All right, I'm making a trouble for this answer, but I think it's like definitely happening in the WWE. Yeah. We talked about on mistakes too. They pulled me to the side and was like, hey man, we got to call last night, and you

can't be rolled around the city like this tonight before games. Check out Game Recognized Game with Stewie and Miles on the I-Hart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. The human body is a beautiful machine, and keeping it running means understanding how it actually works.

Which is why this podcast we kill you is doing a multi-part series on sleep, but it's

four why our bodies don't follow neat rules and why modern life is not helping.

We'll continue exploring how the body works with a multi-part series on digestive function. So listen to our newest series, which runs January 20th through February 17th with new episodes every Tuesday.

From the exact name right, networked listen to this podcast we'll kill you on the I-Hart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. You are listening to the Dan Patrick Show on Fox Sports Radio. Our until-tip off, we got our brackets in. If you're in the bracket challenge, you can follow along Dan Patrick.com.

Quite a guest list here, eclectic, fritzy, of course, doing the honors, cultivating the celebrities, including Chris Manix. I can't call him a celebrity, but we do love Manix. So he snuck in as maybe our final celebrity, question mark. Let's see.

Wait. John Smoltz didn't get his bracket in. "I still have nourished Evelyn. I'm shocked. He loves this time of the year and his Spartans."

Okay. He's probably thinking he has until noon. Mark Cuban was supposed to join us and he was supposed to submit a bracket. "Yes." Okay.

Burn up. Yeah, Pauli.

Would you consider granting an exemption till noon?

I would need to know what the reason is. Smoltz is a regular. Yeah. And Mark Cuban, I think he's been in before, but it's been a while. Yeah, I'm surprised that he was willing to do it, but, you know, I can give a sponsors exemption,

maybe? Yeah. Baby, I don't want to say I'll look the other way, but, you know, if I don't know what's going on, then I'm fine with letting it happen there. But we'll give you our final force coming up.

We also play the disappointment draft as well. That'll be coming up momentarily. Here is the news, Pistons announced, Kate Cunningham will be re-evaluated in two weeks. So he's going to be missing at least the next eight games. He's got a collapsed lung.

Kate Cunningham has to play another five games to make all NBA. And there's 14 games left for Detroit. So it's going to be down to the wire.

Now this is a money thing because he's definitely going to be on, I would think, first team,

all NBA, and he's certainly an MVP candidate as well, and you got to play in the required

65 games.

Marvin is not here today and it might be just a coincidence that he's not here today after

a big mistake. Today on the show, Dylan is in seatless chair, seatless in Marvin's chair, the minister of humor, Fritzi is here and also a poly as well. There's a lot of people who have tweeted, some say, don't be so hard on Marvin. It's not like he was trying to burn down the man cave.

That's the shot at me because I had the accident a couple of weeks ago. And you confirm an immeasurable amount of court that spilled out of the Sammy Sosa ankle. Wow, that's well done. That is, that is great. There was a problem earlier today.

Went back, looked at security footage with a big German. We did, we did locate the moment in question where weeks, my cameraman was actually running some cables and there's some church keys in front of where seatness seated and he knocked over the Sammy Sosa priceless trophy that I'm figuring one of one really. It is.

Yeah, one of one and it's shattered. I'm shocked.

So weeks the cameraman said, do you want me to piece it together?

And I said, yeah, if you can, try to do that, but it's probably in six, six pieces

there. Not to make excuses, but there's so much of that stuff laying all over the place. That's amazing. It doesn't happen more often. Well it might, but nobody likes to tell me when these things happen.

I noticed that something happened and I called, you know, you guys on it and I thought there was a cover up there. I got him a professional. It happens. Weeks does a great job as our cameraman, he made a mistake and he bumped into the Sammy

Sosa statue. Yeah, I see. You're very well on record saying that it's not the, it's the cover up, not the crime. Yes, it is. It's just like Tom Brady, you know, it's not the crime.

It was the cover up there. Yeah. Yeah. This week Sunday night basketball, the wolves and the Celtics, that'll be seven eastern on NBC.

The playoffs are coming to NBC and peacock.

I got a rally here because that was a devastating moment. I don't know if, I mean, it can be fixed, but can it really be fixed in my mind of how it all played out? You guys were complicit. You guys heard it.

You guys heard something shatter and that was more than just Sammy Sosa, that was me and my confidence. Well. Wow. Wow.

That was dramatic. I could tell. Yes, definitely. Is it the broken trust? That's really.

Yes, it is. Yes, it is. But that thing shattered. It really did break. It shattered.

Yeah. Yeah. He has had less at the moment. Yes. He is.

And still not getting into the Hall of Fame. We're going to try to piece his career back together with cork. Stop it, Tom. That's the least of his words with Zav cork. That was just in his bath.

And that was one day using his cork to bat in batting, because most guys do that.

I like how Sammy, I think even saying, I like to put on a show in batting practice.

Sammy, you get 50 home runs, 60 home runs. It's not like man, look at that guy, I almost hit one out. You know, it's not Greg Madaggs taking BP, it's Sammy Souser. Yeah, pulling. Yeah, it happened during a game.

I'm looking back at the play and the excuse. He said he liked to keep a backup bat that was corked just in case for batting practice. Again, to put on a show. That's not a bad excuse in real time though. So we got George Brett in, Todd?

I don't think he said one in, which is a bummer, because he's been the last few years. Well, wait a minute. You just sent me a list that has Brian Kranston on it, Bill Cower. You just said, here's the final list. I have a list that lists everyone we invited.

And if you're looking at the why don't care about who we invited, I want to know who's got a nice color coordinated legend, which they've green means that they are doing it

and blue means they actually submitted what they said they've never done.

Okay, nevermind. Black means. Todd, you're making it worse. I just want to know. I didn't mean to copy that.

I thought it was a nice, neat organized list of who we invited and who we, who don't. No, it's not. I don't need to know who you invited. I need to know who's involved. Okay.

There's a separate email I sent that has just the ones that are in a lovely purple. Maybe I got a rally, I have to rally. I shame the ones that read or the ones that said they would do it, but they didn't send it in time. God.

Yeah, I've seen it.

Not the nitpick.

But the color coordinated response, mine says it's awaiting response is purple, but I

see all black in there. Yeah. Hmm. Thank you, Todd. Yeah.

Hmm.

I see his point there to say, so awaiting response should be in black or all those

names that didn't respond should be in purple, one of the other. But I do it. It says awaiting response purple. Okay. And then once we invited black, those are the ones that are re-arrating response.

That's just close as you've come to admitting to doing something wrong in the 20 some years ago. That's just an honest statement. You know how like people will do like, hey, if you sign up, you can get secret access for this stuff, like the president just had like, hey, if you join the, you know, secret

society or whatever, you can get all of my intelligence briefings, if you just don't eat $10 a month or whatever, what if we start a club here where you can donate $10 a month and you'll get copied on Todd's emails? How much do I pay to not get copied?

Oh, yeah, that's how I got a big wallet here.

If we can hit a certain threshold, then we'll be removed off of Todd's emails.

But I feel like people would love to see the stuff that we sort of obsess over.

Let me talk to the big German about legally doing that. We can set something up. We really could get copied on Todd's emails. Not to mention when I send you guys emails and you're all in the room right next to me, I send an email instead of just verbalizing what I want to say.

This in Texas joins this high crisp, what's on your mind? And listen, the absence of Marv is showing one really important thing. I think that the, the depth chart of the dance is really being exposed here primarily led by, by, you know, by Dylan here. So I'm sorry about that.

I also was wondering, following up the yesterday is Dylan cooking Indian food for meat Friday. Is that the reason the trigger is parting waste? No, no. That was just a coincidence there.

Yeah. Okay. Yeah. But thank you. Thank you, Chris.

No.

We had a 10 year run with trigger, but this is business and we move on.

So we were very proud to be part, you know, be affiliated. Yeah, see. I'm not going to allow that Dylan slender, by the way, in depth chart, dudes doing the show here. He's got something brining in the back of there's alarms going off for him to go check something

and he's doing well. Oh, boy. I got it. Here we go. Just heard from the eyes and ears of the show, Mario.

We have footage of my cameraman breaking semi, so-so. So if you're watching on peacock and nice angle of weeks from behind, it's trying to help seat and, that's again, the sound. Oh, dear. Oh, dear.

That was tough. Okay. See, and immediately is right there to witness it. Dylan, boy, there's some people who are culpable here. See, see, you were there in a matter of, like, five seconds.

Yeah, just being helpful. Oh, what? All of a sudden being helpful is a crime around here. Hey, let me help weeks out. He just really stepped on a landmine.

I better go help him out. You could have explained or told me who was responsible for this. See, and crime 101, your prints are all over that thing. You gotta get out of there. Don't I get any sort of, you know, like leeway for admitting that, like, well, I was kind

of there. He was helping my thing. I did sort of throw myself on that grenade, too. No, you could have just said, look, weeks did it, you know? Do we do a chalk-out line of semi-souls on the ground there?

You have to figure out if, if, if, adding on weeks was the right thing to do or not, adding on weeks is the right thing to do. I think, to explain-- It's a sliding scale for some of us. For me, I was supposed to rad on for everybody else who saw it happen.

It's like, hey, good for you for keeping your mouth shut.

I think there's certain things that you need to rad on somebody in here, and certain things

where you just explain, maybe, if asked, you don't volunteer, but if asked, you say, like, I think I saw something, I think I heard something. Well, if I was directly asked, do we need a poster, see something say something? Dan, you're sounding a lot like the district attorney right now. I would say this.

If an incident happens as serious as this, I put the DA in Dan. Well, sorry. As serious as this, I think you give the offender a decent amount of time that day to admit it themselves and throw themselves on the grenade. I would give them a couple hours.

Throw themselves on Sosa. Yeah. Yeah. Well, you know, these are, these are teaching, teaching moment.

One shining moment.

Yes, doing.

I think your lawyer would tell you not to admit to anything ever.

I'm going to go with their advice.

Thank you, Jill. You're welcome. Todd rubbing off on you being in the back row there. It's a proximity thing. David and Phoenix joining us.

Hi, David. What's on your mind today? Hey, Dan, in regards to Sammy being broken, you're looking at this the wrong way. You could assign Kentucky to weeks to repair Sammy. That is the traditional Japanese technique where usually it's broken pottery, but in this

case, it would be a figurine where they mix lacquer with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. Instead of hiding the cracks, it highlights them to show the real beauty of this. Okay. Thank you, David. You're welcome.

All right. Scott and Arizona. I Scott. What's on your mind today? Hey, Dan, you guys are talking about the NBA, one-on-one championship, and I believe

the winner of that was Bob the Big Cat Lanier.

Oh. Okay. Yeah. For some reason, I thought it was Mike Newlin out of the Houston rockets. Yeah, Paul.

You're both right. Open over two years in the early 70s, the NBA had a one-on-one contest, and it would be played during wild-world sports and places like this on Saturdays and Sundays during half time. So it was taped.

I think Bob Mackadoo wanted Bob Lanier and then the guy you mentioned. Mike Newlin. Yeah. You wouldn't think Mike Newlin would be the best one-on-one player in that tournament. Andrew in Pittsburgh.

Andrew? What's on your mind? Yeah, hi Dan, I have a pretty wavy poll question for you guys, hoping you can entertain it. My wife and I are having trouble naming our son who gets here in May and we're down to

final two names. And we are at peace with calling in and leaving it to a majority vote amongst you in the Dan.

That's what we're going to go with whatever is decided.

What's your last name, Andrew? Bondi, B.O.N.DI. Okay. It's a rough year to have, and that is your last name. I know, relation.

Think about a bigger change. I'm changing my name. Drop the eye. Drop the eye. Yeah.

Just Bond. Okay. So the two names are Roman James and Calvin James. Calvin would go by cow. Or CJ.

Hopefully not. Yeah. You have no choice over that. Kids will give him a nickname. Okay.

I'm finding, Andrew. Is that what you say?

You'll be able to send me the first certificate.

Yes. In fact, I will be able to see you guys as the drafts as well. Oh, good. It'll be close with the arrival. Don't think he'll be here quite yet.

But I'll hold up a big sign that says either Roman or Calvin. Thanks you. Okay. Todd Roman or Calvin Bondi. Roman.

Dylan. Cal. Seaton. And it was Roman James, Bondi and or Calvin James. Calvin James.

Oh boy. I'm going to say Calvin. Two cows, one row. Paul. Quick question.

Are you guys Italian? I am. Yes. Roman Bondi. And that means two Romans, two Calvins.

Find out after the break. Oh. Oh. Are you kidding me? How do you do it right now?

Everybody's a legend and the old Jenny's different to this. This woman's history month. The podcast if you knew better with Amber Grimes. Spotlights women who turn missteps into momentum and lessons into power.

I think coming out of where I came from.

From the Bronx. I think I grew up really poor. I didn't know that then because I very much used my creativity to romanticize life. And I'm like my mom did a really good job of like. You step back and you're like, whoa, we, I don't know how we made it.

So a lot of my life was like built out of like survival to get to the next place.

My drive, my like tunnel vision of like I got to be better.

I got to achieve this was off the strength of like I want to make a better life for us.

If you knew better brings real talk from women who've lived it.

Unpacking career pivots. Relationship lessons and the mind set shifts that changed everything. Listen to if you knew better with Amber Grimes on the I-Hart Radio app. Apple podcast or wherever you get your podcast. Usually on this podcast we'll kill you.

We talk about the diseases, infections, and biological threats that can make us really sick. But right now we're doing something a little different. We're stepping back and looking at what the human body needs to keep going. When you consider what we know about sleep in humans, there's one rule that comes out. We are predictably unpredictable sleepers.

We're talking about why sleep works the way it does. Why our bodies don't follow neat rules and why modern life makes rest so hard to come by. The second half of our series takes us to the digestive system with a multi-part series on what happens after we eat. Okay, I just have to say that all of my favorite words apparently are digestive. Yeah, it's sphincter, parents do a lot of things.

It's fascinating, it's funny and it matters so much more than you think. Here, the Nick Dickham poll show, we're not afraid to make mistakes.

What Google did that I think was so unique, he's the right director.

Who do you think he is? I don't know. You need to like the president? You think he's the president, can't it have the president? You think China is a president, let's walk through that. God, I love that thing.

I use it all the time. What color should I put in a blanket and sing to it like? It's like the old Polish saying, not my monkey is not my circus. It's a good one. It's an actual Polish saying. It is an actual Polish saying.

Better version of play stupid games when stupid prizes.

Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift who said that for the first time.

I actually thought it was. I got that wrong. Listen to the Nick Dick and poll show on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I went and sat on the little ottoman in front of him. I was like, hi dad. And just when I said that, my mom comes out of the kitchen. She says, I haven't cookies in milk.

This is bad ass convict. Great. Just finish by. I don't have cookies in milk at all. Yeah. On the scene of show podcast, each episode invites you into a raw unfiltered conversations

And it's going to be a boy. And we could choose between Calvin James and Roman. And we had two of the Danets went with Roman, two went with Calvin. And that left it up to me for the tiebreaker.

Andrew, how tense is it at the household with you and your wife?

Honestly, Dan, like I said, we're at peace. I'm good either way. I'm just excited for the decision here. Grand reveal. All right. Your son will be known as Roman.

Thank you. Thank you very much, guys. Dan, can I ask you an answer where you guys will be for the draft yet in Pittsburgh? I don't have the official location. But I'm going to talk to the big German and I'll let you know Andrew.

We look forward to seeing you there.

But we've got a great space.

I don't know if we finalized everything. But thank you, Andrew. More importantly, good luck to you and your wife with a little Roman. And we look forward to seeing you at the draft. Thank you.

All right. Yeah, we have a location there. I don't know how many people can come in and watch. But we're working on that right now. Big German has gone out to Pittsburgh a couple of times. And I think we found a beautiful place.

And we look forward to going to Pittsburgh for the draft. We'll be there for three shows. So to be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Up draft week. Yes, John.

Instead of a crib, do they build a mini Colosseum Roman?

You'll be kind of cute. Roman Colosseum. That's where you put it instead of a bass and that. Thank you, John. How'd you find it?

Do they have a bass and ed or a play pin that's called a Colosseum? Or maybe they make it like a Colosseum? I'll be a cute thing today. All right. Thank you, John. All right. It's time for the disappointment draft.

All right.

This is the first annual disappointment draft.

So Dylan, who's part of the gambling podcast, a fresh addition up at dampatric.com with Shane Irving and Bad Larry. All right, Dylan, explain the disappointment draft. So basically, we're going to take all of the top five to eight. By the way, by the way, social media is all over this semi-sosa accident in

quotation marks because a semi-sosa figurine that I've had for decades fell off a seat in his desk. And some say, Sammy might have jumped. Others, you know, weeks my camera man who does a great job. He accidentally knocked the semi-sosa figurine off

and shattered. But social media is coming to his defense. Yes, buddy, Jeff in Saskatoon. He has stated that Mr. Weeks was simply waiting until the show was over to confess. He cares that much about the vibe of the show.

He didn't want to undermine the standard. The defense rests. Okay. When Sammy Sosa went from a one of one figurine to many pieces of one, the camera man Weeks was honoring Sosa by later acknowledging

that he, quote, made mistakes like Sammy did in 2024. What have to think that your camera man Weeks knew nothing about the semi-crage given his head was buried deep under the desk at the time. Seaton has to own this one. That's from Dennis to man.

It was a loud crash. The semi-sosa figurine. Mr. Weeks was waiting until after the show to confess because he cares more about the vibe of the show. The defense rests.

Thank you. Social media is all over this. Who would have thought Sammy Sosa figurine? It's all about content. All righty, yes, Seaton.

See, this is already starting to like a perception as reality kind of thing. Could you imagine if Fritzie saw the figurine break instead of

sitting in the fallout would be brutal and the show would be hilarious?

Lots of people saw it, break. I was just the one person that got up to try to help. Hmm. So you guys saw this? There's many other people milling about in that video.

I'm just the one that was like, "Oh, let me go help Weeks out." Hmm. Did you got, and be honest, did you guys think that I would not notice the semi-sosa figurine had shattered on the floor?

Paul? I know you had noticed everything. I saw football turned this morning, and I went to turn it back, and then I thought better of it. Yeah.

And I didn't touch it. Yeah, Seaton. You know what? I'll admit something. Okay. Do you want me to do this?

I don't know what you're going to admit.

Okay, hold on one second.

Oh, this. This is the 2019 MVP AUAA-3 on three league trophy.

You know, then I believe was given an Andrew Pearl off.

Yeah. A few weeks ago, I'd knocked this off, the thing, and it shattered, and I had Jay in the back, glue it back together. And he did such a good job that I was like, "Oh, it's no big deal. I'll just put it back there."

What'd I do? No. I saved you the despair. And look, you can't tell. Look, it's back together.

No big deal. And plus it was for McLevin. Yeah, it's Andrew, and I don't care. Yeah, who cares about it? Is there anything else that you guys would like to mention?

Now's the time. Now, clean sweep. All right. I move forward with everything, but if I find out after the fact, then we'll have issues.

Yes, still man. I mean, I do have something to admit. I was sitting right here, and I had no idea that that thing broke, or that anything was going on over there. Which might be more of a different indictment.

No, but I had no clue. Tom. I may have taken a couple of packs of dude wipes that were meant for the studio,

I may have taken it for a home use.

Okay. That's okay. Which is kind of like, no. Now, once I'm in the activity alone. You got, this is a, you know, one time, one time clean, clean sleeping.

Well, I wolfed down a piece of soda bread before we went to the food last week. Well, a quarter of soda bread. That sounds so good. That is a massive violation. And I'm pretty sure it was on camera.

Yeah, why does the host get to eat first anywhere?

Everything is on camera. Everything is on camera. Dylan, you got anything else? Well, a few months ago, I broke one year golf training sticks, but I taped it.

I noticed that you taped it. You did. Yes. I did exactly what they said was going to happen. The tape part of it gave it away.

It broke something. Yeah, I whacked it. By accident. Yes. A bunch of years ago, when we had our first few filling hosts for you,

someone moved some stuff on your desk, and it was a red alert around here. And see, I was scrambling to get your desk back together. We actually took aerial photos of your desk just in case that incident like that happens again. Terry and Seattle, I Terry. What's on your mind?

Listener, with regard to the families incidents,

I think that there's some culpability with whoever placed

family on the desk in the first place. It wasn't securely attached to the desk. And also, you could bring in Al Pacino and have him re-enact. He has seen from a cent of a woman and has him do a defense for the family incident. All right.

Let me see if Al Pacino can join us. Wow, let me tell you something, every inch is a foot, every foot to yard. We're going to fight for every one of those inches, because that's the difference between women and loser. Now I can't do it for you.

Now get out there and let's get that inch. Wow. Thank you, Terry. Thank you, Terry. Is that the right movie?

No, I was definitely not. That was four different movies. Okay, it's time for the official point. I think that was how you've given some there. No, of course, it's the one you do.

Any given story? Look, but don't touch. But don't touch. That's the one. That's the devil.

That was sent to a woman. No, look, but don't touch touch. But don't touch the devil inside. Devil inside. Devil inside.

Devil inside. Devil inside. Devil inside. But don't touch touch. But don't touch.

But don't swallow. And he's up there. I can't quit this show. I can't quit this show. Is that an announcement?

No.

For the next two years, I can't quit this show.

All right, Dylan, the disappointment draft. No, let's explain the disappointment draft.

All right, so basically, Dan, how it works is we're going to be taking

picking teams that we do not think will be advancing. So one through four seeds, it's going to be more akin to golf scoring. So if you take a one seed, you'll start with minus four points. Two seed minus three points. So the more aggressive view are the more points in there for total points with.

Correct, and you want to be lower. So more in the negative or closer to zero is better. And for each, like if that team advances, you get a point at it on. Okay. So we should start with the biggest loser.

Todd, you go first. What? Wait, Paul. What do mean loser, like sports loser? Because I would throw my name in the right.

No, you're so loser. Okay, now I'm not a loser. Okay, if you talk to Al Pacino like that. All right. So Todd, who's your pick?

Now, this is the disappointment draft. They're going to disappoint. Yes.

I'm going to go a little less brave with my first pick and say the zags.

I'm going to bow out quickly.

I know by going with a three or four seed to get less credit for that.

Just pick the team. Zags. We'll disappoint you. Dylan. Since I'm kind of picking from Marvin here and I know he would be upset by this.

I'm going to take Yukon. Wow. Marvin on here today suspended. I mean, out for a day. Seaton.

Errol Todd. Roll. Todd. No, that's an easy one. Yeah.

There are four seed. Paul. The Florida Gators. One seed. Oh, oneer.

Based off. Almost nothing. All right. All right. I'm going to, uh, I'm going to knock out a number two.

I'm going to knock out a number two seed. Purdue. Purdue wipes. Oh. See what I did with that.

Purdue wipes. Okay. All right. Yeah. Produce veteran laden down.

Oh, I know. Uh, and then I'm going to come back around and go. Illinois as a three seed. Nice. Uh, Paul.

He to do it.

Michigan State as a three seed.

Whoa. John Smoltz would be disappointed. See. Duke Blue Devils. That's right.

Whoa. That's right. Yeah. Dylan. I'm sorry, damn.

But I got to go Arizona. The namesake originally. I can't. My pick to win it all. Todd, you got two picks.

I'm going to go with the Iowa State Cyclones.

And I'm going to go with the Virginia Cavaliers. All right. Dylan.

Since they've never won a tournament game, then,

I'm going to go Nebraska. Oh, we love Nebraska. No, no, no. We're huge in Lincoln. Seaton.

Uh, Kansas jail. You probably thought I was going to take kids. It's didn't. Yeah. I wanted to swoop in there.

Yep. You did Paul. Is Virginia on the board? No. Yes.

I got Houston. All right. So it's either Michigan or Arkansas shouldn't be a four. I'll go Michigan just for the potential points there. So Arkansas is the only team that didn't get selected in the disappointment draft.

Yes, Paul.

We're going to watch the games way different.

I know. I know. Oh, man. Does that mean Arkansas bows out round one? I hope not.

Nobody picked them though. When we come back, we'll give you our final four picks. A couple more phone calls. Uh, Rhonda in Texas. Good morning, Rhonda.

What's on your mind? Good morning, Dan. And the banette.

I'm always going to start my conversation with us.

So here goes six foot tall, one, six feet. On the model. Present day retired golf player. My husband and I play golf two or three times a week. We love your show.

I just want to share with you. We were sorry to hear about family toast as accident. And I just got off of eBay. And I found the replica that looks very similar to the one that was shattered. And I'm gifting that to you.

So it's on it to fight to you. Love your show. Thank you. Appreciate y'all. Thank you.

That's so sweet. That's very nice of Rhonda. Maybe we find something and we can send it to her. She's a former model. Yes, son.

And usually it's helped me run. But she's helping you, Rhonda. Adam and New Jersey. Hi, Adam. What's on your mind?

What? Are you so there? Yeah. Okay. I heard a big.

Six one, two, fifteen. Long time no. Long time second time. Obviously, obviously, your employees do not listen to Kathleen Madigan. Kathleen Madigan's father's told her.

If you ever earn a situation where you're a question, I do not recall. And I want an attorney. She claims she used it in the confessional. Okay. But we have no court here.

It's just the court of public opinion. It doesn't matter if you're being questioned. I have no recollection. I want an attorney. All right.

Thank you, Adam. Greg and Kalamazoo. I great. What's on your mind? I just want to comment on Matt Leonard's situation.

I think, you know, what they could really do because I agree with Paulie.

They're going to run on a numbers if they keep retiring stuff that keeps going. I think they should not retire the jersey, but honor it. Displayed this as they have, but put Leonard's name on it. Because I think Matt might find out if he goes to a SC game now about 90% of the people aren't going to know who number 11 is.

All right. Thank you, Greg. Trip and Vegas before we take a break. Hi, Trip. Hey, good morning, Dan.

Good to speak with y'all. I wanted to talk about the USC jersey too because I thought it was ironic with Reggie Bush that when they took his highs in a way. They wouldn't let anybody use his jersey out of respect for his performance. But then, this is a possible stat of the day.

He gave him, hit when he re-retired his jersey.

He's the first player and NCAA history to have his jersey retired twice.

There's been five teams that retired a jersey for two players and then re-team re-team that retired a number for three players. Well, thank you, Trip. All right. When we come back, we will unveil our final four last call for phone calls.

What we learned? What's in store tomorrow? Right up to this.

Here, the Nick Dickham poll show, we're not afraid to make mistakes. What Google did, that I think was so unique. He's the right director. Who do you think he is? I don't know.

You need to like the president. You think it goes to president. Canada has a president. You think China has a president? Let's walk through that.

God, I love that thing. I use it all the time.

Look, I wrap it in a blanket and sing to it, like.

It's like the old Polish saying, not my monkey is not my circus. Yep. It's a good one. I like that saying. It's an actual Polish saying.

Yeah. It is an actual Polish saying. Yeah. Better version of play stupid games when stupid prizes. Yes.

Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift who said that for the first time.

I actually thought it was. I got that wrong. Listen to the Nick Dick and poll show on the iHeart Radio app, apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Usually on this podcast we'll kill you. We talk about the diseases, infections, and biological threats that can make us really sick.

But right now, we're doing something a little different.

What we learn. What's in store tomorrow? Dylan did a great job filling in for Marvin. Just a coincidence. He had a bad day yesterday and he's not here today.

Seaton in Marvin's chair. Paulie Fritzie. You're truly in the back room guys.

We'll give you our final four picks.

Final results of the poll questions. If you can. Yeah, we got up there. Two of them right now.

This year's NTA tournament will be mostly chalk or not chalk.

Well, that's at 85% chalk. And then the single best day in sports. March man this day won Super Bowl Sunday. Sunday at the masters or the New Year's Day bowl games. I'm sorry to say Paul that New Year's Day bowl games are in last place.

It's only got 8% of the vote. That's a travesty. March madness day one has about half of the vote. Okay.

Followed by Sunday at the master's Super Bowl Sundays and third place there.

Yeah. How about that? Yeah. Yeah. All right.

John and Illinois. Good morning. John, what's on your mind? I gotta tell you. I got some questions here.

This camera man is working for Seaton on this. If Seaton is simply at that location because Marvin's down. Did that make this Marvin's phone? Okay. And this is man.

Further.

It's Marvin's not there because you bitched him.

This is partly here. Yep. Yep. Yep. You might be right.

That's the guy who gets it right there.

Yeah. That is the guy who gets it. Yeah. I see what he's doing connecting the dots. But I have to blame Matt Leinert because Matt Leinert's the one who dropped the F-bomb.

And Marvin didn't bleep it out. Therefore Matt Leinert, if he doesn't use the F-bomb, Marvin doesn't get suspended. And then Seaton's not in Marvin's chair. Yeah. Matt Leinert.

Damn Matt Leinert. Final four picks, toddler. You had yours filled out yesterday. My final four picks are Duke Houston on the left side of the bracket. Purdue and Michigan on the right side with Duke beating Michigan in the championship game.

All right. And I've got the Johnny's, St. John's Illinois Purdue and Michigan with Purdue over St. John's. Wow. Seaton, Final Four. One of my favorite things about this, by the way, is doing mine one day and then waking up and looking after them again and being like, "What the hell did I do that for?"

Anywho, that was my experience this morning. My final four is Yukon Houston, Iowa State Miami, and I have Yukon beating Miami in the funnel. Wow. That's right. You sure you didn't wake up today and say, "What the hell am I doing with these picks?"

Yeah, no, that's what I did do yesterday.

I did them and then today I woke up and I was like, "Why the hell did I do that?" But you stayed with your yesterday's picks today. Yeah, I'm not going to change it. Okay. Pauli Final Four picks, Duke, Houston, Gonzaga, Michigan, Duke over Gonzaga in the title game.

All right. I have Yukon, Florida, Arizona, Michigan, Arizona over Florida to win it all. Yeah. Bracket Challenge, you can follow along at dampatric.com. Nick, in the Ozarks, I Nick, what's on your mind today?

Well, Dan, I think an exciting sport moment would be the last day. The idea, Rod, watching all the muckers come over the finish line, especially if there was another moose killing incident where a dog was suspended. All right. Well, of course, Nick, thank you. Didn't make the poll question, yes, Pauli?

They do call it mush madness, though. They do. I did not make that up. Oh, okay. I was going to give you credit there. They've been calling it mush madness up and no.

My people and no, I'm told me that. You were huge and no. Okay. Yes, Dylan. I've been dying to go to the idea, Rod. Is that something we literally literally dying?

Well, you could go there and die. That might happen, actually. It's rough sledding out there as they say. No. Doggy Dog World.

But just a possible remote idea, Dan, if you're interested in it. I'll go in. There's no chance of that. No. No.

No chance. I'm sorry. I like the Todd repeats your line. So maybe you get some spill over credit. No, I'd spill off.

I'm acknowledging that was funny. How about-- Why do you got to make any of my-- You do hijack, though. You do.

This has been a very funny day. This is last per hour. Might be a top five show. And I track that. This day in sports history, Paul.

1995. Michael Jordan returned to the bulls after nearly two years of retirement. He scored 19 in a loss to the Pacers. However, the game on NBC was the most watched regular season game in NBA history

with over 35 million viewers.

In wearing number 45. Was somebody wearing 23 at the time? It had something to do with his baseball number. Oh, that's right.

He wore, yeah, 45 baseball.

OK.

On this day, 1960, Ohio State won the National Title Jerry Lucas named the most outstanding player.

Also on this day, 1955, Bill Russell named the most outstanding player San Francisco beat LaSão. And Bill Russell and those San Francisco-- the Dons. It's what they're called, The Dons. In Ohio State, so Bob Knight, Jerry Lucas.

I think they had Larry Siegfried on that team.

Was Bill Huskett on that team. We went to the NYX 1960, yes, Paul. Jerry Lucas, Larry Siegfried. John have a check. Mel Null.

Yep. And then Bob Knight and a bunch of other players. OK, so Bill or Bill Huskett was not on that team. No, I don't have one there. OK.

Yeah, I remember him at Ohio State. Yeah. Howlcheck wasn't the best player on Ohio State. Jerry Lucas was the first team all America. Yeah, and Larry Siegfried, I think, was considered their second best player.

Here's howlcheck who would end up scoring almost 27,000 points.

One eight titles never lost in the NBA finals.

Let's see, anything else? Jim and Indiana. Hey, Jim, what's on your mind today? Hey, Dan. You're really disappointed in you.

I think you're the Roger Cadello, and I fell football.

These arbitrarily handing out punishment to nine punishments. Really got my goat. Todd Fred says that you like to prema Donna Wiedery Steaver. They got nothing for the Ross Tucker. I think it's a good idea.

Today, Sammy Salsa, it was the, the cameraman who's the premier offensive lineman protecting your show. And then we have poor Marvin. He's the practice squad. Uh, tight in.

And you can't get him a suspension. And no, it's a coincidence that he's not. Jim. Thank you. I'm not here today.

Just a coincidence. And I do have the commissioners exemplist in this show. Todd, what did you learn today? Learned a lot. But I'm going to go with that.

Kate cutting him is a collapsed lung. Could make him ineligible for a lead MVP if unable to play in required number of games. Are you eating food? I'm not. That's just a.

The chewing on my tongue. That's your mouth. You were eating food. I was not. That was like 10 minutes ago.

I had a granola bar.

I think it stuck in my salary of glands or something.

What? Do you learn a dot of an Mitchell Devin Booker and Luke are among those traits and make ready things could get to BAM's 83 points? Thanks for joining us. Enjoy the hoops.
