This isn't "I Heart Podcast.

Guarantee human.

I'm Nancy Glass, host of the burden of guilt season 2 podcast.

This is a story about a horrendous lie that destroyed two families. Late one night, Bobby Gumpride became the victim of a random crime. The perpetrator was sentenced to 99 years until a confession changed everything. I was a monster.

Listen to burden of guilt season 2 on the "I Heart Radio" app. Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. The people was up with us, it's Questlove.

So recently I had the incredible opportunity to have a real conversation with

actress and producer Jamie Lee Curtis from routines to recovery, true lies, and a certain Jermaine Jackson music video. Jamie's real and wrong. And something I really admire about her. "I am so happy that I'm the head-button charge at 67 that I have the perspective

that I have at my age to really be able to put all of this into context." Listen to the Questlove so on the "I Heart Radio" app, Apple podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Ready for a different take on Formula One? Look no further than no grip. A new podcast tackling the culture of motor racing's most coveted series.

Join me, Lily Herman, as we dive into the under-explored pockets of F-1, including the story of the woman who last participated in a Formula One race weekend, the recent uptick in F-1 romance novels, and plenty of mishab scandals and sagas that have made Formula One a delightful, decadent dumpster fire for more than 75 years. Listen to no grip on the "I Heart Radio" app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

"I'm Clayton knackered in 2022, I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor."

But here's the thing, Bachelor fans hated him.

"If I could press a button and rewind it, all I would." That's when his life took a disturbing turn. A one-night stand would end in a courtroom. The media is here, this case has gone viral. "The dating contract."

"A great adate me, but I'm also suing you." This is unlike anything I've ever seen before. "I'm Stephanie Young, listen to Love Trap on the "I Heart Radio" app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts." I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast "Doubt," the case of Lucy Letby,

we unpack the story of an unimaginable tragedy that gripped the UK in 2023. But what if we didn't get the whole story? "I just been made to fit." "The moment you look at the whole picture of the case, collapse." What if the truth was disguised by a story we chose to believe?

Oh my god, I think she might be innocent.

Listen to "Doubt," the case of Lucy Letby, on the "I Heart Radio" app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You are listening to the Dan Patrick Show on Fox Sports Radio. "How are two on this Monday, best in worst of the weekend?" Your phone calls, forthcoming.

Jay Billis will join us, download us on how to fill out our brackets, and talk about a couple of the things college-bound scaball related. If you missed Bruce Pearl in the first hour of the program,

you can always go to dampatrick.com,

and you can catch it on the podcast, 877-3DP Show, Operator Tyler, Sitting By. You'll take your phone calls. "Cetan has the honors of the poll question from our one, and what are we going to go with an hour or two?"

Yeah, we have it there right now. No major snubs in the NCAA tournament is a good thing or a bad thing. Right now, 89% of the audience have that as a good thing. They obviously don't work in the content business. Yes.

It's a very self-serving poll question. And then here's one from Paul. Vanderbilt is a football school basketball school or a school. Right now, 82% of the audience have it as just a school.

It is a school, then a second place is a basketball school,

which has twice as many votes as football school. Yeah, I would say Vanity wants to be viewed as a school. Kind of like Stanford wants to be viewed as a school. But it's pretty amazing. I ran down the number of universities

that didn't have a team in a bull game. Didn't have a team make the women's tournament or the men's tournament. And the number of schools are Auburn, Boston College, Florida State, Mississippi State Rutgers, and Stanford. Stay out of the day.

Brought to you by Penini America, the official trading cards of the program. Good morning, if you're watching on peacock or NBC Sports Network. You know, and when you think about it, Stanford shouldn't have everything. You know, all right, you're a great university and your football team,

Your basketball team didn't make the tournament.

The women's team didn't make the tournament. It's okay. Auburn, the football portion of that, is tough to take. And then you throw in basketball, Boston College, Florida State, Mississippi State, and Rutgers.

You know, it feels like the athletic department is bankrupting Rutgers. If you look at all the money that they spend and they get nothing out of it.

Remember Rutgers joining the big ten, how's that going?

And you're looking at the amount of money that Rutgers is spent on athletics. And I don't think they're getting a dollar for dollar return on that. The longest active streaks making the tournament. Tom Iso, Michigan State, 28 consecutive years, Gonzaga 27, and then it goes down to Purdue, third active with 11.

All right, eight seven seven, three D.P. show. We'll get to your phone calls coming up. College sports are changing in real time. We saw that certainly the ripple effects with NIL. And in football, NIL, you got more talent being spread out around the country.

And that paves the way for a story like Indiana football. But if you look at college basketball for the first time since 2008, the four number one seeds reached the final four last season. And that kind of bracket chalk is rare. But it feels like that's going to become more common.

Because it feels like it might be top heavy again, where you do have the Cinderella stories and March madness is full of that. But it still feels like these are the blue bloods who were at the top of college basketball again this year. And what happens is you'll get a talented player at a mid major. And then all of a sudden a team will be like, hey,

I want you to come over here, we're going to pay you this amount of money. And we see this in college football as well. And I'm all for everybody getting whatever you can get. And we'll talk to Jay Billis a little bit about this. The deeper Cinderella runs, I don't know if they're going to continue.

We do love that. But it feels like if you look at the odds, best odds to win the tournament, the those teams are Duke, Michigan, Arizona, Florida, Houston. Iowa State, Illinois, and you come for the most part, those are blue bloods. Yeah, Pauli. I saw a lot of these stories about NIL comparing like what Duke spends or

Kentucky spends compared to Sienna or Long Island University. But with college basketball, you only need one hot shooting night. You know, like Sienna, you would think could still take down Duke one out of every 20 chances. I don't know if that works in college football, the the physicality would just remove that. Yeah, and you're getting players who were staying longer.

And that's always been the mixture for a mid major to pull off the surprise that you'll get

guys who have played together for three or four years. And that's invaluable when it comes to March Madness.

Do you take care of the ball, can you shoot the three?

Uh, they always talk about, you know, senior guard play. A coach who's been there before. You know, feels like we bring up the same checklist there every March. And usually is true to form. Yes, Todd.

And basketball seems to be a sport where you have that strange matchup. Or even if you're far inferior on one night because you have a big man or you have a certain way of playing that messes up the better team. Yeah, you're going to have that that you take an opponent lightly or, you know, it's a neutral court, you know, those kind of things.

And you'll get a coach. And this is where the coaches are worth their value. When you get to these moments, being able to win a game.

And I always look at the best coach, best coaching is the Thursday Saturday or Friday to Sunday.

So the Saturday Sunday games after you won your first game, you know, you're trying to prepare a little more quickly than you would. You have a little bit of lead up to that first game that you have. And you're going to play a better opponent in that second round.

All right, Satan, do we have a poll question for our two?

We do. We do have one. People pointing out, by the way, Vanderbilt is a baseball school. Oh, constantly elite in baseball. Okay. I hadn't really thought of, um, who's acting career? Would you want Tom Cruise a Sean Pan right now? That's a 50/50 call. Wow. 50/50, right down the middle.

Yeah, I think I'd take Tom Cruise's acting career. Would you? Yeah. There's something cool, though, about when you're somebody like Sean Penn or even

Daniel Day Lewis who we've been talking about, when you're sort of always retired, but then you

come out for one movie. I'm going to come. I'm going to do this one because this one's actually that good. It sort of elevates how great you think the movie is once you find out to hang this. Daniel Day Lewis is going to do a Sean Penn is going to do it. This must be a really good movie.

Yeah, but I would probably use the comparison of Tom Cruise and Harrison Ford,

because those are box office. Those are big guys. Sean Penn's not carrying a movie.

Tom Cruise is Harrison Ford is Daniel Day Lewis. I mean, there aren't that many guys that

you can say he's going to carry this movie. Yeah, Paulie. Sean Penn's got a lot of a variety. Going back to fast times of Richmond High, Carlitos Way, dead man walking. Got a lot of puff for that. Milk, mystic river. There's there's a dozen other. Yeah, but he's famous for bearing Madonna. Bonus, cut, sweaty. Really? Heek Madonna. That's a negative. Yeah.

Scratch it off my list. Yes, Marvin. Well, if you're an under a certain age, I just knew him from being a great actor. I didn't know he was married to Madonna until you guys said it may be a year ago. Yeah. I had no idea. So I think generational, that might be a generation of divide right there. Oh, because I was like, oh, he's married to Madonna. Oh, kind of good for him. Eighties Madonna, too. Yeah. Like a virgin. Material good. Well,

90. Yeah. You see. Yeah. I remember being in New York, and we went to a place called Dance of Teria. And yeah, I was dancing. So my wife, my wife worked on the assignment desk at CNN. And we would get, you know, free passes to go to certain clubs. And we didn't make any money,

but she'd always say, hey, I'm with CNN. They thought that we were bringing a camera crew

and they're getting publicity. And I remember that she was, Madonna was just kind of starting.

And I remember somebody saying Madonna is, they give us five floors of dancing. And they talked about that Madonna was there. And that's first time I ever heard that, oh, okay. This is going to be a big deal. Fast forward. Like a year later, maybe two years. And we were CNN was across from the garden. And I remember all of these girls were dressed as Madonna. And they're all, you know, all over the outside the garden. And then I realized Madonna was playing Madison Square Garden.

And then you realize she's a big deal. Big deal. So I, of course, got dressed up like Madonna. And then I went to the show on a mask. Yes, yes. Did you put the little mole on your upper lip? Yeah, I guess I did. Yeah, red lips, little mole. But remember desperately seeking Susan. Rosanna or Kat. Rosanna or Kat, though. I thought was, like I was tuning in to see her. But Madonna was great. Madonna, Madonna could act a little bit there. But yeah, Rosanna or Kat,

she, she had a moment there. When they write songs about you, you know, that's pretty good. When Peter Gabriel's writing a song about you, the light, the heat, your eyes. I am complete, your eyes. This is like a spoken word to her. I'm like Leonard Cohen. You know, when I, Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Yes, Todd. That was a great song from say anything with John Kuzak. Yes, it was. Yes, it was. But they had to, they had to get clearance from Peter Gabriel to allow

them to use that song. And John Kuzak wasn't sold on that song that he's holding up his beatbox there. And the great scene. Great scene. When they talk about John Kuzak's best scenes, Lloyd Dobler, I mean, come on, just in the Malibu. Kickbox, kickboxing.

Cody and Wisconsin leads us off. Good morning, Cody. What's on your mind?

Hey, how's it going, Dan? I'm five and one, 80. I just have a couple, part of the face, that's one specifically for Paulie. I will challenge him, saying that. Brewers win the division, over his cubs and my second one for anybody wanting it is that the Saints will win their division. Why wouldn't rule out anybody in the NFC South? Paulie, I don't know if you want the cubs over the brewer. Well, you can, you get the whole division. He's saying the brewer is win the division.

Yeah, I will take, actually take the cubs straight up in that bed. I want to take the rest of the cash. All right, that's fine. Got a bet there. By the way, I got a hot dog. 10 o'clock.

Respect. Yeah. You know what, the back room guys, Dylan's always whipping up

tater tots or something and I don't know. It just, I walked behind. I go, we got the hot dog roller in there and I said, yeah, put a couple of dogs on there. Yeah, Paul. Places with no food,

Time rules, airports, Las Vegas, our studio.

be concerned about your general health? What? Some point of Dylan's encouraging you to eat hot

dogs and nine, forty five every day. Just just throwing that out there. It might be too late. It might be too late to worry about my, okay. Well, I just wanted to throw that out there. Chris in Syracuse, good morning, Chris. Hey, thanks, Dan. Got a couple of quick baths. A worse than a kind of embruce pearl, uh, baths to the lakeers Austin reased with the perfect miss at the perfect time. And also a baths to the abundance of great coaches in the East region. Yeah, John Shiron is

the Duke Blue Devils at the top row to the final four. Yeah. And a worse hearing that Darren Peterson of Kansas is dealing with sounds like a pretty serious medical issue. The media has been really calling them out this year, but to be fair to them, they weren't make privy to his medical problems. I just feel bad that Darren Peterson had a deal with that criticism as well as health

problems. And when you're only 19 and all the sudden you have to deal with a serious health issue,

that can affect your actions and attitude in a lot of different ways. And Dan, I know Bruce

Pearl is Jewish, but I wonder if his Jewish comet about turning down $30 million will catch a

little blowback today. He's not apologizing. That's for sure. Yes, Todd. I almost jumped in in the middle of that interview. How could you, how could you, how could you know, as a Jewish president with $30 million? What are you doing? Just take the wife's advice. He made a very good point. Like, you know, play it out. And even if you don't have a great year, you know, you still get 10 million in this buyouts and stuff while I leave it all on the table. Any religion.

Gus in LA, hi Gus. Good morning, Mr. Patrick. Hope you're in the boys out of great weekend. That's time for the year, boss. Finally, it's over. I get the rest for the next week. That's the week. Wait, wait. How was the hotel last night? Last night, jumping Saturday night was a big night. Had a big party there. Everybody was there. I mean everybody. I, I, I, I, I accidentally almost like,

I thought I was going to have to quit and disappear for a ride bump into, and I'm only,

I mean, I never named drugs, but like, this one I got. I bumped into Mick Jagger,

like physically bumped into him. And he, yeah, even though he's rocking, he's still frail. Like, you feel the bone when you bump into him. And like, you see him, like, go out better. I'm like, oh my god, yeah, sorry that you good. You good. And he was just like, oh, man, I'm good. And Greg, let's go. And I'm like, all right, he's crushing me away from this man. I'm going to break him. Were you body guarding? No, no, no, no, no, no. I mean, like, I was just, they're like,

oversee it, make sure everything went well, went smooth. I wasn't protecting anybody, but I was just making sure I didn't went smooth, but I was walking through the party. And I was

like, I happened to look at Megan Fox a little too long. And that's what I want to say. How does

Megan Fox look in person? It imagine, like, just how you would imagine you look in person. I mean, like, it is, it's truly scary. You know, people talking about, oh, they're not really human. It's the shapeshifter. She's the only woman on earth that I'm like, that could actually be. I mean, like, I'm like, I'm telling you, I almost injured an 80 year old man just looking at her. And yeah, they're nice this way, man. Hold on. The nicest person that you've ever been around

in your job. Celebrity. The nicest person is I'm talking about actor. Actually, believe or not, he gets a bad rep. This was years ago. This was years ago. Like, more than 10 years ago. He had a bad rep at one point, but Clint Eastwood was he treated me like a grandfather. Like, he was so nice to me. But he had such a bad reputation. Nobody ever believed me. Like, but Clint Eastwood was one of those where it's like, you know, like, he would just come around and

you would just just like walk up to me. And I would like kind of like look around to be like, is this a gag? Like, dude, like, I hear bad stories about how you're rude to people for no reason, but you do come up to me and just be like, hey, how are you doing? How's the family? And I'm, I'm fine. Good years. I mean, like, you hear things when the story is there of like, "Hey, how's your family? Everybody are all right?" And yeah, he was one of the nicest, truly.

Like, pull that like pleasant surprise. All right. You're best in worse for the weekend.

That's what I mean, my life is doing it. That was great to see. They got a rough of

six game stretch coming up. Hopefully, they do well. Worse for the weekend, happened last night, and this one, I got a name drop to the sports related. There, I'm there at the hotel,

All of a sudden, in Watson, Joe, Burrow, and Justin Jefferson.

and they happen to stop right in front of me on six foot one. These guys made me feel five but one.

And I'm like, can you guys like, inside of my mind, I'm like, can you move your conversation? They literally shot right in front of me to talk, and I'm like, "I don't like this. You guys are like literally towering over me at this moment. I'm moving away from me. Get away from me." But like, because like, people are like, "Look at him, man." They're like, "The rest of the night."

If you should have seen these tall guys come by guts, and they like made him look like a kid.

Oh, my God. Well, you survived another one. Thank you, Gus. We'll take a break, Jake Billis. We'll join us next to you on the damn Patrick Show. Headlines, accurate stats to help you win big at the sports book, and all the best guests. Do yourself a favor and listen to straight fire with Jason McIntyre. On the I-Hart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

I'm Nancy Glass, host of the burden of guilt season two podcast. This is a story about a horrendous lie that destroyed two families. Late one night, Bobby Gumpride became the victim of a random crime. He pulls the gun. He tells me to lie down on the ground. He identified Termine Hudson as the perpetrator.

Termine was sentenced to 99 years. And like, "Lord, this can't be real. I thought it was a mistaken identity." The best lie is partial truth. For 22 years, only two people knew the truth. Until a confession changed everything.

I was a monster. Listen to burden of guilt season two on the I-Hart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Why hasn't a woman formally participated in a Formula One race weekend in over a decade?

Think about how many skills they have to develop at such a young age? What can we learn from all of the new F1 romance novels suddenly popping up every year? He's still smelled of podium champagne and expensive friction. And how did a 2023 event called Wagged Getting change the paddock forever? That day is just seared into my memory.

I'm culture writer and F1 expert Lily Herman, and these are just a few of the questions I'm tackling on no grip, a Formula One culture podcast that dives into the under-explored pockets of the sport. In each episode, a different guest and I will go deeper into the wacky miss-haps scandals and sagas, both on the track and far away from it, that have made F1 a delightful, decadent dumpster fire for more than 75 years.

Listen to no grip on the I-Hart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The people was up was up, it's Questlove. So recently I had the incredible opportunity to have a real conversation with actors and producer Jamie Lee Curtis ahead of the release of our new thriller series, Scar Petta.

I can honestly say I've never done an interview like that before, you know, at one point I

set my laptop down and we just started chatting as old friends, recent Oscar recipient. So we have some commonality there, I predict that by the way. And you said these words to me, dust off your mantle. Yes. And I looked at you and I said what? And you said dust off your mantle. And then I left and that was it. And then when all of that happened, I remember the next morning,

I think I wanted to like write you and go, how did you know?

Listen to the Questlove Show or the I-Hart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Clayton Eckard, and in 2022, I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor.

Unfortunately, it didn't go according to plan. He became the first bachelor to ever have his final

rose rejected. The internet turned on him. If I could press a button and rewind it all I would. But what happened to Clayton after the show made even bigger headlines? It began as a one night stand and ended in a courtroom, with Clayton at the center of a very strange paternity scandal. The media is here. This case has gone viral. The dating contract.

Agreed to date me, but I'm also suing you.

seen before. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trapped. This season, an epic battle of

he said she said, and the search for accountability in a sea of lies. I'm done nothing to get ridden by the f**k bachelor. Listen to Love Trapped on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In 2023, a story gripped the UK, evoking horror and disbelief. The nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is now the most prolific child

killer in modern British history. Everyone thought they knew how it ended. A verdict, a villain,

a nurse named Lucy Leppi. Lucy Leppi has been found guilty. But what if we didn't get the full story?

A moment you look at the whole picture in the case collapses.

I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, we follow the evidence and hear from the people that lived it. To ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Leppi was. No voicing of any skepticism are doubt. It'll call so much harm at every single level of the British establishment of this is wrong. Listen to doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

The groundwork is being laid. The NBA will hold a vote at the Board of Governors' meetings. March 24th and 25th, they are exploring adding expansion teams in Las Vegas and Seattle,

and they would be targeted for play, 2028, 2029 season per shams.

I've been waiting for it. I don't think it's a secret to anybody, but that's good. Now we have a timeframe here for that Las Vegas in Seattle. We will give you our best in worst of the weekend coming up. He's Jay Billis, the mothership who is stuck at a Nashville airport joins us on the program. How many people are asking you for tips on how to fill out their brackets? Just a couple. It hasn't been too bad. It's early. I'm sure I'll get more.

Okay, but do you have a standard response when people go, "Hey, I need some help." Yeah, I told him to tune into the show. I gave him on the show. Got any problems with, let's start at the top. Four seeds? You good? No, that was an easy call, I think. There might have been a little bit of discussion. Maybe a week ago about this, you can't get the number one seed, but once they lost the same chance,

I think it was Florida without question. How many teams can win?

I think there are probably seven, maybe, that can win. We're reaching a final four, as you know, as a lot of different. You know, you went four games, something happens in your bracket. But once you get to the final four, that's a different animal. So I think the list of teams that can reach a final four is a long one, but the list that can win it, I think, is a lot shorter. But this is a different year than last year.

You know, last year we led into selection Sunday going, okay, I mean, there's a list of four teams that can win it. And when many of us myself included picked all four number one seeds to make the final four, you know, we got criticized. Like, come on, man, you guys don't chalk and all that stuff. You're going, no, like, this is different. And it's happened before it happened 2008,

the first time since seeding began, but this feels a lot different. I think there's going to be more

disruption and more upsets. The difference that NIL is making in college football to college basketball today is what it's similar. I think we're seeing across the power conferences. The talent is spread out more. You can't stockpile like you used to. I don't think there's enough data to make a conclusion on what's going on with the lower conferences. You know, it coaches complain a lot, and I get why they complain. But the smaller conferences when a player does really well,

that player is likely to go to a bigger stage. But tell me how that's bad. Like, the coaches go to a bigger stage. They go to the NCAA tournament for Miami, Ohio, and they leave for a bigger job. So you expect the players not to have the same ambitions. I actually think the portal works really well there. I don't know about you, but, you know, I had heard of Dalton Connect and seen him play it Northern Colorado, but I only saw him play because I was I was looking at another MBA

prospect that he was playing against. And so was he required because he was under recruited at a high school to stay at Northern Colorado because it makes all the Trump clutching college people feel

Better.

you know, guys like you and me and our age, where we loyal or did we just have no choice. I think it's more the latter than the former. But I'm not surprised when I hear this guy started at this college and anyone to this college and now he's at this college. Would you limit the number of times you could transfer? I would limit it by contract. So what you'd do is sign a player to a multi-year contract and put significant buyouts in it. So the choice, the choice there

is does the player sign a way that right in an arms-like bargaining position and maybe you take more money to stay or less money to have the option to leave after a certain period of time, but it's got to be negotiated. And if you wanted to do something different, you do it by collective bargaining. You know, people often say to me, well, there's a salary cap in the MBA. Well, yeah, the players agree to it and it's for the betterment of the whole, but the players are part of it.

There's choice involved. We've lived in a system at least people of our age lived in a system where

it was unilaterally imposed on the players. And you know, that was never right. It was never legal.

And now that has been ruled illegal by the Supreme Court, people have gotten a little more rational about it. Talking to Jay Bellis of the mothership, we were talking about Rick Patino earlier today. His ability to evolve or change. I mean, you go back to, you know, when he started, embracing the three when he was at Providence and you know, Louisville and Kentucky and Iona over in Greece. I mean, most of the guys his age have bowed out because they don't want to deal with

all of this. Like, how do you explain Patino? I think the first and foremost is just a

basketball junkie. Like he has to have the game. And he's one of the best teachers that has ever lived. I put you be brown up there in that category of understanding and teaching the game. And I just don't think he can imagine a life without it. Yeah, I know he plays golf and he has other interests. You know, you've been the horsefield and stuff like that. But he's not willing to to go do that full time and just sort of enjoy the later stages of the life. He still wants to be

in the, in the, in the fray. And I, I really like that. I mean, you know, can you imagine Daniel we were younger? Like I grew up in LA in the shadow of UCLA. And John Wooden retired when I was like at fifth grade in 1975. He was 65 years old and I thought he was the oldest man that ever lived. And now these guys are going into their mid to late 70s. And I think it's great. But man, if you're a younger coach, want to want to work your way up your going, geez, how old do I have

to be to get a head coaching child that I want? The coverage of Miami of Ohio. How do you explain it?

You know, I think it's been largely fair. Like I'm, I applaud Miami, Ohio being in the field.

But the committee is doing something they've never done before. They've gone essentially against

their principles of strength of scheduling and having to play people like who did you play and who did you beat? Like, look, Miami is really good. So I would not argue with any basketball person that says, look, I think they're one of the best teams in the at large pool and they deserve to be at. And that's a fair judgment to make. But if we're going to sit here and say like the chairman of the committee and I'm forgetting his name and I apologize. But was talking last night

saying, well, Miami went in the field before, you know, NC State or Texas are all that. But when they really scrubbed, you know, they call it scrubbing. When they really scrubbed the resumes, then Miami of Ohio was moved to actually the last team in the field. And you're like, well, did you scrub them against the teams that you left out? Like, you know, what's the, what's the metric here? Because if you go by Ken Palm.com, which does all the per 100 possession metrics,

they're in the 90s. And look, they're good. But they didn't play anybody. And I don't buy this thing about we couldn't get better games. Like, I'm not saying that that Duke, which I'm in play you, those those things are difficult. But come on, man, you can play a better schedule. But now they're in the tournament. They're going to date and they have an opportunity to

prove themselves. And I think they're going to quit themselves really well. Because they're really,

they're very, very good. Yeah. Well, it's basically a home game for Miami,

Ohio, because in Dayton, you know, that's 40 minutes away, would you have, if you were on the committee, would you have argued to keep them out with their resume? I wouldn't have argued that, but I would have said, what are our principles here? Like, you know, we're looking at these other teams with different metrics than we're looking at this team. And look, I think it's great. Like, I think it's a great story. It makes everybody feel good. It's great. And so I'm in favor of

Them being in the tournament.

we got to have a feel good story here. Because, you know, there seems to be this feeling that the little guy kind of deserves a chance. And they have a chance. Everybody has the same chance. This is the fairest thing possible that everybody, every school, every team has the same chance to get in the tournament. When you're automatic bed against your peers and a league, you've chosen to be in.

If you can't do that, you go in the pool with everybody else and they take the best teams out first.

Now, if they're one of the best teams, then take them out. I'm fine with that. But, you know, we act like the players that are at some of the teams that were left out from major conferences, that they don't have feelings, that they don't care, and that they don't want to be in the tournament. You know, and if we're going to say, hey, you know, you had plenty of chances. I'm good with that. If we say, you lost too much. That's fine. But, you know, I don't know how to exactly

how to measure, did you play enough quality games? Because, you know, Miami, Ohio played only one game against the Quad 2 team. No Quad 1 games. Everything was Quad 3 and Quad 4. If a team out of the Atlantic tended, that they'd be dismissed in no time. And to me, like, I've heard people say this, if Miami of Ohio had lost just one game this year. But, well, I guess they wouldn't be in that large. If they had lost to Akron and then lost in their tournament, now they'd be out.

Like, if that's what, that's the difference. You know, it's a me that doesn't make a whole lot of

sense. Best pro prospect that we'll see in the tournament as home. AJ Deponse of BYU and then Darius Acre of Junior at Arkansas. I mean, this tournament is loaded with great players. Like, this

draft is as good as I can remember, especially a freshman. And I've never seen a freshman class

this deep of a really, really good players. And there've been, obviously been great drafts before where the top five were just as good or something like that. But we've never had a draft like this where you go 20 deep of freshman that are 18, 19 years old. They're this good. I mean, think about this now. Like, you know, on the day that, you know, again, the pro clutch in college basketball people were losing their minds over Charles Vediaco coming in from the GD league.

And Charles Vediaco scored, I think, 12 points that day. And we had three freshmen that went further 40. And we were all worried about Charles Vediaco. I got to get a Duke question in, don't I? Am I, am I required to? Yes, as am I. Is that a North Carolina blue that you have on

or is that a Duke blue? No, that that's a great question. Because I think it's important,

important for everybody to understand this, especially North Carolina people. North Carolina, the color light blue was invented before the University of North Carolina was established. And I went to Rolling Hill's high school in Los Angeles, Go Titans. And the colors were blue and gold. And I am a loyal, loyal supporter of my high school. Even though they changed the name of it, it is no longer Rolling Hill's high school. It's now peninsula high school. Because our archival

palace birdies, we smelled dead fish, closed down for a period that combined the schools, and they didn't want to hurt pv's feelings. And then pv opened up again. It was a conspiracy, Dan. But I think I'm still the all-time leading score at Rolling Hill's high school, because the peninsula numbers don't count. I like that. Duke, should be the favorite? Yes, but they they've got some injury issues. Caleb Foster, they're starting guard, has a foot injury, and I don't know when he's going to

be back. If he'll be back, I'm hopeful that he will well for their sake. And then Patrick Dungba, their center didn't play in the ACC tournament. They held him out with another foot issue. So if they're not 100%, that's certainly limits their ceiling, but they've got the most consistent

and productive player, I think, in the tournament in Cameron Booser, like the numbers he's been

putting up are outrageous. You know, for John Shire to have Cooper Flag and Cameron Booser back to back, that's pretty, pretty good recruiting. Safe travels. We'll talk to you soon. Thank you, Jay. Thank you, brother. Jay Bill, it's if you see him at the Nashville airport, go up and say hello, asking some questions about your brackets. Duke beat Virginia,

second straight ACC tournament that they've won, top seat in the tournament. Duke is one 11 in

a row. So there's six teams bringing double digit winning streaks into the tournament. High point. High point. How are you? 14 game winning streaks. Maryland Baltimore County, UMBC, 12 in a row, South Florida, 11, Akron, 10, McNeese, 10.

That is a day, that past, that of the day, that of the day.

consecutive tournaments, huh? Yes, for Duke and 11 game winning streaks. Yeah, high point. I was looking

back and I thought Kansas would be one of those teams where they never missed one. They've missed a couple.

Well, this is winning their, their second straight conference tournament. Right. What do you mean with Kansas? Oh, no, we were talking a little bit earlier about a straight tournament appearances.

Oh, well, Kansas is, um, what's that number? Like six or seven in a row, maybe?

Yeah. Yeah, I have the number somewhere. Once again, I think I need to get a secretary over here because the papers are silent. They are. They are. Uh, okay. Let me take a break. When we come back, we will give you our best and worst to the weekend after this. Fox Sports Radio has the best Sports Talk lineup in the nation. Catch all of our shows at Fox SportsRadio.com. And within the I-Hard Radio App search, F-S-R to listen live. I'm Nancy Glass, host of the burden of guilt season two podcast.

This is a story about a horrendous lie that destroyed two families. Late one night, Bobby Gumpride became the victim of a random crime. He pulls the gun. Tells me to lie down on the ground. He identified Termaine Hudson as the perpetrator. Termaine was sentenced to 99 years. And like, Laura, this can't be real. I thought it was a mistake in identity. The best lie is partial truth. For 22 years, only two people knew the truth.

Until a confession changed everything. I was a monster. Listen to burden of guilt season two on the I-Hard Radio App, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Why hasn't a woman formally participated in a Formula One race weekend in over a decade?

Think about how many skills they have to develop at such a young age? What can we learn from all of the new F-One romance novels suddenly popping up every year? He's still smelled of podium champagne and expensive friction. And how did a 2023 event called Waga Getting change the paddock forever? That day is just seared into my memory. I'm a culture writer and F-One expert Lily Hermann.

And these are just a few of the questions I'm tackling on no grip. A Formula One culture podcast that dives into the under-explored pockets of the sport. In each episode, a different guest and I will go deeper into the wacky miss-hap scandals and sagas, both on the track and far away from it, that have made F-One a delightful, decadent dumpster fire for more than 75 years. Listen to no grip on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

The people with some was up, it's Questlove. So recently, I had the incredible opportunity to have a real conversation with actors and producer Jamie Lee Curtis ahead of the release

of our new thriller series, Scar Petta. I can honestly say I've never done an interview

like that before, you know, at one point I set my laptop down and we just started chatting as old friends, recent Oscar recipient. So we have some commonality there. I predict that, by the way. And you said these words to me, dust off your mantle. Yes. And I looked at you and I said, what? And you said dust off your mantle. And then I left and that was it. And then when all of

that happened, I remember the next morning I think I wanted to like write you and go,

how did you know? Listen to the Questlove show on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Clayton Eckard, and in 2022, I was the lead of ABC's The

Bachelor. Unfortunately, it didn't go according to plan. He became the first bachelor to ever

have his final rose rejected. The internet turned on him. If I could press a button and rewind it all I would. But what happened to Clayton after the show made even bigger headlines? It began as a one night stand and ended in a courtroom with Clayton at the center of a very strange paternity scandal. The media is here. This case has gone viral. The dating contract. Agreed to date me, but I'm also suing you. This is unlike anything I've ever seen before.

I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. This season, an epic battle of he said she said,

In 2023, a story gripped the UK, evoking horror and disbelief. The nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is now the most prolific child killer in modern British history. Everyone thought they knew how it ended. A verdict, a villain, a nurse named Lucy Leppi.

Lucy Leppi has been found guilty. But what if we didn't get the full story?

A moment you look at the whole picture of the case collapses. I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, we follow the evidence and hear from the people that lived it. To ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Leppi was. No voicing of any skepticism are doubt. It'll cause so much harm at every single level of the British establishment of this is wrong. Listen to doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple podcasts,

or wherever you get your podcasts. If you were watching the show, you got to see our acting skills. When we were in San Francisco for the big game, we checked out the relax. It's a blood test air stream, and it's about easing all the stress around prostate cancer screening. And encouraging

you to take that first step. And a lot of guys avoid the screening because they think that it starts

with the finger test. But really, the first step is a simple PSA blood test. That can make a real difference when it comes to early detection. And sometimes people say, oh, when you're 50, you get this done. Like a colonoscopy. No. If you're 40 or older, talk to your doctor about your risk when it comes to getting screen. So you can learn more at relax. It's a blood test.com. Great cause. Do it early. And it's really easy. And you know, going in the air stream and you

just sit there and you relax, you get a blood test and then that's it. And then you get the results via head of the game because you know, having friends who have died from prostate cancer, they all say the

same thing. I wish I would have got screened earlier. How about best to work to the weekend,

Todd? I'm going to start with you. Best of the weekend, some love for Vandy with a dominant victory in the SEC tournament semi final taken down Florida, 91, 74, leaving the gators feeling a bit swamped. And for worse to the weekend on the either selection Sunday, the Yukon Husky-Sorry Marvin going down 10, nothing early at Madison Square Garden in the Big East Conference Championship

game took them over four minutes. I believe it's score any points, losing badly to Rick Petino,

St. John's Redstone, 72, 52. Sweet and best to work for the weekend. I'm going to say my best to the weekend is sinners doing really well at the Oscars Ryan Coolgler. It's good for him. He's a hell of a movie maker. My worst to the weekend is that the Oscars continues to find more and more time to do bits, which takes away time from people getting to say, "Hey, thanks to everyone who helped me." I'm not saying that the thank you speeches are the best part of the Oscars.

I'm not saying that, but people should be given at least enough time to be like, "Hey, this is the crowning jewel of my entire life. This is my life's achievement. I don't need to be rushed off the stage to watch some goofy five minute scripted bit." Marvin, best in worse to the weekend. My best at the weekend is looking at not just hitting the game winner and an overtime game against the nuggets. That was a really good one Saturday night. Worst of the weekend, Timothy Schallemey. He was

the favorite to win for Marty Supreme. Came out of loser. Hey, look like a winner, though. Did it? Yeah. You like to suit? Well, he was next to Kylie Jenner and we highly looked like a winner. Yeah. I thought she was going to go with a gold like a Oscar gold, but that's good that she didn't. She had been calling her shot there for Timothy Schallemey. But Michael B. Jordan ends up with the big prize. Yes, Paul. Is Schallemey kind of like her shall walker as a freshman or Adrian Peterson as

a freshman for the Heisman? Little young. He's got a lot more reps. He's too young. Well, I don't know if he's too young. Well, a guy like him you think has a bunch more chances to win.

And that's why he may not have won this time. Timothy Schallemey, the old Adrian Peterson,

comparison with the Schallemey. Timothy Schallemey or he may not have. Okay. He may not have. Timothy Schallemey not have. James in Virginia, best in worst of the weekend, James.

Thank you for taking my call, brother.

Every time the look of the commanders guys, wonderful talking man. Always listening though.

Always listening man. Speaking of watching him after the first week of reagency,

love the moves that they made. They brought in a lot of youth and athleticism. Can't wait to see what they do in the draft. I hope I hear either down Kate or love at the number seven takeman. For some forward last night, that game, the energy, the atmosphere was palpable. You can feel it through the TV, the WBC then the USA. I felt like they got a few balls of behind the plate from the Empire, especially that last one, but you take the W. Can't wait to see what

they can do and let the madness begin. Wow, this is this March madness to me is going to be exciting.

I think 12 teams can make the final four. Only once and when it goes blue, I love it.

Staying zombie gone bad guy. I think they're going to make a run. Always great talking gentlemen.

I hope you have a great day and a great week. Thank you, James. Adam and Michigan. Hi, Adam. Yeah, hey, Dave. Take my call. Yeah. Best Norse, don't really have a worse, but best Jason Bradley for University of Arizona. The dagger versus Iowa State on Friday was such a nice shot. And just two things on that. I'm wondering if the hall of very good runs through Tucson. I think you can build a case that that's where it lives. And then also Leo, he's the goat of actors.

He's got to be in full question that one up, but I think Leo, go on and take that one from me. Thank you, Adam. Leo's not the goat, but it's too early for that. Although he's 50, didn't he? So I've made you, I don't know. I don't look him as the goat. Yes, Mark. But he's got the career basically every actor would like. You're a movie star and consider to great actors simultaneously. How many people are in that category?

There's 51. 51. Tim and Portland. Good morning, Tim. What do you have for me? Oh, good morning, Dan. I just wanted to mention you mentioned Madonna and all of her movie. What do you think of a league of their own on Peacock ground in 1992? Best movies of 1998, too. I can just list them out. Few good men, bodyguard, home alone, too. I mean, it just keeps going on. Bodyguard is not a great movie. But thank you, Tim. I've got Madonna was

great in league of their own. She kind of played Madonna. I think. Dick Tracy was she not?

Yeah, I don't think the fun. That was that good. I mean, she's no Lady Gaga. Oh, though, I think Madonna had a problem with Lady Gaga. I felt like was she copying one of her songs or felt like she was imitate. I don't know. They felt like there was some beef there. Mark and St. Clown is back. I'm Mark. Dan, thanks for coming back. Appreciate it. Anyway, a couple of things. I don't really have a best of the weekend. I'm glad to get an IT keeps to roll on. I see

the CBI is going to be done for this year. Worst of the weekend, St. John's hockey, St. Ben's hockey, St. Blitz statements, basketball, all limited from instantly tournament play. And I have a stat of the day. Mark, especially this week, most popular time for best

activities so that none can sit out and watch all kinds of basketball given birth to the

term vast madness. All right. Thank you, Mark. I will not be joining vast, mad madness. We'll head to Hollywood coming up, Kevin Frazier, Michelle Turner. They have, of course, on loan from entertainment tonight. They'll join us. More of your phone calls as well. I'm Nancy Glass, host of the Bird Nov Guild Season 2 podcast. I'm Clayton Nackard, in 2022, I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor.

But here's the thing, Bachelor fans hated him. If I could press a button and rewind it all I would,

that's when his life took a disturbing turn. A one-night stand would end in a courtroom. The media is here, this case has gone viral. The dating contract. A great a date mean, but I'm also suing you.
