This isn't eye-harp podcast.

Guaranteed human. Ready for a different take on Formula One, look no further than no grip, a new podcast tackling the culture of motor racing's most coveted series. Join me, Lily Herman, as we dive into the under-export pockets of F1, including the astrology of the current grid, the story of the sports most consequential driver strike, and

plenty of other mishab scandals and sagas that have made Formula One a delightful, decadent, dumpster fire, for more than 75 years. Hey, I'm Jay Shetty, host of the on-purpose podcast. I'm joined by Luke Combs, award-winning country music artist, and one of the most authentic voices in music today.

The guy that says he's always going to be there and that will do anything to be there

is the only guy that's not there. No matter what, I'm going to prioritize my wife and my children. I dread the conversation with my son. Listen to on-purpose with Jay Shetty on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast "Doubt," the case of Lucy Lepby, we unpack the story of an unimaginable tragedy that gripped the UK in 2023, but what if we didn't get the whole story?

What if the truth was disguised by a story we chose to believe on my dad, I think, she

might be innocent? Listen to doubt, the case of Lucy Lepby, on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is Special Agent Regal, Special Agent Bradley Hall.

In 2018, the FBI took down a ring of spies, working for China's Ministry of State Security,

one of the most mysterious intelligence agencies in the world. The sixth bureau podcast is a story of the inner workings of the MSS, and how one man's ambition and mistakes opened its vault of secrets. Listen to the sixth bureau on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

You are listening to the Dan Patrick Shawan Fox Sports Radio. Final hour in this Wednesday, when that flew by quickly, gangs all here, fritzy seat more polyures truly, and of course, the backroom guys as well. 877-3DP-Show email address dpadampatric.com, Twitter handle a D.P. show, good morning. If you're watching the program, be careful if you're watching with children because

apparently Marvin has been known to flip people off, he gave a double bird yesterday, and we're still feeling those repercussions. Yes, Martin? I've learned from my mistakes. It won't happen again.

Or, or Mario says something to me that just, you're guaranteeing that you will not flip off this audience again. I'm going to try my hardest guys. But as you said, all of those people who have been mean to me about my small hands, and

don't you think it's ironic that I flipped them off with my small hands?

I go, no, I don't think it's ironic at all. I think it's wrong. It's a full circle money. Yes, you can't. It's not the circle of life.

Just don't do that again. Flip people off, Scotty Sheffler, Rory Maccoroy, the PGA tours elite take on Bay Hill. It's the Arnold Palmer Invitation, presented by MasterCard, Saturday in Sunday, 230 Eastern on NBC, and Peacock, coming up will play the reclamation game, which quarterback, who is going to be this year's Sam Darnold?

We'll have that. We'll actually have a draft. Is that what you want to do that? We'll do a snake draft? Yeah, quick, two rounds, snake draft.

OK. All right. The 8773DP show operator Tyler sitting by. He'll take your phone calls.

Our Kyler Murray poll questions today kind of dominated the first two hours.

What are we going to go with the final hour of the program, Seaton? Well, I have a few other options here from topics we haven't really got to. One off of Todd's topic of a more legit TGL or LIV. Oh, wow. Well, I would say live his more legitimate than TGL.

Is it though? Yeah, because now they're playing four rounds. I don't know if they're doing the music anymore. I do our shorts. Yeah, I don't know.

I think they can still wear shorts, but I played at a country club where you have to wear

long pants every single time you play. No matter what the temperature is, it'd be 95 and you got to wear long pants. I don't play it very often. In fact, I get invited, but I don't want to play because golf's hard enough. I don't want to be out there 95 degree weather with my long pants on.

I need to show these legs, you know, that's going to be a distraction to the people that I'm playing with. They focus on that instead of their golf game. Yes, Todd. To a certain extent, it's already a snooty sport.

You've got to add. You've got to wear pants even if it's 100 degrees on top of that.

We get it.

You're better than everyone else.

Also, when you go into the grill area, have to take off your hat, you have to have

you sure tail tucked in.

Now there are golf courses in America, where you can basically not wear anything.

And it's it's all men's club and they don't care what you wear and don't wear. And although I don't think I want to play golf where I'm not wearing anything. Yeah. Yes. But the kiss of death, if you ever go to a golf course and see someone walking out with

jeans on, that may be worse than anything. You cannot wear jeans while golfing. No, you can't. You cannot. No.

No. But I've seen it before. Got offs. Yeah. Certain golf courses.

But, yeah. They bail, invitational. The Arnold Palmer is coming up this weekend on NBC and peacock. Which is where you can find this program, download the app if you haven't done so. The poll question for the final hour, see it and you tell me and I forgot.

Well, you kind of put the live versus TGL up and put that up there and it's just to see. We also had another topic this morning that we haven't really gotten around to. But it was controversial. The donut should be a breakfast food or dessert. It's breakfast.

Why? You just get something quick. You start your morning. You'd be a little energy and you're on your way. It could not just be sort of universally loved throughout the day.

Why is that? Why is the donut a breakfast food? It's more desserty than anything else you could think of. Well, you don't have dessert at lunch. And if you're going to have dessert dessert at dinner, it's not going to be a donut.

Make dessert lunch again? Is that what? I would say your donut is your breakfast. It's just something quick. You don't have to have somebody whip up eggs and bacon.

It's just like, I grab a donut and get one, Todd. I don't know. It should not be breakfast. I understand, you know, you grab it and you think of dunk in or whatever and you get your coffee, whatever.

But if a donut was shaped like a piece of chocolate cake, none of us would consider it out. What do you have in breakfast cake? So you're saying the shape of the donut is the reason why we don't embrace it as this.

I think a lot of people see it donut and we're so used to being like a type of maybe a

breakfast thing. But if the donut was shaped more like a dessert or it's made out of the same kind of ingredients as desserts. So it's kind of insane because it's shaped like a circle with a whole missing. All of a sudden, it's a breakfast, but if it was shaped like a cake, it'd be like,

what do you can cake for breakfast for, even if it was made out of his same exact ingredients, but not shaped like a circle. Slow down, take a look at this. Arguably, the best rant I've ever had on this show. Full support.

Take a breath. Take yes, Paul. A couple of things. If we were putting a donut in a lane, are they a breakfast item or a treat? I would say they're a breakfast item.

I look back at the history of donuts, which I always have on my screen at the ready.

It was more of a daytime treat to have with coffee and tea than a breakfast item. Back when it was originated. Yeah, but you're having coffee and tea in the morning and that could be breakfast. Early donuts were an all day treat. I'm not a donut or like I'm not big on.

We had donuts brought in yesterday and like, you know, yes, don't think you're going to the right donut. I feel like if there's a crispy cream, there are some donut shops that are like, they are to take that real seriously. More is donuts and Apple food or donuts is like 50 different types of donuts in some

of these places. I remember when crispy cream opened up a store and people went crazy and I went, what are you doing? There are lines like miles long waiting to get into crispy cream to get a box of donuts. I know.

Crazy.

You know what sign they didn't say next to crispy cream?

Come join us for breakfast and have some donuts. Pretty sure that don't say we're hoping six to ten a.m. for breakfast. Here's the donuts. It's just crispy cream donuts. I got it.

You fired up today, man. With your donuts. Yeah, I'm not big on, but if I'm going to grab all I have half a one, but then it drives Pauli crazy because if I cut it in half, then it'll be like, just take the whole thing. Take it with you.

I don't want the whole thing, then I'll eat the whole thing. Any other questions, any other poll questions, any other thoughts before we get, oh, I mentioned this yesterday. I come in and I say to Pauli, I said, hey, I don't know if you know Charles Barkley's got an interesting job during March madness.

So I don't tell Paul, go through the entire show and Paul sends me an email and he goes, hey, by the way, Charles Barkley's going to be working with Dick by town.

He's going to be doing one of the first four games on true TV.

And I got, damn it, I was going to tell you that he was going to do this with Dicky V and Brian Anderson. Yeah. So Charles is going to do a game with Dicky V. And that'll be great. It'll be awesome, baby.

True TV. That'll be that opening Tuesday of the NCAA.

Turn it off.

Yes, tell.

Which is interesting because Dick, my tell always says everything is awesome, and Barkley always

says everything is terrible, according to Frank Gallion, those impression. So you got awesome and terrible, the dichotomy is passing there. All right. So Charles got a fun gig there. That'd be interesting here and do a game.

And let me see, is there anything else that needs to be mentioned?

And we'll play the reclamation project game. So the idea is to choose the quarterback who will have the most success with the team that didn't draft him heading into next season. OK. So that's a player who has already improved, but can still have more of an upward trajectory.

Now, Daniel Jones said to be a free agent or well-ish. But I think he-- I'm not going to put him in the game. OK. Malik Willis, I'll put him in the game. Kyler Murray and Tua, they'll be in the game.

So Kyler Murray, Malik Willis, see, Matt Jones is available. But he could be-- it could be. We'll put him in. Tua Anthony Richardson, Davis Mills, Spencer Rattler, Tanner McKee, who was in Bad News Bayers, I think.

No. No, he wasn't. Sounds like-- Not the same town. Ah, Joe Milton.

I know he's taken him. See, Joe Milton. I'm literally looking at Joe Milton right now to see where is he going to fall in this.

Because I am taking him first.

OK. All right. That's my guy. How about we use arm length? That'll be who goes first here.

Yes, Paul.

His Aaron Rogers available in this draft.

Is he a free agent? Yes, I think. I think he would be in this draft. OK. All right.

See, reclamation project worthy, though. I mean, yeah, I don't know if I'm going to-- I'm going to rule no. I'm going to say no that he is not a reclamation project. These other ones are.

He's a squeeze one more year out of them. Yeah, that's all. That's just a farewell tour. Kyle Murray, Malik Willis, Mach Jones, two Anthony Richardson, Davis, Mill, Spencer, Ratler, Tanner McKee.

And he's the Eagles back up quarterback and Joe Milton. All right. We have to throw another one in there because there's five of us, and we're going to have-- so can he pick it?

Will Levis, Tray Lance, Zach Wilson. So it's a two round draft. The shortest arms, Todd. Let's see, Paul, you're for--

Yeah, Paul, you go first.

Man, I don't think they're going to let Mach Jones go. I have to go with Malik Willis with my number one draft. All right. Next on the list would be-- Let's see, that'd be Seaton, I went four for four.

I am taking Joseph Joe, Milton, because I love that dude. That brings us to the massively long-armed fritzing. I'm going to take Tray Lance. Yeah. I think there's still something about him that we haven't heard

the last of Tray Lance and his abilities on the center. Hey. Yes, Paul. Is Russell Wilson on the board?

If you want to put him on the board, just check it.

You can get Zach Wilson, not Russell. Yeah. Who would you rather have? Better Wilson. I'm going to take Kyler Murray Jr. this third.

Now the incredibly long-armed Marvin Prince. Zach Wilson. Then it comes back to me. I am going to go with two a ton of ILO. Next up, Todd.

If it's a snake draft, doesn't Marvin pick twice. Oh. Oops. Sorry, Dan, you have to give that pick back. OK, I'll give that pick back, Marvin.

Oh, no. You can keep yours. Oh, you don't want to. Quite already. Wow.

OK. I'm going to go. Spencer Ratland. OK. Todd.

I'm going to grab Anthony Richardson. OK. Paul. I'm going to go with Garden. Oh no.

It's Satan. I'm going to go with Garden. No. I'll take Max Jones. We don't know if he's going to be available.

We don't know if he's available. Yeah, that's someone's going to be-- You're betting on him. You're betting on him. Paul?

I'm going to go with Garden. I'm going to go with the cheese. OK. Anybody interesting who didn't get selected. Davis Mills is pretty good.

Well, let this. Yeah. We'll let this. Can he pick it? Sam Hal.

Ow. Tanner McKee. No, he took Tanner McKee. No one did. Former Stanford quarterback.

I mean, there's enough for one more round. No, no, no. I'm good. Who is going to be this year's Sam Darnold? Who is going?

My money is on none of them.

Well, you'd have to win the Super Bowl.

Yeah. Right, exactly. Yeah.

And maybe that's not fair to say who's going to be this year's Sam Darnold,

because any of these guys going to be a Super Bowl winning quarterback in the answer would be--

Hey, this year's Indiana. They did well. Yeah, Indiana was this year's Indiana. Yeah. Yeah, they cross.

Sam Darnold's going to be this year's Sam Darnold. Yes, Marvin. I was only going off of Sam Darnold with the Vikings. Like, you know, he'll be a Pro Bowl player. Have a really good year.

I wouldn't think it about winning the Super Bowl. Because if that's the case, I didn't want any part of this draft. Yeah, but that's the thing. You can't say it's the Sam Darnold Award because Sam won a Super Bowl. If this was Sam Darnold in Minnesota, or Baker Mayfield in Tampa, then that would be different.

But, yeah, the Super Bowl attachment there. That's a pretty lofty goal. Scott, in Scottsdale. Hi, Scott. In Scottsdale.

Hey, Dad. I'm doing well. Thank you.

Regarding the Kylo Murray situation, I'm conflicted.

On one hand, his time, like Florio stated, when they entered that language into the contract, the ship sailed on him. He was gone. They should have got peak value at that point. Now we're left with nothing.

And basically, with Big Well being at the helm, we were the jet to the west at this point.

Yeah. I don't think anybody walking into this, you know, it's good in terms of taxation. The money you say going to a higher price area is, like, you're a California in such, but again, but really tough times swaying somebody unless you pay them a lot of money. And with the hit they're taking, I don't know how you're going to do that.

And that could really quickly. If you talked about basketball camp yesterday or today's weather and Rick Barry yesterday, not for nothing. My parents sent me to Rick Barry's coaching camp. It's a number of statements and the late 70s was a kid.

And I got booted about the fourth day because I wouldn't change the shirt. I had on to one that represented his camp logo. And that didn't go for too long. You got kicked out of camp? Yeah, well, what happens is at the end of the camp.

He comes in to beginning, welcomes everybody in. And at the end he comes back and he takes a polaroid with you.

Yeah, it's whole damn at this point.

So I went to another camp earlier in the year called Santa Clara coaching camp. And I chose to wear that shirt. And they said, "Who is this kid? Where's this proper shirt?" And I said, "Listen, my parents paid for this.

Can't I wear that one?" Now, obviously, I was way over my head and should have been no more respectful. But that didn't fly next to me. All right. Thank you, Scott.

I think we got most of that. Yeah, Rick Barry. If you watch the documentary, he'd tough. He'd just tough on everybody. But he'd great player.

Great player. All right, we'll take a break. More phone calls coming up. We're back after this. Dan Patrick show.

Louis Hamilton, Crapic Orange Sun, Cancer Moon, wouldn't you know it?

Michael Schumacher is also a Capricorn Sun Cancer Moon. The story of the sports most consequential driver strike. We have one man who upon hearing that he was going to be fired, freaked out and apparently climbed out the window of the bathroom. And was Dan to record his illustrious F1 career a success story,

a cautionary tale, or some combination of both. He started getting all of this attention. And he may be started to think, "I'm bigger than this. I'm better." And plenty of other mishab scandals and sagas that have made Formula One a delightful,

decadent, dumpster fire for more than 75 years. Listen to no grip on the I-Heart Radio App, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In 2023, a story gripped the UK, evoking horror and disbelief.

The nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is now the most prolific child killer in modern British history. Everyone thought they knew how it ended. A verdict, a villain, a nurse named Lucy Leppi.

Lucy Leppi has been found guilty.

But what if we didn't get the full story?

The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapses.

I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, we follow the evidence and hear from the people that lived it. To ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Leppi was. No voicing of any skepticism are doubt. It'll cause so much harm at every single level of the British establishment of this as well.

Listen to doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, on the I-Heart Radio App, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

China's Ministry of State Security is one of the most mysterious and powerful

spy agencies in the world. But in 2017, the FBI got inside. This is a special agent, Riegel, a special agent, Bradley Hall. This MSS officer has no idea the US government is on to him. But the FBI has his chats, texts, emails, even his personal diary.

Here how they got it on the 6th Bureau podcast. I now have several terabytes of an MSS officer, no doubt, no question of his life. And that's the Unicorn. No one had ever seen anything like that. It was unbelievable.

This is a story of the inner workings of the MSS. And how one man's ambition and mistakes opened its vault of secrets. Listen to the 6th Bureau on the I-Heart Radio App, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Nancy Glass, host of the burden of guilt season 2 podcast.

This is a story about a horrendous lie that destroyed two families.

Late one night, Bobby Gumpride became the victim of a random crime. He pulls the gun, tells me to lie down on the ground. He identified to remain Hudson as the perpetrator, to remain with sentenced to 99 years. And I know this can't be real. I thought it was a mistaken identity.

The best lie is partial truth. For 22 years only two people knew the truth. Until a confession changed everything. I was a monster. Listen to burden of guilt season 2 on the I-Heart Radio App, Apple Podcasts,

or wherever you get your podcasts. Pretty cool moment last night. NBC and P.C. Cock, they had an NBA throwback night. Doug Collins back. That was great.

They had, you know, clips of, you know,

previous broadcasters who worked for NBC, Hannah Storm, Pat Riley there. Bob Costas was there. You know, they've had more from me down through the years. I see a Thomas was there. They're showing you all these clips, all the different incarnations of broadcast teams that they've had.

But it was nice. And Bob Costas still brings it, man. He's still got his fastball. You see him, man, he reminds you that he did it at a different level. Yeah, pulling.

It felt like throwback jerseys, but a basketball game. They used the old logos, the old graphics, the old music. Yeah. It was very, very late 80s, 90s feel. I did mention, well, the dentants have asked me what I'm going to do with the man cave.

And when they leave, can they each take something? And I said no, because this is a museum. If you work it, you know, the museum of modern art. You don't get to walk out with something. You don't get to work in the Louvre and walk out with something.

Although, I think some people at the Louvre did walk out with something.

But, uh, no, I'm going to make it a museum. Maybe maybe set up a bread bread and breakfast here. Where you could come and spend the weekend and you could enjoy the man cave. Play basketball. We could grill.

You could sit behind the microphone. You could have your family out there. They could play the role of Danets. You know, we could have some fun with this. Yes, Tom.

No, oxygen. If I put it back in there. And then I went to those guys, you know, and so for the NBA pinball machine. For $70. You know, I want to do that.

We could have a little silent oxygen maybe. Yeah, wish you were. I was going to try to do that. We didn't know. Paul, he said that somebody reached out.

Now, is this an offer to buy my man cave when I retire?

I think the tires are being kicked. But this is a real person who works in the media slash collectibles industry. And they said they'd be interested in buying the building, just handing over the keys. They get everything in it. So Darren Revelle.

No names are involved. The only person who works in that industry. That's a one person industry. And negotiations you try protect people. Alright.

So Darren Revelle runs collect. Okay. He's curious. He's going to be shocked at how dirty all of our chairs are by the way.

Yes.

He didn't want the chairs. The chairs are disgusting. They are. They really are. We need a chair partner.

Yeah, I think it's when, you know, we'd have a meat Friday.

And then nobody had a napkin. They just white stuff on there.

You want to make a billion dollars tomorrow.

Make a napkin chair. Everybody uses their chairs. A roll of paper towels connected to each chair. Right. Okay.

So what's the offer pulling? This would be like if someone's buying the house and they want it furnished. They want the keys. Okay. All the production facilities, the cameras, everything down.

All the lights. And all the memorabilia. And they will decide what they'll do with the memorabilia. All right. Now, you would have to come up with a number.

Oh, no. I'm not negotiating. I want them to tell me what they'd pay. There you go. I'm not negotiating against myself.

So, but it is a semi real conversation. Well, there's a lot of really valuable items in here. But there's also a lot of items that aren't valuable at all. And I'm looking at them right now. That's what I mean.

It's a joke. I gotta tell you. What's that with that? Are you still upset from yesterday? Not mine.

I'm a very sensitive time. You mentioned that a few times over the past weeks of that. It's done a little bit because it wasn't the first time the time. It was unbelievable. It was unbelievably stealth by Satan.

Because Satan uses your, you know, biggest proponent. I mean, he's your cheerleader. A worst part is you guys were talking about like, you know, the songs, the power balance. And I was so, but because I was in a crummy mood. I decided to lay out and I had opportunities to like sing a little bit.

And I just sat there and seen thankfully took the role of getting some of those songs. Can't you just laugh? Can't you just go? You're a guy who tries to make people laugh.

And you can be critical in your humor.

But when somebody is critical to you, you can't laugh. Very sad in the mature. You would think it up for a 56 year old man and then you can get over it a little bit. But we were talking, everybody's talking and then Todd brought it back to him. And that's when Satan said, you know.

You know, like, oh, it's been too long since the topic wasn't, you know, centered around. We're talking about Marvin too long. So Todd, you had to bring it back. The focus. And then up at stuff, it wasn't horrible at all.

It was very playful. But because there was like a theme. I felt over the past several weeks. There was a few other mentions of like the time for it showing for whatever reason.

At that moment, I was like, I think I had enough of that.

And I'm going to be pouty and sit quietly. And I'm like, you're, you're not doing your job. And now you're like, it's in mature. I'm just unprofessional too. You know, some, I have friends who are funny people, but they're not.

They can't laugh at themselves. And I'm always amazed at that. That they have a sense of humor towards other things and other people. They just don't have one with themselves. And you fall into that kind of thing.

No, let's be thankful. This is just a sports talk show. Imagine if I was a surgeon and I'm like an opposite in someone I hurt my feelings. One of the nerves. I'm leaving.

No, we need you to finish this cranium. You got to put the thing. No, I'm out. I don't like what is that cranium. I mean, the middle brain surgeon.

I just walk out in the middle because I didn't appreciate what one of the positions. But assistant said to me. But you were sad. You just sad yesterday. Actually, I felt bad too.

I was like, oh man, I really, I'm at a, I flew a little too close to the sun or whatever on that one. It's a little stung a little too much. Yeah. But even the big Germans said, do you think Satan will apologize? So I go help.

I hope not. No, I did. Yeah. The apologizing gave me a hug too. I wouldn't have done that.

I actually like to sort of, I can really say, I'm sorry. I'm just forced them into the hug. I really didn't give them a chance. I certainly didn't reciprocate because I was a normal person. Yeah.

You seem to be a theme. I just kept his arms. I seem to be a little bit of a theme. Thankfully, there was a lot of meat sitting in the kitchen. So I, if I rallied it, felt a lot better.

But it's a little bit different. You are quietly eat steak yesterday. Yeah. Two plates. I wouldn't say.

I wouldn't say. We had our sales team up here. We had a client up here. I said hi to the clients. I was respectful.

You didn't say anything. I just wanted to eat quietly. My meat had a can eliminate. And then I had a second plate of meat. And I was fine in my little quarters.

What a baby. I know. Yeah. But let's talk about all the fun things. I did during the meeting.

Yeah. Did you see all the things that I did in the meeting? I thought I was really going to meet. Yes, Paul. It felt more real than normal.

The back room reported back to me that Todd dipped towards the back room at one point and said, "I'm staying back here." Okay. Scale a one to ten. How much did that sting?

I don't know if sting is the accurate word. But did what? How real? How real? How real one to ten.

I would say 7.2. Oh, no. I've been a lot more upset about things over the years than that.

I mean, that's why you can't give it any.

Let's go through it. Let's go through it. Let's go through it. I gave you your own podcast, huh?

That means I can never be sad or upset or anything like that.

I just got to be happy as a pagan when you know what.

I love doing the podcast.

But at that moment, you know, we all have feelings.

And at that moment, it bothered me a little bit. What am I supposed to pretend? Oh, he was a great line. Was it? I wasn't sure.

It was accurate. It was. It was one of those that it was the truth. And I'd be so proud. True.

Yes. Yes. Yeah, that was that was true, TV. Great line. The first third of fifth time that was brought up.

Wow. That's what I got upset. Well, let's see how it goes. Yeah, 7 through 10 because they're coming for sure. Yes.

Grow up. You're totally right. The fake criticism doesn't hurt. If it's not based in reality, like you shake it off because it's not true. And then I thought team team building.

The big German was going to take everybody out for lunch. And it was going to be all you can eat sushi today.

I've never heard of that.

All you can eat sushi? Yes. Is it on a conveyor belt? I don't think that one is. Now I have done conveyor belt sushi.

It just comes by. Oh, it's awesome. Yes.

And all that that you make, you eat more by the fact that it just comes by.

You don't, you can order things, but they have the conveyor belt and you just go, Oh, there's tuna. I'll take that one. Yes. I think you're on the clock.

They're like the NFL draft. It's all you can eat within like 15 minutes. That's not true. But the invitation has been extended to everybody. Backroom guys like to go to the all you can eat sushi.

But if you guys would like to go, it's a team building. You don't have to have the all you can eat sushi. Maybe there's something else on the menu. And then fighting everybody an hour before kind of feels like an invitation. No, no, no, it's been in the works.

I think there's an email. No, there is. Okay.

Email red as a mandatory need to pay anyway.

I didn't even know there was an option of not going. But I've got some free sushi. Did you RSVP? I did not RSVP because again, I read it as we'll see you there. We're going to go over some stuff.

You are going and you are going to build this team. I don't know who read that as. If you feel like joining us, come on and have some sushi. I did not read it all right. You have the choice to not go.

I'm planning on going. I was planning going all along. But I will say that it was red like we're all going to meet here. Like, you know, whether you like it or not, this is what you're doing after the show. That's how I read it.

Richie and Wisconsin. Hi, Richie. What's on your mind? Hi, Dan. Thanks for taking my call.

It's so funny just because I'm going to piggyback off the whole conversation that you just had. I listened to the Todd Cast the other day. And I got to say out of so many things that I've loved about your show through the years. I now understand what you mean when you say cut it in half. Because between my wife and I and watching and listening to your show.

Like I said, for so many years, she said, they should just call him turbo. So it's turbo Todd Fritz. I just thought I'd share that. And it's just, it's great. I love what you guys do.

But it's a great addition or add on to enhance the whole DPS show. All right. Well, thank you, Richie. And you're right. If we cut it in half, the podcast Todd Cast would be about 22, 23 minutes.

Yes, Todd. I like the turbo. I was just looking at the scene. We were like turbo. That means a Kelly ozone turbo.

And it went like the American gladiators of the break into.

Remember those are those breaking movies?

It was Kelly ozone and turbo. They were doing the break dancer. The movie break in 1984. Yeah. Yes, you do.

I don't know. I missed it. There's no stopping us. No and does it better. You know what I'm talking about.

So the Todd Cast is available at damnpatrick.com. When's your next one that you're. I think we were going to do it today. But we have the mandatory sushi. So I can't be today.

It might be tomorrow. It could be next week. Wait for the next note from the big German history. Guess what your guys are doing. It's well, 15.

Oh. We will see you. It's dropping. Well, wherever we're doing it from. Some restaurant.

All you can eat sushi. That's right. That you had me at hello on that one. Yes. I don't know if this is a bad time to do this.

But I will at best be late to the mandatory sushi meeting. At best. At best. I will be very late. Okay.

Which or or aka might not make it. Because this is team building. It is team building. Yes. But I have a meeting that I have supposed to have yesterday.

That I had to push off because we had another mandatory meeting yesterday. And now I have to do this one today. Okay. How about to go sushi? Maybe like.

I, you know. Take out. I'm going to try to make it there asap. But it's definitely not at the required 1215. I think it's 1230.

Is it 1230? Yes. Yes. What's with all the new mandatory meetings? Are we trying to be like a real place?

Yes. Like a real work. Yes. Big. Yes.

We're going to start being a real business.

Two years to go.

Man.

I said to the big German.

I'm going to leave it up to you. I need you to run this place. I'm too tired. So now he's got meetings. I just got, you know, big.

Billboards here with all the stuff that we're doing. And he's got everything.

I think he's going to do a time clock today.

We're going to have a real HR now. Oh, God. No. That's not got that quick. Well, probably closer to it than ever.

I was HR. Yeah. And you're retiring. Yes. So, yes.

The big German is probably HR.

He's got a title. I mean, I don't know what the title is. But he's kind of running the whole place here. He's taking care of the back room guys. Everybody got to answer to the big German.

You got to come in. You got to say hello every morning. Yes, Todd. A little bit of a power chip. Like the just a fire title guy.

No one likes to justify your title guy.

I'm going to have a meeting just to say out of me.

I got to do something. I guess I'm going to charge the answer. I must have to. I guess we have to have mandatory meetings. Eric and Tucson.

Hi, Eric. What's on your mind? Good morning, Dan. Hey.

I'm looking for a judgment from the sports judge.

If you are willing to offer one this morning. Yes, sir. So far room discussion rather than a ballroom. The backup quarterback starting quarterback dynamic of a right handed versus left handed quarterback. And I'm going to go to Atlanta, Michael Panics and two of being a natural fit.

Because of the way that offenses are set up and how important it is. I contend it is very important. But he's contend. It's really no big deal because they're professionals. However, my point is that all of a sudden you're blindside tackle with a left handed quarterback

is your right tackle. Your blindside tackle with a right handed quarterback is your left tackle. You have a backup that is offset handed. All of a sudden your entire offense flips. Yeah, I think there's validity in that.

Absolutely, Eric. Yeah.

Does that mean Atlanta is going to bring into a so they can keep with the left handed team?

Maybe. Yeah, Paul. There was an article quite a few years ago in the athletic that said some offense of coordinators lead against having a left handed quarterback on the roster for just those reasons. Now, if you're a star, if you're Steve Young, you know, people will turn the other cheek.

Or the other arm. Yeah. Let's see. Anything else that needs to be mentioned here? We take a break here.

All right. Take a break. Last call for phone calls. What we learned. What's in store tomorrow?

And we're back after this. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk line-up in the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxportsradio.com. And within the IHR's radio app search, F-S-R to listen live. Ready for a different take on Formula One?

Wouldn't you know it? Michael Schumacher is also a Krapikhoran-san Cancer Moon. The story of the sportsman's consequential driver strike. We have one man who, upon hearing that he was going to be fired, freaked out and apparently climbed out the window of the bathroom.

And was Daniel Riccardo's illustrious F-1 career a success story, a cautionary tale, or some combination of both? He started getting all this attention. And he may be started to think, "I'm bigger than this. I'm better."

And plenty of other mishab scandals and sagas that have made Formula One a delightful, decadent, gumster fire for more than 75 years. Listen to no grip on the IHR radio app, apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In 2023 a story gripped the UK,

evoking horror and disbelief. The nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is now the most prolific child killer in modern British history. Everyone thought they knew how it ended. A verdict, a villain, a nurse named Lucy Leppi.

Lucy Leppi has been found guilty. But what if we didn't get the false story? The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapses. I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, we followed the evidence and hear from the people that lived it.

To ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Leppi was. No voicing of any skepticism are doubt. It'll cause so much harm at every single level of the British establishment of this is wrong. Listen to doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi,

China's Ministry of State Security is one of the most mysterious and powerful spy agencies in the world.

But in 2017, the FBI got inside.

This is Special Agent Regal, Special Agent Bradley Hall.

This is a story of the inner workings of the MSS, and how one man's ambition and mistakes opened its fault of secrets. Listen to the 6th Bureau and the I-Hart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,

Late one night, Bobby Gumpride became the victim of a random crime.

He pulls the gun. Tells me to lie down on the ground. He identified Termine Hudson as the perpetrator. Termine was sentenced to 99 years. I'm like, "Lord, this can't be real.

I thought it was a mistaken identity." The best lie is partial truth. For 22 years, only two people knew the truth. Until a confession changed everything. I was a monster.

Listen to burden of guilt season 2 on the I-Hart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Last call for phone calls. What we learned, what's in store tomorrow, went back and talked to the big Germans

since it's a team building luncheon coming up. This is sort of like our OTS.

It's not mandatory, but you should show up.

And it's all you can eat sushi. And he's not thrilled with you, Todd. He's not. Yeah, he's only been on the job for a couple of days with his new title. And he said, "All right, well, when we do, Todd's review,

yearly review." "Oh, yes." Don't you hate sensitive people that get upset with the little- It can't stand there around that. I can say that a sharp member of the audience did point out

that Marvin is concerned about HR. Now that he's flipped off, the camera. But did you do this before the big German took over as the guy in charge of the man cave? Because he's now HR.

I think it's just a happy coincidence. Yeah. Well, we're not maybe not happy, but it might come up

at the team building or you can eat sushi, just letting you know.

He's got an agenda. He's got a power point. That'll be coming up. It's not mandatory, but please show up. Tommy and Madison, my Tommy, what's on your mind?

Hey, Dan. I just wanted to share a morning Marvin bird to everyone out there. Well, Dan, the mandatory meeting today, I'm sorry. I say I won't be able to make it.

They are handing out pink slips, but I'm not going to be able to make it. I know it's mandatory. I'm going to be working on my mandatory sushi t-shirt instead. So good luck today, guys. Thank you, Tommy.

See you in the final results of the poll question. There are many, many, many people. A lot of Kyler Murray poll questions, as a matter of fact. Let's run through them, shall we? Well, what kind of quarterback is Kyler Murray?

Good, very good. Average stay away right now. Average has about 53% of that vote followed by stay away. Those are the two big vote getters from Marvin the player. You wish you had that had done more with their talent.

Michael Vic running away with that one. Who is the best years or still ahead of them? Kyler or Tua. Kyler's got 75% of that vote. There might be a few more in there that I'm just not seeing right now.

This day? No. I'll put it back in the NFL 53% say yes. This day in sports history. 1913 Dan the New York Yankees travel to Burmuda for spring training.

First team to leave the country, the U.S. to train.

1993 ESPN formed the V foundation, which in me, Valvano and in 1993 same day in New York. The very first SP awards were held. Were you at that one? Yes. 93.

Yes. Yeah. Did Michael Jordan win the SP that year?

No.

That was the following year. I think Jordan won that. Okay.

First one, New York 93, which in me, V speech was Norm Mcdonald hosting.

That was a couple years later. Was Dennis Miller hosting? Is that right? Dennis Miller was the host of that. I had a lot of fun.

And once again, when we were going like, we're going to hand out our own awards. Let's not do this. And there were times when we couldn't get players coaches to show up. And then you had to entice them to show up. Like you can't hand out on the award and then that person.

And then the person who finished second not showing up.

And then it felt like who's showing up? All right. You get an SP. It was just a little disorganized to begin with because we didn't really know what. We're not in the business of an award show.

But Jimmy V speech. And you know, there's not a dry eye in the house. When he did that and you're just kind of sitting there. And he was unbelievable that night. Yeah.

If it's just, and they were trying to wrap him up. They were like, all right. Okay. Like, that's where somebody's not listening to what Jimmy V is saying. They're like, all right.

Time-wise, come on. Come on, wrap it up here. And Jimmy V even in Italian says something. Oh, yeah, you want me to wrap it up. You know.

But wow. That's, I've been around a lot of great moments. Important moments.

But you talk about a powerful moment.

That is really, really high on the list because he's dying. He knows he's dying. But he wanted to make sure that he got his message out. It's just like Stuart Scott did at the SP's. Craig Sager did at the SP's.

Stuart knew he was dying. But like in your mind, you're not accepting that. But he knew he was dying. He just didn't want to present himself as somebody who was dying. And Jimmy V the same way.

And that speech that will live on. Hopefully one day, we don't have to play it because we've cured cancer. But it not in my lifetime. We'll be hearing Jimmy V and it's a speech that resonates and people react to it. And it's still great to hear.

We're very fortunate to have had that. Let's see. Rich and Ohio. Hi, Rich. What's on your mind today?

Yeah, Dan. I just had a real quick cut question. And a request.

Is there any chance you guys could report the mandatory meeting today?

Hmm. Well, the big German is human resources. So he would have to approve. And then we'd have to get the all you can eat sushi manager to sign off on this. But I don't think we could do it live.

But maybe we could show who is in attendance. Where they sit. Maybe get like a feel of the team building lunch. I'll bring that up. We got to work on these phone calls.

Because I don't think it's the call or sits. It's popping and cracking in there a little bit. Marvin. Can you get some of your best people looking into it? I'm about my best.

But I'll get people in here. What more going on? How about you bring it up at the team building meeting? Yeah. Now I need to.

Who do we blame for the phone calls? First Tyler. Tyler. Tyler. Maybe.

I don't know. But I can hear some, you know, there's some crackle in there. That hasn't been there. Curtain Florida. Kind of wish that we all acted like we didn't hear it though.

Curtain. What are you talking about then? It sounds fine. Curtain Florida. I Curtain.

It's on your mind. I did. Thanks for taking my call. I had a fantastic idea.

I think for you to finally get your sports and me.

And you guys brought up the I did a rod. A couple months ago I heard you talking about Jesse Holmes winning the race. But if you could cover the I did a rod. Not this year because it starts this Saturday and there's no way you could prepare. But next year I think that would put you over the top.

It's such a great story.

The dogs are absolutely amazing and they love to do this, which is what most people don't realize

or can't even comprehend really. Well, I need a second source on that if the dogs are really that happy. I can't do it this year. Who's up for the I did a rod next year? Twenty twenty seven.

I know Pauli is fritzy. What if I make it about me once a while? I hope I did a Todd and I'm the one that raises the dogs.

You guys all wait for me to look.

It's Todd show is raising the dogs.

We actually should do some type of thing with Todd and dogs called the I did a Todd

and see how that goes. I know you are. I know. And cold weather. I have some fears.

Yeah. Maybe we send somebody next year to the I did a rod. That is not going to put us over the top with the sports heavy. If I'm voting I'd be like how desperate are these guys to win a sports heavy.

Just go around the room see if we learn anything on the program.

Todd. Yeah.

Mike Florio points out the Cardinal sort of traded.

Tyler before feeling compelled to include a stupid ass study clause in his contract. And quote. Satan. We have a human resources department. Yes.

It's called the big germill boy. He's called the big germill. Marvin. You might turn the studio into a bed and breakfast. Yes.

Paul. Miami. Ohio. Todd, what did I learn? When a clause has to be put in your contract to study more.

Kyle and Murray puts your desire to be great into question. Ah. Have a great day everybody. We'll talk about the team building. All you can eat sushi tomorrow.
