's going to be talk, John Smoltz yesterday was saying, hey,
“why don't we do this and have a final four at the All-Star game and then have a championship?”
You have the All-Star game. And then you'll have Cooper's town with the Hall of Fame induction ceremony. I get it. But I would rather let my players play in spring training than in the middle of the season. They want to play in the All-Star game. Okay. Normally, you'll get guys who play maybe just a couple innings. But we're trying to, we're trying to make it bigger than I think what it can be. And keep this in mind. The next WBC is in 2030. So there's no real all next year
or the year after that. You got the Olympics coming up as well. So this momentum that we have to now let's do something different. Look, 2030. That's a long way away. Yeah. So it doesn't happen next year. And then you're going to have the Olympics coming up. And then I think it's 2030 the next time
“we have the WBC. Yes, Marvin. Are we going to do this show from the next WBC?”
I don't know. I'm going to be retired. Little reunion? No, no, not for that. No, not for that. We only got back together for that. For the WBC. Yeah. You know, what's the event that could bring you back just for a one-off the WBC? It would kind of be awesome. Really. No, it wouldn't. No. But congratulations to Venezuela. Yeah. But they did care. I mean, you had those guys sobbing. They're singing their country's anthem. They're getting their medals. Although you could tell
where Kyle Schwarber, Mason Miller, I think they got their silver medal and they're like, no, we're not. It's like, you know, when they gave out teddy bears at the Olympics to Canada, like, you got these tough guys there. And they give you a teddy bear. Like, oh, man, don't think we need to do teddy bears. Yes, Todd. At least in Wimbledon, you know, there's a trophy and there's a play to both of them or decent looking trophies. You want the, you know,
you don't want the play. You want the trophy. But, you know, either don't give anything after
a second play. So I make it something a little more substantial. And you have these moments.
Bryce Harbor had one of those moments last night where it's the two run home or to tie the game. But how many times have we seen these big moments get forgotten? Harper's moment will be forgotten. How about your main, your main curse in the Super Bowl against the Patriots Super Bowl 49 that unbelievable catch, Julio Jones is catching against the Patriots Super Bowl 51. Raj Davis, the Indians, games seven home run against the Cubs in the World Series. Kind of
forgot about that as well. And then I mentioned Aaron Judge. So his struggles continue in big moments over four with three strikeouts last night. You go back to the 2024 World Series where he batted 224-13 seven strikeouts and five games against the Dodgers. I'll take him. You know, if you don't want him, I'll take him. I'm pretty good. Certainly in the regular season. But stepping up in the moment, Bryce Harper had his moment last night with a two run homeer. But Schworv had didn't do anything.
I think he had four strikeouts or just they like to say punchouts and then Aaron Judge as well.
All right. Hold question for the first hour of the program seat and it's going to be what?
We got a couple of options for you here. The World Baseball Classic should be it should stay in the preseason or it should be part of the All Star Break.
Okay, I already stated my piece on it.
And the season is long and this is July and I'm fine with spring training.
But once again, we're not going to be playing for four more years with this format.
“And I think that's why in everything that we have with this, it's going to dissipate.”
Then we're going to forget like, man, who won the last time? All you, Venice, Venice away. All that's right. But it's four more years. Like Japan bowels out. Now we start the regular season. Yeah, see. But they sometimes it's harder when you have something great on your hands. It's more difficult or the bigger problem is knowing what to do with it. You know, I mean, it's clearly causes, gets generates some excitement, gets some momentum for the game,
which is great. Now it's like, Dan, what the hell do we do with this? No. You can't do anything.
You can talk about it. You know, Buster O'Neigh, the great writer with the mothership. He talked about he echoed what John Smoltz pointed out. But once again, this is four years down the road. I think people think this is an every year occurrence. And it's not going to be. And then you have this situation with Mason Miller. Okay, you're not coming in unless it's a saved situation. You got to negotiate, you know, the Venice, the wayla had to negotiate with the
Cubs, you know, when their closer came in, Mason Miller with the Padres and then you're negotiating.
“Hey, he can only come in and a save situation. How long are you going to be able to pitch?”
You know, and that changes the game. So we got to kind of be all in on this. Like, I love the four nations. But I love that because the United States and Canada, you know, that rivalry and you're dropping the gloves and you're fighting and it really meant something there. You can't tell hockey guys to go, it's take it easy. You know, hey, he's only going to play four shifts tonight. And that ain't happening. It's going to be, hey, we're playing. We're winning.
Yeah, Paulie. It was interesting last night. Ninth inning, they need their best closer, Mason Miller. And Mark DeRosa goes with a Whitlock, the reliever out of Buster, I think.
And clearly, that's a second tier guy compared to Mason Miller. You know,
could you have gone the other way and said, I'm not coaching this team in four hours. I can't be fired for this. No, you can't do that. Yeah, you can't. What if you asked Mason Miller? No, you can't. Because you have an agreement with the Padres. And you can't. Now, I think players in other countries, if they had the opportunity, like the closer for a Venezuelan, who's the Cubs Closer? Uh, when does it plancy? Yeah, Daniel Polenzi. Okay. He's,
he's fun. Uh, I get the feeling if it wasn't a safe situation. If it was reversed and it was the Mason Miller situation, he probably would have said, I am coming in. Because if you look at his teammates, look at how emotional they were. Like, this wasn't just a, hey, this will be fun. This was, oh my god, we got a chance to win. And I get to feeling he probably would have said, hey, I'll take the heat from the Cubs. I'm going to be in that game. Yeah, see. I feel like,
you know, looking ahead four years from now, when you have Venezuela winning and Japan, United States and Dominican Republic underperforming, those are built in storylines heading into that next one that are really great. But you don't know how many players who played in this year's WBC will be there in 2030. Like you'd like to have that boy, he's going to get a chance at redemption or, you know, Aaron Judge, Kyle Schworber probably won't
be playing. Bryce Harper probably won't be playing in four years. But yeah, I mean, it, it's disappointing that you can't capitalize on this. Because you had a moment, it was fun, enthusiasm. And I love the spirit of these other countries. You know, we get caught up in, you know, play the game the right way. And they, you know, they celebrate differently. Bad flips, all of that. It, it meant more to them. The spirit of the game, the passion of the game was very, very evident. There's no room for
that. Yeah, we get here. We come. What is with this excitement? Play the game the right way. Yeah, you know, just run the bases and sit back down. I used to be. I used to be. I used to be. Well, come on. And then you, I love passion. Now, if you're down, you know, nine one and
“you hit a home run and you do a bad flip, then you should be smacked. But I love the passion.”
Yes, Martin. It is. Wow. Why are you having fun playing a child's game? This is crazy.
Act like you've been there before.
the legends that come back for their respective countries like Yohan Santana is the pitching coach.
“Who you saw Miguel Cabrera? You saw Andy Petta. I was the Andy Petta since. I mean, I don't”
say the last time I saw him. But I mean, it's been a while. He's a biography junior was there last night. Gary Sheffield was there last night. So it was a great TV production. Also, Albert Pools. I know. They make her a public. Paul. He goes, "Man, there's a guy in the dugout who looks like Albert Pools." And I said, "It's Albert Pools." He goes, "Oh, I keep going. Is that, that guy looks like Albert Pools?" I took me seven at it. It's all right. To be fair.
But yeah, it was fun to see it. But, you know, trying to figure out what to do with this energy. I just think it's a great jumpstart for the seat. Like I'm excited for opening day. Yeah, so yeah, I really thought that was a Bryce Harper's moment. Yep. I really did. I thought that whole aisle is like, gosh, that's his career right there. That is the exclamation point on his career. What a moment.
Has he been in the major leagues for 15 years?
Yeah, he started at 19. In that amazing. Yep. He's going into year 15,
“2012 and he's 19. He was rookie of the year. I think he's got seven all-star appearances, two MVP's,”
and a bunch of average years that he also has an NLCS MVP. Okay, four gone conclusion, Hall of Fame right now. Two time MVP. Washington won a world series after they traded him. Yes, Pauline. This is a two-part discussion. We used to discuss this with McLevin. Bryce Harper is going to the Hall of Fame. You make seven eight all-star games. You have two MVP's. You're going. But you could also make the case at was his career everything it was meant to be,
or predicted to mean. Those are two different topics. Well, he was the chosen one. He was on the cover sports illustrated just like LeBron when he was what 15. Not exactly the LeBron of Major League Baseball, but, you know, a very good career. Yeah. Yeah, or you did say that one much confidence. Yeah, that doesn't sound like Hall of Fame.
No, I don't think he's a first baller Hall of Famer, but he's going to be a Hall of Famer.
“I think he's at times been a great player, but there are dips in his career.”
Yeah, Pauline. That's exactly right. He's had three great seasons. He's had about 10 good seasons. And some of those seasons, he hit, you know, 249 with 34 homers. There's nothing wrong with that, but not when you're expected to be one of the greats of the game. Yeah, so he had two MVP's and they were six years apart. Yeah. That's pretty good. It's not like he had two or two really great seasons out of three or something. He showed a certain amount of sustained excellence. That's
Hall of Famer. Yeah. Okay, but that's kind of what I'm saying. It's Hall of Famer. You put a why on the end. You know what I mean? I'm just for the sake of the conversation. I don't know that I'm
a die hard first baller Hall of Famer. I'm just saying that two MVP's six years apart
feels Hall of Famish. Yeah. Yes, John. If you don't match your exceed wild expectations, I don't think you get ding to the point where you don't belong in Cooper's town. It's something you'll have to live with as a person. As an athlete that I could have been much better than was expected and made, but you still, you know, you still get into the hall. Even if it takes a little while. Yeah. I get it. We're the one that put the expectations on him. Well, sports illustrate
and put him on the cover. Yes, Todd. Do you think it would take a lot of lustre off the WBC if they did it like the Ryder Cup and did it every two years instead of every three or four years? Like we were saying some of these guys may not have been being the team, but they'd be more likely as far as with the storylines if they were playing two years from now as opposed to waiting for and just keep that momentum going a little bit in mid-half way. You know, let me take a break.
Think about that. I see what you're saying. He's a bull? Yeah. Nice. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you, Todd. Okay. Everyone, what's it about? It surprised the group. About we take a break, just getting started. Phone calls coming up. We'll talk some football, our good buddy Nick Wright will tell us why the Kansas City Chiefs getting just in fields. That's a great move for them. At least I'm going to ask him the question I assume he's going
to be fine with Justin Fields as his quarterback to start this season. We'll take a break. We're back after this. “into power. I think coming out of where I came from from the Bronx, I think I grew up really poor.”
I didn't know that then because I very much used my creativity to romanticize life. And I'm like my mom did a really good job of like you step back and you're like whoa, we I don't know how we made it. So a lot of my life was like built out of like survival to get to the next place. clear money, but they right now have $175 million in dead money this season with guys who
weren't on the team anymore. That's more than 12 baseball teams entire payrolls this year. Adam today, once you've had Panini America, the official trading cards with the damn Patrick Shelb, but you got two of gone and now Jalen Waters gone, Tyre Kill is gone, but you bring in Malik Willis, which I don't, I still don't understand this. And I do feel bad for Malik Willis, because he might go there and unless they're going to be adding some people, you know, if
AJ Brown wants to relocate to Miami, okay, you're not paying Malik Willis a lot, but I wonder if they said to him, hey, by the way, we're going to be trading Jalen Waters, just to let you know. And then maybe he would have said, well, maybe I'll go to Arizona instead, yeah, see. That I don't, yeah, we all sort of assume that the dolphins are rebuilding and that they're just going to, you know, sort of like burn it all to the ground and start over, but like you said,
they did sign Malik Willis, and it's not the craziest thought to think that you're going to take
that first and the third that you got for Jalen Waters and turn that into AJ Brown. That's not the
worst plan in the world to me. Yeah. But then I don't know if AJ Brown's going to say, hey, I want to renegotiate my contract because I want to get paid what is commensurate to these other guys. Yeah, it's even. He might, but I know some of the lists that I've seen of where, you know, there's only like three or four teams he's willing to go to with the Miami dolphins were one of them. Yeah. But I feel bad for Malik Willis because I, you know, now he's, he said, look, I wasn't ready
when I first got in the league. He didn't play against great competition in college and, you know, he flamed out. Now you get that second chance and, you know, some of these guys who go to the
second chance team or third chance team go in with a pretty good roster in place. It done, you know,
AJN, they're going to keep him. You got two really good running backs in this year's draft. They're both are out of Notre Dame. So you might have somebody who's willing to give you something for AJN who's a very talented running back. All right. We'll talk a little bit more about that with Nick Wright next out on your phone calls are welcome and how often should the WBC be played? You guys, I think we're surprised when I said, it doesn't happen until 2030.
And let's, let's face it. If you didn't have that moment, that Seminole moment when Otani struck
“out Mike Trout. I mean, that's what we remember from 2023. That's the last one. But that's when we were like,”
"Oh my God, that's what we want to see." You saw two of the greatest players and they were going head to head and you had the championship on the line and it was Otani's big moment and he strikes out Bryce Harper. That's all we remember from that WBC, but it was enough that it was like, okay, man, the rivalries create new rivalries. But then it goes away. And then all of a sudden it comes back. Now we have to wait till 2030 and it might, you know, some of the luster taken away because we're
going to have the Olympics as well in between. Yeah, Paul. So the WBC started in '06, then three years later in '09, they had one. Then they went to four years, 2013, four years, 2017. Because of COVID, they skipped a turn. Went to 2023, which you just talked about. And because of COVID, they cut it to three to 2026. Now they're going back to four. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know if you do it right or cut. And it's every two years. So I'd be
fine with that. We tend to add more, you know, it's just like March Madness or college football playoffs. Like we want more. We don't like the let's wait for it a little bit, build up the
“anticipation. But I think you, I want baseball to capitalize. I think this was a great couple of weeks.”
And, you know, we got to see, you know, we got to see talent around the world. And, you know, this might spark the United States to be a little more all in. Next time around. Yes, Marvin.
Washington, WBC may be feel bad for the Miami Marlins because that stadium wa...
If there wasn't a team in Miami, and you saw the WBC, the first thing MLB would do is,
“man, they should put a team in Miami. This place will be rocking every single night. And it's just”
not the case. Then the most irrelevant franchise in MLB. Oh, are they? Um, the A's, but now they're going to Vegas. You would think that Miami Tampa, it's like you'd love your spring training, but you don't love your regular season. And, you know, in Tampa's had some really good teams, but, you know, getting a new stadium, Miami, you know, even though they want a couple of
world series, just never, there's no atmosphere. Like, if you, if you're from Miami or you're a
Marlin fan and you watch that atmosphere, you're like, why can't we have that atmosphere, at least half of that atmosphere here? James and Virginia, good morning, James. Oh, thank you for taking my call, brother, happy Wednesday, DC, Dan, that's man for looks, the commanders. You know, this crazy, it's crazy how the WBC has just engulfed man and it's turned into something wild, but this talk about how they need to break it up and do the
eight at different times to help them. I'll be players. That is garbage, man. I don't even want to hear it. It's the weakest argument around. If you're going to show up and put it on the jersey,
then show up and play. If you can't play, then don't even show up at all. The reason
Venezuelan, one last night were two reasons. One, everybody on that team, coaching staff players to fans were fully invested in that game and they wanted it more than the US. And secondly, it wasn't a pitch in, I mean, school should have started that game and Miller at the end for short, but when you have your three through seven hitters, including a pinch hitter, go on for 17. That is on them, man. That's on them. Hey, I'm all about it. Let it go every four years. It's cool,
but show up and play and represent the way Venezuelan did. It was tough to watch, but that celebration was amazing when everybody, when they announced champions, everybody ran into the stage,
“fully invested, man. That's what it takes. You all have a great day. No, I'm about that. James,”
James fire knob. Not even football season. He's usually not critical of anybody. Yes,
Mark. I'm going to disagree with James from this perspective. The US lost three to two. They didn't lose like 13 to two. So like, oh, they wanted it more. I'm not sure if they like, maybe they did, but it's not like they blew them out. Larry and Arkansas. Good morning, Larry. What's on your mind? Good morning, Dan. And Dan asks, hey, I just sort of wanted to piggyback though on the Ryder Cup and the athletes compared to the WBC, our US athletes, even at the Ryder
Cup, don't say, you, you look at the Europeans and how hard they get. How tame they, much the team means to them. And then you look at our guys and it's not near, near that way. And I just wonder if it's something systemic, you know, on how our golfers and our baseball players and raised for the best, you know, equipment and fails and all that or if it's a entitlement kind of a thing, but I'm just paying attention in your comment on that. Yeah, it might be just more individual
in the United States, whereas these golfers in Europe, they'll end up, you know, traveling together, sharing a room together. They grew up in that atmosphere. And so I think there's more of a knowing each other, instead of all of a sudden, you know, you got film Nicholson and Tiger Woods who don't like each other. And then we're going to pair them together. You know, Europe has surpassed us. And it comes down to, I think, that camaraderie. I don't know if they're better players, but the
camaraderie is evident there. And with these countries, I mean, Venezuela, with everything that
“Venezuela has been through. And they came together. You could see it. And that's what was fun”
about that, uh, a collective. You know, Bryce Harper is, you know, multi-multime multi-millionaire. I mean, all of these guys, judge, I mean, you know, MVP's, there gonna be Hall of Famers. Some of these guys on Venezuela, not even on Ross, you know, major league roasters. Now, they do have a lot of talent, but I'm just saying, you know, it's a smaller group to pick from, but it's a stronger group. I think when you put them on the field of what they're playing for.
And you saw that. Venezuela was playing for more than the WVC last night. Ryan in Detroit. I Ryan, what's on your mind?
Hey, Dan, good morning.
like a recollection of the Miami of Ohio, 1999 run. And he played about a minute of sports center from that night, which was you and Kenny Mayn. And you, uh, you pulled out a catchphrase that I hadn't heard or hadn't remembered, which was a swish went in and you said it. It's as quiet as a church. And that made me think about some of the other catchphrases, obviously, the WVC, yeah.
“But do you have any other catchphrases that are top of list for you?”
I kind of liked, you can't stop him, you can only hope to contain him. And usually that was somebody who was not a big star. And I think the first time I used it was a guy named Benny Dista Fano. And I think he played for the Astros at the time. And Benny Dista Fano hit a tripler something and, you know, he's running the bases and he can't stop Benny Dista Fano. You're going to hope to contain him.
In Fuego was always fun, uh, the WVC for a strikeout. But I think the phrase you're talking about
softest church music, um, might have been the, uh, the comment that I made. And that was actually from an old SEC announcer who would talk about, uh, I think somebody's jump shot or something was his softest church music. Yes, Todd. Something I said was gone for the home run. That was a powerful too from what I remember. Yeah. And that's where I didn't, I didn't want to have a catchphrase that stood out and, and overshadowed the highlight that you wanted to, I just wanted it to be,
I'm going to compliment it the best that I can. Yes, Pauli. Uh, Jo Dean. Yep, Jo Dean. SEC basketball analyst 69 to 87 softest church music. Softest church music. That's nice. Yeah. Uh, thank you, Ryan.
Chris and Texas. My Chris, what's on your mind? Take it down. Uh, first time long time. 5, 7, 18,
5. Hey, I was just wondering, like, after watching the WBC and all these great international players, why are they not drafted into the MLB like other professional sports franchises? And maybe that's something MLB could do to kind of break some parody and lieu of, uh, salary cap or something. Well, you still have to pay. I mean, you don't get them for free. Hey, we're, we're going to give you a tuition, a waiver. We're going to give you a room in and board and books. No. Yeah,
you're still going to have to pay them. And there are a lot of these players are on major league rosters. Uh, Zack and Knoxville. Hi, Zack. What's on your mind? Hey, Zack. Try again. No, there you go. In your image. Yep, got you. Okay. Sorry about that. Uh, I too, like Marvin Miss remember where I last saw Andy Pettett. And also wanted to ask you, if you think that the major league should, uh, there's so many roots and so much ties to Latin America. And do you think that they should
do, like, multiple series down there throughout the year? I know international games are, are big with the NFL and everything like that. Because the crowds are the ones that really make that world baseball classic. Yeah, I don't know what Rob Manfred thinks of that of, you know, can you go for a weekend series in the DR? Could you go for a weekend series in Puerto Rico
“or Venezuela? Probably not Venezuela, but, you know, can you go to certain countries? Could you do?”
I mean, we, we play games in Japan. Yes, Pauli. MLB has one called the Mexico City Series, summer of 2026. Actually, uh, April, 2026. So it's coming up in a week. Oh, okay. A two game set Diamondbacks, Padre's April 25th and 26th. Yeah, student. Like I'll go to local, uh, sporting events, right, for like minor league baseball or like second tier soccer or whatever it is. It doesn't get
a ton of attention. You get a couple thousand people there or whatever. But the best nights always
universally are when it's a certain nationalities night. It could be like, we're, uh, Jamaican night. You get there. It's lit. It is the most fun you'll ever have. And then the next week, after that or two weeks after that, it's like our Puerto Rican night. It's the best time. It's the
“most for Polish night. It's the most fun you could have. But you can't do that every time, you know?”
But can you make each team? Well, yeah, I'd have to explore it a little bit that, you know,
Am I going to have a major league team?
You know, it's like the Dodgers and Japan. You know, can you do that? Can you do it in spring training?
“Could you do it in the regular season? You'd have to make it, you know, a three, like a three-game”
series if you were going to these places. Yeah, Paul. The NFL has been doing this a couple of years now. It's called the Global Markets Program. Every NFL team has a partner country. The L.A. Rams are with Japan. A bunch of teams are with Mexico, like the Arizona Cardinals, the Dallas Cowboys. It's a little bit territorial. Argentina is with the Miami Dolphins and so on and so forth. Hmm. All right. We'll take a break. More phone calls coming up next or play in the day.

“I think coming out of where I came from from the Bronx, I think I grew up really poor.”
I didn't know that then because I very much used my creativity to romanticize life. And I'm like my mom did a really good job of like you step back and you're like, whoa, we, I don't know how we made it. So a lot of my life was like bill out of like survival to get to the next place. Like my drive, my tunnel vision of like, I got to be better. I got to achieve this was off the strengths of like I want to make a better life for us.

trouble for this answer, but I think it's like definitely happening in the WWE. And yeah, we talk about on mistakes too. They pulled me to the side and was like, hey, man, we got to call last night and you can't be rolling around the city like this tonight for games, no, you know, doing this, doing whatever. “commercial break where you're shooting hoops. And I think I picked up three of the basketballs.”
We have a whole rack out there. And the three that I picked up had nowhere. Like what is going on out here? I got to get somebody a designated basketball filler. Maybe come up with a better title than that. Yes, Martin. Our BRMVG or MVBRG. J is out there filling up the balls right now. J is still in it. All right. Good. I'm in good hands. My balls are in good hands with nice. How has happened? Thank you, Todd. And then, did you give me a Kelly Trapuka when I was shooting?
I did. Yes. Okay. I wasn't going to call you like Alex English or somebody like that. I know, but you told me, you know, there's a white guy. Will Rex Chapman make you feel better? Yes. Rex wasn't as good as shooter as me. He wasn't. Rex can shoot it though. It can jump. Got a mid range jumper. Rex's donation point. Yes, Martin. Well, you played pick a ball with the brothers. Yeah.
“Not brothers. Yeah. Brothers. Did they call you anything?”
Did they call you a light basketball player? No. Now, that happened to me one time in on a playground in New York where they called me. I don't know. Might have been skyls like it. It was just kind of random or Nash. They were like, okay, Nash can shoot. And be like, okay. But yet, it no, when I played pick up games, no, they didn't do that. But it, it does happen a lot. Yes, Martin. What you got to take that as a compliment?
Okay, if they call you a good player, like, hey, somebody want to grab pick a pressure over here? Yeah. Some of grab googly out of? Yeah. Yes. Yeah. Or maybe, you know, if they called me Caitlyn Clark. Hey, give somebody to get Caitlyn Clark here. I'd take it as a compliment. No, just because of the range. You know, I'll deep your shooting. Not got you. Yeah, all right. Let's see. Carlos and Virginia. Hi Carlos. What's on your mind today? Good morning, Dan. Good morning,
Dan. It's first time color five nine one nine. Oh, the validity. We have a, as I've heard, that we are able double able all year long. And then we have the ladies that we still have
“win to bowl. In the eighties and nine, you may your lead base will play. You should come up”
or participate and leave the experience with a lot of American countries. Then after that, we have the
care, the agency is where we compete with doing the show. There's, and it's always like you
see the WC. Yeah. He's broad. He's, he's great. It's powerful. We, we love each other, but at the same time, we compete with passion. I guess it shows. Yeah. Yeah. You watch the, you know, the Caribbean series. I mean, that is passionate. And there are always be like winter ball where you're like,
Man, these guys don't like each other.
What's up, BP and Dan X? Well, man, got a great question for you today. I'm hoping everybody can
“give me an answer. It's just we only either the NCAA got me to think it. Pop position. What's”
a all-time starting five in college? Oh, I, I'd, I'd have to have a data think about that fresh. I'd have to have some time for my all-time starting five. Wow.
I know I'm starting with the Liu else indoor. I, it doesn't matter. And I, I'll take the first pick.
I'll, I'll take him. I'll give you the next, you know, four picks. And then, but I get the Liu else indoor to start. Yes, Martin. Is latener considered a power forward? Yeah. Okay. You guys are proud for it? If I want Christian latener. Who else? No, I don't know. It's, all the college fans can fall down through the years. No. Cricillator might be top three. Well, in our cinder, it might be latener. Yeah. Yeah. You're talking
about resume. Absolutely. Absolutely. Um, you know, Brianna Stewart might have the best resume of anybody who's ever played the game. You go four for four in college and you're the most outstanding
“player all four years. She's one. I think a couple of titles in the WNBA. I think a gold medal.”
She wins everywhere she goes. Now, she doesn't have a game that you're excited about or you remember as much as Stewie's winning another championship. Subaru's another one decorated. Yeah, Pauling. And also, if you look at your all-time starting five for college basketball, it's not what they did in the pros. It's what they were as college players. Yes. Danny Manning might be a pick from Kansas or one of my favorites of all time. Glenn Robinson at Purdue was a man.
You know, now his pro career was not as good, but in college he might be on my list. Yeah. Yeah, there's way too many players. Right. It'd be hard for me to have an old-time starting five. Marvin, you got one? Could you would think of a guy like Pearl Washington out of Syracuse? He didn't do much in the pros. Yeah. But as a point, a bunch of guys around me per watch to might be your pick. But I'm there's tons of guys. I'm sure we're going to get called.
Yeah, it's way too many. Right, way too many. Like Chris Jackson, Mach Mode Abdul Rahul Craig called when he was at LSU. That might be the quickest jump shot I've ever seen off the dribble. It was lightning, lightning. And his change of direct because you tuned in and watched LSU Stanley Roberts, I thought was more talented than Shaq. But he didn't have a great pro career.
Obviously Chris Jackson averaged 30 a game in college and made it look easy. And then you saw Shaq that just, with that big guy, if you ever learned how to play basketball, he might be really good. And then he learned how to play basketball. Yes, Todd. Where would one of your all-time favorites pistol peat beyond that list? How long would it take to get to him? Uh, it take a little while because I don't want one guy taking, you know, 35 or 40 shots.
Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, but neighboring college. I mean, they're just way too many players. Bill Walton, you know, Walton was his close to Louis Alcindor as anybody. I mean, Bill was a perfect basketball player. Not a great shooter had weird form. But, but Walton was a, just about a perfect player understood the game passing everything.
Team first, all of that. But I'm taking Louis Alcindor, if I get to start.
