we spent some time talking about bam out of bio getting 83 on the wizards Jason Jackson the voice of the Miami heat will join us coming up here momentarily Max Crosby going back to Las Vegas and the ravens didn't take long they went out and got tray Hendricks in from the Bengals

and it's a four-year deal worth a hundred and twelve million dollars if you're Joe Burrow you're

probably thinking Max Crosby going back to the raiders then all of a sudden it's your former teammate tray Hendrickson he'll be in the division you get to see him twice you get to see Miles Garrett twice and TJ watt twice but that big deal with tray Hendrickson and we speculated on where he might go if you're the raiders though you've already looked at your your free agency plan was operating as if Max Crosby was off the books you know you had to absorb genoved Smith salary you went out and

spent a lot of money on your center Tyler Lyndon bomb a quay walker to Kobe Dean so you're spending money and other teams were affected because the cowboys were looking at Max Crosby they turned to Rasheon Gary and then since it had he would tray Hendrickson and his negotiating leverage probably skyrocketed when Max Crosby was set back to Vegas but this Max Crosby deal

devastating I think for the raiders because as great as he is they don't want him back because

they don't want to spend that kind of money because they're not ready to win and you could send him

and get two first round picks the ravens said you know what we were concerned about the long term

durability I don't know what long term is in the NFL I'm assuming long term means like two years because I don't think they're going to be worried if Max Crosby can get up the steps you know when he's 45 years of age 877 3DP show email address [email protected] twitter handle at dp show we say good morning to our radio affiliates i heart radio fox sports radio and those watching on peacock and the mbc sports network taught is Jason Jackson going to join us coming

up in about 15 minutes that's correct okay all right just want to make sure I got the traffic here it's busy day I know you're working hard um the Max Crosby story uh diner recini was going to join us now she's talking to Max Crosby so she'll have an update for us coming up uh well when she joins us

I think next hour but uh she said I can't do it I'm going to be talking to Max and I said hold off

we welcome whatever he has to say after being sent back to Las Vegas all right pull question there seat and what are we going to go with an hour two we've got up there right now more surprising the Crosby trade being called off bam dropping 83 or Italy beating the United States of America in baseball okay so I would say bam getting 83 bam getting 83 has 42% of

the vote and that it's a tie for second between the Crosby trade and Italy beating the U.S

all right um I would probably put team USA losing to Italy way down on the list Max Crosby that trade that shocked it I think that shocked a lot of people but yesterday the whole idea of Italy beating the United States was a punchline like we were we were laughing about it about the idea of of Italy actually what and they even have a team who knew that they even had a team that I'm shocked that people are are not surprised at that yeah but they got a lot of players who play in the major leagues

so I mean you got a chance so far the only thing that the Italian team had really been

known for as having a espresso machine in there dugout other than that it was just like yeah so anyway USA Japan we all know how this is going um well maybe after the fact I'm not surprised after watching them play last night then I'm I'm not surprised but yesterday I would have been surprised yes I'm a journalist here all right got it yes uh poll question frower who is going to be what poll question for hour two well actually you know we just got hour one up there so we're going to let

that breathe for a minute we also have two here from Todd the ravens did that that the raiders dirty or the right thing I'm going to say both because if they realized that there was some kind of structural damage that would concern them and and you can rescind the trade you can send him back and you could still keep your two first round picks this year next year they did the right thing

Ethically but though it sounds strange to say that with the NFL but ethically...

and how you deal with one another I'm assuming you know he's not he doesn't have a healthy knee at that position the way he plays coming off surgery I just don't know you can say hey we're concerned about long-term durability and then all of a sudden you're done I don't know if it was buyer by a remorse you know could have been that it's like when you buy a house and then all of a sudden you go oh my god did we overspend and then you get the inspection

and then you say to the person inspecting could you please find something so we get out of this

yeah poorly I think it's irony tray Hendrickson missed a good chunk of the season I think

ten games with a hip and core muscle injury Max Crosby's injured wanted to keep playing and his team shut him down when he wanted to keep playing the ravens aren't concerned about tray Hendrickson's long-term durability apparently they'll wave the medical yes so tray has a hard time walking after four years the ravens won't be as concerned but they will be concerned about Max Crosby right eight seven seven three dp show email address [email protected] Twitter handle had dp show

let's see Alfred and Chicago leads us off this second hour I Alfred hey Dan first time caller five eleven two hundred

so this critical reaction to BAM's 83 kind of reminds me of the critical reaction to Roger Maris

was 61 and 61 he wasn't supposed to break up favorite single season record making as well as also Maris did in an extra rig of the season games as compared with the babe so for decades Maris's record had a pastry scarecrow anyway I'd love to hear what you and the data have to say about that thank you very much I love the show thank you Alfred I don't think there'll be an asterisk there might be a mental one attached to it by the way it played out and uh once again we'll talk

to Jason Jackson who's the voice of the Miami heat because they were going out of their way the game was out of reach it was not in doubt and they were trying to make sure that BAM out of Iowa would get more opportunities which he did turbo in Buffalo hey turbo hey Dan thanks for taking my call I have a couple interesting stat lines Todd was saying earlier that well there's spring out of the column Tristan you could bitch I'm looking at my robot machine here he played seven

minutes he had five personal files and I top of it look at BAM I wrote that stat line 24 for him this 23 shot and then 3.7 for 22 and then the three point line 36 for 40 to 43 free for our

test I remember you did it or I don't remember but when you played in high school I remember getting

the free to line one to anytime then I start to embarrass like it's ridiculous I never felt embarrassed

to go to the free throw line ever any it's a lot of shots it's a lot of free throws seven for 22 from three point range yeah Paulie I'm looking at the box score of wizards heat which I would never have done ever in my life and the amount of players who you would know from both these rosters is shocking that there's no will Riley trade Johnson Anthony Gill Myron Gardner Kelly Larson I mean there just nobody's you know cheese where's the star power did

trade young play now he he he watch us one because he would have answered with 70 oh you go yeah that's two yeah yeah he had a couple of files to give uh John and Illinois hi John what's on your mind hey Dan 6 3 265

if you want to say you're great and you're staying in your lane when it comes to this topic because I think

scoring 83 it's scoring 83 however you do it you get it and I'm a serious Kobe Bryant fan

and it hurts but he's always going to be remembered as a great band will probably just be

remembered in a second place person in a band that's had a pretty good career went to the NBA finals twice it's a good career four time all defensive player they just weird where you go man he's great defensive player and he scored the second most points in the history of the NBA Cody in Texas I Cody what's on your mind hey Dan you know I think bam you know it's a great accomplishment but you know look at two separate things you know

Whether it's Kobe's 81 or Kobe's 81 or or Bam's 83 you know it's a different ...

that what's the most impressive you know to me the most impressive of all time was LeBron's

game five back in a seven against Detroit Detroit was easily the best defensive team you know are you with the spurs that year but you know from three minutes until the fourth quarter in the game to double over time he scored 25 straight points and won that game that is easily more you know impressive than Kobe's 81 or even Bam's 83 yeah it's it's hard to compare what did Isaiah do on a bad ankle against the lakers and the NBA finals that he scored like

20 23 points I think in a quarter he scored 23 I have had 43 in the game yeah yeah that was

pretty impressive on a bad ankle against the lakers in Los Angeles but there's been so many great performances and yes you know LeBron with what he did I can look what Michael Jordan did against the Celtics in the Boston garden I mean he lost the game but that's where everybody in the NBA especially Larry Bird realized there's a new sheriff in town in fact I think Larry even said that so when you're talking about historical performances that was a chain literally changing of the

guard it went from it's magic Larry Larry magic now it's Mike's and Mike never looked back so if you

look at historical performances that's when Mike and the bulls put the Celtics in everybody in the NBA on notice this is this is just numbers this is math that was something that was

exit tangible you saw something that changed the NBA that day yeah Marvin and it's the perfect

time to do it because there's no NFL season so if he did this in early November I'm not even sure if it would have been a mention we would know it would be mentioned if he put up 83 you said I said mentioned but it wouldn't be like a full segment yes it would it's 83 points I would have worked in the rundown he was it's still 83 you're right it's still real to me damn it you're right but just this time of year oh my gosh here is Bam out of bio on when he realized he was having a special night

probably when I have 45 at the half obviously my team makes this very geek the half time so for me it was just romantic I'm a romantic locked in and I understand it like I can go for some special night I didn't think it was gonna be 83 but it's surreal because I got saved man to be able to do it at home front of my mom in front of my people front of the home fan so this is a

marking history that will forever be remember yeah he had so many points he forgot how many

points he had it have time he gave himself 45 it have time as they gave 43 yeah pulling this is not a direct comparison but back in the late 80s John Stockton had the record with 27 assists in an NBA game that was the all-time record at the time a year later it got passed by Scott Skiles a guy not in danger going to the Hall of Fame it's a little apples and oranges but it's a little the same he passed Stockton and Stockton probably loved that record I don't think Stockton cared about

any he had to actually Stockton had the top three games for assists all time and Scott Skiles passed him a year later yeah Scott Skiles just celebrated a birthday here a couple of days ago gritty gutty Scott he loved him you loved him I liked him at Michigan State he had a socks pulled

up all the way to his knees he was never fast enough quick enough he wasn't anything other than

he was just gritty and gutty he's a none time all star but he has the ultimate sister record for a game that's cool no like a Marvin's holding his head when I say you know gritty gutty probably first one in last one leave gosh probably son of a coach NBA players gritty and gutty I'm sorry this has to just be a little bit of talent gosh it's kills me especially when it's like white point guards oh you super athlete oh my god he didn't teach him a comedy he's gritty and gutty he went to Arizona

he did something before that was all American hate Peyton Richard score in seven gutty what yeah gritty and gutty oh goodness was Mark Jackson gritty and gutty just gritty yeah he couldn't get the other half of him he wasn't gutty now if he was white he would have been gritty and gutty oh yeah yeah that's true you can't be black and be gritty and gutty like oh it's just natural ability he's just natural is his or black player who's gritty and gutty Marvin who rondo you know what I don't think it's for

Point guards you had to be like a powerful you got to be like bow outlaw to b...

I think you got to be on that level you got to be clearance weather spoon

about tyrone tea time hill come on you and gutty all first team gritty and gutty all first team smile

damn you happy he had you know that the the actress who was in white lotus this last season who had the part and her teeth uh forget what her name is last name maybe wood that the tyrone tea time hill they uh he had kind of the plankton tunnel that all comparison the girl from white lotus and tyrone hell we're doing that again yep yes see see did we mention uh mock a small

good girl small that is a gritty gutty player right there I like you know who I think doesn't

get enough credit for being gritty and gutty too aside from mock a small uh Jimmy Butler Jimmy Butler is a gritty gutty player you might be too talented to be gritty gutty burly bulls gritty gutty he might want to be gritty gutty I think he might think he is gritty and gutty I agree with Paulie maybe early bulls gritty gutty and I love a sudden it's like man he's really good like kawaii might have

been gritty and gutty when he first got to San Antonio then you start showing talent man yeah yeah

yes Marvin Marcus smart I'm not sure if I could put him in the gritty and gutty what because he was I am he was a lottery pick I can't give you gritty and gutty your pick seventh overall you can you could be a lottery pick and be gritty and gutty well I don't know maybe he regressed in and kind of morphed into a gritty gutty guy are we saying lottery picks don't do the dirty work generally but I'm not I don't want you to be gritty and gutty is the seventh pick yeah Paul the actress's name

from white lotus Amy Lou Wood yeah and she her teeth yeah she's um they're like independent contractors all her teeth she she was graded white lotus smoking her teeth are independent contract yeah they appear to be doing their own thing separate from each other you see kids

now that want to have the space between their teeth they aspire to this yes this yes I think so

I think it's a thing I think I think they're like a gap in your teeth yeah then what did I just hey twenty thousand dollars oh no okay let me take a break Jason Jackson let Jason know he's got to defend this performance my man out of bio how dare you score 83 the way you did it still real to you we'll be back after this be sure to catch the live edition of the Dan Patrick show weekdays at 9 a.m. Eastern six a.m. Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the

structuring with Jackson creates about forty million dollars in salary cap space for this upcoming season

similar to what Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen have done this off season for their teams Jason Jackson voice of the Miami heat was on the call on radio last night by the way before I get to jay jacks there was some logic that crept in last night with the Washington Wizards broadcast there announced or Chris Miller suggested that the Miami heat were prepared to take bam out a bio out and out a respect for Kobe Bryant and that didn't happen of course and we

welcome in Jason Jackson what should we remember about this performance of that I had to make the call

on free throws I think that's the only thing that you should have to worry about Daniel lovely

Flat all this morning by the way there in Maine 80 degrees here in South Flor...

damn t-shirt on I think the thing that we have to do and and I'm not sure if you're willing to do this is this at this stage in life damn we have to step back sometimes remember we cover sports it's just sports it's fun it was funky it was weird it was cool and then we move on they don't want we want another game so the Miami heat of one six in a row moved out of the plane spot that's all that really matters the main thing is the main thing it's winning but for

bam I think it's going to be one of the most memorable things in his life because he grew up

in a single wide trailer with a single mother in North Carolina dreaming about Kobe Bryant and had a really cool moment as a guy who has done everything right who doesn't really focus on scoring who made his craft in this league as a defender and rebounder who took the mantle from Alonzo Morning Dwayne Wade and Udana's Haslam as a culture carrier for this organization and it's been to the finals twice and hasn't been able to stay at the mountain top just yet in

those areas and then also takes on the responsibility of being the lead force in the community

for organization that part of it all feels good this is one of the first let's put air quote

great heat players who I have been able so I'll make it about me now there I'll have been able to see from draft night to all the way through what I arrived here in 2004 Dwayne Wade was already a player and the bronze James came to Miami already was a player and so this is it's just fun for the fan base anything outside of that it just kind of filters into this hated mode we didn't have social media in 2006 when Kobe went for anyone so I'm not sure the response probably

would have had its level of and it as well there's literally no video we have a sheet of paper with 100 on it for a will I'm sure old Nick's fans are still trying to want to live that night let me just say I look for Chris Miller to my good friend Chris Miller for a moment I will fill a buster sir I will say this what were you pressing full court and triple teaming the man

for and the second half of the fourth quarter it created it created what probably you're not

loving is the basketball purish that I know the proud son of Mason Ohio is presented right now well no I keep telling everybody it's still 83 okay it's still at the end of the day 10 years 20 years and still 83 I did think about this how do you think Kobe if he were still with us would have viewed that performance last night the way there was intentionally fouling keeping him in the game the games out of reach how do you think Kobe would have viewed that performance

Kobe had a level of rinker that would have possibly a finger wagged it but I think Kobe would

like bam and bam's game overall from a night in night out basis so there might have been a little

love there you know the gold medal club from team USA you never know how those things go

I've gotten older Dan I will I will turn 53 here as winter turns to spring I've decided that I am in search of joy all of the time all of the time so we we're calling a game like this obviously you can't anticipate on a Tuesday night against the wizards that's something unique and special it's going to occur so I say thank you it's reach bad about a bio and probably bad hates when you use this it's given me but I don't get to say it up so I thought I thought out for you

okay did you talk to Spolaster about his philosophy down the stretch when he realized that he had a chance to surpass Kobe I am on the set live about 200 yards away when that happens damn but it

was asked of him and it was aired on heat live last night and I think he gave the most beautiful

answer in the sense that for that guy for what he's meant for nearly a decade to the head coach and to the franchise for those that don't watch mine he passed away every single night you're not going to connect with this fiber right this is about a guy that took the torch from a guy who played for 20 years and you don't as hazelnut and the best player in history and doing way and put the entire organization and what it means and the heat culture that makes everybody roll their eyes and all of that

on his shoulders you went to Kentucky just like the president of the organization fat Riley like all of it and does a beautiful job with it is only you know he's not necessarily a big in your face rah rah barker but the way that he goes about his craft as a world-class defender

A outstanding if not elite rebounder and a guy who's developed you've watched...

seasons developed his game into the modern big man gotta go out and knock it down from 23 feet

never but when it came out I could talk you there was no way I would have thought bad would be a three-point

shooter but has become super serviceable and does whatever is asked of him I think this is the thing

that's most warming about it he thinks about scoring least from the dribble hand off to the actual assist he's setting up other guys offensively to score and so it's just I'm leaving it as what I assume is a one-off like I was like you okay the use court was fantastic that was real basketball that was just him lighting guys up and and then when he got to halftime and they're already had his career high plus it was it was wild the where it could go okay being the basketball

purist that you are take yourself out of take your mind we need headphones off and look at that in the last five minutes of the game right would you have a problem because you're the anomaly like you're all in you saw history you saw something great the reaction I've gotten this morning is

people are really upset but I think part of that has to do with Kobe but let's just look at the

actual basketball style that was played in the last five minutes or so yeah I probably if I was calling it on the other side I would have been snarky-ish with a hint of but it's still competition

you gotta try to stop him you know so that's where I always get because I do get not like if it's a

Celtic's he game and you know browner Tatum's gone nuts and they're still in and the game's gone and there's three minutes to go I note that there are sometimes special moments and if you're gunning for something I'm fine with that I tend to be but I will I will some some serious village of even day all snark will be coming out fully from my throat no doubt he's Jason Jackson the voice of the Miami heat greatest NBA performance you've ever witnessed whether regular season postseason

did I have to be in person did I have to be in person for us at the key no no um I will tell you

I you know there's two of them I'll tell you when San Antonio closed out in 99 that that was it was it was not it was a moment more than a performance I'll give you the performance in a moment it because avery knocked down that last jumper baseline if I'm remembering that correctly the only reason I wouldn't remember is because you and Stuart Scott would push me out of the way and I couldn't do any sports overhead so thank goodness for asking me to do so yeah thank you

thank you news for giving me some time to talk about these things I'm allegedly covering you in shit Robinson did see the reference coming down thank you for that focus and then lock it in lock it in yellow bro but the best performance I've ever seen was game six the bronze jams in Boston you win that game or it's not you know by the way you gotta win the game because it does it allow for the the the the war of him becoming a champion to even present itself in the appropriate

way but on the road 40 plus believe nine rebounds handful of assists that's scowl looking underneath the brow that forever hangs on the walls in Miami that thing was that that was just look it was literally like watching a lion walk the serengetty and eat everything along the way but that was pretty astonishing by the way I'm that has watching someone score that much and and the willingness of the wizards to put that man on the line as much as they did again it was it was astonishing

in a different way and so I don't want to take anything from from bamcers bam is given us so much is the broadcast going to the basketball whole thing the dog to pass the bronze uh the handle

say record the bam slam which was all first of all always tasty all right you want some

bumper nickel with that one all right and you might want to toast it you might want to listen and that was it that after that it then I will I'll admit this only to you and your illustrious audience here on peacock and the great thing about being here with you is there's literally a peacock outside my window screaming all morning long and then I'm on peacock with you it's the best on brand but I started thinking about this and you you've known me since I was a a young young adult

I I lean towards fun and funny it's what I it just it provides me with my sustenance

After he passed will bronze I was like okay now you're calling stuff that mig...

let's just kind of let's get it right down the middle and and it was tough because I I've

listened back and and the moment for 83 happened at the freethole line anyway so it wasn't going to

provide for this full beautiful bearer tone that I've that I've that I've cherished and presented through bourbon and cigars all these years it didn't it didn't have that full moment there yeah you got you love the bams you know what's absolutely you like oh you of course but you you got cheated you needed a jumper you needed a slam you needed something not free throws you know when you're calling something it's let's make it about bam let's not okay my about yeah okay sorry

by the way you know what you need on the wall back there buddy I want you to hop on Miami heat store dot com right now for 83 dollars you can get yourself an authentic bam jersey now if all we can see when you go back there by the bars you've seen yeah yeah you're already haven't you already have it yeah oh you have everything what was I think yeah autographed yeah oh yeah you know what I got for you right there hot mail yeah yeah I think it says

from one score to another I thought it says if you reach I see that's what that said right there

see glory it's vano white work out of you by the way thank you see by the way that told story about me playing against stewards Scott that was supposed to be in the documentary it didn't make it in the documentary who had the audacity to come up they wanted me to tell the story and I said no let's somebody else and they said oh we're going to get Jason Jackson to tell the story and then it doesn't even make it no I don't think I was in it at all by the way

yeah yeah yeah yeah good luck with the next game yeah an encore listen how about this in honor of bam's number 13 13 dollar tickets to box heat tomorrow night in paradise

where it will be 80 plus degrees and not a low of 36 like a one joy there in man

why why do you do this no no no I just july and I'll get when you're crying wait when you're calling you ever oh maybe that's when I look that's when I sweat the wait goes they get that water the bourbon you get to burn the whole time Dan comes to my amyze if lebertard calls I can't get that man down here at all that is true yeah but but darkness remains your weakness I'll take it out oh yeah hello darkness my old friend it's Jason yeah it's Jay Jackson if you're

asking if you're nasty uh next time you scores 83 I'm gonna have you back on the show okay yeah it's been three years dance oh yeah I wasn't I wasn't counting but I could go back of my phone fritzy hit me in the during the finals in 23 yeah that's you guys to have me on our that's uh let's all say goodbye to Jay Jackson Jackson everybody's waving to you bouillon peace out yeah we're gonna take a break back after this Fox Sports Radio has the best

sports talk lineup in the nation catch all of our shows at Fox Sports Radio dot com and within the i-harts radio app search F-S-R to listen live the defense to player the year on sir out now you

would expect that miles Garrett would be the favorite you would be surprised who is the second

favorite to win the defensive player of the year taught i'll start with you who has the second best odds to be the defensive player the year quarter eight Hendrickson has a lot of right Hendrickson see mm how about miles Garrett he's one oh he's one uh how about max crossby he's two what max crossby is second and then followed by micoparsons aiden Hutchinson and will Anderson Jr. the third that's aggressive didn't they say just fail this physical yeah yeah just fail we don't even

know where we don't know where he's playing next year we don't even know what he's doing yeah pretty crazy

tim and illinois good morning tim what's on your mind today hey Dan first time all in time

five nine one seventy six all what uh you talk a little wbc here we're a baseball classic of course

I want the you you you say to win but uh want to give a shout out to Sam and ...

and sprint fill Illinois who is the short stop for the Italian team and I can't imagine the adrenaline that was going through him he grew up these USA guys his idols as he was growing up but the adrenaline running through him as he circles the bases when he hit a two run home

or in the second ending last night I mean I'm 62 years old I stood in my living room and

cheered for the kid it was just awesome that's great if Italy wins tonight against Mexico Italy in the United States advance if Mexico wins and scores five or more runs Mexico and Team USA advance if Mexico wins and scores four runs or less Mexico and Italy advance thanks for the phone call Tim Tony and Rochester hi Tony hey Dan thank you're taking my call a long time couple time just wanted to mention on them out of by if you look at the average age of the starting line

up that he played against it's it's 20 years old and you know it's kind of a confluence here of

where the NBA is that in terms of hanging and playing too many games and and I think a thing

like this where an all defensive player scores 83 points is kind of bound to happen and if you look at the way those 20 year old guys were playing defense they're not used to playing defense in the NBA yet and they were getting a lot of fouls called against them and well that's a lot of fouls and he shot you know when you're going to the free throw line 43 times but I don't know if we did this with any other scoring performance where we looked at the average age of the team that that player

played against I just it's still 83 points and I I don't want to lose sight of that now we can talk about what happened in the last couple of minutes I have a problem with that but I don't agree that out of respect to Kobe you take bam out of bio out no I mean Kobe may not like is and it's not even a record it's the second highest scoring mark I'm sure that he'd be like hey you know

I would never come out if it was the other way around if if Michael Jordan had 81 and Kobe had a chance

to beat him what would he do he would certainly go out and try to beat him so let's just be

fair to the situation here and I don't know if we are because I think we have a problem with

it's bam out of bio and he did it against the wizards and something was nefarious there in the closing minutes there the number of free throws that he took these not a great scoring I understand all of that he's still scored 83 yeah I saw a few people on Twitter NBA media people not random people that said bam out of bio would have looked awesome if he took himself out with 80 points he would have looked awesome he probably would have today he probably would have been lauded for doing

that but that's not natural to competitors bam out of bio doesn't think he's second to anybody and to expect him or to think that he might take himself out because I wanted to further Kobe Bryant's memory that's not very realistic I don't think Roger Maris didn't nobody said that hey did you think

you should take yourself out so you didn't pass Babe Ruth I don't I don't think so and babe played

in 154 games Roger did it 162 their competitors I don't think you'd get go man I'm competing competing competing now I'm not going to compete now I'm going to take myself out of the game would it have been a cool gesture yes it would have been but I'm not going to put that on him yes

more and also for guy like bam out of bio who's not a score by nature he'll never have this opportunity

ever again he was hotter than fish grease in the first half like you know what his coach his teammates come on let's try to do as much as we can I saw a bam I wrote bios got six two points I was like man what a night for him wait he's in the third quarter I mean he can do it I was reform also yeah Paul I want to go back to what you said I think that's a great comparison the Roger Maris Babe Ruth thing if you watch that movie 61 on HBO that was part of the movie you shouldn't be

passing Babe Ruth it should be it should be right um Mickey Mantle you shouldn't be doing this who are you your new to this team that's a great comparison Lucas in Texas I Luke which on your mind hey Dan good morning good morning two quick things for yet number one first off this is just begging for judge Dan Patrick that hold a sport court ruling but you know I'll all wait for that judgment the second thing related to the bam out of bio situation it kind of reveals me

The psychology of sports fans both good and bad where we just like we've beco...

that say the one that I saw the one that I was invested in the player that I covered or whatever

he has to be the best I think that's part of what goes into the Jordan LeBron stuff the Roger

Maris Babe Ruth because if we were invested in who were actively watching we have we have to say

that one has to be the best because I haven't seen anything better even though historically

there might be a better one I would tell all the Kobe fans calm down his legacy is not in trouble

he is a top five or ten NBA player all time and it's one statistical difference so just

something unique about how sports fans kind of become FedEx yeah and great points there Lucas

yeah we've become territorial because with some people no one could ever surpass Michael Jordan

you'd have people who might not think anybody could surpass Bill Russell Babe Ruth I mean we we kind of climb that mountain and we plant our flag there got to evolve got to be open minded at least dying or receiving she'll join us coming up next after your speaking to Max Crozby.
